Fantastic DJ and great friend!

What can I say about Ryan, other than this is the SECOND time my family has hired him to DJ a wedding. I first worked with him in 2015 for my sister's wedding and we had some unusual Scottish traditions that we needed incorporated into the standard wedding line-up. He was 100% able to accommodate any requests and all songs are on the table... if it's a real song, he can find it. This time around for my own wedding, I didn't even contact any other vendors because I knew that Ryan and his company were the PERFECT fit. I needed a TV for a recorded best man speech since ours was deployed overseas with the military and he made it happen. He can read a room and play exactly what your party needs in the moment. He is fast to communicate and always available for a last minute phone call. He also has a photo booth that we rented through him that we had for the ENTIRE night which made it possible for all my guests to visit rather than having a time constraint. It came with a picture guest book that people signed which was such a surprise! You won't be disappointed with Four Star Entertainment I PROMISE!

Fun and professional DJ - great to work with!

Ryan was great to work with at my daughter's wedding. We were in a small venue, and I appreciated his attention to sound levels during the reception and dancing. He did a great job keeping the reception moving, and the dance floor was busy. I would definitely hire Ryan again as he was very professional and responsive. He did a great job for us!

Great DJ Service. Worth every penny.

Four Star Entertainment was worth every penny. He provided worksheets for us to plan every detail of the wedding ceremony and reception. Ryan and his team showed up on time the day of the event and jumped into action setting up the DJ and photo booth. He acted as MC of the reception and was exceptional about coordinating last minute changes with the day-of coordinator. I would hire Four Star again in a heartbeat. Worth every penny. Thanks :)

The music made the wedding!!!

I am so glad we chose Ryan with four star entertainment to DJ! Not only did he run the music for a beautiful ceremony, he kept everyone on schedule and on the dance floor at all times. He worked so well with my wedding coordinator and kept up a great flow throughout the night. I asked for a few different request and he quickly made them happen. He worked well with all our vendors. We had so many people compliment us on the music & DJ. He had a great selection of music and shuffled the genres great! We were glad to have a fellow LV alumni to be part of our day! Highly recommend for any event, he will make it perfect!

Amazing DJ!

Ryan was an amazing DJ for our 20th Anniversary party -- he took a long playlist, and a last-minute first-song change, and kept the dance floor hopping all night!

Four Star did a great job for us

Ryan of Four Star entertainment did a great job for us.
In particular, Ryan met with us prior to the wedding to go over the details of the wedding day and the song list. Ryan was professional at all times and also has a gentleman like demeanor.
He listened to what we were asking him to do, and made recommendations that were excellent.
We made some specific requests that were slightly different than other weddings and Ryan had no problem at all accommodating our needs.
I recommend Ryan and Four Star Entertainment.
He did a great job for our Daughter's wedding and I am sure he will do a great job for you.

Awesome DJ!

Ryan was so great to work with! The music was great and everyone had a blast! Everyone after the wedding said they had never seen that many people dance at a wedding for the entire time! I had a lot of fun and he made our wedding perfect! I would highly recommend him!

Made our special night perfect!

Ryan is amazing! We are so happy we went with Four Star DJ, everything was perfect. Ryan was professional and fun throughout the whole process. On the night of the wedding he read the room perfectly and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. He worked seamlessly with our planner to make sure everything was on time and running smooth. We had so many positive comments from our guest. Highly recommend!!!!

Playlist genious

Our Dj went above and beyond to make the day a success. We dances our asses off. When I had forgot a special dance he jumped right in to take care of it and noone ever knew. He was flexible when we had to change something or go out of order. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful and easy to work with!

We had Ryan DJ our wedding/ceremony on October 13, 2018. He was absolutely wonderful to work with. Very organized and completely on top of everything. Beyond impressed when I went to meet with our wedding planner a week before the wedding only to find out that he had already visited the venue and met with them to go over the details for both our ceremony and reception. Peace of mind is priceless! My husband and I will definitely recommend Ryan to all our family and friends and will use him for future events. Ryan, we cannot thank you enough for being a part of our big day!

AC was our DJ and he was absolutely amazing! He was really engaging with the crowd and was able to get everyone on their feet, some who I've never seen move like that before! He truly is a great entertainer and I wouldn't hesitate recommending him to anyone!

Ryan was the DJ for our wedding, and we were thrilled with the outcome. He kept the crowd engaged and played a great mix of music. He worked hard to ensure that we had a special night and everyone had a good time. Time management was fantastic and he accommodated my wife and I on everything we asked.

Ryan did an amazing job at our wedding. He was so friendly and easy to work with the entire time leading up to the wedding and absolutely killed it on the big day! He had the dance floor packed all night and had the best music. He really made our entire night!

Four Star DJ did an amazing job at our January 27, 2018 wedding. From my first conversation with Ryan, the owner, I knew he was passionate and cared about his job! He came highly recommended by my wedding Coordinator Mitzi Villalobos, from Bride on a Budget Events. I filled out the questionnaire from Ryan, and right away he knew that Antonio would be the best DJ for our wedding. Antonio did such a great job keeping the dance floor full and reading the room. My conversation with Antonio the week of my wedding was that I wanted people to dance and he had full discretion of music. We had mostly older Hispanic family and everyone from my parents to our youngest cousins were dancing all night. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ!!!!!

Ryan was the DJ at my wedding a few weeks ago, and he did a superb job! From our first meeting over the summer, to the week before the wedding, he was always available to communicate and provide recommendations as requested. He played everything I wanted during the ceremony, as well as the reception. We had a small wedding, and it was outdoors (40 degrees), but he still managed to get pretty much everyone out on the dance floor! Ryan really made my day special, and I would recommend anyone to hire him and/or his colleagues at Four Star Entertainment!!

Ok so I'll start off by saying 3 days before my wedding day my DJ quit on me last minute!! I was going crazy had a panic attack, messaged about 5 Djs that I found on here and 3 of them responded. Ryan caught my attention because he immediately called me and asked what exactly I needed and explained everything very thoroughly, he then mentioned he had someone that was available for the wed day, antonio would be our DJ for the night and he would call me to see if I had any questions. Not only did we stay on the phone for 1 hour but he was so specific and helpful on everything!!! I even got to meet Ryan the day after because he wanted to make sure I had an adapter so antonio can play my slideshow during dinner so he lent me his! (WHICH WAS AWESOME OF HIM!) 3 days later , antonio gets there about 4 hours early sets up and PLAYS ALL THE MUSIC THAT I specifically wanted for my ceremony, & reception. I could not thank them both enough!! Everyone complimented my DJ for the music he played all night! Everyone said they had a blast! His pricing was great as well! Thank you so much you all did a fantastic job. I couldn't thank you enough!

Ryan was FANTASTIC! We had a great time at our wedding, and Ryan definitely contributed greatly to that! He is an excellent DJ, and just wants your event to run smoothly and be as fun as possible. As the daughter of a pretty great wedding DJ, I consider myself a tough critic to please, but Ryan easily won me over with his friendly personality and professional service. He also did a very nice job of blending our musical taste with that of our guests. I highly recommend Ryan for your party entertainment needs!

We were so happy to find Four Star DJ for our wedding. They spent a long time on the phone with us to go over the contract and details before we even booked them, then met with us at the convenience of our schedule to talk in person about what we wanted for our wedding. The DJ was great, punctual, handled possible rainy weekend situation with aplomb and handled wedding hiccups like a mother that refused to dance and a piñata that refused to break with grace and flexibility. A job very well done!

Four Star DJ was awesome! AC was so helpful and did such a great job. He did a great job with the list that we gave and then "read" the crowd and played what our guests wanted to hear. The process was easy, we were given a form to fill out with our favorites and songs that we would like played at certain times. AC then contacted me and we went over my list and the time line for the night, the rest was up to him! Thank you for a great night of music!

We loved our DJ Ryan - everything from the first meeting in getting a feel for who we are to keeping our reception on pace and making quick, smart adjustments as the night went on. Great value! Your wedding day is about making memories and having a great time. Ryan and his company will see that that happens at the reception. Give him the direction you want him to go and he goes above it. You can tell he has been doing this for a while and loves what he does. Having a great DJ is what leads to a great wedding reception! Ryan kept our guests on the dance floor alllllll night long. Our friends said "best wedding ever" & "such a festive reception". Lots of credit goes to Ryan for the fun time! I would definitely book him again :-)

Four Star Entertainment was our DJ for our wedding reception at Sisterdale Dancehall. Ryan was extremely thorough with planning and making sure you have everything that you need. He providers you with paperwork to complete to turn into him about the timeline of your wedding, song requests, and special songs to have played. We had a magical wedding and it was everything we could have dreamed of!

Ryan Schroeder-Four Star Entertainment was the DJ at my daughter’s wedding in March at Bella Springs. We had been on the fence about who to hire for the entertainment until we personally met and talked with Ryan at a wedding fair at the Cana Ballroom. All of our questions and fears were set aside and we knew right then that we had found our DJ. Ryan answered several emails promptly over the next several months and worked with us to setup the perfect flow for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner hour and dance. We even threw a surprise at him last minute, because several friends decided to hire a mariachi group to crash the wedding for the last hour before their sendoff. Ryan was so receptive and was happy to accommodate the change. He was on time, professional and a fantastic announcer. Hire Ryan Schroeder with Four Star Entertainment and you will not be disappointed.

I would just like to say Thank You Ryan for having AC be the DJ at our wedding! He was THE BEST!! At our wedding the kids did most of the dancing and he was wonderful! Anything that anyone requested he gladly played it and kept everyone going! He was so nice and everything was great! All the music for the ceramony was right on time and what I asked for! I will definitely be recommending them to anyone and everyone.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Four Star Entertainment, and specifically Ryan. We had such a great time dancing to all the music and he played exactly the kind of music we discussed prior to the wedding day. He was always available to contact ahead of time to discuss details of the reception and was very professional the day of the wedding. We couldn't be happier with the way things turned out. I would absolutely recommend Ryan to anyone! He was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout the planning process, answering all of my questions without a problem. On the big day, Ryan was a fantastic DJ. He was well spoken (not obnoxious at all!) , friendly, upbeat, and played great music. We all had a blast on the dance floor! Ryan was awesome! Very professional and very willing to work with our eclectic musical tastes, and helped us get just the right ceremony music that we wanted (which was somewhat obscure). Ryan was amazing to work with and nothing but professional. He was friendly and informative at our first meeting, and we signed him right there. He worked with us to amend our services at the last minute, adding a lapel mic for the officiant literally a day or two before the event. He played almost every single song that was requested by the guests, and everyone had such a great time. Everything was seamless and I would most definitely recommend his services to anyone.

We could not have chosen a better DJ service! Ryan promptly met with us and set us up with Alexander Stout who DJ'd our wedding--tailored just as we wanted! Alex set up 2 hours in advance and patiently worked with us during some ceremony issues we had and did an amazing job. I would (and will) recommend Four Star DJ to anyone I know needing DJ services. From first contact to final farewell, Ryan from Four Star DJ was the consummate professional. The company website makes it incredibly easy to check the availability for your date, and contact is quickly established to hammer out the details. Every email, phone call and face-to-face discussion was relaxed, easy and there is absolutely no pressure put on you to do what the DJ wants: it's all about what you want for your wedding, and not many DJs are that easy going.

I met Ryan at a wedding fare at the venue for our wedding (he came up from San Antonio to New Braunfels just to meet and talk!!!), he showed me the equipment the company uses (top of the line BOSE sound system: looks small, delivers BIG!), gave me options for extras (use the uplights... they're a beautiful addition), and talked about what we wanted played or not. The contract is clear, concise and fair, and the additional forms for you to fill out nearer to the date are a huge benefit.

Included in the forms are plenty of options for you and your reception, you can request certain songs or to have certain songs/genres not played at all; you can create your own playlist, set up a song request page for your guests (which you then pass on to Ryan), they'll do the ceremony as well... basically, whatever you want is exactly what you get.

As for the cost: it is very reasonable indeed, I don't regret a penny of it. Using Ryan and Four Star DJ was easy, efficient, economical and could not have been better. Choosing a DJ for your wedding is a big decision, so try to make it as easy as possible and just go with Ryan and Four Star DJ. You won't regret it!

Ryan is awesome!!!!!! Our guests at our wedding had a blast! Every single person was on the dance floor at least once even those who don't dance!! Great music choices! Excellent DJ. Many compliments from the wedding guests on Steve. Ryan the owner met with us on very short notice, just a month before the wedding as our planned DJ, fell through. That was probably the best thing that could have happened! These guys were excellent and I highly recommend them!

Ryan was a most excellent DJ!!! He was set up and ready ahead of time and was so professional but very friendly to everyone there. He is very good at speaking and helped me get the crowd to move to another area for a surprise fireworks show without them realizing what was happening!! The volume of the music was perfect!!!

Ryan was our DJ and he did a phenomenal job! He was extremely flexible, and worked with us over the phone because we couldn't come into town. He understood exactly what kind of music we liked, and did a great job offering the variety we were looking for. Also, he had a very creative way to get people on the dance floor!! Ryan was totally amazing!! This was the best DJ service I have ever encountered!! He was such a sweet and personable guy. my fiancé and I litterally sat and just talked with him for 2 hours about life. Ryan with Four Star Entertainment was our DJ for our wedding in New Braunfels, Texas a couple weeks ago. When we first met Ryan back in February, we felt so comfortable with him that we did not even want to meet with another DJ before booking him. Ryan is passionate about what he does and it is not just about making money, he truly enjoys what he does.
The day of the wedding Ryan showed up really early to ensure he did his part to make sure everything was ready to go and prepared/working correctly. We had a couple of song choices that had different versions of them and not one mistake was made on Ryans part of selecting the correct version. Ryan kept things very organized as well as entertaining. He did a great job of feeling out the crowd to make sure our dance floor was never empty. Highly recommend Four Star Entertainment as it was worth every penny.

Ryan is the best! I am so glad I went with him when I hired a DJ. He did an amazing job at my wedding. My husband and I were extremely pleased! He made us always feel at ease and could trust him in the selection of the music played for the ceremony and the reception and he did a perfect playlist for my reception. A close friend of mine told me at the reception the music/playlist I picked was awesome and I told her it was all Ryan. He selected the perfect music just from our conversations. Ryan was great! My husband and I met him at a Starbucks and he made a wonderful first impression. He brough binders with all of his music selections, and anything he didn't have, he bought from itunes for us (we had a few sort of indie requests that he accomodated). Very professional, easygoing, and intent on making the music match our tastes. He has sheets for you to fill out with your timeline, songs you'd like to hear for specific events, etc, which made planning very easy. Ryan was unable to DJ our wedding due to surgery, so he had his mentor, Freddie, take his place. He has a great voice, got everyone dancing, and made the reception even more fun. The music he played was perfect, from the ceremony processionals to the last song of the night. Because we had made a timeline together prior to the event, Freddie made all the announcements at the right times and we didn't have to constantly run up to him saying 'ok, now we're ready to cut the cake, ok, now we're going to do the father daughter dance, etc.' This was especially helpful since we didn't use a wedding coordinator. This DJ came highly recommended from ZSR entertainment, who informed me that Ryan is the ONLY DJ in SA that he would personally recommend. I would say the same!

I found Four Star DJ through reviews. I met with Ryan and really liked his personality and his time to answer all my questions. I met with one other DJ and chose to go with Ryan. Ryan and I talked a few times before the wedding to make sure we were on the same page with the timeline and the different songs. On the day of the wedding, Ryan was wonderful! He played great music and had my guests dancing, some I didn't think would be on the dance floor! We even had a song request last minute, and Ryan found it right away to play it! Do yourself a favor and book Four Star Entertainment. Ryan and AC were awesome and very easy to work with. I had so many people telling me how great the DJ was afterwards. AC did such a great job as MC, especially considering we didn't plan out the exact logistics very well. He knew how to read the moment and the crowd and play the best music to keep things going. I was worried before the reception started that no one would dance, and by the end of the night, I didn't want to leave because we were all having so much fun. Thanks for everything!

Great experience! Met them at the wedding extravanganza and they did a really great job!!! Was a little worried about communication in the beginning, but after a while we got it ironed out and the wedding and music was fantastic! Way better priced than most other djs out there and got exactly what I wanted :).

Bad experience

I called the dj hired him for my event. Sent him a 300.00 check and then he said it bounced due to insufficient funds made me feel uncomfortable wanting to report me to authorities thinking I am fraudulent. Don’t let this ever happen to you..
