My husband and I hired Heather for our September 2025 wedding in Winter Park, FL. We live in NYC and she made planning from afar super easy. We felt so taken care of by Heather and she did so much to make our day happen with ease, joy and fun. Heather has a really assuring and calm energy and we knew we were in good hands from our very first call. She worked really hard to help us bring our vision to life with her mood board creation and was super helpful whenever we had questions. She and her assistant coordinator Manuela were super communicative with our vendors and stayed calm cool and collected the entire day. Our very opinionated families loved Heather too! We are forever grateful for her kindness, expertise, professionalism and attention to detail. -

WOW WOW WOW! Truly a 10-star experience.
I hired For the Love of Events early on in my wedding-planning journey, and it was hands-down one of the best decisions I made. Amanda, the owner, paired me with Heather as my personal wedding planner—and I genuinely cannot say enough amazing things about her.
Heather was an absolute GEM. Incredibly attentive, patient, and supportive from start to finish. We started planning almost two years before my wedding date, and not once did I ever feel forgotten or pushed aside, even with such an early timeline.
I’ll be the first to admit… I was probably a nightmare client at the beginning because I had zero vision. I wasn’t the little girl who grew up dreaming of her wedding day, so I came in clueless. But Heather never made me feel that way. She guided me, helped me discover what I actually loved, and turned all my scattered ideas into something truly beautiful.
She also paired me with the most amazing vendors and checked in on me regularly—like genuinely checked in on me and my well-being throughout the entire process. I truly feel like I’ve gained a friend in her, and I am just so grateful to have worked with her.
And on the wedding day itself, she was nothing short of an angel. She made it crystal clear to everyone that no issue—big or small—was to be brought to me or my groom. All problems were to go directly to her so we could be fully present and stress-free. At one point, right before walking into the reception, she noticed my bustle wasn’t secure. Without hesitation, she knelt down and fixed it herself. It’s those small, thoughtful moments that I will never forget.
I honestly cannot RAVE enough about my experience. If you’re on the fence about hiring For the Love of Events, this is your sign to do it! -

It's taken me some time to write this review (we married on 10.5.2024) because I wanted to capture every little beautiful thing executed by this amazing company. FTLE, ran by the amazing Amanda Borrero, made our entire wedding planning process and wedding month, week, day the best they could have possibly been. Everything was best case scenario, even if there were (very normal) little changes of plans or mishaps. FTLE is an organized, experienced, kind, creative, knowledgeable, and elite wedding planning group that truly surpassed my already-high expectations. From day one of wedding planning, Amanda and her team gave us the peace of mind we needed to truly enjoy planning our wedding. All the way until wedding day, they provided immaculate service in every possible way. Hailey was our girl for all of wedding weekend and she truly helped ease our nerves, make sure everything was where and how it needed to be, and even helped my husband and I exchange our vows before the wedding started. I truly could not recommend them more. They do everything, big or small, in love, and we couldn't have been more blessed to have them for every step. Industry experience and knowledge aside, they are truly a little group of guardian angels. Thank you forever, Amanda and Hailey!!! -

As a corporate event planner, you know you need a good team behind you. Heather at FTLE was AMAZING and so helpful. I knew I could trust all of my planning was in excellent hands. Once I brain dumped everything to her, she ran with it! 10/10 recommend. From the planning support to week/weekend of the wedding, everything was perfect and I truly wouldn't change a thing. -

From the very beginning, Amanda was extremely friendly, professional, and diligent. I could tell that she always had her bride's interests at heart and was very communicative throughout the entire process leading up to her client's wedding. She made it VERY easy for me to get everything I needed regarding their music playlist and photo booth design to ensure that the couple's wedding was a success. For The Love of Events gets a standing ovation!!!! They were the best planner I could have ever chose for my destination wedding.
I knew they were the one after having my consultation with Amanda. I had other consults elsewhere but Amanda was down to earth, confident and reassuring in my need and wants for a destination wedding planner. It was important to me to find someone that was okay with my type-A personality. Working with Heather was a pure joy as she was ALWAYS open to my ideas and my checklists😂 God bless you!!!!!
On the day of my wedding I got to enjoy my day, soak in every second and not worry about a thing. My family and friends still talk about our wedding to this day and that’s something very important to me. It shows that Heather and her team worked hard to ensure all the vendors were fulfilling their duties and were able to handle anything that came their way.

Amanda and Heather from For the Love of Events were my guardian angels from the moment I hired them to the last time I said goodbye on my wedding night! Heather was all I could have asked for in a coordinator and more - she was there to answer every question, give any recommendation, wipe away every tear... anything I could have possibly needed, she was there. Their online wedding planning platform was the most incredible tool for us during wedding planning and kept us so organized. I also loved that everything I put in there was easily transferrable to them so they had all my information. My wedding day was flawless thanks to Heather and the team at For the Love of Events! I cannot emphasize this enough: if you haven't hired them yet, do it as soon as possible and your wedding experience will be literally perfect in every way! -

Made My Dream Wedding Come True
If you’re reading this review, please take this as your official sign from the Lord, that you HAVE found your wedding planners. I mean this with all the love in my heart, FTLE will seriously care about YOU, your vision, your dream, your budget (lol girl I feel you) and do absolutely everything in their power to make it all come to life. It’s like having a best friend plan your wedding, literally. Someone who will handle things for you, mediate for you, bargain for you, and be SO honest about everything — which we really need sometimes as brides!
We planned our wedding in less than 9 months and it was BEYOND my Type A Bride heart and brain wanted — like unbelievably BEYOND. You can trust FTLE with your eyes closed. They have the work ethic, perfect organization, an endless list of vendor friends, etc — but most importantly, they have such love for each of their couples; they are committed to having your wedding day be exactly what your heart is yearning for. It’s 4 months after our wedding and when we see our friends and family, they STILL rave about how the food at our wedding was the best they’ve ever had at any wedding they’ve ever been to.
I literally prayed for who to choose as my wedding planners, and when I found FTLE, it was a dream come true. I told Amanda over and over again, this was a Spirit ordained relationship, that quickly turned into a friendship, and even quicker turned into family.
And for the grooms, here are a few words from my husband: As men, we have the tendency to want to control and be in charge of everything. Amanda and Heather made it so smooth, that I felt so comfortable with them handling everything and anything. They were extremely detailed, super organized, all while being extremely caring and loving, making sure that our day was perfect. If you’re ever wondering if wedding planners like them are worth the cost, man they 100% are. The stress, money and time that you save, by putting your faith into people like them, is worth every penny. -

The best decision we made was to hire a wedding planner and Amanda exceeded our expectations. She was incredibly personable and had amazing advice and ideas. Her communication was amazing and all of our vendors said they loved working with her and her team. We had 3 total planners working day of for us and they did an incredible job making sure everything ran smoothly as well as decorating our venue better than my husband and I visioned. -

My husband and I were one of the many couples impacted by Covid, meaning we had to reschedule our event upwards of three times to get a date that worked. After waiting for the new date, and working with our vendors, we finally thought we had everything secured; however, our day of event planner was no longer providing their services and without consulting or reaching out to us, refunded our money without explanation a week before the event. To make matters worse, our coordinator for the venue we selected was fired from the venue the week of our wedding. In pure desperation, I decided I would not use a day of coordinator and try to do things on my own; however, we were put into contact with Heather and she agreed to jump in last minute and help. She helped with the rehearsal process, was our day of coordinator, set up our decorations, made sure things ran smoothly, ushered guests from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, and all around was helpful wherever she could be. In the week leading up to our wedding she was incredibly responsive, professional and friendly, working quickly to ensure our event would run perfectly. I wish we would have hired For the Love of Events from the very start. I am forever grateful for Heather!
If you are overwhelmed by planning or are just needing a coordinator for your wedding/event, please save yourself the headache and hire For the Love of Events! 5/5 stars. -

I got married on March 17th, 2022 Heather L. Did an AMAZING job!
She was super helpful and was with me every step of the way from the moment she was hired. If I had any questions about what the next step in wedding planning was or if I needed any clarification with any of my vendors she was on it. I love that she had a solution for any issue I ran into during the planning process. She attended meeting with vendors with me and asked questions I never would have thought to ask and even made a detailed entire day-of timeline.
The day of the wedding she was an absolute superstar directing all the vendors to where they needed to go and made sure that the vision I had for my wedding came to life. If there was any hiccup I was none the wiser to them day of because she was on it and had it resolved before I even knew anything was wrong.
After the wedding she was still super helpful in making sure all of my belongings made it back to me all loose ends where tied.
I cannot recommend Heather enough, her services are fully worth the investment and I 100% credit her and her assistant for my wedding going just as planned. She and her assistant handled all of the logistics so that I, my husband, and family could fully focus on enjoying the moment.

We held our wedding at Mission Inn Resort on Friday March 25th, 2022 at their “Plaza de la Fontana and La Hacienda restaurant” and we just want to relive our wedding over & over again! Our month of wedding planner, Heather, was hired from “For the Love of Events” and she was all around wonderful. We had a few phone conversations and emails back and forth about my vision for the wedding day and what I needed from her. We finally met in person before our rehearsal to do a walk through of the venue’s ceremony site, cocktail hour, and reception area to signify where certain decorations were to go and how the next two days would play out. She is the one who conducted our rehearsal while it was RAINING right next to our ceremony site in a covered walk path so we would not get wet but still could see where we were all going to be. She kept everyone focused and on task to get the rehearsal done correctly and allow us to move on to our dinner. Wedding DAY!! Heather from For the Love of Events and her assistance were working with us all day and knew exactly what they needed to do; she took all of our wedding decorations and set them up exactly the way I wanted them, she made sure all the other vendors were showing up on time and had what they needed, she even helped my fiancé remove blood stains out of his white collared shirt before the wedding!! She helped us organize a memorable moment between my husband and I of what we called our “first touch” we did not want to see eachother before our ceremony but we did want to take a few minutes prior to read love letters and hold hands. She organized this perfectly to where we absolutely did not see eachother but amazing pictures could be taken while we were in the moment. Everything for our wedding went so smooth, ceremony was beautiful, our venue Mission Inn resort has many beautiful spots to take pictures afterwards, and my new husband and I even got to take a few minutes alone to walk into our reception and see it all set up before any of our guests went inside. Heather was right on top of everything going on and whatever we needed. I cannot thank her enough for making sure our special day turned out perfect! -

We are very casual people, so having a wedding planner was intimidating to us... but FTLE made us comfortable with every phone call, email, and meeting we had. Being comfortable is our top priority and Amanda really ensured that by attending our tasting, meeting with us prior to the big day, and working with our different family members to ensure they were comfortable but we also ultimately got what we wanted. Best wedding planner ever!
Amanda made the entire wedding planning process so easy! I worked with her while I was living overseas and she adjusted calls and meetings to work in my time. She coordinated with all my vendors and ensured a smooth event.
On the day of the wedding, we were hit with unexpected rain and I could not use my choosen area at the venue. But Amanda had backup plans and more and created the most perfect location.
If I could go back in time, there is only one thing I would do and that would be to let Amanda suggest all my vendors for me. The ones she suggested were amazing.

If you don't hire Amanda you're doing it wrong!
Amanda is amazing! If you don’t hire her for your wedding, you’re kindly doing it wrong! I’m a photographer and videographer in the area and I’ve worked with Amanda in several capacities. She was the planner for a huge multi-day styled shoot that featured 4 different sets of vendors, models and venues. She coordinated those events flawlessly and wasn’t afraid to get in the action to set up, break down and direct where needed. I’ve also been a bridesmaid in a 200 person Spanish/German wedding where there were 3 separate venues for getting ready, ceremony and reception. It was a lot of running around and hustling but she handled it with ease and the couple, family and bridal party could really enjoy the day without worrying about a thing. I recommend her to all of my couples and will trust her with my future wedding. My favorite thing about Amanda is her sweet personality, her willingness to help and be there for you even with the little things that may not technically be her job. Long story short, she has her shit together and is worth every penny! -

My wife and I initially got a wedding planner about four months before our wedding, with the intention of using her as kind of a guide to what we already had planned ourselves. A month in, she actually made our lives MORE stressful so we fired her. We went another month without a wedding planner, feeling like we were fine without one until my wife's friend recommended Amanda. We decided to use Amanda's services, with two months to go before our wedding, and the result was the exact opposite of our first experience. Amanda was warm, friendly, and especially productive. She took all the tools we had already put together (caterer, flowers, photographer, etc. and organized everything). She was always reassuring us, was available to talk, communicated frequently, and helped us put together a beautiful wedding. Oh, and she was also affordable. We are so grateful Amanda created a masterpiece with our vision for the perfect wedding. -

As a wedding photographer myself, I know what it takes to coordinate a wedding and I've worked with many planners. When Amanda became a part of my vendor team for my own wedding, I knew immediately that she would be a perfect fit. From beginning to end, she was efficient, organized and sweet. Oh-another thing. Due to a mishap with my stylist's assistant, Amanda came to my bridal prep at 5:30am to help curl bridesmaids hair and help my mom create some florals for the aisle.
