    Amazing Wedding Planners in Vail!

    Working with Jennifer & Meridith from Gemini was THE BEST CHOICE EVER! Our wedding was absolutely spectacular and they guided us through the entire process. Their planning, coordination, and execution was impeccable. They are incredibly detail oriented. As soon as we started working with them, they gave us a timeline that outlined what we should do at each step of the process. They had many connections with trusted vendors in the Vail Valley and were able to provide us with great choices. They were always responsive and continually followed up with vendors to project manage the whole process. Our wedding was quite unique as it was a 4-day extravaganza with the wedding day on our private family ranch estate. Gemini was able to anticipate all of our needs and plan a wedding at a venue they had never hosted an event at, which they did with ease (we had over 200 staff members/vendors with a 7 day set-up time that they had to coordinate with everything from bringing in bathrooms to building a tent from scratch to wiring audio on a floating island). The day of the wedding, Meridith was extremely calm & collected and was able to run an entire team with extreme precision. Throughout the process, Jennifer always had our back and was consistently problem solving. The whole time they always led with love, provided creative solutions, and supported us in our vision for our wedding day. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND choosing Gemini for any wedding in the mountains!

    Jeni is a visionary - best wedding investment we made!

    I have so many feelings about Jeni and my experience working with Gemini, so this is going to be a long one. I can easily say that she was the best investment we made on our wedding, and she has become such a dear, life-long friend in the process. Her planning services are invaluable - honestly I would have been so lost without her!

    Jeni is truly a visionary, and an expert in planning and executing beautiful and grand weddings, with unique and personal touches. Planning a wedding can be extremely stressful, but with Jeni, the process was nothing but FUN. As someone who didn't really have a vision for their dream wedding, Jeni helped pull that out of me. What we created together was so above what I ever could have done on my own, and having her by my side allowed me to really be present and enjoy my own wedding. I knew she had our backs and every detail was handled.

    After meeting with Jeni, I knew quickly that she was my girl. She was so thoughtful, and above all the other planners I met with, I could tell how much she cares about her clients and the work that she does. She went so above and beyond for me before I was even a client of hers.

    Throughout the planning process, Jeni and I grew to become such close friends - she is not only an amazing planner, but the most wonderful and genuine person. She has executed so many beautiful weddings, and as an expert in her field, I knew I could trust her opinions and recommendations. Every vendor that she recommended to me were top notch - she helped me assemble a team of only the best! Because she has such a strong rapport with all the best vendors in the Vail Valley and Denver areas, she was able to help us negotiate significant price discounts, additional services and preference over other potential clients that were inquiring about the same date.

    Your wedding day will be the most hectic but amazing day of your life. Jeni will make it more amazing and easier to enjoy. It was evident to me how valuable she was throughout the planning process, on the creative side, the organization side and the execution side. My husband was less involved with the details, so I don't think this was as clear to him until the day of our wedding when he everything that was going on at a once, how she managed the execution, and that she had our backs no matter what.

    Going in to the day, we knew Jeni had every single detail organized and ready to execute on. But there are so many things that happen on your wedding day that you don't anticipate, and Jeni was there to manage all of those. Like our backup plans had backup plans. My husband and I got stuck on the mountain during our first look due to rain and the ceremony was delayed an hour plus - this is a situation that could stress out any human being. We felt none of that because we knew Jeni had our backs and would help execute our vision no matter what. Literally every detail in human control was planned and executed perfectly by Jeni and the team we assembled, and she mitigated the impact of those events that were out of our control so we were able to enjoy every moment of our wedding day.

    Seeing everything that Jeni and I had envisioned and planned together over the course of a year come together in real life, on the day I was marrying my love, was one of the most emotional experiences I've ever had. I can't imagine doing it without Jeni by my side, and I can't recommend her enthusiastically enough to do her justice.

    Best Coordinator Ever (Jennifer Pletcher)

    My oh my where do i begin, the first time I met Jeni for a potential coordinator our meeting went from talking about the wedding and then actually planning the wedding, she had a lot of great ideas from the start and was so sweet and friendly. Walking away from the meeting I felt relieved and happy that I have found her and finally had a visualization of what my wedding would look like. For the next months she was always there to answer any questions or concerns. She would respond and fix any problem very fast. She gave me a lot of great advice and helped me out in any way she could. The wedding was so magical and its because of the hard work she put into it. Jeni helped me stay in our budget, she is so organized and I was so lucky to have found her. My guests from the wedding even commented how great she was. Jeni was more than a coordinator to me she became my best friend during the planning and was always there for us during our day. Jeni made me feel like I was not her client but her friend. My husband and I are both so thankful and grateful for Jeni and gemini event planning. Thank you, thank you a million times Jeni.

    Amazing Wedding Planner!!

    Jeni is hands down one of the most amazing people I have every had the privilege of meeting. Working with her was the easiest/ best thing I did throughout the entire wedding process. There is absolutely no way I could have pulled off a wedding in 5 months without her. She helped to layout everything that needed to be done each month and went out of her way to make sure that I had the winter wedding I had always dreamed of. She recommended amazing vendors and took the time to get to know both of us and understand our style. Jeni took care of everything which allowed us both to relax and celebrate with family and friends with nothing to stress about. There is no one I could recommend more. She will help you create the wedding of your dreams and will do so effortlessly and organized.

    Best wedding decision!

    Working with Jeni at Gemini was one of the best decisions I made throughout wedding planning. We were planning a destination wedding and I truly don't know what I would have done without all of her help and guidance. She went above and beyond (long before our "month of" contract began) and made us feel comfortable the entire time. I absolutely would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in the Vail area! I miss her now that our wedding has passed! Thank you Jeni & Gemini!

    Couldn't have done it without Jeni and her team!

    I can't even describe how wonderful and EASY our wedding day was! Jeni did such a fantastic job helping us plan our perfect day! What mattered to us was to make our day stress free and fun...and we couldn't have done that without Jeni's help! We planed our wedding in Vail, Colorado while living in Las Vegas. And myself never living in the Vail Valley before (my husband is from there), I didn't know where to start for vendors. Jeni recommended some perfect people to help us with photography, cake, flowers, the venue, lodging...and when you are trying to get family in from out of town, that makes all the difference in the world to have that off your plate as a bride! Everything was exactly how we imagined and we can't recommend Jeni and Gemini Event Planning enough!

    We could not have asked for a better wedding planner than Jeni Pletcher and Gemini Events! She is absolutely fantastic and was crucial in helping bring together the greatest wedding, and weekend, ever. I remember when we first started planning and decided to work with Jeni, she gave us this calendar of all the small decisions we needed to make month-by-month. At that point, I knew we had made the right choice to hire a wedding planner, and Jeni specifically! Since I grew up in Vail, I thought my family had a good sense of the wedding vendors available to us, but Jeni brought so many new ideas to the table about how we could support local businesses AND have a stunning wedding. Gemini helped us stay on budget, on our timeline, and most importantly, kept planning fun for everyone! So many of our wedding party have commented that Jeni ran the best wedding they’d ever been to (which says a lot…our wedding party has been to hundreds of weddings put together) from the wedding rehearsal to getting ready to navigating the stress of a last minute rain storm at an outdoor wedding.     Where do I start!?! Jeni was easily the SMARTEST money we have ever spent. She saved us money on OTHER things when possible. She broke down all our tasks into easily manageable line items. She reminded us of due dates. She worked up ALL vendor contracts. She basically does EVERYTHING. She was so nice and personable. After all, said and done, I am now proud to call her our friend. We are forever grateful for everything she did. HIGHEST recommendation a person can give.

    Jeni and the Gemini team made the wedding process seamless. I was so intimidated by all the things I needed to do, and Jeni broke it down into month-long "homework assignments" that seemed so small and do-able! By the time the wedding came around, I was prepared for the few things I needed to complete, but everything else was taken care of beautifully! Highly recommend!!!

    If you are considering getting married in the Vail Valley - get on the phone and call Gemini ASAP - you NEED to snatch these ladies up quick. They are the best, hands down. They made our wedding experience perfection. From our first phone call to our final goodbye hug - it was pure magic. Thanks to Jenni & Meghan, our day was beyond our wildest dream - I think I am still sore from smiling so much the entire time (and sore from all the dancing!)

    Jeni Pletcher is hands down the most amazingly supportive and helpful partner we could have asked for on this journey that was my daughter’s wedding. I live in New York City, my daughter and her now husband live in Denver, and the wedding took place in Vail. Needless to say, I felt like I had boots-on-the ground the entire time - really capable ones. Jeni kept us on track in a way that never felt rushed or overwhelming. She was a constant calming and reassuring voice and she was there with us every step of the way. She understood our vision and she did everything in her capacity to help make it happen. Nothing was ever too much for her and she honestly made it look easy (from our end!) Having Jeni in your corner is like having a team of five people. I honestly don’t know how she does it, but she is nothing short of a miracle and I am grateful beyond to have met her. She is so much more than a ‘wedding plannner’ . . . She truly cares about making your wedding as special as it should be and she does that with grace, fortitude and an truly giving heart.

    I would give 50 stars if I could, and another 50 to Jeni herself!
    tl;dr — Go pick up the phone, hire Gemini, work with Jeni and you will be in the absolute best of hands!!!

    I’m not exaggerating in the slightest when I say that Jeni MADE our wedding — she’d deny it because she is simply the nicest, humblest and most down-to-earth bad*** in the industry, but it’s true.

    In the beginning there were vendor recommendations, and Jeni made sure we were fully exploring our options and choosing a rock-star team. She always gave her honest opinion and did extra research on our behalf.

    Up next there were contracts. Endless contracts, and endless payments. Jeni went over every contract with a fine-toothed comb, bubbled up any questions or concerns to me and my mom, and make sure we signed everything on time. She also helped us put together a payment tracker, and helped us work with vendors to sort out payment schedules that worked for us.

    As we got further along in the planning process, Jeni started putting together our ‘wedding worksheet’ — the grand masterplan for the weekend. I’m pretty type-A, so this was one of my favorite documents: everything color-coded, in one place, and frequently updated :)

    I could go on about her rock solid organization leading up to the event for DAYS but let’s jump ahead to our wedding weekend…

    Jeni CRUSHED it. From the minute we arrived in Vail, we felt taken care of. She picked up LOADS of decorations/favors/paper goods, etc. from our house, made sure everything got where it needed to go, crafted a last minute rain plan, brought us coffee in the morning when we realized we didn’t have any, made sure everything was executed to perfection up at our reception venue, plus a million other things I can’t even remember, and probably a million more I didn’t even know about!! She was basically our fairy godmother, and made our wedding day more perfect and beautiful than I could ever imagine!!

    By far the BEST wedding/party planner!! We absolutely could not have done it without Jeni! Jeni was always professional and friendly, yet kept us moving forward. She took time to listen and get to know us and was able to recommend incredible vendors that suited our tastes perfectly. She took the lead on EVERYTHING and managed all items in great detail to ensure our event was EXACTLY what we wanted. We had very busy schedules and Jeni was able to interface with our vendors and advocate on our behalf which was a huge benefit to us. Jeni takes great pride in her profession and worked tirelessly to make our event perfect. We could not provide a STRONGER RECOMMENDATION - use Jeni - this will be the BEST decision of all that you make!

    Of all the expenses that come with a wedding this was the best money we spent! I can not overstate the value of the service provided by Jeni and the team at Gemini Event Planning. We hired Gemini as we needed local experts and were connected to an array of wonderful vendors that suited our taste and budget. Working with Jeni was a dream. Her organization, positivity, calm nature and pure joy in participating in the planning for our wedding made this experience one we will always remember with a smile. She became like family as she celebrated and shared in this momentous event with all of us. It was a bit sad to say goodbye at the end. I will definitely call upon them again should either of my next two daughters choose to be married in the Vail Valley.

    Where do we even start with Jeni and Gemini Events? She's just so amazing! From the very beginning, she heard out all of our thoughts and got to know more about who we are on a personal level. Jeni took time to understand the vision of our wedding from arrival of the first guest through the send-off brunch. She connected us with the A-team of vendors, who also shared our same vision, and she always communicated professionally and timely, which really reassured us coming from out of state. Jeni kept us organized and on-track with great timelines, tools, and spreadsheets throughout the planning process. We constantly felt a deep level of trust with Jeni, such that we never worried about something going wrong or any details getting missed. The wedding day itself went off flawlessly, thanks to Jeni and her team, and we couldn't be happier with the level of excellence, hospitality, and grace we felt from her and were able to share with our guests. We constantly felt like Jeni was a part of our team - and really, now more a part of our family!

    Dear Brides to Be,

    I am the mother of the bride and had the amazing privilege of working with Jennifer at Gemini Event Planning to orchestrate my daughter's wedding into a dream wedding. Jennifer can best be described as a "wedding dream maker." The title of wedding planner does not do justice to what she was able to accomplish for the Byrd/MacMaster Wedding in Beaver Creek, Colorado on June 23, 2018. A dream maker is someone that will support, assist, and promote the personal dreams of another. And that is just what she did for my daughter Elizabeth and her groom Max. Jennifer listened to our ideas, budgetary concerns, answered our questions in a timely manner, and came up with a workable plan to accomplish extraordinary results. Dream makers allow creativity to soar. They are visionaries. Jennifer took our ideas and ran with them. She was the wind in our sail and demonstrated calmness during my anxious moments. Her practical optimism ensured us that any challenges we met could be overcome. On the morning of the wedding I woke up and knew that Gemini would be there to coordinate the perfect wedding day. Jennifer showed up on time with a huge smile and I was so glad to see her! A fascinating wedding unfolded and I congratulated myself for entrusting her to handle the most important day of my daughter's life. Did I mention that I totally got to enjoy myself? That was the big bonus!

    Simply put, Jennifer Pletcher at Gemini Events is incredible. As I bask in the afterglow of what was truly the wedding of my dreams, it's hard to put into words just what a difference Jeni made. The level of communication and support she offered in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, to her meticulous attention to detail and professionalism on the day-of was world class. Going into wedding planning I was 100% skeptical that spending the money on a coordinator was worth it, because I was feeling like, 'what is there to coordinate?' The answer is SO MUCH you guys, so. much. to. coordinate. From the expert execution of our wedding timeline, to coordinating timelines with every vendor, picking up BOXES of decorations from Bachelor Gulch, executing tablescapes and seating charts, keeping us relaxed and on time throughout the night, and ensuring our glasses were always full and our hearts happy... Jeni delivered on every front!

    My husband and I are from Austin, TX so choosing the top of Beaver Creek Mountain (ceremony) and Saddleridge (reception) meant undertaking a destination wedding from a few states away. I am very type A and had a clear and concise vison of EXACTLY what I wanted, so handing that over to someone was difficult, but Jeni navigated the day with the grace of a planner that had thrown a wedding there a dozen times over... and if there were any hiccups along the way, I certainly didn't notice. If you're someone like me who has a clear vision for your wedding but needs someone to help execute all the intricacies on the big day, you can rest assured that Jeni will nail it.

    If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't do a thing differently, and I know it's in large part because I picked the perfect groom and a stellar vendor team that included Jeni/Gemini Events. If you're planning your wedding and considering Gemini as your "day-of," you can check that item off your list.

    Even with the rainy weather, our wedding in Vail was absolutely perfect thanks to Jeni at Gemini Event Planning! My husband and I were living in Houston during a majority of the planning, so it was difficult for us to meet with vendors, etc. After being referred by a friend to Gemini, we had our initial phone call with Jeni and Meg and immediately knew we were in good hands. I would not have been able to get through the planning process without Jeni! She was by our side every step of the way, and I am so thankful for her. She understood our vision and personalities and referred us to vendors who were a perfect match for us! Jeni is always positive; she knew exactly how to calm me down when I was feeling stressed. She talked me through ideas and provided suggestions but was never pushy; she made sure that we had the best wedding day possible.     Initially I didn’t know if I needed a wedding planner. But in only 9 months Jeni delivered the very best vendors and the most “epic” wedding, also referred to as “the wedding of the century” by our guests. We could have never conceived nor implemented this endeavor on our own. Jeni is remarkable- you want her incredible skill set and strong relationships on your side.     My daughter wanted a destination wedding in Beaver Creek while living in Florida. As mother of the bride this seemed like a very difficult task being that we are so far away. After speaking to several planners were were blessed to come across Gemini Event Planning. Meg was very nice and said Jennifer would be contacting us soon. When Jennifer called my daughter and I knew right then and there she was godsend!!!! There was an immediate wonderful connection, we knew we'd found the "one" and that we wouldn't have to look any further. She was never pushy, she always made sure she understood exactly what my daughter wanted then went above and beyond to help us make her vision a reality. Weddings have a lot of moving parts but Jennifer gave us total confidence and peace of mind that everything would be smooth and that everything would be taken care of. She brought expertise and positive energy to the planning process. She knew our vendors, kept timelines and was very much on top of all the details making sure nothing was missed or overlooked. Jennifer takes pride in her job, she makes sure she's available to answer any questions throughout the entire process. We never felt hurried or pressured, my daughter and I always felt at peace after talking to her. At times when we'd feel somewhat overwhelmed and on the verge of a meltdown she always knew what to say to make us feel at ease and that she had it all under control. The best part wasn't that she'd just say it, she really did have it all under control. We know we couldn't have done it without her! We started off as clients and now we can call her a friend!     We ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Gemini team. They did a wonderful job of taking care of all the obstacles with wedding planning big and small. They went above and beyond to make sure that we got to enjoy not only our wedding day, but the entire wedding week. They took care of problems before we even knew about them and they allowed us to enjoy a care free wedding day and trip! We would recommend them to anyone!!!

    We LOVED getting to work alongside this team. My husband and I are actually wedding videographers that have worked with our share of coordinators. It's not very common that we spend a portion of our drive home talking about how amazing the coordinating team is, but we did with this team. Their attention to detail was so great and the fact that they were always around when someone (us or guests!) needed them was so amazing, but the most notable thing to us was their readiness to be helpful for anyone. You would think that this "readiness to help" is a notable thing from all coordinators, but this team just felt so much more like they were one step ahead of everything happening and always willing to be helpful for everyone day-of. We just loved that so much!

    Meg and Jeni at Gemini Event Planning were absolutely amazing and worth every penny. We hired Gemini Event Planning to do "day-of" planning and they went above and beyond helping us coordinate the whole weekend, complete with activities lists, restaurant and bar suggestions, etc. Both Meg and Jeni were professional in organizing, running the rehearsal and day off, including fixing mini issues along the way such as my veil falling off, people running late, and general "herding the cats & keeping the peace" between multiple divorced families. The level of relaxation, ease and peace of mind they gave me that weekend is something I would highly recommend to everyone!

    My husband and I recently got married in Vail and have nothing but positive things to say about the Gemini Event Planning team. I wish I could give them more stars! I am from Vail and knew exactly where I wanted the wedding and what I wanted, but when it came to the month of and day of coordination, I knew we needed help. We interviewed a few planners, but loved the way Meg and Meaghan assured us of how detail oriented they were and how that it was their process that would make our wedding a success! My big thing was that I wanted our family and wedding party to be able to enjoy the wedding and not worry about the little things. I work in marketing so plan events in the Bay Area on a regular basis, and I was floored by the level of detail and how they took control of everything and anything. March 25th was the best day of our lives and I owe a lot of it to them because I would not have been able to enjoy it to the level I did if they had not been there! I only wish I could get married every weekend and have them leading the charge!

    I can't say enough wonderful things about Gemini Event Planning and can’t thank them enough for making our wedding better than I could have ever dreamed of. We planned our wedding for over a year and a half, and from the initial planning, to making our dream a reality, to the invaluable execution the day of the wedding - Meg and her team went above and beyond, and we couldn’t have done it without them. The amount of time and care Meg put into our special day made us feel like we were Gemini's only wedding (which was definitely not the case)! Meg provided inspired direction, creative ideas, and organizational mastery, while simultaneously dealing my mom and me for 20 months! I feel lucky to have worked with such a phenomenal wedding planner and to have made a lifelong friend in the process!     After interviewing multiple wedding planners in the Denver/Summit County/Vail area, my fiancé and I were lucky enough to find Gemini Event Planning. We met with Meg for coffee and immediately knew she was the planner for us. Not only is she super cool (she mountain bikes and skis when she isn't planning weddings), she is the absolute BEST at what she does. Meg is incredibly detailed oriented and is extremely well connected in the area. We utilized the Ritz Carlton as our host hotel including a welcome bbq/brunch, married at the Beaver Creek Wedding Deck and had our reception at Beano's Cabin. Without Meg, we never would have been able to keep things straight between all of the different contacts and wouldn't have known where to begin to coordinate all of the details. Meg worked with us every step of the way and is a natural at keeping things fun - you know it is a good sign when you are laughing after each call! My husband and I both started new careers, got a puppy and bought a house while planning our wedding and Meg was very accommodating to our busy schedules. She was a pro at addressing any questions or concerns we had, and eased our worries about the unpredictable weather in Colorado by having plans A through Z. I loved the detailed timeline she created and the weekend itinerary provided to our wedding party and families was a life saver. Our wedding weekend turned out to be everything we dreamed it to be and I can't thank Meg enough for taking the weight off of our shoulders so we could enjoy every moment of the celebration!!

    Meg is truly the best in the business. She is extremely responsive, accountable, and organized and most of all fun to work with.     Meg was SUCH a positive presence in our wedding weekend, and especially in my experience as the bride. I don’t know how I would have planned this destination wedding without her. We are from Kansas City and we had our wedding in Beaver Creek. We needed a planner we could trust while planning from afar. Meg took care of us! She knows Beaver Creek and the surrounding area like no one else! I always knew I could trust her recommendations, and this made the planning process SO much easier! I cannot rave enough about Meg and the vendors she helped me book for our wedding day. They truly made us feel so special and made the whole day flow so easily.     When my fiancé John and I got engaged two years ago, after a few weeks of congratulations and excitement came the questions of when are you getting married? Where are you getting married? What are your colors, etc, etc. Being an extremely organized person and having been to many, many weddings some of these ideas were in my head, but I had no idea where to start. I was lucky enough to have my mother start the process and when she met Meg, it was a perfect match – calm, positive, methodically, spreadsheet organized woman; someone I could clearly relate to.

    From day one, a year and a half before the event, Meg and I bonded over organization and she completely knew how to deal with my type A personality. She listened to all of our desires and gave us additional ideas that brought our entire vision together. Since we lived in Boston and could only make limited trips to Beaver Creek, we knew we needed to feel comfortable with a local planner who had the relationships in the Valley to truly help us plan, and we could definitely feel that from Meg. She helped us finalize our venue, Beano’s Cabin, and pick the best vendors that created a comfort for John and I to know the day, plus the entire week of events would be a time we wouldn’t forget.
    While Meg was amazing with the planning, the week and day of, Meg and her team were an absolute dream. I was pretty anxious leading up to that week, but when we arrived to Beaver Creek, Meg was so on top of what was needed that I really started to relax and enjoy the experience. Once the actual wedding day came along, I truly did not worry about anything and could actually be in the moment. I can tell you confidently that she completely delivered. We could not have asked for a better group of people to work with.

    We still look back and cannot believe how perfect the day was. I am truly going to miss my monthly calls with Meg. I cannot thank her and her team enough for the most amazing day that John and I will never forget.

    I interviewed several wedding planners before settling on Meg Stepanek. She was personable and energetic and was able to clearly speak to any questions that I had. I have a busy job and was anxious about the amount of time I would be able to spend on mother of the bride duties. Meg took the time in the beginning to get to know me. She was very sensitive to my work schedule and kept things moving even when I didn't respond to her questions immediately. I was always comfortable knowing that she was on top of things and would persist getting in touch with me if a final decision needed to be made. She went over and above in everything that she did. I can't begin to list the things she helped me with avoiding a last minute crisis. There were so many - from helping repair a torn veil to finding the lost marriage license. There were three events included in the weekend. After all of the planning leading up to the busy weekend, I sat back and enjoyed every minute. Meg was there working behind the scenes making sure it was all perfect. And it was - I can't thank her enough.

    Meg Stepanek at Gemini Event Planning is quite honestly the best wedding planner that I could have EVER hoped for. We began our meetings over a year before my wedding date. She kept me on track with her master monthly to do list and our phone calls that were supposed to last 15-20 mintues often lasted an hour because we had so much fun chatting. Her excel spreadsheets are legendary!!!! You know exactly what your budget looks like from day one and this is so helpful to realize where you've over-spent and what you need to cut back on to stay on track. She is the perfect balance of type-A get things done and bubbly sweet positivity. She organized mock-ups with several of our vendors so that I knew exactly what the day was going to look like. This was so huge for me to be able to see what the flowers looked like and the chargers and the chairs, etc. so that we were on the same page about it all. I felt so prepared and in such good hands leading up to the wedding and it is all because of Meg!! The weekend of the wedding Meg and her team went absolutely ABOVE and BEYOND! We had 3 days of events and I felt completely at ease because she was so on top of everything. The Friday of the rehearsal dinner, Meg functioned as the bartender at my bridal brunch and then flew to decorate the rehearsal. I can only equate her grace, attitude, and ability to make it all so perfect to that of super woman. The day of my wedding was GORGEOUS!! It was more beautiful than I could have EVER imagined!!To this day (1 month later), I have friends constantly coming up to me to say that my wedding was the best party that they've ever been to. I had girlfriends at my wedding (who go to weddings almost weekly in the summer) who wanted to hunt down Meg because they were in awe of everything she had created for the wedding. She is the BEST at EVERYTHING (from the day you meet to the wedding day) and I couldn't be more grateful for her and her incredible team at Gemini!!

As an out of town bride, it is so helpful that she knows everything and everyone in the area and is great at finding vendors in any price range or request. She also has a great team that will make sure your wedding day is spectacular and goes off without a hitch!     Meg, Meghan and McKayla were amazing! We had a destination wedding and planned everything from our home state, only visited the venue 2x before tying the knot! Meg and Meghan were invaluable in helping us put everything together! We even had an unexpected snow storm (and were wanting to do our wedding outside), they handled our families expressing our wants and overcoming their obstacles about being out in the weather! Everything flowed seamlessly and was so stress free the entire day! I couldn't have hoped for a better wedding! I literally just had to show up and enjoy! Thank you ladies!

    Meg and Meghan were gems to work with! As a fellow wedding planner, I know how much time, energy, blood, sweat, and tears go into planning a wedding and having it run smoothly. They were super detailed oriented leading up to the day (something I really value!) and answered emails promptly - which gave me peace of mind that the day would be fantastic. Once the wedding was here, they ran the rehearsal efficiently, and were calm, cool, and collected on the day of! (they even had umbrellas for the guests to use when it began raining/snowing RIGHT as the ceremony began). Did I mention they have a great sense of humor, and were always one step ahead of the timeline? I could go on about how fantastic they were! Really. Hire them!

    We planned a destination wedding in Beaver Creek while living in Boston and absolutely loved working with Meg! Our wedding had a lot of moving parts but Meg gave us total confidence and peace of mind that everything would be smooth and all of our guests would be taken care of. She brought an incredible expertise and energy to the planning process and she knew every one of our vendors on a first name basis making the logistics so much easier.     Meg was absolutely amazing. We were planning a winter wedding from Seattle. From our first phone call, Meg put me at ease, and it just continued. From discussing budget, to seeing my vision, to executing the wedding day, everything went smoothly and perfect. Meg worked with us to customize our needs and budget. If there were any issues (always minor) I could shoot Meg a text and it would taken care of immediately. Meg knows everyone in the industry and has great relationships with all the vendors - When we met with the florist or DJ or photographer, they always said we were in great hands with Meg, and we were. I trusted Meg, her team and her recommendations - it ended in such a magical day.

Coordinating an elopement wedding in Colorado while you live in Florida could have been a nightmare, but Meg made it a dream! One we will never forget. She answered all/any questions we threw her way. Provided fantastic vendors, and showed up with a positive stress free attitude and helped our day to be the best day of our lives. From arranging the vendors to the ceremony site, giving weather forecasts and updates for the area and even helping me slip into my wedding dress was such an amazing gift from Meg.     I can’t say enough good things about Meg Stepanek and Gemini Event Planning, and anyone looking to get married in the greater Vail area would be foolish to pass up working with her. She is incredible and I said repeatedly before, during, and after my wedding that the single best decision we made in the wedding planning process was to work with Meg. I could continue gushing about how great Meg is, but I’ll sum it up by saying the three most incredible and valuable parts of working with Meg:
    1) Listening and patience: Meg gets to know you, your fiancé, and your family so that she understands what you want during your wedding. She listens to you and will remember everything you said. That is hugely important in a wedding planner because once you make a decision – even the tiniest ones – you need to move on to the next decision or you’ll get bogged down. She follows up immediately with information you requested. And often, she knew what I was trying to express even before I fully did because she had listened closely and had gotten to know me!
    2) Vision: She will help you turn your vision for a wedding into a reality while respecting the budget you set. From talking to other friends about their wedding planners, I feel confident saying that is a rarity!
    3) Execution: In the lead up to your big day and on your wedding day itself, Meg knows how to take charge (without imposing at all) and make sure everything goes exactly as planned! After months and months of planning, you’ll be thankful someone as skilled and organized as Meg is in charge so the day is exactly what you want.

    Meg Stepanek is a true joy to work with! From the moment we first spoke with her, we knew we were in good hands. Meg is focused on every detail (even details we never knew existed!) yet she is always mindful of the larger vision for the big day. She is hands-on and collaborative, but never dictates what you should do or decide. Meg is full of positive energy and is willing to go well above and beyond to do what needs to be done. Looking back now at our actual wedding day, we can honestly say it was perfect. Meg executed flawlessly, and our all of our guests agreed that she is something special.     We highly recommend Gemini Event Planning!! We got married October 3, 2015 in Beaver Creek, CO, and Meg Stepanek was the wedding planner of our dreams. She listened to us, presented vendors that matched our aesthetic, and was a pleasure to work with for over a year. She is creative, fun, down to earth, and her staff was excellent as well. Most guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and there wasn't a single problem that Gemini couldn't handle.     Meg Stepanek is the best wedding planner in the Vail Valley! Meg and her team at Gemini Event Planning were incredible! Together we planned a wedding for my daughter that was perfect. Meg was very organized, competent and easy to work with throughout the whole planning process. Together we planned the Thursday night welcome dinner, a Friday afternoon meet and greet, Rehearsal dinner, Saturday morning hike, Saturday lunch, Wedding for over 200, and Sunday brunch. I thought I had all of the planning down but during our many long phone conversations (I was an out-of-state bride) Meg asked me questions that I hadn't even thought of yet! She also offered suggestions for anything I was unsure of. I was immediately at ease to have someone so experienced, especially in the Beaver Creek/Vail area. She really helped me to be relaxed on my wedding day. I didn't have a single worry about timing issues, vendor coordination, or decorating. We met with her team a couple of days before the wedding and they had such a high attention to detail. We came with very specific instructions of how we wanted our decor to be setup and they nailed the execution on the wedding day. When we walked up the stairs at Saddleridge after the ceremony, I was blown away by the way they had everything setup - amost brought tears to my eyes! You can tell Meg and her team truly have a passion for what they do. Hiring Gemini Event Planning was easily one of the best wedding decisions I made.

    Gemini Event Planning served as our wedding planner for our Vail Wedding this Summer. It couldn't have been more perfect and it was all because of Meg and her amazing team! A thunderstorm popped up as the ceremony was starting and almost got in the way of our beautiful outdoor wedding but Meg was able to pull it all together and we still had a gorgeous ceremony outside! One of her assistants was always with my groom and myself making the timing of everything so simple. Meg and her team helped us with so many other behind the scenes tasks, details, and fielded any bumps along the way so that we were able to have a stress-free and incredible wedding day.     Meg Stepanek, owner of Gemini Event Planning, is a knowledgeable professional who guided us on every aspect of the Rehearsal Dinner planning and she insured its perfect execution. First and foremost, she is a joy to work with and she immediately assesses what you want to accomplish. We had a dinner for 218 people on the top of a mountain. Meg helped us select the very best vendors from our fabulous florist to our wonderful photographer. She assisted in securing the Grooms Cake and Lighting expert and guided us on all rental, and budgetary options. She is simply amazing and we could not have had this magical event without Meg's involvement. She was on sight with us during the dinner and her team were lovely and made a large gathering feel intimate. She works beautifully with all vendors and represents her clients with professionalism infused with fun and grace.

    Meg is an absolute delight to work with! She is upbeat and positive but not
    over the top. She has excellent communications skills, is very well
    organized, efficient, and knows how to get things done. She has that get up
    and go factor that's hard to find. She does an excellent job of taking on
    the client's vision and trying to keep vendors aligned with these goals.
    While I always felt that Meg was on my side, she also offered much
    appreciated practical advice given her experience and expertise. I would
    choose Meg again in a heart beat. I come from a city of highly critical,
    southern debutantes and this wedding blew even the most critical guest out
    of the water. As a bride on my wedding day, I did not expect perfection by

    I cannot say enough about Meg and her ability to plan an amazing wedding event! She is incredibly compassionate, creative and energetic. We planned our wedding with her while living in the Midwest - her ability to keep us on track but also excited about the process was unparalleled. Meg offered a variety of vendors (photographers, florists, etc.) to suit our budget and style but ultimately allowed us to make the final decision. Additionally, we had a number of complexities she managed flawlessly (coordinating activities for our out of town guests, coordinating arrivals/departures from a number of local airports, etc.). Lastly, she became a family member and more like a sister than a vendor as we worked so closely together - she personally ensures every bride and groom are so happy with the result!

    Meg helped us plan the fun and stress-free wedding that we wanted. We live out of town but have lots of friends and family in Denver so we decided on a mountain wedding in Vail, Colorado. We wanted someone with knowledge of the local venues and vendors to help us coordinate the many moving pieces. Meg was really fun to work with and was flexible to work around our schedule throughout our 18 month engagement. She helped us find everything including venues for the various wedding events, caterers, florists, rental companies and a printer. She has great attention to detail and is so easy to get a long with.     Meg was fantastic! She and her team were extremely attentive to our every need and provided excellent recommendations and design ideas to make the day even more special and memorable. Meg handled every aspect from the location (she helped us pick the ideal venue), date, catering, entertainment, decor, event schedule and made it seem much more easier than I thought it was going to be.

    On the day of our Anniversary, she remained on site to manage every detail and command the event flow. I honestly didn't have to do a thing! I put my confidence, trust and faith into her team to make it happen and they delivered! I've not heard anything but positive comments from my friends and family who attended. Indeed, it was a very special and amazing evening!

    I only wish we would have known Gemini Event Planning when me and my wife got married 20 years ago!

    Meg was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a wedding coordinator! She was very organized and on point. She communicated with us well and we felt like we were on the same page and prepared very quickly. Her personality is the perfect combination of take-charge and friendly. So she got things done, but in a nice and personable way.

    I wasn't sure if we were going to get a wedding coordinator initially because we were trying to have a smaller wedding and didn't want to spend too much money. But hiring Meg was a great decision! She handles a lot of little things that you don't even think of before the wedding, and things that you definitely won't have time for on your wedding day. Your wedding day goes by SOOO fast. It is important to plan and prepare so the special day is how you dream it to be, and Meg is the right person to hire to help you do that.

    Our wedding day was exactly what I hoped it would be AMAZING! And a large reason for that was all of Meg's work.

    Meg, handled my rehearsal dinner, welcome roundup party, wedding & Sunday brunch without one misstep. When we first thought about having our wedding in Colorado I was a little concerned because we had only vacationed there and I didn't know anyone or even where to start. I spoke to several properties and they keep telling me to call Meg. When I meet with her and spoke to some of her vendors and brides I knew I had found the right person. She is amazing and from the start of my wedding weekend to our Sunday brunch I never worried because Meg had everything under control. I just can't say enough great things about her and her girls.

    After I keep hearing Meg and Gemini Events name over and over I finally decided I had to meet with this wedding planner and she was everything and more. She knows everyone in Colorado and all the vendors want to work with her. When you speak to a vendor about her they all say "she is the best" and "we love working with her group"...If I gave her a problem she gave me a solution. Her attention to detail is just amazing. On top of everything else she so fun to be with at a time that can be stressful..she just takes all the stress and keeps smiling. I could not imagine planning a wedding with anyone else.

    Meg and the team at Gemini Event Planning made our wedding day! She was a wealth of knowledge pre-wedding day and on the wedding day made everything flow and look so effortless. Meg is extremely professional and paid attention to every detail. The catering staff didn't notice that our champagne glasses weren't filled going into the toasts and Meg jumped on it and made sure they were filled. Working with Meg was so fun and easy and I appreciated knowing that she had all the details covered and I could sit back and enjoy every moment of our wedding day!     Can I give her a 10?!!

    After a friend backed out of our wedding planning at a late date Meg stepped in a took the reins. I don’t know what I would have done without her! We were planning our wedding from a distance. While we were familiar with the area we couldn’t meet with the vendors to fine tune the details. Meg was on top of everything! She took us through all the details to figure out everything we wanted. She even took the time to talk to my mom and mother-in-law, and listen to their wishes when I couldn’t anymore. She really understood what I wanted and conveyed it, and sometimes fought for it with all the vendors (and relatives) we used. Weekend of of the event, she was amazing! I was so relaxed (or as relaxed as one can be on their wedding lol!) knowing that she had absolutely every detail anyone could ever imagine under control and scheduled down the to minute. Meg is experiences, prompt, detail oriented, organized, motivated, flexible, kind, understanding the list goes on and on. You would be foolish not the use her for you wedding or any big event.

    After first speaking to Meg Stepanek on the phone, I knew I had stumbled across not just a talented wedding coordinator, but someone we would also enjoy working closely with. Upon meeting Meg for the first time, Nick and I were instantly impressed with her professionalism and experience, especially with our venue and selected vendors. She was very helpful with answering our questions, handling the venue set-up & tear-down, coordinating with our vendors’ day-of, making sure the ceremony and reception was orchestrated beautifully, and tackling a curve ball thrown her way hours before the event with great success. Nick and I are truly grateful to have had Meg as our wedding coordinator to guide us through both our rehearsal and our special day and to make sure everything went as planned.     From our very first meeting with Meg Stepanek, I knew that we had found the perfect wedding planner! Her personality is the perfect combination of friendly enthusiasm and business-like organization. She shared in our excitement from the beginning and made the planning process a fun experience. She was very professional and extremely prompt in responding to all forms of correspondence, texts, phone calls, and emails. Many times I made requests of her that I thought went “above and beyond the call of duty,” and both during the planning process and on the day of the wedding, there was nothing she wouldn’t do for us to make our day a perfect success! Our daughter’s wedding was spectacular, but most of all, it was a day we could truly enjoy. It gave us such confidence knowing that Meg had all of the details carefully planned and under control. (Even when one of the groomsmen accidentally locked his jacket in a church closet five minutes before the ceremony was to begin, Meg was there to take control, and the ceremony started on time!)     One of the best things we did for my daughter’s wedding in mid-Vail on 06/14/2014 was to hire Meg to be our day of coordinator!! She is absolutely wonderful in every way and from the beginning we trusted we were in good hands with her at the helm. You know as soon as you talk to her that she knows everything about weddings, will do everything she can for you, and that the wedding day will be exactly as you have envisioned it. She is super organized, runs a tight ship but does so in a relaxed and fun way. It was obvious all the other vendors enjoyed working with her and they all worked together to make the day so special! She took the initiative to contact all the vendors and made complex arrangements to get our guitarist up the mountain. She also went up to the ceremony site with us a few days before the wedding to review all the plans. She is a very good listener which was very much appreciated!

    I have to say that Meg was a treasure and completely eliminated the anxiety we’d had about all that needed to be done up on the mountain on the day of the wedding while we were in the valley getting ready. Because of her obvious competence, we literally didn’t give it another thought until we got off the gondola to find everything exactly as hoped for. She also took on the task of coordinating the ceremony, which could have been a comedy of errors without her help but was instead beautiful and moving.

    Meg obviously takes joy in her work, gives you her undivided attention, and has the attitude that whatever happens is as important to her as it is to the bride and groom. She was truly a gift on this very important day and comes highly recommended!!

    Meg saved our sanity and helped us execute what our friends and families called the most magical wedding they've ever been to! Planning a destination wedding in 6 months with 130 people is a bit of a challenge but Meg made it all go smoothly. She had wonderful suggestions for vendors we hadn't chosen yet, and was more than willing to help with ANYTHING! She even came back and took our bags to our wedding suite (despite the fact it was 12:30a.m.!) Don't know how we could have done it without her.

    I worked mostly with Meg's associate AK leading up to the wedding, though Meg was also there on the wedding day. We had a day of only wedding coordination package, which was really more like full week of. This was a destination wedding for us and my hubby and I are both pretty type A - we had pretty big expectations and a very particular vision for every aspect of this wedding, so I don't think we were the most laid back clients ever ; ) On the day of the wedding I was completely relaxed and happy knowing that AK had handled and would handle every detail, I wasn't second guessing or worrying about a single thing, which is out of character for me ; ) Everything flowed smoothly, looked perfect, and was a pleasure for guests and for us. I am SO glad we hired them, my husband really didn't think it was necessary to have someone day of and I didn't even realize exactly how much would be involved for them - they did so many things that day that I didn't even think of in advance or realize someone would need to do, and I said about 500 times 'thank god for AK and Meg'. Hiring them was seriously the best decision of our wedding planning process I think! I highly recommend them both
