Sal had excellent communication, especially in the lead-up to our wedding day. All of our wedding florals exceeded my expectations in every possible way. It felt like my Pinterest board had come to life—only better. I have never seen an arrangement as beautiful as my bridal bouquet. I couldn’t help but tear up when Sal handed it to me; it was beyond anything I had imagined. Our guests, vendors, and venue staff couldn’t stop admiring and complimenting the flowers. From the beginning, I felt like Sal from Flora and Dean understood my vision better than I could even explain it. He was so informative, thoughtful, and reassuring throughout the entire process. He was truly the only vendor I felt like I didn’t have to worry about — I completely trusted him.
The ceremony space looked like something out of a storybook. I was absolutely blown away by what he created. The reception was just as stunning. It was romantic and elevated. Walking in was one of the most special moments of the whole day.
I’m still not over everything he created. So, so grateful. HIGHLY recommend booking them for your wedding!! I would work with them again in a heartbeat. -

I can’t say enough good things about Sal and Flora + Dean! From the very beginning, he went above and beyond to help me create the wedding florals of my dreams while staying within my budget — something that felt impossible until I met him.
He was so flexible, patient, and genuinely cared about bringing my vision to life. Every time we talked, I could tell he truly wanted me to feel confident and happy with every detail, not just sell me on something bigger or more expensive. That kind of integrity and care is rare, and it made all the difference.
The end result was absolutely stunning — better than I even imagined. My bouquet, the ceremony arrangements, and the reception centerpieces were all so thoughtfully designed and beautifully executed. I’ve honestly never seen my venue photograph or look so good for any other event than it did for my wedding.

It was an absolute dream to work with Flora and Dean. When we had consultation calls with other florists, it was a quick five minute call, but with Sal we talked for easily 20 minutes, and he just "got it" even when we didn't really know what our vision was! If there's one thing we'll take away from our wedding, it's how above and beyond Fora + Dean went for our florals and decor. My husband and I came to Sal wanting to do something a little more athletic and out-of-the-box than the typical floral arrangements you see at a wedding. We're both Italian and from New York so we wanted to incorporate produce and herbs in the table scape. Sal took our vision and not only brought it to life but RAN with it!! Our guests couldn't get over how stunning our decor was. It was the number one thing people were talking about!! When we booked our wedding venue (Clark’s Landing) we saw a photo of a beautiful nest of orange and yellow flowers and immediately knew that’s what we wanted for our wedding with blues and whites! I immediately reached out to Sal at Flora & Dean. I knew from our first phone call I wanted him to be our florist. He knew exactly what I wanted and when he sent me the mood board I screamed with joy. The day of our wedding he blew me away with his work on my bouquet and the other bridal bouquets. Then the moment I saw the work of art he created for our ceremony space I got emotional and he was one of the first people I texted thanking him for what he had created. I had the pleasure of meeting his wife Kaitlyn the next day and she was so sweet. Their teamwork is amazing and I’m so glad we chose to work with them. I couldn’t recommend them more. They don’t just work with flowers, they create art and I am so grateful for them.

I knew Sal and the team at Flora + Dean were the perfect fit for my wedding flowers + decor from the start. Minutes into our initial consultation phone call, I knew Sal and I were completely on the same page as far as budget, aesthetics, creativity, and a shared love for Harry Potter! Only after sharing with him a few inspiration photos from Pinterest, he was able to pull together an entire detailed mood board with notes and pictures of what he envisioned could be possible for our wedding at The Estate at Florentine Gardens. Sal’s mood board brought tears to my eyes, and I was instantly sold that Flora + Dean was the right choice for our wedding day! I fully trusted their suggestions along the way and had zero hesitation that they were going to blow me away. Throughout the planning process, the team at Flora + Dean were quick to communicate with me as I solidified details for the big day and answered any questions I had along the way. Flora + Dean completely transformed the entry lobby, ceremony space and reception room into a chic Vogue-cover atmosphere with unique touches that I’ve never seen done before with floral arrangements.
Let’s take a moment to talk about my wedding bouquet. It was absolutely insane. Sal created the perfect combination of classic + chic but unique and whimsical all at the same time. I didn’t think this was even possible. I can’t wait to preserve it so I can keep it forever! Working with Sal, Kaitlyn and the Flora+Dean team was truly an amazing experience. After having our initial meeting, and being one of the first vendors we booked, we knew we were in trusted hands. Sal understood all our wants and exceeded all our expectations at that.
Despite welcoming his beautiful daughter into the world just days before our wedding, Sal spared no attention to detail, and made sure our day was even more beautiful than we could have imagined. The pictures speak for themselves!
All of the florals and centerpieces were beautiful, organic and intentional. The mix of traditional and nontraditional elements to their work are truly unmatched. Their level of expertise lends them a unique touch to every one of their events, making your big day uniquely yours.

First off, we am blown away by Flora and Dean. Working with Sal and Kaitlyn has been an experience we will never forget. We booked them immediately as our first vendor knowing they were who we wanted to make our florals and centerpieces beautiful. We were so happy we booked them when we did because they are booked two years out! The planning process was easy and their expertise was really helpful. When you are planning a wedding, you have no idea where to start. Sal's mood board was beyond what we could have expected. He listened carefully to the wants our ceremony and reception and made it appear. I really wanted sunflowers as the focus and he made sure they were elevated in every piece. When we got closer to our wedding, we discussed wedding centerpieces and additional table decor. When we saw the huge candelabra and tall gold centerpieces, we fell in love. He supported our flowers being non traditional, vibrant, and bright, We mixed the sizes of the centerpieces and it elevated the event greatly. My bouquet was breathtaking and beyond my expectations. I could go on and on but the pictures will say it all. Everyone at the event commented how stunning the florals and center pieces were. My husband was blown away and I definitely started to cry happy tears when I saw the empty reception room before the ceremony. Flora and Dean will never disappoint and they are certainly the best in the business. Book them fast because you may not be able to! You will have an amazing experience working with Flora and Dean. The best florist ever!
Call Flora & Dean immediately! Sal and his team made our wedding floral dreams come true and far exceeded any/all expectations we had (and the expectations were high). By far, the comment we got the most from our guests on our wedding day was that we had the most beautiful wedding flowers they have ever seen – and it’s true. I love that I will get to stare at them in photos every day for the rest of my life.
The entire process was seamless and honestly so enjoyable. Not only is Sal amazing at his craft, but he is the absolute nicest/kindest person to work with - I genuinely enjoyed our planning calls and you can tell how passionate he is. He and his team were detail oriented, organized and so efficient – they listened to any concerns we had and kept us closely involved. After our initial meeting, Sal created a mood board for the various floral components that we legitimately used for everything – we referenced it for bridal dresses, shared it with other vendors and used it to coordinate other wedding colors with. Flora and Dean legitimately made our wedding day – I wish anyone/everyone would be so lucky to get to work with them!

Me & my mom met with one other florist before meeting Sal and immediately emailed the first person to let them know we decided to go in a different direction the moment we left our consultation meeting.
Sal felt like family from the moment we met him. He is kind, funny, personable, attentive, patient and most importantly, excited to create. You can tell how passionate he is about each individual event he curates for and watching all of his behind the scenes on his Instagram stories are the best.
We showed him our venue (Felina) and some inspo pictures and he exceeded every expectation I had on wedding day. He worked well within our budget. At our final design meeting, I basically changed half the vision and with a smile on his face, he had no problem at all!
Sal hand delivered my bouquet the morning of before heading to our venue to set up. He is such a breath of fresh air for being apart of such a crazy industry. I cannot thank him enough for going above & beyond on our day, especially setting up some extra details at the venue for us!!

Flora + Dean! Honestly, I don’t think words can truly describe how amazing their work is but I will try. Sal was a pleasure from the moment we first spoke for our consultation. The excitement and care he expressed was so heartwarming. When I hung up with Sal, I just knew he was the one who was going to bring my vision to life. Two years later, my wedding day was finally here and let me tell you - WHAT A DREAM! When Sal first walked in with my bouquet, I cried instantly. Such a beauty! My centerpieces were absolutely magnificent! Sal and his team created two different centerpieces for my tables that were both equally beautiful, elegant, and grand! My guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful they were, especially my father. During some downtime between pictures, my father went into the reception room to watch Sal put together his pieces and he couldn’t believe how it all came to life. He was so impressed with Sal and how he was analyzing each flower placement. He said he could really tell that he cared about how every single detail looked. Everything was truly flawless, classy, and beautiful. I’m so happy I found Flora + Dean. Definitely one of the best bridal decisions I made. Seriously RUN to hire Sal. You will not regret it. Owner Sal and his team are absolutely amazing!
We recently had our wedding at the Park Chateau in East Brunswick, NJ and used Flora and Dean for all of our florals.
With 150 guests and 24 in our Bridal Party, we needed centerpieces for 15 tables in the ballroom, florals for the ceremony in Chapel, florals for all bridesmaids, bouts for groomsman, staircase florals and florals for our sweetheart table and cake. We also had specific needs surrounding budget and Sal went above and beyond to get creative and work within it. Sal listened to exactly what I wanted as the Bride and was able to work with me to bring my vision to life. The execution of what we discussed for the big day couldn’t have been more exact and perfect.
Not only was the quality of customer service including speedy response time, family oriented culture and pleasant demeanor of owner Sal and team wonderful, but the florals themselves were unbelievably STUNNING! We were blown away with how beautiful the colors, flower types, and presentation were - it was one of, if not THE highlight of our wedding. We were so pleased with the result and many guests commented on the beauty of our arrangements. I cannot recommend Sal and the staff at Flora + Dean, enough! They are incredible to work with. They are kind, considerate, attentive, responsive, and such professionals at what they do. Their work speaks easily for itself - in the beautiful floral arrangements that were made for us & all of their other brides. But what we loved most about working with Sal & the team was the comfort we felt from our first initial meeting until the day of the wedding. He was willing to listen to everything we wanted while also helping to create something unique. No matter how many times we changed our minds or adjusted what we were looking for, he was willing to listen and adapt as needed. I truly did not have anything “specific” in mind as I wasn’t sure where to start and provided very vague descriptions of what I was looking for and yet with very little information given, Sal and the team created a floral dream I didn’t know I even had. Flora + Dean. There are truly no words to describe the work, effort, talent and love they have for every piece they do. I had a vision for my wedding and I needed my flowers to be my wow factor and they exceeded my expectations. Seeing my bouquet and the room, my jaw was on the floor. What Sal created for our wedding was beyond my wildest dreams. His design was nothing like I’ve ever seen on Pinterest or wedding blogs. He brought to life the true essence of our wedding day - honoring our modern vintage style while meeting our sustainability standards and budget. He made sure local NJ flowers were used in our arrangements and worked with our uniquely curated vintage vessels.
A true work of art - Sal outdid himself with the blooms. Stunning flowers of the highest quality adorned every inch of our historical mansion venue. Wildly romantic and antique with textures to grab your attention - each table was uniquely captivating. All the other vendors raved about Sal while he was onsite - complimenting not only his work but his lovely energy. The moment Sal handed me my bridal bouquet was a pinch-me moment I will cherish forever. In that moment I truly felt like a bride. We had Sal’s flowers up-cycled after the wedding by Forget Me Knot flowers - spreading love and light to those who need it most on hospice. Flora and Dean was an absolute DREAM to work with for my wedding! From start to finish, Sal (the owner) was sooo easy to work with... he is funny, personable, professional, and you can tell he's very passionate about what he does. I sent Sal my inpso pics from Pinterest and he was able to give me the perfect vision of what I wanted but within my budget. The communication leading up to the wedding was phenomenal... he frequently checked in and I was able to email or call him whenever I needed to discuss details, any changes, or day of timeline things... and he always responded promptly. Even the day of my wedding- he was early and set everything up so perfectly and quietly I didn't even know he was there!!! He greeted me with the biggest smile and congratulating me on my big day! He gave me and my bridesmaids our bouquets and showed us the proper way to hold them for photos- which was so appreciated! He came back at the end of the reception to break down the bigger centerpieces, and I couldn't be more thrilled to see him and his wife Kaitlyn and tell them how much everybody loved the flowers. My sister and mother even hired them to do my bridal shower florals months prior (which I was so also thrilled with) because I spoke so highly of Flora and Dean and they wanted to give him more business. EVERYBODY couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous my flowers were at both parties! Sal is not a cookie cutter florist- and it shows. Every single flower he chooses and where he places them is so thought out and calculated. He truly creates magic and I will forever be grateful to Flora and dean for making my special occasions so memorable and beautiful! -

I worked with Sal from Flora & Dean for my baby shower this past June and couldn’t be happier. The florals, balloons and dessert were gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. He took the time to talk over my vision with me and brought it life in excellent fashion. After struggling to find a florists, my wife and I came across Flora + Dean at a wedding we were at. Sal is one of the most genuine and honest vendors we had. The process was so professional and his ability to turn my wife's vision in to reality was amazing. The work Sal does is amazing but his flexibility to work within our budget was unbelievable. Going with Flora+Dean is one of the smartest choices you can make for your wedding or event!
