Everything down to the food, Venue, and staff were amazing!!! Had my 15 Anos here back in 2005 so when looking for a wedding venue we thought we would give it a try and we meet John who was such a pleasure to work with he answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to making sure our day went smoothly. Recommended this venue to all Chicago Brides or for any special event you may have.

We booked Fountain Blue for our March 2020 wedding. It was the first and only venue we looked at. Georgia was wonderful to work with from the very beginning. She answered every single question and was so helpful and understanding after 3 date changes due to the pandemic. It was our goal to never cancel our wedding, but find the perfect date with our venue. The quality of service was excellent and everyone was so professional. My husband and I got multiple compliments on the delicious food. Georgia also lead us to our bakery and DJ, both of which did not disappoint either! I would recommend Fountain Blue to anyone looking for a place to have any celebration.

I dealt with Bill throughout the whole process. He is one great guy. He will take care of you. Prices are very reasonable and the food was super delish!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. I had my wedding here on 12/7/13. Connie and Mary are a dream to work with and really made me feel calm the entire time. I worked closely with Mary who is very knowledgeable about certain venders and will be able to recommend any to you that you are unsure of. I had my wedding reception in the Athena room, which is a beautiful room with stunning chandeliers and light blue walls. Mary worked closely with me on exactly how I wanted my centerpieces, head table, etc. Everything looked perfect when I walked in. The food was fabulous! We had passed around appetizers. Everyone got a couple pieces of each, We had the shrimp cocktail, the chicken and beef brochettes, egg rolls, meatballs. All were great. For dinner we selected the Chicken DeJonge and a redskin masked potatoes. It was just as good as it was at the tasting. Mary was really great at catering to our specific needs and questions and concerns that came up as we were planning. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Fountain Blue made my wedding day a breeze!! The food was FABULOUS, the service was outstanding, and Bill our sales manager was such a great guy. The answer was never no! The decor throughout the entire building is beautiful, and the prices were unbeatable. If you're looking for a venue in the Cook County suburban area...search no more. Fountain Blue is the best!

Seriously, an amazing place to get married. I had my ceremony and reception here and both were amazingly beautiful. The staff is super friendly and treated me like family every time I was there or called with a question. I actually ate my entire plate of food during dinner, it was that good. All of my guests commented that the food was great as well. I can't say enough nice things about this place. I really have nothing negative to say! Check this place out if you want a beautiful wedding with nothing to worry about!

My husband and I used the Fountain Blue for both our ceremony site and reception site. We had our ceremony outside on the patio in front of the fountain. The location was beautiful and all our guests commented on how amazing it was to be married right in front of the fountain. Our reception room was the Normandy Room. We had about 100 guests and they fit perfectly. Everything was set up the day before the wedding as well, so when we came to do the rehearsal the day before, I was able to see everything all finalized. I called the Fountain Blue with questions, and even stopped by on occasion to check in on things with Connie and the rest of the staff. Everyone worked so hard to make sure our wedding was the best it could be, and it was even better. Thank you for everything

Georgia Diamond was a consummate professional throughout the entire wedding planning process. From our first meeting, Georgia was super friendly and able to calm a very organized bride's nerves. She answered every question I had (she usually answered emails within HOURS, which was amazing)

The venue itself was gorgeous. Crystal chandeliers, beautiful wall sconces, a beautifully draped head table. All of our guests said the food was (expletive) amazing, and it was the best wedding they'd ever been to.

The day of the wedding, Georgia came out to greet us, organize the entire bridal party, and most importantly, make sure everyone had FUN. She checked in with us multiple times to make sure people were enjoying the party, and went above and beyond for us. A few weeks before the wedding, my husband and I found out I was pregnant, and Georgia went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable - she put snacks in the bridal suite, discreetly turned wine bottle labels around so none of the guests could see I was only drinking apple cider, and made sure to stop by throughout the night to make sure I was feeling okay.

The prices are reasonable, the food is amazing, and the service is without compare.

We loved having our wedding here, from the moment we walked in to view the set up of another wedding. The planning process was calm and organized due to Georgia's patient and thorough approach. The food was fantastic - we were told by many of our guests it was the best meal they have had at a wedding - and we agreed. The service during the reception was first class. As a bride and groom we felt like royalty as Georgia looked after us to ensure we were happy with how evening was flowing. They exceeded our expectations on their presentation of the room and cake. The location can't be beat and offers many nearby hotels, including one across the parking lot. We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a reception hall in the O'Hare area.

Georgia Diamond from Fountain Blue really made our wedding planning and reception perfect! We had a large guest list (just under 300) and several traditions that we needed to include in the celebration. Georgia was very accommodating and professional. The food was delicious, the garden is beautiful for pictures, we were allowed to have Polish vodka bottles on the table, we were allowed to have outside vendors for a sweet table and late night snack, and everything ended up being within our budget. My husband and I were rarely rejected when we had a special request. I would highly recommend this location if you are looking for a large, but elegant venue hall that is located in the Northwest suburbs. My only complaint would be the hotel next door (Radisson O'hare was not as accommodating), but they are not necessarily associated with Fountain Blue. Make sure you work with Georgia if you are going to choose this reception hall.

Everything was perfect!
They have a very good eye for detail and made everything very simple.

The food was amazing and no one walked away hungry!
All of the guest were amazed on how good the food was and how lovely everything looked.

The staff even came and asked us and our parents if there was anything that we needed through out the night.

We could not have asked for anything better.

I had searched several locations for our reception and was a bit nervous about the exterior of Fountain Blue, but was very impressed by the interior decor. What I liked even more was working with Connie on our perparations. She was very patient in going over every detail of our reception and had an answer for every one of our concerns (adding a foreign beer, having our own cake brought in, etc.), usually even better than we hoped! It was very obvious that they've been in the business for a very long time and had worked out a plan for every contingency.
And the food....! We were fairly sure we wanted the prime rib, but also tried a chicken dish at our tasting, along with the side dishes. The prime rib was so delicious, and a very generous serving. The prices were so reasonable, we spent the small amount extra for the prime rib. Most people don't remember the food served at weddings, but my guests couldn't stop raving about the dinner- even the vegetarians in our group were thrilled. We also had tray-passed hors d'ourves during out cocktail hour, which our guests complained were too delicious and plentiful, as they wouldn't have room for dinner!
I have no qualms reccommending Fountain Blue to anyone looking for a venue for their special event!

We recently just had our wedding at Fountain Blue Banquets and everyone that works there is so nice and helpful. The room was so beautiful, they really did a great job. I had asked for a little different layout and they worked hard to make my vision possible and looked amazing. The food is so good, we continue to get compliments from our friends. I also called Fountain Blue to help with food and design ideas and they were always willing to help with a friendly smile. Again everyone worked so hard that night to make our wedding great!

I cannot say enough great things about the Fountain Blue in Des Plaines, Illinois. They were absolutely WONDERFUL and made our day even better than we could have even imagined!! They went above and beyond with making the tables look fabulous, they were extremely accommodating on ALL aspects of our reception. Our room was beautiful, the food was delicious, and Georgia was just an absolute pleasure to work with! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reception and/or ceremony and reception venue! They are AMAZING!!

I had the best wedding reception at Fountain Blue. Connie and Bill, on top of being so kind to us, they were always quick to respond to phone calls and emails (and believe me when I say we made a lot of them!). They understood our vision for what we wanted the ballroom (Versailles) to look like, they made a few suggestions as to how to really have the place look amazing and followed through! I fell in love with the place as soon as I walked in when we were venue shopping. On top of everything else, prices were very reasonable, the food was excellent, the drinks kept on coming, and the bartenders and servers were extremely nice to us and our guests. My private bridal room was stocked with the hors d'oeuvres I wasn't able to eat when my bridal party and I were running late for cocktail hour. It also had champagne and bottled water, which I really appreciated. I highly suggest to use Fountain Blue for your reception needs. You won't regret it!

Excellent food, six months later our guests are still talking about it. Gorgeous venue and all the staff was excellent!!! They treat you like royalty and made our special day go perfect!! After all the venues and halls we visited, Fountain Blue outshined all of them (and our choice was large since we do live in Chicago!)

The Fountain Blue was very flexible with us through all steps of the process and made wedding planning so much easier! John was amazing and helped me through everything, also the food quality is so good, as good or better than a quality restaurant. At first I was skeptical of a banquet hall but considered it because of the extremely affordable price, bur I honestly think my wedding turned out to be more beautiful and perfect than it could have at any other venue. I'd looked at many expensive venues, from cool new spaces downtown, to high end barnhouses, but ultimately I think the Fountain Blue was better than anything else out there! It sounds dramatic but I am serious. All the guests were highly impressed and some said it was the nicest event they'd ever attended. I 10/10 recommend the Fountain Blue, because of the amazing facilities and food, great genuinely kind and helpful staff, accessible location, and overall experience!

Bill was absolutely amazing to work with. He and his team are very knowledge and helpful. The room looked spectacular and the food was delicious. I couldn't have asked for better service.

if I could give this fountain blue 6 stars I would! We hosted our wedding reception here recently (fall of 2015) and fountain Blue was so great to work with. The coordinators were awesome. I had so little to worry about, the staff delivered on every promise and everything was done as we requested. I was so happy with the advice and level of professionalism of the staff. all of our guest had a wonderful time, we had so many compliments on the food, waitstaff, and bartending service. This venue helped make our wedding perfect! Bill is amazing in every way, no minor detail was overlooked! He was professional, positive, attentive, and supportive! Throughout our engagement, it was always easy to make appointments around our schedules and we always felt like we could take the time we needed to make everything perfect! His response time was never more than 24-hours! He always made my family feel respected and appreciated.

The space at Fountain Blue was amazingly beautiful as well! It is perfect for any wedding looking for elegance! The room we were in felt royal! They also have a wonderful garden space that is perfect for guests and pictures!

This venue is PERFECT for any bride who is a foodie! Everything is made in-house and is fantastic! Also, we had several dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free, kosher) that they were able to accommodate! There were a few items where we needed to use substitutions, but the food was still amazing! We received an unbelievable amount of compliments for the food at the reception! The bakery they work with is also wonderful! The cake tasted great and was included with our package!

The costs for the food and services we received were right within our budget as well! They have many options and packages to fit any kind of wedding. The bar on our package was excellent!

Any bride should do herself a favor and work with Fountain Blue and Bill!

Bill was awesome to work with. He made everything nice and smooth for us. The food was above all other goods I've had at a wedding without the cost of others.....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I cannot say enough great things about our wedding at Fountain Blue. I worked with Georgia the whole time and she was AMAZING! She was very professional, helpful and she had great ideas and recommendations for us. She completely understood my vision and made it happen! She was a pleasure to work with and was always checking to make sure we had everything we needed on our wedding day. We had our ceremony in the middle room and our reception in the far right room. Every room was absolutely breathtaking. They have beautiful crystal chandeliers in the rooms and they really made it look rich and beautiful with my décor and for my vision. The food here is absolutely delicious! All of the appetizers were very good, crab cakes especially were to die for! We did the Chicken Breast De John and everyone said it very good! Everything tasted just like it did our tasting and we were very happy with the food. All of our guests are still talking about how good the food is and how there was so many appetizers going around. We had a chocolate fountain and sweet table and the presentation was very pretty. The service was great by the staff and dinner was timed perfectly. The line for the bar got a little long but Georgia jumped right in and helped out, she’s great! The venue is a hidden gem, they have a beyond beautiful large garden in the back with all kinds of flowers and trees that make for great pictures. Not to mention the beautiful fountain in the front that made for pretty pictures for not just us but for the guests! It was very convenient that we were able to have all of our pictures, the ceremony and reception all in one place and everything looked so beautiful! THANK YOU Fountain Blue for helping to make our wedding day so great! We couldn't have picked a better place for our fairytale wedding!

Bill was so great to work with- he made planning the wedding so incredibly easy! He was also so accomodating to my Italian in laws-he understood what they expected in terms of service and quality and went above and beyond to deliver. The room was beautiful, and everyone is still talking about how amazing the food at our wedding!
