Above + Beyond
We are at almost at a loss for words as we write this review for Gather + Cheer. Hiring Eva is what took our wedding to the next level. She was always available for questions, concerns, and follow-up. She handled a number of administrative items like organizing transportation, walkthroughs, and other details with our vendors. She also offered irreplaceable suggestions to make the day smoother or to make us and our guests more comfortable. There was so much behind-the-scenes work she did for us, that we're sure we're not aware of most of it. Not only is Eva organized, she is also so kind and relatable which was what we needed through this process. We walked into (and out of!) our wedding day absolutely blown away, and really that is because of Eva. We cannot thank her enough and would recommend her for any planning needs.We are at almost at a loss for words as we write this review for Gather + Cheer. Life Saver.
Eva is hands down incredible. She pulled together a beautiful day-of coordination at the last minute. I will be forever blown away by the talent and kindness that this woman showed us.
I originally tried to coordinate our wedding myself. Bad idea. 😅 Things were piling up and I got so overwhelmed with everything that I decided I needed more help than just my mom. With only a week left, I reached out to Eva and explained the whole situation. She was immediately reassuring and helped calm me down.
By some kind of miracle Eva was free on our day! I felt so much relief when she explained everything she does and then she just started taking things off my list. My stress and anxiety were finally decreasing. Once Eva came on board I felt like I could breathe again. It’s incredible how many small details come up with only a week or two left before the day. Yet Eva handled it all with such grace and professionalism. She contacted all of my vendors and ensured that everyone, including the bridal party, was on the same page. I also gave her my Pinterest board so she knew the look we were going for when setting up decorations on the day of.
When I saw the venue and the way she placed everything, it was surreal because I didn’t think it was possible. But, my vision for our wedding came true because of this incredible woman!
She went above and beyond to ensure that everything was there and all the decorations were exactly how I pictured. It was such a beautiful day, and I actually got to enjoy it! Instead of worrying about how everything looks and coordinating allll the people. Eva is a life saver and I cannot recommend her enough!!!

Eva to the rescue!
I had the pleasure of working with Eva on a styled photoshoot where she was the planner and I was the florist. The morning of the photo shoot I unexpectedly had to go to the emergency room and was completely unavailable to set up any of my flowers at the shoot. Eva was so amazing that she literally drove from Seattle to my house in Sammamish and then to the emergency room parking lot in Issaquah to pick up all the flowers and supplies for the shoot that I had on my front porch and the back seat of my car. A legit savior for my wedding day
I hired Eva from Gather + Cheer as the day of coordinator for my wedding. All interactions were timely, professional and helpful. As the day of coordinator Eva contacted all the vendors to make sure everyone was on board and created a timeline for the big day so everything would go smoothly. When the big day came, my caterers were late and weren't able to set up the tables and chairs and Eva without asking went to work to help set up. During the wedding she let us have our fun while also checking in with us to keep us on our timeline. Eva saved my daughter and my relationship while planning the wedding.
Eva was professional and helpful to us in locating the right vendors for the wedding. She was also very detailed oriented to keep us on track with the next steps. The day of the wedding she oversaw everything and made sure it went so beautifully. And most importantly preserved my daughter and my relationship. You won't regret going with Gather and Cheer! We hired Eva for day of coordination. She was so helpful, extremely responsive, and understanding during all the craziness of juggling our stressful jobs and wedding planning. I think that was definitely a big reason we went with Eva from other coordinators. She takes the time to listen and empathize with where we were at in our planning. It never felt she was imposing anything on us but making thoughtful suggestions giving us the gentle reminders we needed. She pointed out important details we would've definitely missed and kept us on track so that nothing would be missed or forgotten on our big day. She also made sure we were aware and on top of the ever changing COVID requirements as we worked with our vendors. Although we had a small wedding of 20 guests, we wanted to have the full wedding experience (ceremony, reception, afterparty). Eva coordinated with all the vendors and transitioned our guests seamlessly. We had no worries during the day of our wedding because we confident on Eva's preparation and trusted her on the day. Absolutely saved the day!
If you are in any way hesitating on hiring Eva for your wedding planning needs, you need to make the move and make sure she's the one handling your big day. I'm a teacher, and I would never had spent the extra money on a day-of wedding coordinator if my venue hadn't insisted. I was getting married at a golf course that did not have a lot of experience in hosting weddings, and as their inexperience became more apparent, I began to become extremely anxious (I was also planning remotely). Without question, Eva saved my wedding and my sanity. She was able to tell me what was "run of the mill" issues, and which were unique to my venue and got them rectified immediately. She kept things organized and clear, contacting vendors, reminding me of the minutiae that escaped me, and made my wedding day flawless for me. There was not a single issue, and apparently I hired some vendors who did not make that easy. On top of everything, she was personable, professional, and a REAL human being I could communicate unfiltered concerns to. She took it all like a champ. Incredible Children's Space and Details!
Eva took my dream to have a children's space at my wedding and turned it not only into a reality, but something beyond my hopes. There were comfy spaces for kids to rest, books and activities, and the real clincher- individualized gift bags filled with things to keep the little ones entertained and excited! The kids LOVED all the little details, and all the parents commented on how wonderful it was to have available. The kids had a blast, the parents were free to play, and everyone felt special! Eva is the actual BEST
We hired Eva for day of coordination but she went above and beyond. She was so involved with the process, even months ahead of our date; staying on top of vendors, communicating every detail and making sure my husband and I felt heard and got everything we wanted. She didn’t miss one detail (and we had a lot of little touches to remember) Even when it literally hail stormed right before our ceremony she remained calm and proactive and kept checking in with me. It ended up being the most beautiful day and she had a major part in that. I couldn’t recommend her enough to ease the stresses of your big day.
