I can’t say enough wonderful things about Christen and her string quartet! From the very first conversation, Christen’s responsiveness, communication, creativity, and kindness stood out. It was such a joy stepping into her world and feeling her passion for music as we planned the ceremony and cocktail hour music for my wedding day.
The quartet was timely, looked amazing, and played some of the most ethereal music I’ve ever heard. As the bride, my only regret was not being able to listen to every single song they played! A particularly special moment was receiving an MP3 recording of the song I walked down the aisle to—something I’ll treasure forever.
Having a string quartet at my wedding was always a dream of mine, and Christen brought that dream to life in the most magical way. Thank you, Christen, for making my day so unforgettable. I highly recommend her and her talented team to anyone looking for stunning live music! -

Christen was a pleasure to work with. She helped us select music for each part of the ceremony. Her website is very helpful. I was able to look through her repertoire and give her a good idea of what we liked. She was very responsive and reached out when she needed more information so that we stayed on track. She was very flexible. We ended up adding an hour for the cocktail hour--so worth it. On the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond to help my son, who was singing, set up his sound equipment. Having live music at the wedding definitely elevated our experience. I would highly recommend using Christen. -

It was a dream to walk down the aisle to the instrumentals of this live string trio. 😍 We hosted our intimate wedding ceremony and reception in the Green Solarium at the Denver Botanic Gardens - and the trio sounded absolutely amazing. Plus Christen was super easy to work with! She was super responsive and flexible when it came to planning our ceremony and reception songs. Her trio learned a new song for our processional, plus they hit the cues perfectly. I wanted our recessional song to start when we had our first kiss - and the totally nailed my magical movie kiss moment! Plus, Christen created the playlist for our cocktail hour and reception, based on our music tastes, so I didn't have to spend a long time figuring that out.
I would totally recommend going with LIVE MUSIC for your wedding - and I completely recommend Christen and her crew. :) -

Thanks so much to Christen and her trio for their wonderful performance at my daughter's wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens in August. We couldn't be happier. They learned the music we requested (so much Star Wars!) as well as pop and big band hits. We received so many compliments from guests and the other vendors. It was the perfect musical accompaniment to the garden wedding and reception. We couldn't have asked for more. -

Christen & Brightin with Flutes & Strings were the perfect touch to our mountain wedding! From the time I started working with Christen to the days after our wedding her communication, organization, kindness and ability to answer any and all questions was flawless. I asked her to learn some additional songs for our wedding day, and although I’m sure it wasn’t an easy task, she played the songs as if they were part of her repertoire. One of my most favorite memories will be hearing the sound of the violin and cello right before I walked down the aisle. There is no doubt in my mind that I will work with her again in future and forever follow along with her extremely talented musical journey. -

Christen brought her musical beauty to our wedding in Breckenridge Colorado in July 2021, and I am so glad we selected her and her colleague. She played during the prelude and following the ceremony. Christen Stephens and her musicians were incredible! My bride wanted a very specific video game song played as she walked down the aisle and Christen's team pulled it off perfectly! They also did a great job with general contemporary music played on classical instruments, and create a great, classy, yet fun, atmosphere during the pre-ceremony time, and cocktail hour! She was always professional and very easy to work with! Highly recommended! -

I can’t emphasize enough how much we enjoyed working with Christen as well as hearing her and the rest of the quartet at our wedding! Christen is super professional and also very flexible. We were able to have a quartet of two flautists, a cellist, and a violist and with the music we picked, it sounded absolutely magical. We used most of their repertoire list but Christen also was able to play a few extra pieces for us that weren’t, some from operas and some from movies that my husband and I have enjoyed watching together during our relationship. You will not regret hiring these wonderfully talented musicians. Thank you again Christen! -

Christen was a delight to work with!
She did a few video calls with us during Covid as we were destination wedding to Aspen. Her website gave some good samples and she picked up a song we requested to learn to help make the moment special. We picked up a song list and she delivered!
Her music created a special backdrop to our wedding, and I can't wait to rehear her during our wedding video. :) -

Christen and her team were nothing short of amazing! Leading up to my wedding, we were in constant contact and had so much fun with our love of music. I would bounce ideas off of her and she would get back to me almost instantaneously. She is so much fun to work with and is an amazing musician. Alex and Anna accompanied her and they were so talented as well. She was able to organize playing several really special songs for my wedding. Not only amazing musicians but also so very kind. -

We booked a string quartet with Christen for our 3.28.20 wedding. Sadly, we had to make other arrangements due to COVID-19 and will not be able to have the ceremony that we had planned. Although we are beyond disappointed that our wedding day will no longer involve a string quartet (or any guests in-person...we're going "virtual" with guests joining via video chat), we truly enjoyed working with Christen. She was incredibly organized, responsive, and kind every step of the way. She and the other musicians were so willing to learn the songs that we requested and she organized a pre-ceremony meeting with us to make sure that all the bases were covered. She is a professional and will put you at ease with any of your wedding day concerns. When we canceled, I told her how upset I was that I won't be walking down the aisle to the arrangement of Butterflies (Kacey Musgraves) that they created for us and she absolutely made my day by sending a recording and the sheet music. I lost it. What a special gift and so thoughtful at a time when we are all confused, frustrated, and anxious about the future. We didn't get to enjoy their music at our wedding, but I know with certainty that they would have surpassed our expectations! Thank you, Christen! -

Perfect in every way!
My daughter had a small ceremony on top of Flagstaff Mountain in Boulder Colorado. Christen was able to play for us with very short notice. Most of the wedding party caravaned to the top but our groom lost phone signal and had trouble finding the way. Christen had studied some of the maps and was able to find the location. When my husband and daughter and I arrived a short while later we heard these lovely sounds coming through the forest as we hiked down to the ceremony site. There was truly a mystical feeling. She played mostly classical music with a few popular songs mixed in, and one she created while there and she continued to play during photos. We were also given a recording of the music from the event! That day couldn't have been more perfect and we were all so happy! We recommend Christen for wedding events as well as any others. I excitedly chose "Flute and Strings by Christen Stephens" to create and perform an elegant Solo Flute Ceremony Music Program for my niece's May 31st Wedding Ceremony, which took place at striking Sapphire Point! Christen's incredibly beautiful Solo Flute performance was stunning -- beyond magical -- adding the finishing touch to my niece's heartfelt Wedding Ceremony Celebration! Christen was so outstanding to work with! My niece said that my wedding gift of ceremony music totally exceeded anything that she could have ever imagined! I highly recommend Christen Stephens to every couple, in search of elegant and unforgettable ceremony music! -

What can I say, Christen is an absolute dream to work with! She is not only an incredible musician, the whole process of coordinating the event was done with the utmost professionalism and polish. I had absolute assurance that everything would be ready on time, that every detail of the performance would be looked after, and that she knew exactly what she needed for the performance to be top quality. I am an artist, and Christen and Craig (co-founders of the Inspire Duo) performed throughout the opening evening at the gallery. Rave reviews poured in throughout the evening. To have live flute lent a unique beauty to the night and paired beautifully with piano. Their creativity combined with their expertise is truly impressive. The audience was captivated.
