I had my wedding here, Mary could not be more accommodating. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Grand ballroom is beautiful inside and out. My evening went off without one problem or concern. Absolutely everything taking care of. If you need anything 1 word to staff and it's resolved. They recommend caterers that are fabulous, they will give you a list for your bar caterers, they help you out with transportation and local hotels they go above and beyond at Four Rivers. I would give 6 ⭐️ if I could.

Fantastic Venue!
Had my wedding October 5th 2024. It was fantastic! I got the reception and ceremony package for $3000 which is pretty frugal. Mary and Kylee were very helpful through the whole process and accommodated needs for guests. Bridal suite was nice and provided free water and towels. The venue was stunning in autumn, especially at night with the string lights and boats on the river. The venue provides tables and chairs for the reception (and has high chairs for young kids). The gallery is open as well which is great to be if you want a break from the dancing. The one thing I wish they had was chairs for the ceremony space, the rental place we got them from didn’t set them up and my poor uncle and one of my florists assistants was stuck with the work of setting them up and taking them down. (Not sure if it’s in their contract to set them up, if it is they really screwed up).
Overall fantastic venue! You don’t need to go all out on decor, because it was beautiful already.

Wonderful and seamless experience.
We would choose Four Rivers all over again. Everything about the venue is gorgeous and we specifically chose it since we are outdoorsy people. The sunset in the Grand Hall was perfect for our ceremony. The lighting, sound, beauty and coziness made our November wedding "epic" for us and our guests. The staff were extremely accommodating on the day of the wedding, especially with our autistic nephew who was struggling to stay because of the loud noises. They offered him a kit, which included headphone and within seconds of putting those on, he exhaled into his calm and stayed for hours. I love that we were able to have our wedding and reception all in the same room and our guests were even more delighted with this convenience.

Spooky Masquerade Wedding
Mary and her team helped us with our dream wedding every step of the way. She gave us ideas on how to plan our day and she accommodated us with every last minute emergency request we had. The night turned out to be everything we wanted and more. Most of guests didn't even know the area existed and loved the natural beauty of the center. We highly recommend Four Rivers.

Spooktacular Halloween Wedding
We had such an enchanting experience at Four Rivers Environmental Education Center! The location is elegant and beautiful where we turned it into The Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween Wedding Town. Our family, friends, and guests, had such a magical, spooky, eerie, and mysterious time! We would highly recommend this facility for weddings and other party events.

Rustic Wedding "dream come true"
It was a perfect day for a wedding! Sunny and in the 80's. The ceremony/shelter area was absolutely gorgeous with the trees and water views. At the time of the reception the warm sun made the dining hall very warm, but the venue was quick to drop the shades and add a few large fans for our comfort. At night it was just perfect with scenic outdoor patio and twinkling lights. It was my dream wedding come to life!

We had such a wonderful experience at Four Rivers! The location was beautiful, having the flexibility of the ceremony being inside or outside was such a win! Staff was wonderful and very easy to work with. Price is very affordable and overall a great deal.
Con: having to rent chairs for an outside ceremony, only being able to decorate and setup within the 10 hours of it being rented. We had awesome family and friends willing to help decorate and set up @ 2 PM the day of the wedding. However, this was incredibly stressful as the bride and if someone does not have extra help they will need to hire a wedding planner.

Beautiful Venue!
Thank you so much to all of the staff who helped make our wedding day so beautiful! Our ceremony was indoors and overlooked the river. Everything was as we had imagined and requested. Eagle watch
The staff is absolutely fantastic. They had an Eagle Event today. Last year about 600 people showed, this year 1200 people were there by noon. The staff didn't fold, cave or show any signs of being overwhelmed. They added tours, smiled and made it a great experience full of knowledge and fun. My tour guide Alexis was awesome we saw an Eagle on the start and there were 2 on the way back. Your team is great!!!!!!

Four Rivers Environmental Education Center
In January of 2019 we were able to attend an open house with the venue, meet with vendors, look over different decoration styles, and book our date. It was so convenient and the location is beautiful. The whole area is a forest preserve with beautiful scenery for the perfect wedding photos and for the best day. What I really love about this venue is that you get to rent the place for 12 hours and it is for only your wedding making your special day even more special and intimate to enjoy with all your loved ones. Also the venue is all natural wood beams and elegant with very few decorations needed to make it gorgeous for your day. I cannot wait to celebrate our day here.

If you are looking for a fantastic venue for an outdoor wedding with a onsite reception, then this is the place! Great venue
We had no idea this facility existed until our wedding search. The site is beautiful, and can easily suit many different needs. We used the shelter for our ceremony, and moved into the hall for our reception. We couldn't have asked for a better venue!
The price is very affordable, and the staff (especially Mary) were great to work with. I would highly recommend Four Rivers! The only drawback for us was that they have a list of preferred caterers. Overall, we still absolutely loved our venue.

I could not have picked a better wedding venue, it was such an amazing event. The staff at Four Rivers is so helpful and we’re willing to help with anything they could. Leading up the wedding, I was able to get in a couple times with someone and walk the venue to get an idea of decorations. The venue itself is beautiful and perfect if you are looking for a rustic theme for your wedding. We loved Four Rivers and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Perfect Venue
We had a wonderful wedding at Four Rivers. The space and land is absolutely stunning, and the area is nice and secluded. The grounds and building are kept very nice and everything is clean. I can’t say enough good things about the staff - they are attentive, helpful, and have a wonderful eye for detail. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a small-medium sized wedding (no more than 150 guests allowed) that wants to be in nature.

Love this place!
I have always wanted an outdoor wedding but we all know how our Illinois weather can be. This place has that outdoor feel with the luxury of the indoors. The huge windows give full views of the beautiful landscape and the river. The staff was very tentative throughout the whole night, Cylee and Lynn were awesome! Everyone loved the food from caterer we chose. Huge bridal room for you and all your girls to get ready. Wouldn't change a thing!

Love Four Rivers!
My husband and I had a destination wedding but decided to have a reception at Four Rivers to celebrate with all our family and friends. When we were looking at venues to book the first thing I noticed was that the staff was so quick to respond. I was quickly able to tour the facility and talk details with the staff. Believe me when I say they make everything so easy! I only had to visit once and they gave me a packet of all the information I needed. I booked that day without touring anywhere else. The list of caterers they offer is great, and everyone loved the caterer we chose! The banquet room is absolutely gorgeous at night with the wood, windows, water view, and lighting. Everything was set up perfectly and the staff was so helpful the day of making sure everything went smoothly! I loved that they had a bridal room with a big bathroom for myself and the wedding party to use and freshen up in. The property they are located on in is beautiful! All my guests could not stop talking about how pretty of a venue it was! I'd book them 1,000 times over again!

First of all, thank you to the staff of Four Rivers for helping make it such a memorable day. From the beginning the staff was responsive to our emails and calls. They offered suggestions regarding decorations and set-up for the wedding ceremony and reception. The day of the wedding the staff was wonderful. They were always available and on top of all our needs. The help given with the reception set-up is greatly appreciated. The bride’s room is quite large, lockable and has its own bathroom. It made getting ready so much easier. Everything flowed wonderfully from the ceremony at the Pavilion to the reception in the hall. Outside and by the fireplace made for great photos. Our guests commented on how beautiful it is at Four Rivers.

The venue is reasonably priced considering comparable venues, and the location is stunning. So many great opportunities for pictures! The staff was super helpful and accommodating - they even allowed us to come in and decorate before our rental period because they did not have any events booked the day before our wedding. We had such a great time at Four Rivers. It is absolutely beautiful and we had many compliments about it. We had the ceremony under the shelter and reception was held in the grand ball room. The staff is wonderful to work with. They truly care about you and are extremely helpful and want to make sure your day is extra special. I really enjoyed working with Mary and Victoria. On the day of, she coordinated with my vendors to ensure everything went off without a hitch. It was such a stress free day thanks to the staff at Four Rivers and our other vendors. The food was delicious, and the wait staff was friendly and prompt. We received so many compliments on how unique our wedding venue was. It was a beautiful day all around!

This venue is absolutely stunning!! I booked it as soon as I could since it fit our personalities perfectly. The guest services coordinator is very wonderful to work with. I attended an open house in January/February before I booked and again a year later which was incredibly helpful! The preferred caterers come to talk with visitors and the venue has many decorating ideas as well. There are many great places for pictures and very accessible for guests who are limited physically. It rained on our wedding day but I felt at peace knowing that there was a back up plan. Fortunately, we never had to use it! Would recommend this place in a heartbeat to others!!

Four Rivers was a wonderful spot for our May wedding. We wanted something outdoorsy but handicap accessible for elderly relatives. We were able to have a lovely outdoor ceremony and then move right inside for our reception. We were blessed with some great weather, but I felt comfortable with a solid "plan B" to move inside if that hadn't been the case. When we were initially looking for venue spaces, Four Rivers was a little pricier than we anticipated given it was just for the space. However, Mary and the staff really provided top notch service, and I felt the cost was well worth it in the end. The bridal room was very nice to get ready in beforehand. The staff coordinated with our other vendors and were on site the whole day to ensure everything went as planned. Our wedding went perfectly, and I was really able to relax and enjoy our day.

This venue was absolutely perfect and everything I was looking for! I wanted an outdoor fall reception, but knew it was out of the question with our unpredictable Chicagoland weather. Then I found Four Rivers. The Grand Hall has gorgeous views of the river and forest preserve and we instantly knew this is where we wanted to have our wedding. Aside from the cold and windy outdoor ceremony (which I chose to keep outside instead of bringing it indoors), the day was everything I could have hoped for! The hall had a very cozy feel after sunset. A few of our recently married guests had said they wished they knew about this place when they were planning their wedding.
Mary Thomas is extremely helpful with any questions you may have. She offers a lot of suggestions for things if you get stuck on something in the planning process. She really knows what she's doing! When I stopped in to look at the flowers the day before the wedding, our florist said "You are the calmest bride I've ever seen!" A big part of that was because I felt very at ease after talking with Mary and our caterer earlier in the week to finalize all of the details.
I loved the privacy of the venue. A lot of places that we looked that had a comparable environment were overrun with people either visiting or part of multiple weddings taking place that day. The price to rent the hall, shelter, and bridal room (a classroom with a private bathroom) was very low compared to most venues in the area which was a huge plus! They also had very reasonably priced caterers on their approved caterer list.
If you are even slightly interested in this venue, go see it in person! I can't say enough how beautiful it is and how great the staff was!

I love everything about this venue! It helped that it was an absolutely beautiful fall day. 75 and Sunny! No humidity. But even if the weather was bad, it would still be a great facility. Everything was so easy. From the first point of contact, to the end of our wedding night, Mary was spectacular. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We got married under the pavilion. It was perfect. The grounds are so well maintained. The building and hall are so clean and updated! I would HIGHLY recommend getting married here. It is so much better than having a wedding at a traditional banquet hall! Everything was perfect!!!!

Our wedding reception was everything we had hoped for and more. The venue is so beautiful and unique, our guests are still commenting on how nice it was. We loved how the building is full of recycled materials it inspired us to create beautiful recycled and environmentally friendly decor and favors, saved us a lot of money and looked great. The pictures are breathtaking. The water and trees in the background are perfect for nature loving couples like ourselves. Our caterer was Uncle Bub's and they took such great care of us throughout the planning process as well, they gave great recommendations and made everything a breeze. The whole experience from the first meeting with Mary to the actual wedding day was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and better people to work with.

I cannot say enough good things about this facility and the staff who run it. From the first phone call that I placed when I began planning until the time that the last of us left after my reception, their service was professional, pleasant, helpful and encouraging. I believe it to be one of the best if not the best value in the Chicago area. The facility itself is gorgeous, clean, and eco-friendly. We had our ceremony and reception in the Illinois River Grand Hall, but there is also an outdoor pavilion and a patio that we didn't utilize due to the weather. The possibilities are many. You can decorate as much or as little as you wish and the facility will be lovely no matter what you do. There is a lot of flexibility in terms of set-up because the Grand Hall is so large. You really should check it out before you sign on the dotted line with any other site.

We just recently got married this month, and I have to say that I loved my wedding venue! Mary was always most helpful with everything and though we did encounter a hiccup during our reception with the water not working, it was just water under the bridge (no pun intended! lol) because we still love Four Rivers! Everyone asked about how we found Four Rivers and really it was just a search online and by dumb luck, but I could not have been happier! I wanted something other than a traditional banquet hall and this was it. It was pretty local to us and just a beautiful venue. I can't wait to see our pictures! My husband and I just got married there on Friday night! We were so happy with all that Mary did for us! She was quick responding to all of my emails and calls, and they were so accommodating for anything we needed! It is the MOST BEAUTIFUL place to have a wedding and reception! So many people kept coming up to me saying, "How did you find this place? It's so gorgeous and tucked away!" The landscape is beautiful!!! If you are looking for a change from the normal gaudy chandelier and nasty old smelly carpet, looking for something more modern you have to check this place out.
Mary and the entire Four Rivers Staff was amazing! They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are great to work with very professional but down to earth people. We received so many compliments the day of the wedding regarding the location. As it was getting closer and closer to the wedding our family wanted to keep going out there to take a look at the grounds every time we would go the staff was always so nice and kind, we never felt we were a bother. I love love love this place and would recommend it to friends and family. Wish I could work there that’s how amazing it was I can go there every day!

WOW is the best word that can sum up our feeling about the Four Rivers and their staff. At the beginning of the search for a venue, we wanted something different. We didn't want the standard banquet hall or hotel setting; we just couldn't put our finger on the different we wanted. After a random Google search, I emailed the venue and right away received a quick response from Mary in regards to an open house that the venue would be hosting. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot, I was just taken away from the beauty of the area and the customer service that Mary offered( after being on the phone with me for 15 minutes because I was lost) The day of our wedding was one of the best moments of our lives. Mary, along with the staff for the day, went above and beyond to assist us and all of our guests. I love looking at our wedding pictures as it captures us and the establishment in the most perfect way!!

I loved Four Rivers since the moment I walked in for the first time, I wanted something different not the typical banquet hall and Four Rivers gave me all of that. The views are great and they allow for beautiful photos. The staff was wonderful, they answered all of my emails very quickly. The day of the event they were there to answer any questions and make sure things ran smoothly. The day before Tina was very accommodating in helping us set up. Overall Four Rivers is an awesome place to have your wedding if you are looking for something unique. Also my guests loved it and kept asking me how did you find this place? It's beautiful.

We fell in love with Four Rivers upon searching for an outdoor ceremony site with indoor reception for our June wedding. The ceremony shelter is simple, rustic and overlooks the river. We loved that it was covered in the event of rain. We lucked out and had a gorgeous day, sunny and 85! (Thank goodness!) We booked a year in advance and selected a Friday since all Saturdays in June were booked. I contacted the staff throughout the year with questions and they were so helpful! They were helpful in selecting our caterer, hotel reservations and shuttle service for our guests. They grounds and building are absolutely beautiful. I LOVE LOVE the A-frame windows of the banquet room that overlooks the patio and river. The simple, rustic style of the building is so beautiful, that we didn't not have to over decorate to acheive an elegant look. We decorated with burlap, mason jars, babys breath and lanterns which complimented the room beautifully. The bride's room was wonderful. We had hair/make-up artists come to the site and were all able to get ready together! The day of our wedding went so smoothly thanks to the help of Tina and Mary! They jumped right in and helped out beyond what they needed to. I am absolutely grateful and impressed with the service they provided! I love everything about Four Rivers and would love to return for a future event!

When we started looking for a wedding venue we knew we wanted something unique. We didn't want the typical banquet hall. We looked at one location prior to going to Four Rivers, but after seeing Four Rivers we knew that was the place. It's a very private area, we didn't have to worry about dealing with other people walking through our wedding. The area is beautiful and the staff was amazing from the minute we met.
Through the whole planning process the ladies at Four Rivers were amazing to work with. Any question I had they would answer. I must have sent one hundred emails to them and they responded quickly to every one. They were very helpful in figuring out a time line for the wedding day and helping make sure everything ran smoothly that day.
Our wedding day was perfect, everything went as planned. We received so many compliments from our guests about how great Four Rivers was.
You can't beat the cost and what you get for your money is truly worth it. Unlike a typical banquet hall with Four Rivers there is no middle man, you work one-on-one with your vendors, which may seem like a lot of work but in the end it saves you money. We were able to negotiate with vendors directly, which saved us in the end.
Thank you to everyone at Four Rivers for making our wedding day such a memorable event. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a unique, fun venue.

We were searching for venues for months and just could not find one that fit our outdoor style, price, and could accommodate bringing a caterer we wanted. I was about to pull my hair out. We looked Cantigny park, the Narnia estate, Brookfield Zoo, Wilder Park & Mansion, Elk Grove Village Park District The Garden Terrace, Anderson Japanese Gardens, Fabyan Japanese Gardens, and about 50 other beautiful but just not right venues. When was about to give up, i went searching for caters that have worked in forest preserves or public parks or backyards and that's where i found four rivers. It turns out we jet ski at the marina on the same river and never knew it was there.
This place is beyond amazing, very reasonable, and willing to with work you. Amazing staff especially Laura, the coordinator we had. WOW is what my guest kept saying, just WOW!!
the place really fit us as a couple and it was great to be in a place where there is only 1 wedding going on, its quite, and extremely beautiful. I couldn't say enough about four rivers i even had a friend think it was so amazing that she asked for their contact info to plan her family party .

The staff at 4 Rivers was exceptional!! They were very helpful with set up, they contacted a vendor we had issues with and solved the issue. My husband and I envisioned an outside wedding and after just a week of searching, found Four Rivers online. We visited and fell in love immediately. We planned to have our ceremony outside under a pavilion overlooking the river on Memorial Day weekend, and reception inside in the Illinois River Grand Hall.
Laura was incredibly helpful every step of the way and made suggestions for other vendors who, as it turns out, were also awesome to work with.
When we woke up on our wedding day, the skies were overcast and storms were predicted all day. After getting ready and arriving to make the final preparations, thunderstorm and hail warnings were on for the entire area.
My husband and I could not be more calm. We decided to have the ceremony indoors and move the reception tables aside. Turns out the chairs we rented were late - so Laura had their chairs set up for the ceremony. It was beautiful, and to be honest, I didn't even know the difference.
We moved the cocktail hour to the foyer, which was plenty of room, and the catering staff rearranged the chairs and tables for our reception. Our guests were so impressed with the last minute changes and we still receive compliments on how well everything turned out.
So many things could have easily gone wrong but Laura and our caterer made every effort to make our day so special and so perfect, and we could not be more grateful to them!

We were very happy with Four Rivers and working with Laura. The venue was beautiful and perfect for our fall wedding. The grounds were so amazing for pictures, and having the entire center to our party just added to the intimacy of our day.
It is a little far to get to, but you can have the ceremony and reception in the same place. The cost to rent out the hall is VERY reasonable and they allow you to bring in your own catering and alcohol as long as they get approval. We brought in Chef By Request in Naperville which was a really great way to save money and have delicious food.
What the distance from Chicago lacks the center makes up for with charm, personality, budget savings and a great staff. Our wedding was so lovely there.

My husband and I got married outside at the outdoor pavilion. We had our ceremony in the grass area looking at the river and I used the fireplace as my aisle. Then we had our reception under the pavilion. It was everything I could have imagined. When my husband and I looked at it the previous summer, I instantly knew this was the place for us. The venue was gorgeous, the weather was gorgeous, the scenery was amazing, and the staff was very accommodating.
Mary Thomas was great to deal with. She answered all of our questions right away through email or telephone. She never left us hanging in the dark about anything. She allowed us to rent out the classroom for a few hours the night of our ceremony (which we ended up not needing), but the classroom was very nice. If you definitely think you would use it, I would highly recommend the room. Very large bathroom (great for a big dress), lots of room for a huge bridal party, especially a good room to use if you are waiting for dinner to start and your introductions.
The only down fall about having the whole wedding and reception outside was the outdoor bathrooms. Some of my guests said the women's bathroom was pretty dirty, everyone started using the men's bathroom. If you aren't a fan of outhouses then having the reception outside might not be for you.
In the end, my husband and I, and all of our guests, were so happy with this place. It was the most beautiful wedding (I might be a little bias) I have been to in a long time. I love the beauty of the nature. Oh yeah, it was great for children; they had an amazing time running up and down the hill next to the pavilion.

The moment we saw Four Rivers we knew it was the place for our wedding ceremony and reception (and we saw it in February in the dead of winter)! We had our ceremony under the Four Rivers Shelter overlooking the river. It was so beautiful it took my breathe away. The reception hall has the rustic, homey look that we wanted. The attached patio was perfect and everyone enjoyed the option to step outside for a few minutes to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery. Our friends and family are still raving about how amazing the location was.
Mary was so helpful. Sometimes she may not be in the office to respond that day, but she always would respond as soon as she was able. Mary and Melissa were so helpful and they both really stepped up and helped when a few things went wrong. We are so grateful!
The rental fee is reasonable and makes Four Rivers unmatched in terms of how great the location and service is along with value. Because Four Rivers is not a banquet hall be prepared to have to piece together things separately (caterer, flowers, etc), but in my opinion it was totally worth it because it allowed us to make our wedding completely our own. If you are looking for a unique, but classy space that incorporates nature, please consider Four RIvers for your wedding and plan a visit- you will not regret it!

Cozy Christmas Reception
Four Rivers was the perfect choice for our Christmas-time reception. The beautiful grounds and the architecture of the building provided a perfect setting. Kylie helped us with all the details and everything went smoothly. She and the other staff were great! The rental was affordable. Everything was so wonderful the day of and we are so happy that we chose Four Rivers!

Four Rivers is a beautiful facility for a wedding. We held our ceremony at the shelter and our reception at the Grand Hall. So many compliments were received of the beauty of the facility. We also used Cutting Edge Catering - an approved vendor through Four Rivers and also received many of compliments on the wonderful taste of the food we selected - which was very important to us. The staff at Four Rivers is excellent, professional and have been working with bridal parties for quite a long time as they seem to know every question I came to them with. Some might think the cost is high for the rental but for us, knowing that the money we spent will go back into the county in which we live and be put back into this beautiful facility that was built environmentally friendly and is used for educational purposes, that was key for us. So not only did our money rent the facility it will now pay it forward for other activities within the facility. Renting the entire facility out was also key, it allowed us to decorate on our own time when we were ready and have more time to relax on the big day!

Beautiful, DIY Wedding Venue
My wedding at Four Rivers on 9/21/19 was a dream come true. I could not speak more highly of the Four Rivers staff, Mary Thomas, and the venue in general. Guests were generally very pleased with the location and the ambiance. Staff was very helpful and responsive to questions and messages. It is such a beautiful location. My only caveat is that it is not a true wedding venue as it is part of the forest preserve, so it is not an all inclusive type of service. Many vendors and decorations, extras need to be sought after separately. I do not say that to take anything away from the venue, as I would still highly recommend them and give them 5 stars. This is something I knew going into my contract with Four Rivers but if you want "easy", then this is not the place for you. I was able to seek out many vendors, services, and special touches that truly made my wedding personalized, but also took a lot of extra work and money. Nevertheless, I loved my decision to have my wedding here and think the staff are all amazing!

Let me just say! I held my wedding at the outdoor pavilion and it was more than amazing! The weather treated me well, 80 and sunny! I had the ceremony off to the side in the grassy area and rented all the necessities for the pavilion area. I could fit up to 200 guests (tight) but they fit and the surrounding area was beautiful. I had multiple people telling me it was the most beautiful wedding they ever been to. The only issue I had was getting into contact with the people on site and they almost forgot to turn my lights on before it went dark. I had to have my wedding coordinator drive around and look for the on-site attendant, whom she found just in the nick of time before dusk. All in all I am very pleased with the location. It is a diamond that no one has found! Thank you Four Rivers!!

A Perfect Day in a Beautiful Landscape
We knew early on we wanted to do a forest preserve wedding or something like that. We looked at some other ones and they were similar but really sold us was the location. I wanted a forest preserve that I thought I would and could visit in the future. I think with the Education Center and I could see me bringing my future family there. Comparatively for a venue it is generally on the cheaper side than a wedding venue only place. However it will require more planning on your part since it requires you to plan a lot of parts to make the day come together. Which leading up to the event was stressful to get everything lined up but I think it allows for more freedom than most venues. I had a wonderful day and wouldn't change a thing, but I would say it was more of a DIY experience for a wedding.

A Beautiful Space!
Four Rivers was a beautiful place to host our wedding! We received so many compliments on the space, and many of our guests said that they'd be returning to the park for the walking/bike paths. Mary was a great person to work with, and she was very responsive to emails, phone calls, and meetings to go through all of the details. This was especially helpful during the ever-changing COVID restrictions!
One challenge we had was in getting specific details on the planned construction on the venue and whether it would affect our event. While it can of course be difficult to know those types of things, it took an extra visit to the space in order to learn the actual timeline and where the construction would take place. This caused some unneeded additional stress as our wedding neared.
Another thing to keep in mind is that this venue is part of the Will County government, which does mean that they are pretty strict when it comes to sticking to all of the details. Overall, though, I would still highly recommend this venue - it was such a beautiful space to host our wedding!
