Ora Beth and Curt and Flour & Bloom Cakes are the absolute BEST!! Working with them for our wedding cakes was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our big day. Starting with the first communications, Curt was so incredibly helpful in helping us schedule (and reschedule) the tasting, and accommodated us when deciding how many of us would attend. When we arrived at their beautiful bakery space, Ora Beth was so kind, and every flavor we tried was so delicious, it made choosing so difficult! The cakes that they ended up making for us, a 3 tier semi-naked Chocolate Chip Espresso cake, and a Matcha Black Sesame supplemental cake, were both unbelievably delicious, and absolutely STUNNING!
Ora Beth and Curt were both incredibly easy to work with and communicate with through every step of the process. From providing input on the cake stand, to making sure we got the right number of servings, to communicating about delivery and fridge space needed, to instructing us on dropping off greenery, and the plan for getting florals from our florist, everything just went so smoothly. They delivered right on time, placed the cake greenery and florals beautifully, and even added supports to make sure that our cake topper would be steady and supported when it came time for us to place it. Us and our guests absolutely LOVED the unique and complex flavors!! We are so grateful for the Flour & Bloom team for making our dream wedding cake absolutely perfect and unforgettable. If you're looking for an amazingly delicious and stunning cake baker, we definitely recommend choosing Flour & Bloom Cakes! Thank you for everything Ora Beth and Curt! -

Delicious and beautiful cake!
We decided on a cake from Flour & Bloom in the last month before our wedding and flour & bloom delivered! We had a limited budget but ultimately opted for a sheet cake for our guest and small decorated round cake for our display cake! The cakes were delicious! We had the Matcha Cake with Black Sesame and the Olive Oil Meyer Lemon Cake w/Lemon Curd with Fresh Raspberries and Blueberries. The texture of the cakes were moist, the display cake was gorgeous but most importantly they were not too sweet! Ora Beth was easy to work with and answered any questions we had. If you want a delicious and beautiful cake highly suggest going with Flour and Bloom! -

Ora Beth and her team are so incredibly talented! I don't have enough good things to say about Flour and Bloom. They're easy to work with and have quick and clear communication. All of their flavors are amazing... it was a difficult decision to narrow to pick just one! Do yourself a favor and book F&B for any event- you won't regret it! -

Wedding cake of my dreams! Absolutely loved working with Flour & Bloom for my wedding! From the cake tasting to finalizing the floral treatment, Ora Beth and the team are collaborative, creative and wonderful human beings. I got married in Sonoma in May 2023, with a wedding party size of 40 guests. We got the three tiered cake which was the perfect amount, plus some left over :) We selected the lemon olive oil and guava passion fruit. Truly the most incredible cake I've ever tasted. Not only was the cake gorgeous, but my guests kept raving about how it was the best cake they'd ever had. Would 100% recommend Flour & Bloom for your wedding or any event! -

Two bite cake cutting
Ora Beth created my dream cake. When I saw it, I couldn’t believe how perfectly she had captured my inspiration photos, mixed with our wedding colors. Oh and also, it was delicious. I was worried that the wedding cake wouldn’t live up to our taste test bites, but it was just as good, if not better. It was so delicious, I actually took a second bite while everyone watched. Our caterer saved us half a tier of each of our two flavors, and we devoured both in days. -

We weren’t the type of couple that obsessed about our wedding cake – “cake is cake,” right? Wrong. Flour and Bloom blew us away with the cake that they made for us. After doing a tasting with them, we decided that we wanted to customize a combination olive oil & meyer lemon cake with a raspberry filling and they handled it with ease! The flavor combination was perfect for a hot summer wedding and our guests didn’t stop raving about the cake. -

My husband is not a huge cake fan so we almost didn't do a cake at our wedding. I found Flour & Bloom and thought they were the most beautiful cakes with such unique flavors and was able to change his mind! We loved working with Ora Beth on our flavor combo and design and the cake turned out perfectly! It was such a great experience and so happy to have delicious cake at our wedding! -

Flour & Bloom helped us create 2 cakes for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing. I’m not a cake fan, but this is the best cake I’ve ever tasted and now I’m in love. One cake was a 4 tier wedding cake with 2 flavors (almond cake with apricot preserves and buttercream & chocolate cake with raspberry preserves and buttercream). We also had a grooms cake shaped as a hot sauce bottle and had tres leches flavors in it. The staff were so creative on the grooms cake project! The cakes were absolutely beautiful- guests loved it so much that they went back for seconds. I highly recommend them. -

Cake will never taste the same. I cannot explain how delicious this cake truly is. The favors are incredibly fresh and will change your entire outlook on cake. We originally only wanted a desert bar and a small cake for the cake cut, but after our tasting, we ordered a 3 tier cake. We could not get over how delicious every single flavor was. I had no vision for what I wanted my wedding cake to look like and I gave Ora Beth full creative range. She did not disappoint!! Our cake was BEAUTIFUL. Thank you so much for the amazing service and cake!!! -

We absolutely loved our cake from Flour & Bloom and our guests are still raving about it! We had 2 incredible flavors made (vanilla raspberry and chocolate chip espresso) - both were DELICIOUS. And the cake was absolutely gorgeous (we did a semi-naked frosted cake w/ fresh flowers). It beyond exceeded our expectations!
Ora Beth was so wonderful to work with - incredibly responsive and accommodating to whatever we needed. I would 1000% recommend you get your cake from her! -

The best experience and cake!
We were looking for a simple and delicious cake that had flavors both my husband and I enjoyed. Ora Beth made it happen! There was a raspberry and cream layer for him and a Oreo cookie layer for me. Seriously the best cake! The cake tasting and planning process was easy and fun too. Highly recommend Flour and Bloom! -

Ora Beth was amazing to work with for our wedding cake. She had an extensive portfolio of beautiful designs and was easy to work with when designing our wedding cake. Not only was our cake beautiful but it was extremely delicious. I honestly do not think we've had a wedding cake that delicious in our life -- and we're not being biased! All of our guests raved about the wedding cake, even weeks after our event and we cannot wait for our anniversary to eat our cake topper already! -

Flour & Bloom came highly recommended from our wedding planner. We had a wonderful cake tasting in their space and got to try all of their delicious cake flavors. Let’s just say, it didn’t make our decision easy! We wanted one of everything. Ora Beth was so kind and walked us through all the decisions needed to place the order. We ultimately decided to get a small cutting cake - vanilla raspberry with whole fresh raspberries - along with a variety of mini desserts -red velvet cake bites, chocolate chip espresso cake bites, mini lemon meringue tarts, chocolate chip cookies and apricot creme brûlées. Everything was delicious and our guests raved about the desserts. Flour & Bloom decorated the cake with florals from our florist and it was stunning to look at. One of the best parts was coming back to our hotel room after a wonderful day to see a to-go box of one of each of the desserts. They didn’t make it until the morning. Flour & Bloom also took extra care to accommodate my severe peanut and tree nut allergy. I felt safe eating everything which I am rarely able to do. We are already looking forward to our one-year anniversary cake that we are getting from them next July. -

Can't stop thinking about our wedding cakes
We worked with Elaine Bell Catering for our wedding meal, which is how we came to work with Flour & Bloom. The day of our tasting, we met Ora Beth, and she completely won us over with her professionalism and enthusiasm for what she does. We tasted all 10 types of cake, as she walked us through all the flavors, and we ultimately decided on 4 flavors: vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting, chocolate chip espresso, almond cake with raspberry buttercream and preservers, and chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. She was so understanding of our wanting more than one flavor and helped work with us to get the right sizes for each cake so we would have enough (but not too much leftover) for the wedding. I cannot even begin to express how beautiful these cakes looked AND tasted!! They completely exceeded our expectations. Our guests loved them as well, to a point where I had some ask me if Flour & Bloom made cakes just for purchase. Thanks Ora Beth, and the rest of the Flour & Bloom team! -

In all the stress and aspects of wedding planning, cake selection was a surprise favorite. It helps that Orabeth is fantastic. Truthfully I approached cake more as an ornamental part of the wedding and I didn't have high expectations. I was really happy that Flour&Bloom offered both - a cake that looked good and tasted good.
I set up a tasting of cake and minis. You get to try all 10 flavors and there are styrofoam sizes which helps visualize your cake. Flavors are all delicious and you can't really go wrong. I chose Tiramisu for both my layers.
I was adamant about a buttercream finish which ran counter to the design I chose. It took me a while to decide. But Ora Beth was patient and sweet about my dilemma. She reassured me that the high quality of fondant they use (i can testify) and she worked it out with my caterer to peel the fondant before serving. In the end I went with a two-tier fondant. No regrets! Was worried that the actual cake wouldn't live up to the tasting but I was wrong. It was SO GOOD. My guests all said it was delicious. Not overly sweet and very moist. Perfect. Wish I could have her cake for every occasion and just for the heck of it. -

Ora Beth is by far the most talented and accommodating baker I’ve ever met. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Ora Beth made sure our cake tasting was fun, tasty and organized. Fast-forward to our wedding day, and our wedding cake was my FAVORITE detail of our wedding. The design was elegant and the flavor was a chocolate-lover’s dream—triple chocolate cake with chocolate chips, fudge and ganache. Not only did our cake look stunning at our venue, it was honestly the best dessert I’ve ever eaten. Thank you Ora Beth for your talent, professionalism and attention to detail! We loved working with you and are looking forward to enjoying more of your incredible creations in the future. -

Our cake was perfect- both beautiful and delicious. Ora Beth is the best! From the very beginning she listened to what we were looking for and provided an array of options for our special day. The tasting process was probably the highlight of wedding planning for me. We were able to come up with three flavor tiers and go a little off the standard menu. Ora Beth was great in adapting to our ever growing vision of what started off as a small cutting cake. My family has an affinity for baked goods, so we ended up with 3 tiers that grew in diameter during our engagement. We received so many compliments from our guests on how good the cake was at our wedding! After starving ourselves for months up to the wedding you better believe we gorged ourselves on leftover cake for our first day of being married. Our cake was so perfect in every way. Our wedding planner gave us the best advice after our wedding and said rather than freeze a layer, order a cake every year on your anniversary and share it with those that you love. I think this will be our new wedding tradition! Would highly recommend working with Flour and Bloom!! -

Highly recommend!
It was such a pleasure working with Ora Beth and Nicole at Flour & Bloom! They worked seamlessly with our florist to incorporate flowers on our wedding cake, and perfectly executed a dessert bar, tiered wedding cake and surprise groom’s cake. We received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious all of the desserts were! I would highly recommend Flour & Bloom Cakes! -

Right from the beginning, the tasting experience we had with Flour&Bloom was different than other vendors. We got a flight full of different flavors and all the flavors were amazing!
