Franklin Commons went above and beyond any expectations we had for our wedding day. Firstly, it’s such a gorgeous and spacious venue for an extremely reasonable price. Upon first walk-through, we knew it was the spot for us in terms of how much space, food, service you get for the price. There are so many unique touches of the venue, from the courtyard to the rustic nature of the bistro, to my favorite part: the reception room. The windows are epic and made for such gorgeous photos around sundown.
Secondly, the team of Hannah and Kim couldn’t have been more communicative and professional throughout our process. Hannah is an absolute rockstar, and we owe so much of the day’s success to her attention to detail. The servers and waitstaff were also sooo attentive to us throughout the entire night. I can’t say enough about this venue and would recommend it to anyone and everyone! Franklin Commons is forever cemented in our hearts! -

We hosted our daughters wedding at Franklin Commons. I can't say enough about this experience. It started with our initial meeting with Kim, who made us feel so comfortable with her expertise and experience in the wedding industry. The venue space was unique, had so many things included-like beautiful tables, chairs, linens, spaces for cocktail area as well as an outdoor space for a ceremony. Working with Kim & Hannah was amazing. Communication was well received and questions answered within hours. These two ladies helped my daughters vision for her wedding come to life without missing a beat. Additionally the food-Was plentiful, hot & delicious. The presentation was beautiful as well. The servers were eager, kind, pleasant & on point throughout the night. Our daughter and her husband had their own point person who made sure they had everything they needed throughout the reception. He paid attention to every detail, including each of their favorite drinks. The bartending service was excellent and guests were served with efficiency and ease. Our guests went out of their way to tell us how excellent the food and service was at this event. Honestly there is nothing I would have changed for this event & my daughter and her husband agree. Don't hesitate to use this venue for your wedding. You will be happy you did so and walk away feeling like you hit the jackpot!! -

We had such a positive experience at Franklin Commons. Kim and Hannah were so attentive to us leading up to and on the day of. Looking back there is nothing I would change. I had SOO many compliments on the food especially the appetizer hour. The cake provided by Brooklyn Girl bakery was beautiful and delicious. Also if you can upgrade for the espresso martinis during the dessert portion absolutely do it ! We were able to get some great photos, especially out in the courtyard area. I am so happy with our decision to have our wedding at Franklin Commons and I'm sure you will be too! -

We had an incredible experience at Franklin Commons! Hannah and Kim went above and beyond in every aspect of planning and on our wedding day. The food was incredible. Our family and friends still talk about the food. The venue was beautiful and fit our vision perfectly. We can not recommend Franklin Commons enough! -

My husband and I could not have picked a better spot for our October 2023 wedding. We went into wedding planning knowing that we wanted a venue that was “different”. We did not want the farm/barn look or any farmhouse vibe. We walked into Franklin Commons and fell in love. The industrial but yet rustic vibe was perfect. We cannot put into words our gratitude towards the entire staff leading up to the wedding and the day of . Kim and Hannah are truly superstars and make you feel like family. The entire Drexelbrook staff that helped the night of the wedding did an amazing job! They made us feel so important and solved anything we needed in a matter of seconds. Our guests still are raving about the food and atmosphere. The ceremony space outside is intimate and beautiful with so much room for creativity. Hands down the best experience with a venue ! -

We booked Franklin Commons for our wedding in September 2023. We could not be happier with our wedding experience. The venue is beautiful and has an industrial charm that we did not see any where else, and the courtyard was the perfect space for our ceremony. Kim and Hannah made coordinating with the venue and our vendors extremely easy. We would highly recommend hosting an event at Franklin Commons! -

Everything about Franklin Commons was perfect! From our initial tour to our big day, it was all perfect. Hannah and Kim were great to work with, very responsive and were able to provide great advice when needed. The venue was so unique and just what we were looking for. Our guests loved the food and the service was phenomenal. We had our ceremony inside and used the outside area for some gorgeous photos. I would absolutely recommend Franklin Commons again and again! -

The most magical day
Beautiful venue and such a wonderful experience working with the Franklin Commons team. Kim and Hannah were a dream to work with. They took care of my every need! My guests loved Franklin Commons and the food was exceptional. I would recommend this spot because it’s beautiful, great atmosphere, free parking, delicious food, awesome team to work with! -

Picking Franklin Commons as our venue was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We wanted a unique venue with industrial flair in the Philly suburbs. Franklin Commons was the first venue we toured and we immediately knew it was the one. First, Kim is absolutely amazing. From our first meeting all the way through to the end of the wedding, she was on top of every single detail. She is organized, kind, and really makes you feel special as a couple to be part of the Franklin Commons/Drexelbrook family. The package they offer covers just about anything and has a lot of customization options. There are multiple indoor and outdoor spaces, providing peace of mind that there are options for a rain plan. Our guests raved about the hors d'oeuvres, food, and desserts they had, how cool the space was, and how awesome the staff was. I could go on and on about all the fantastic things about this venue. It is a really special place and played a significant role in making our day as perfect as it was. -

Highly Recommend
Our wedding day was like a dream...and we owe so much of that to the Drexelbrook team at Franklin Commons! We knew we were in good hands the second we met Kim, and she did not disappoint. The staff was so accommodating with EVERY request we had through the planning process & on the wedding day. The food was DELISH, and our guests loved every single thing from the cocktail hour taco station, to the entrees! We DIY'ed a ton of our decor and the staff took such great care locking it up the night before and making sure our appointed friends got the set up just right! We felt well taken care of from start to finish...plus the venue itself is unique, photogenic, and just so darn SPECIAL!! Highly recommend! -

From the moment my now-husband and I walked into Franklin Commons back in the beginning of 2020, we knew it was the right venue for our wedding. Its modern industrial style was exactly what we were looking for and we were so pleased with how special it made our big day. We were so fortunate to have booked the venue so far in advance of our 2022 wedding and it sure was worth the wait. We received so many compliments about how cool our venue was and how different it was compared to more traditional venues, and since our wedding was as untraditional as they come, it felt absolutely perfect. The perfect venue combined with the excellent staff and service from Kim Savino and her staff at Drexelbrook Catering and Events, our wedding day was nothing short of perfect. -

This was the perfect venue, everyone commented how much they loved it. You could not ask for a better coordinator than Kim and her assistant Hannah. I was likely a little particular at times and they were so accommodating. The event flowed beautifully, staff was kind and helpful, food was delicious. I truly cannot put into words how perfect this wedding was. First Amy: if there is anyone you want in your corner planning your wedding with you it is Amy. She is prompt, straight forward, kinda, and on top of everything. She made my day flawless. Melissa didn’t let me go empty handed without a drink or food for a second throughout the night. Every single magical detail I described was executed flawlessly. I think Franklin often gets overlooked and for reasons I cannot understand. My friends and family are STILL telling me about the amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere. The portions, the amount of cocktail appetizers, the stations. Everything was spectacular. They all say they have never been to a wedding like it and that it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. I’ve planned my wedding since I was a little girl, and never in any of my dreams was it as amazing as the real thing. If you’re even considering this venue let me save you some time: book it now -

I fell in love with Franklin Commons because it is not your typical country club or barn which I feel is overdone. It’s super modern and has this industrial appeal that I loved. Our coordinator Amy was AMAZING and so helpful. We probably changed plan 3 times and she worked with us because we had to reschedule 3 times because of restrictions. However, we finally were able to push forward and it was so beautiful. The staff are wonderful. Loved my girl Dale. She made sure I ate and drank. The food is truly top-notch! All my gursts still talk about how it was the best wedding food they ever had. More importantly they still talk about the dessert bar option of the waffles and ice cream. My husband still dreams of them. We can’t thank Amy and the staff enough making our day so special! -

Franklin Commons came through for a wonderful group of high school seniors! I was contacted by a committee of moms who wanted to give their kids a prom. And, as a planner, I knew just where to go for a great time. The team at Franklin Commons went beyond the call of duty to be flexible and to make the planning process easy. Every time I contacted them, they were prompt in their response. The evening was a smash hit, the kids had a wonderful time!! Food was great and presented well. Staff was efficient. I would certainly recommend Franklin Commons to clients in the future. And, I know they would be perfect to recommend to my brides. -

I waited way too long to write this review, but I'm a procrastinator at heart. Let me just say, Franklin Commons was BEYOND perfect for our reception! The moment I walked inside and saw it's eclectic, kind of boho, but also classy style, I knew it was what I was looking for. It truly is a space that can be made into what you want. It felt very open but also warm and welcoming if that makes sense. We got many compliments on the space from guests during the cocktail hour. Kim, our contact person, was fantastic to work with! Always available and incredibly responsive when I had a question. She was open to all my ideas and so helpful when I needed guidance. She was just so accommodating and went above and beyond for us! The space looked AMAZING when we got there and they let me and my husband see the banquet room decorated before it was opened to the guests. Fatima and Jamie (and I might be forgetting others names) were so incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating as well. We honestly felt like royalty because they were always there making sure we needed anything. Let's not forget the food, which was FANTASTIC. The amount of hor d'oeuvres during cocktail hour was insane and everyone raved about them. There was never not enough going around, plus we had two food stations (the pad thai and sliders) which were a huge hit. I'm never that crazy about the dinner food at weddings but the meal was honestly so delicious and we received so many compliments there as well! The entire Drexelbrook team and staff were so attentive and professional. For the price, we really feel like we made out. I feel like I could go on and on, but I highly encourage anyone interested to schedule a visit (when able to with this pandemic going on) and feel for yourself how cool and special the space really is. Thank you so much to Kim and the entire Drexelbrook team for the actual most perfect wedding reception I could have hoped for! -

Brittany Sent on 10/17/2015The Franklin Commons was the perfect venue choice for us. Absolutely perfect for any couple seeking an alternative wedding venue with a lot of personality.
I (the bride) used to work for a music organization based there several years ago, but I had never realized they hosted weddings until I started planning my own. While the reception venue (Franklin Hall) may appear bare during the day, it really gives you a LOT of opportunity to express your personal taste through decor choice.
We really tried to utilize the venue's unique character (industrial yet artsy) and color-scheme into our decorations, and the final product truly exceeded our expectations.
Unfortunately it rained all day (and several days prior to) during our wedding, but the staff of Drexelbroom, who operates out of Franklin Commons, was extremely accommodating and helpful transitioning the venue over. The food was incredible, the staff constantly friendly and attentive, and it ended up being the perfect day!
Finally, it is important to note how many compliments we received. Our guests were truly blown away. From the delicious food to the beautiful venue, our guests were raving about the wedding.... And they still are! Our photographer, especially, was so inspired by the venue. She said it was the best wedding shoot she's had to date!

My wife and I recently had our wedding at Franklin Commons with Drexelbrook catering and I can't recommend the venue and company enough. From Kim and Hannah to the rest of the team, it was a great experience and professional from start to finish.
Kim and Hannah were super responsive, always got right back to us and worked with us to make sure every detail was in place. Truly can't think of anything that wasn't accommodated and the set up was perfect for us.
The food was plentiful and tremendous, the staff was fantastic and we had the best time.
Also, Franklin Commons is an incredible venue and offers great bang for your buck. It's super spacious and the outdoor/indoor combo is amazing.
No negatives, all positives! No plans to have another wedding ourselves, but would recommend anyone looking to give Drexelbrook and Franklin Commons a look!
