  Super easy to work with and responsive to emails. Most importantly, his photos are gorgeous!! We also had Geoff and his wife Candice shoot our wedding video. Very happy with the video too. Take a look at his website, if that's the style of pictures you want, you can't go wrong with Geoff.

  Makes your day easy, fun, and captures stunning shots of your special day!!

  Choosing a wedding photographer was easy once I found Geoff's portfolio! I was immediately drawn to the professional, hip, and natural vibe of his photography. In comparison to other vendor's portfolios, I noticed how every single one of his shots were special; I knew he would capture the best of our special day. When I contacted Geoff about prices/packages, he responded immediately with the information I needed and answered any questions I had about which package to choose. I was planning my wedding while finishing school so my responses weren't always timely, but he patiently worked with me on the timeline, which helped me feel prepared and calm for the big day. The day of the wedding he arrived early to help fit with our getting ready schedule, which helped a bunch! When I was running behind to set up the stuff for the detail shots, he seamlessly stepped in to grab the necessary items and got to work. As a bride who did not grow up planning every detail of my wedding or imagining how it would go, I felt at ease knowing Geoff could guide the timeline of our day so we were in the right spot for amazing photos the entire time! Also, my husband and I did not take engagement photos and were not exactly photo lovers but Geoff made us feel comfortable with his "no pressure" demeanor. In the first few minutes... we blossomed :) The wedding photos came sooner than I expected and every single photo in our album is purposeful and a dream to look at!! Do yourself a favor, stop looking at other vendors, and hire Geoff to perfectly capture your wedding day. He is the BEST.

  Pick Geoff!

  Geoff came very highly recommended through our wedding planner. We initially narrowed down our options between two different photographers based on their portfolios. Mario and I met first met Geoff one Saturday morning at a local coffee shop. Immediately we were sold due to the fact that he is very down to earth and easy to talk to. One thing you don't always think about is that you need to feel comfortable when getting pictures taken of yourself. We decided to do a test run for our wedding by also having Geoff take our engagement photos. I would definitely recommend this for the simple fact that it gives you an idea of what to expect on the big day. All in all Mario and I were not let down...on either the engagement or wedding photos. We explained the types of pictures we wanted and he got it all! For instance, I wanted lots of dancing photos. Geoff was also very quick to photo edit the albums and was always quick with communication. We also opted for the extra photographer. It is an additional cost, but this way we knew nothing would get missed on that day. Again, I would recommend Geoff for any occasion.

  Heartfelt Genuine Photography

  It was love at first sight. Unknowingly, we even wore matching outfits. Denim shirts, black jeans and a dodger cap. Was my wife threatened? Not at all. We both grew to care for our photographer so much we wanted to refer him to everyone we could (This explains why I'm writing this review now even though its much too late). So much of what goes into a wedding starts with love, care and affection. From the very first meeting to the final delivery of digital files, he and his lovely wife showed the same care all the way through. They accommodated our budget and timeline even with a few changes. He was able to give us creative direction seamlessly, and helped us get comfortable. Is he a super-talented photographer? Yes, of course. But more than that we didn't just find a photographer, we found a friend. He's given us captured memories that will last us a lifetime and we could not be more grateful.

  Thank you for capturing our perfect day!

  Wow Geoff is amazing!! We are so happy we chose him as our photographer to capture our wedding day. Our wedding planner recommend Geoff to us, and when we first talked to Geoff on the phone we knew we couldn't go with anyone else. He told us that when choosing a photographer, you want to pick someone that you would want to hangout with for a whole day. This is the best advice and it's so true. You end up spending the whole day with your photographer / videographer and you want to choose someone that you feel super relaxed around, that understands your vision, that wants to go the extra mile to make your day great, and that you would want to hangout with outside of your wedding. Geoff is 100% that! Not only did he make us feel so calm and at ease during our wedding day, but he made sure we were having a fun time at our wedding. We loved taking photos at the wedding and it was not stressful at all. Not only is Geoff awesome, but his work is amazing. I can't even believe some of the photos that I have seen of our wedding and he truly captures each and every moment. Going through the photos made me feel like I was reliving the day moment by moment and it is the absolute best! They are candid and emotional and perfection! Geoff is super responsive, so nice and has a great turn around time. He also shot our engagement photos, which I highly recommend because it give you a chance to meet and get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. I can't say enough great things about Geoff - do yourself a favor and make sure you don't miss out on him for your wedding day!!

  Videographer extraordinaire!

  My (now) husband is in the business so when it came time to finding a videographer, he was incredibly picky (I think we looked at more vendors for the filming than anything else!). And Geoff was a dream to work with! He was so professional throughout the process and really listened to what it was we were looking for. The day of, he was kind and friendly, but also so stealth-like we didn't realize he was there! We couldn't believe some of the shots he got. And the film was amazing--documentary style that looked and felt incredibly natural, but the quality was above and beyond. He managed to capture "us" (even though we despise being in front of the camera) and the little things about our venue that made it so special. Couldn't recommend him enough!

  King of the Kamera

  This guy. Not just a photographer, but a big brother, a big sister and a qualified therapist. Geoff comforted us during a brief period of stress and was everything we needed. This guy felt like he was part of the family and went along with all my bits. A lil' "yes and" action. He kept checking in with each of us to see what needed, funneling tequila sodas through me when I was nervous before the ceremony. He also gave us a sneak peak of some GORGEOUS shots just two days after the wedding. We cannot wait to see the rest and we hope to hang out with you and the wife soon! Thank you, bro!!

  Geoff and his wife were great and really easy to work with. The photos came out so well! They were the perfect amount of accessible and invisible simultaneously throughout the whole process. We have no reservations recommending their work to anyone. We love them both!

  Hire this wonderful team!

  Geoff is just the best! His team captured both photos and video of our wedding. They are so sweet and so clearly experienced: efficient, yet kind and pleasantly unobtrusive! They really took the time to understand us and how we wanted to capture our day. They were able to capture some truly personal moments without us even realizing! We've both revisited our photos and video more times than I can count in the past year and plan to so much more in the future! It is a true joy to have such dynamic and joyous documentation of our friends, our family, our details, our day, and us!

  Geoff photographed our wedding as well as engagement session. He is so calm and relaxed. I love how efficient he is with time so that we could do photographs quickly and get back to our guests and celebration! I also wanted vendors who I could imagine being guests at my own wedding, blend in to the mix and bring a great presence and vibe and Geoff does just that. His packages were very reasonable and Geoff is so easy to work with. I highly recommend him!!!

  Geoff and Candice Rivers are THE BEST. My wife and I saw their amazing work first hand at our friends' wedding in Encinitas last year - and knew that we had to have them document our big day at the Darlington House, this September. They captured fantastic shots, while being easy to work through the entire process and turned around a preview of our photos in a very timely fashion. I could not recommend them any more highly. On top of great photographers, they're truly great people!

  We hired Geoff and his wife Candace as our wedding videographers and we are so happy we did! The video highlight they delivered is beautiful, they captured such great moments and edited them together in a way that it was like reliving the weekend all over again.   Extremely professional, fun and all around great experience

  I highly recommend Geoff Rivers.
  He and his awesome wife did our wedding and could not have been happier with our time with Geoff. He made us feel so comfortable, he was professional and was so flexible. He makes any environment you’re taking pictures at look beautiful. Something I especially loved was when my husband and I were enjoying our reception, Geoff came up with a great idea to sneak away for a few minutes for some golden hour photos. Those photos are some of my most favorite from that day. You’ll love working with him and I can’t recommend him enough.

  Geoff Rivers = True Magic

  Oh Geoff Rivers is true magic. My husband and I could spend hours raving about Geoff and his amazing work. We instantly fell in love with the style of his photography. He is there to capture those special candid moments between you and your significant other, nothing posed (not a fan of those cheesy wedding/engagement poses)so everything is very natural. Scheduled a skype to Geoff and from there on it was history! Geoff traveled to Palm Springs to shoot our engagement photos and made sure we had the perfect natural lighting and also made sure we were as comfortable as can be (because having your picture taken can be nerve-wracking). When he emailed us the photos we were blown away. They were just beautiful and so perfect. Months later he shot our wedding and again we were just so comfortable around Geoff, he was not just our "wedding photographer" he was now our friend, and that is exactly how to describe Geoff, he is like an old friend who you have not seen in years but when you see each other it is like time had not stopped and that is what makes an amazing photographer. He captured the beautiful memories between my husband and I, and throughout our wedding with our dearest friends and family. I am beyond happy and thankful Geoff was our photographer because of him our wedding lives on

  Lovely photos & a great overall experience.

  We hired Geoff to take photos at our super casual, brief, intimate wedding ceremony back in November 2018. We weren't even sure we wanted/needed a photographer until a month before our wedding because of the aforementioned casual-ness, but we eventually realized we would want some professional photos of the day. Geoff had photographed my friend's wedding a couple months earlier, so we were familiar with both his photography style (natural, personal, on the artistic side) and his interpersonal approach (warm, friendly, helpful, accommodating). Working with Geoff was super easy and comfortable. We hammered out logistics and pricing quickly and easily. On our wedding day, he made me, my husband, and our rambunctious goldendoodle puppy feel totally at ease. I only regret not extending our timeline and having him take more photos into the rest of the evening. We love our photos and are so grateful to have found Geoff!

  Best photographer ever!

  Geoff did our wedding and we couldn't have been happier. He did a great job organizing my disorganized family, got all the shots we wanted, and did an amazing job capturing all the details of the wedding as well some amazing candid shots. He was easy going, friendly, and great to work with. I recommend him highly, and he will definitely be my go-to photographer for any future events.
