  The surest decision besides marrying my husband!

  We were eloping in Washington state with no idea where to start. Forthright photo responded to us immediately, set up a Zoom call, and made us feel so excited for our day! They are so genuine, kind, and very knowledgeable about where to go to get the best photos. Laura recommended specific trails to write down on our special permit for the national park and was so excited to do a sunrise wedding with us! You aren't just getting gorgeous pictures with Laura and Devon, you are getting advice on exactly what to do to make the day the most joyful!
  Thank you for these beautiful memories we will have forever now. I feel like I'm reliving the day over and over again, I tear up every time I look at the photos.

  Best photographers ever!

  Laura and Devon are amazing! They were so nice to work with for our last minute elopement and they captured the day exactly how we wanted. You can tell they really care about making sure they are able to give you the best experience possible and making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. They even meet us the day of with some yummy muffins and had hairpins on hand when my hair came out! Definitely reach out if you're considering them, you won't regret it!

  Better than real life photos!

  Laura and Devon are absolutely amazing! They know all of the most epic (and lesser known!) spots throughout the PNW and can guide you to the locations that exactly fit your vision for your special adventure. I love that Laura has a passion for preserving the beauty of the PNW and you can trust that she will guide you to the best views and trails WITHOUT leaving a trace or hurting the precious flora that makes it a site worth visiting. Laura and Devon are great at making you feel comfortable throughout the entire experience, from the hiking, to being in front of the camera, and trusting them to deliver absolutely the most epic photographs in such a timely matter. This is honestly the first time I've ever felt like the photos were even better than what I remember seeing in person. 100% recommend!!

  Magical winter elopement

  We worked with Laura and Devon for our elopement and could not recommend them more. They were relaxed and professional, and we immediately felt at ease. What's great about them is that there are two of them! They showed us how to pose together, and the pictures you'll get show the close-ups as well as the beautiful shots that highlight the environment. Our families keep telling us how happy our photos make them feel, because WE looked so happy. If you're doing an adventure elopement, Laura and Devon are exactly who you want!

  Best Elopement Photographers!

  Wow! Laura and Devon are so extremely talented, fun and easy going. We are so happy we chose them to capture our elopement day. From the beginning, Laura was very responsive and incredibly helpful. She helped us scout locations and constantly updated us on any changes. They were both so patient with us during our hike, and even came prepared with hiking poles. When we got our sneak peeks, I was BLOWN away and brought to tears with how perfectly they captured the day. They also made us feel so comfortable during the entire process.. I recommend them for all your elopement and wedding needs!

  Laura & Devon are incredibly talented photographers & genuine, caring people

  Laura and Devon are simply amazing - an adventure photographer power couple!! We loved getting to know them and they are genuine, cool people. They are super chill and made us feel so relaxed on our wedding day. They embraced the natural moments and we just felt like we were able to be ourselves around them. We are SO IN LOVE with our photos!!! They came out so gorgeous and captured our day as we remember it, yet they somehow made us look like movie stars. We loved how they disappeared in the background after the ceremony and captured the raw emotion of the day in the little moments shared between us, our family and friends. We will cherish these photos forever and everyone can't stop talking about how beautiful they came out. We also couldn't believe how fast the turned around sneak peeks and now, our full gallery. It is going to be very hard choosing which photos to get printed! We just love them all so much.
  
  They also planned an epic adventure shoot for us at sunrise on Hurricane Ridge - we were the only ones there and we had a blast hiking up the ridge with them. Our sunrise session is something we will never forget!! We can't rave about Laura & Devon enough! Now we will have to find an excuse to do another shoot with them again haha.

  Best photographer duo!!

  Omg! We absolutely love love love Laura and Devon. They went above and beyond the moon for us. They were there to keep us on track, provide pain meds, tide to go, humor, and our marriage certificate (that we forgot at our house!?!?). They not only were there for us, but they captured our wedding day in the most beautiful way. We definitely feel like we made some great friends after being with these guys all day :) I wouldn’t trade them for any other photography duo!

  Wedding planner recommended!

  Laura, Devon, and I worked together at a wedding in July 2022; they were the photographers and I was the wedding coordinator. I found them both very easy to work with, both before and on the wedding day. I especially appreciated how they kept photos on track during the wedding and their positive attitudes despite some rather extreme heat. Thanks, Laura and Devon!

  From the initial vendor contact to doing our engagement photos and to the day of our wedding Laura and her husband Devon were amazing! Such an sweet couple that makes you feel comfortable because trying to be lovey dovey was not easy for me and my now husband. Laura has clearly worked many weddings and picked up some amazing things a long the way, because she was able to help make my flower crown work when it wasn't exactly what I wanted. I would definitely book them all over again!

  Laura took our engagement photos as well as our bridal photos and did an amazing job! I'm also a photographer, so choosing and trusting someone else to take our photos was a huge thing to me. And I have no regrets choosing her! She had great ideas of locations for what I was looking for, and was so flexible in locations due to weather. She even traveled to us, two hours away. Which made it way easier on us! Such a quick turn around time and so many images! Laura is the best!!

  Laura and Devon photographed our Seattle wedding in December 2017 and we could not be happier with the outcome! They were amazing through the entire planning process and the day of. They made the entire picture taking process so easy and efficient and were enjoyable to be around the whole day. They were both so kind and accommodating and really truly added to the overall energy of the day. Our photos turned out amazingly and they really captured every moment, we received all of our photos so quickly and got to relive the whole day through them!   My husband and I just got married yesterday and Laura and Devon were nothing less than amazing! With all of the craziness with ring bearers/flower girl running around, a dog, and coordinating the parents to said children running around they had the upmost patience and good humor through it all. They made taking pictures easy and comfortable, especially since neither one of us are the best at pictures. Laura always got back to us in a timely manner with any questions and was always kind. We couldn’t stop talking today about how easy they made the day for us and how impressed we were. Would recommend them in a heartbeat!

  LaYoung Photography is by far my favorite! She is extremely talented and isn't afraid to think outside of the box! My fiancé and I had a blast photographing our engagement with her and can't wait to see what magic she makes happen for our big day!

  Both Laura and Devon were so helpful, kind, and just awesome. Our wedding pictures turned out beautiful! They were so easy to work with and have an excellent eye for detail! Highly recommend.
