My husband and I got married in July 2023 and the team at George Street exceeded all expectations that we had of a wedding photography company! From start to finish, we were so pleased with the knowledge, patience, and flexibility of everyone that we had the pleasure of working with. It felt like everyone really took the time to understand what we were looking for on our wedding day, and made sure we got exactly that. Our wedding plan coordinator was Nora and she was wonderful! There is so much to keep track of when planning your wedding, but I never felt any pressure or impatience as she helped me work through details. I appreciated her communication in the months leading up to the wedding and in making sure everything was squared away. Doug was our photographer and there are no words to fully express how amazing he was. Not only did our photos turn out beautifully, but he was so reassuring throughout the day, and even showed me a few along the way in real-time! He was such a calming presence and had a remarkable ability to sense what I was thinking before I even knew how to express it. I had never met someone and immediately felt like I'd known them my whole life, but I felt that way with Doug! Overall, the team at George Street made me feel like they all fully understood that it was our day and they were all there to support us, and I would recommend them 10 times out of 10!George Street Photo & Video's reply:

Rhiannon and her assistant were an absolute pleasure to work with. She was extremely patient, easy-going, and detail oriented to work with during our Engagement photoshoot and the wedding. The photos came out amazing and couldn't have picked a better company to work with!
We received our photo previews and final collections in a timely fashion. The George Street website was very easy to use to download our 3000+ photos in a few clicks.

Friendly, Creative, & Professional

Staff and coordinators are professional, responsive, and make planning smooth, with an easy website, easy planning spreadsheet, and helpful reminders. We had a wonderful experience with George Street Photography! Our main photographer was absolutely amazing, he was professional, organized, and made us feel completely at ease throughout the day and for our portrait session. The assistant photographer and videographer were also fantastic and worked seamlessly as a team to capture everything.
The overall experience with the company was very positive, especially for the price point, which we felt was a great value for the quality we received. We were also pleasantly surprised by how quickly we got our photos and video back.

George Street was fantastic for both our Engagement shoot and Wedding! Christine was our photographer for both and she did a great job getting a wide variety of photos for our engagement shoot, adapting to our location well. She was also awesome on our wedding day getting quality pictures throughout getting ready, ceremony, and reception. We were also shocked at how fast the edited photos were returned to us, though being off-season may have played some part in this. We cannot rave enough about George Street Photo & Video! From the beginning until the end (and even after the wedding!), they've gone above and beyond for us! We ended up getting our Portrait Session & Wedding Day Photo and Video through them! The Wedding Coordinators did a great job sending us emails to give us reminders on our timeline (day-of schedule, getting in the books for portrait session, etc.) and getting back to us quickly if we had any questions.
We are from Austin, TX but we got married up in Valley View (DFW area, almost near the TX/OK border) and George Street was super willing to make it work! We were able to get our portraits in Austin and get scheduled with a different group in the Dallas area (instead of being limited to only one city)!
The photos themselves? Absolutely gorgeous! We loved each of the photographers we worked with! We even got some compliments from our guests and our wedding party about "how nice/fun the photographers are." They were super bubbly, friendly, kind, professional, and SO creative! And we loved each of their editing styles, it was exactly what we wanted! We have so many beautiful pictures that we were excited to show off & commemorate our special day :) We had friends ask us who we got our photos with, because we've received multiple compliments on how good they are! Thanks George Street!
Same with our videographer! Super easy to work with -- and we know that we can't do any re-dos when it comes to wedding videos -- so we consider ourselves blessed that Chris had all of his bases covered to make sure we had all the video and audio :) And the wedding video edit was beautiful, it brought tears to our eyes :')
One unique touch: the groom's side of the family had a lot of Deaf friends and family members, and Chris and Sarath (and the other Chris!) did a great job being friendly and accommodating them. They weren't afraid to gesture and use 1-2-3 with their hands - that really meant a lot!

Amazing team and experience! They were very easy to communicate with, and their coordinators answered all our emails very timely. Our photographer was great at finding ways for us to pose, especially since we are not very used to getting our picture taken, and our videographer was able to capture our entire wedding. They really let us live in the moment and captured our and our guests experiences! They have left us with lasting memories we will cherish forever. Seamless Experience & Incredible Photographer
Cardell was absolutely phenomenal to work with. My husband and I had no experience with professional photography and were honestly a bit awkward at first, but he immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. He guided us naturally and came up with ideas and moments we never would have thought of on our own.
He was present, patient, and incredibly thoughtful throughout the entire day—not just with us, but with our families as well. We never felt rushed, and he truly made the experience enjoyable.
I also want to highlight Courtney, who was wonderful to work with. The coordination was seamless from start to finish, which allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding day without having to think or worry about anything. We’re so grateful for such a smooth and positive experience.

Don’t hesitate, book them!!
I don’t even know where to start with this review! Working with George Street has been such a wonderful experience! From customizing our package, to the photography sessions leading up to the wedding day, everything was seamless! Our photos came back and we were in love with them! Then a few weeks later, we got our videos, and our jaws were on the floor! We cried watching back the videos because they were perfection! I had an amazing experience with George Street Photo & Video. The photographers and videographer were absolutely wonderful and we had so much fun on my big day with them. They really listened to my vision and type of photos I wanted. I loved them so much that I recommended them to my friend who ended up using them for her wedding as well. Best advice I could give is make a list of all the photos your want for getting ready, ceremony, and after. This was very helpful and everything ran smoothly. Finally, I'm obsessed with our photos and how well the books turned out.
For those wondering, I got the 8 hrs lead photographer and videographer, 6 hours associate photographer, 1 large book, 2 smaller books. My lead photographer was Sothear and Paul was my videographer.
George Street allows you to browse through several portfolios to choose the photographer/videographer you want and I really feel I picked the best ones for my vision.
They have promotions throughout the year if you're looking for a great deal. I got mine around valentine's day.George Street Photo & Video's reply:

We had a great experience with George Street. We chose Pati B as our photographer in Pittsboro, NC. Pati was fully dedicated and engaged. She had taken our photo list seriously to ensure we got every single photo and then some. She was laying on the ground in some to get a good angle. Pati really cared about the result and it showed. George Street Photo exceeded our expectations, and Ron was a huge reason why. He didn’t just show up and take pictures — he made sure the entire flow of the day went smoothly. He coordinated with vendors, kept us on schedule, and paid attention to details I didn’t even think about.

11/01/2025 Wedding Day Bliss
We got married 11/01/2025, perfect for a fall wedding. We chose George Street Photo for the quality and pricing that we saw. We couldn’t have asked for a better team, 2 photographers and a videographer. All were the perfect combination of professional and personable, adding their own touches to our ideas made everything turn out so much better than we imagined. Getting to work with our head photographer for the engagement photo session made things even better since we got to meet her in person ahead of time and understand her photo style and it let her know us better before the wedding day. Communication was so easy with our team and was always in a timely manner. George Street was the best decision we made for our wedding! From the start, the pricing was very reasonable and the communication between our wedding coordinator and our photographer/videographer was excellent. Any questions we had, were promptly answered and the whole team was professional. Weddings can be stressful already, but George Street made it seamless and stress free. Our wedding photographers and videographer were incredible! They were so friendly and inviting the day of and made the experience fun, not uncomfortable. When we obtained the photos and video, we were stunned by how beautiful they came out and our family was convinced they were from a magazine. Our video captured all the best moments of our wedding and helped us relive that day. I would highly recommend George Street to anyone. George Street Photo & Video were amazing to work with. We heard great things from the planner at our venue and were not disappointed. Before the wedding, they were so fast to answer all of my emails and calls and had a portal online that was easy to use. After attending many weddings this year, my husband and I noticed how efficient our George Street team was compared to other companies. They were kind and assertive without being too bossy. We got our photos back before the end of our honeymoon (~2 weeks later) which was impressive. They have someone for all types of photos. I went with George Street and did not regret my decision. One thing that people regretted was not enough photos or not hiring a videographer, so I knew I wanted both. They offer different packages and they were running a deal which a coordinator helped me figure out which would be a great fit. The coordinator helped me choose 2 photographers out of many they had based on their portfolios. They were extremely flexible with the way I paid since I had so many wedding bills, I could only make a certain amount of payments. My photographers delivered the pictures exactly how I wanted and now I am able to look at so many from that night. George Street was outstanding! We hired a lead photographer, associate photographer, and videographer to capture our wedding in Connecticut this past September (2025). Each employee was polite, professional, friendly, and talented. We met our lead photographer ahead of time and worked with her on an engagement shoot, which I highly recommend doing. The team collaborated well the day of the wedding and made our experience very pleasant. We received photos within a few weeks, and they were absolutely astounding! We received the video and highlight reel about 2 months after, and it was well worth the wait - the footage was breathtaking and captured our day perfectly. Nora and the other wedding coordinators were extremely pleasant to work with throughout the process. Nora answered questions promptly and with great attention to detail. Working with George Street was such a wonderful experience. They made everything about the process easy and manageable. From our very first conversation with them, they were incredibly friendly and amenable - willing to work with us regarding our budget and offered packages not based on how they could get the most amount of money from us, but on how their packages would help us execute our vision of the perfect wedding. However, where George Street really shines is in their team. We chose Jeremy as our lead photographer and he brought such a joy and passion to the photos that he took. We had chosen a rather unique venue for our engagement session (one without the best lighting to be fair) and he took such care in crafting each shot so that we both looked our best, but also popped against the background. You could tell while he was taking every photo that it was not about getting the next shot and moving on, but that he cared about getting the right shot for you. That kind of care extends to the rest of their team as well. Nora and Emily were incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. They responded to almost every email within 48 hours of sending and anytime we had a question about anything, no matter how small, they were more than happy to walk us through it either via email or by hopping on the phone. Their user portal for creating a wedding plan is also very user-friendly and was helpful in determining important moments to capture during the night as well as the best way to structure our wedding in terms of timeline. In terms of the actual wedding day, we had Mario as an associate photographer and Randy as our videographer in addition to Jeremy. Once again, all three made us feel like we were absolute stars. For Randy in particular, he was seemingly everywhere at once. If there was something happening on the dance floor or a moment of revelry happened anywhere, he somehow captured it. The process of receiving the photos & videos afterward was also much quicker than anticipated and they were stunning. We had such a hard time choosing what photos would go into the album. Overall, this was an incredible team to work with and if we were to do it all again, they would be our first choice.George Street Photo & Video's reply:

When I found Geroge Street and had our first meeting I knew this was who I was going to go with. They were able to answer all of my questions and were very transparent about their pricing. There was no hidden fees. They also worked with me on payment. Instead of 4 big payments they let me do monthly payments. Our photographer Scara was amazing. She made taking photos for hours a lot of fun. They turned out so good!! I cannot wait to get them printed out. Our wedding coordinator Nora was also a lot of help as well. George Street was everything we were hoping for in a wedding photographer! From the beginning, the consultants we work with did an excellent job. They were very responsive to our questions and helped us select a photographer that had worked our venue in the past. We ended up going with Terri, and we couldn’t have been happier! She listened to our requests and followed through with everything we asked for. She kept everything flowing when we were taking all the posed family pictures before the ceremony and selected excellent backgrounds for these pictures. During the ceremony and reception, she worked in stealth mode, never getting in the way of anything but capturing great shots.
