DJ Patrick was Fabulous!

We hired First Class Events after meeting Dave at a bridal show. DJ Patrick was our wedding DJ and he kept the party going! I've had so many guests tell me how much fun our wedding was. Patrick made sure to check in with us throughout the evening and kept the party running smoothly. Very professional company, with a great online system for selecting songs and creating a timeline. Will definitely recommend First Class Events to my friends!

Very happy with our DJ and MC team. I didn't realize that we'd be getting two separate people though, I thought the DJ was going to MC as well, but it worked out very well for our wedding. They were attentive to our planning process and listening to our requests and do not play lists.

First Class Events is a wonderful company to work with and I would highly recommend them! Dave is very helpful and was constantly checking in before the event to make sure everything was prepared and ready to go the way I wanted it. Our DJ did a great job and everyone was dancing the entire time! Great company and very professional.

Everyone that I worked with at FCE was an absolute pleasure and very helpful for us in our planning! Our officiant was excellent and very laid back which was exactly what we wanted and his ability to play along with my husband's sarcasm was entertaining to all the attendees. The ceremony set up was gorgeous and everything I could have imagined. All the meetings were done over the phone which was great for us, but there were appointments available to meet in person. The online planning forms for the reception and music selection made planning very convenient, but David was there to help us through anything we didn't understand. The DJ did an amazing job of selecting the right music to keep everyone on the dance floor. The whole evening was perfect!

I can't say enough about Dave and his staff at First Class Events. They really took the time to listen to want I wanted and envisioned for my wedding day. The ceremony was absolutely gorgeous. Dave and his staff did such a wonderful job. They executed every detail that I requested. Not to mention they spent multiple hours via phone consultations to go over every detail and answer any questions I had. I would highly recommend them to any bride that is planning a wedding in the Sarasota area.

Wow! We are so pleased with First Class Events Rick (photographer), Jerome (DJ), and Dave (contact person). They were all so helpful and easygoing throughout the planning stages as well as the ceremony and reception. Rick has an outgoing personality and took a zillion pictures. Mitch and I are not photogenic, but we are having a difficult time deciding which pictures we want because we have fallen in love with so many. I have a HUGE family and Rick was able to get many fantastic photos with everyone looking great. We also have a special needs son that had a few overwhelming moments and Rick was able to redirect him and include our son which we are so grateful! Jerome was wonderful in the span of songs he played! I would say 95% of our guests danced at some point during the reception! Jerome also lead a couple of dances that we needed help with, he ROCKS! They both kept us on schedule and we are grateful that they were with us! Awesome personalities and very professional!

Dave and his team at First Class Events were just that - first class! Ryan came and played for our company Christmas Party and he played a great mix of popular, holiday, and dance music. We were literally dancing until time ran out! I would recommend FCE for any party, wedding, or special event. They simply cannot be beat!

Thank you so much to Dave and his team at First Class Events for making our wedding so perfect! They managed our DJ for the reception, the cocktail hour music, a harpist for our ceremony, set up our officiant, set us up with a photobooth, set us up with videography, and helped me in the wedding planning process. Everything was amazing!

Our guests could not stop raving about the awesome party we had thanks to our DJ and the photobooth. They made everything seem so effortless on their part, which made it so that we could really enjoy our own wedding. There are not enough words of gratitude that I can say for these awesome people! Thank you so much for making our day so special!

FCE made our special day amazingly unforgettable. I couldn't believe it turned out as beautiful as it did. The service was excellent. The beach set up and theme was perfect. Our guests are still raving about our wedding. The DJ provided a variety of our favorite songs that made our guests dance all night. The photographer was extremely patient and there to capture every precious moment. We are so happy that we used FCE for our wedding.

The D.J. kept the party going the entire time. He kept the guests on the floor the whole night. He mixed the songs well and had everything set and ready to go prior to the start of the event. He was well prepared, well organized and made great song selections.

We met this vendor at a bridal show, won the door prize and decided to book them after receiving a recommendation from another one of our vendors (not to mention, they were not pushy like some of the others we met). Everyone we spoke to were very polite, knowledgeable, and very professional. The DJ that we had for the wedding (Johnny Be Good) was not the one we originally thought...and it was certainly a pleasant surprise!! Johnny had called us a few nights before to give us a run down of what to expect...personally, I was a bit skeptical. Much to our surprise, Johnny did everything he said he was going to and much more!! In the midst of Johnny coordinating the details of our wedding/reception as it was taking place, my husband noticed from across the room, Johnny serving me hors d'oeuvres after our photos...it was then he realized that we had nothing more to do but to enjoy the rest of the most wonderful day of our lives. My husband and I were very impressed with him and would absolutely recommend First Class Events anytime. We also had a videographer, I wasn't sure about it in the beginning...my husband talked me into it. I am very glad we decided to have one made. They captured some of the most wonderful parts of the evening and it was beautifully made...again very impressive. In fact, we liked it so much that we've ordered several copies for those in our wedding party!!

First Class Events far exceeded my expectations as a bride! I didn't have to worry about a thing! They provided an archway (chuppa), chairs, chair covers and bows, and a DJ. They moved all the chairs from our beach ceremony into the reception. They were fast, professional, and efficient. I spoke with our DJ, Mark, a couple days before the wedding and he was great! He was calming and even gave great advice to just enjoy our day! Everything was perfect! I highly recommend First Class Events!

We used First Class events for our wedding and love them ! Dave made our planning stress free and Jerome was great at our wedding. Our guests loved how he had each table request a theme song for my husband and I and he played the songs throughout the evening. I would recommend first class events (and already have) to anyone planning a wedding!

I had a videographer already set to come to my June 2nd wedding. A month before the wedding I was not able to use my original DJ- First Class Events had someone for me and saved the day! The DJ did an excellent job facilitating the entire evening. His name was Jerome. For a crowd that (for some reason) didn't want to get up and dance- they did! He was very professional and would highly recommend him for any event. The videographer did a great job as well (Ron K) and stayed with us for everything we did. I can't wait to see the video he captured!

Words cannot express how wonderful everything went with First Class Events. The beach ceremony set up was absolutely perfect. We got married on Siesta Key beach and the white chairs, decorations, and chuppa made for gorgeous pictures! They supplied a bag pipper for the ceremony and it made for a quite emotional ceremony. As for the reception, the Dj did a great job at keeping the flow of events and most importantly, EVERYONE danced! I mean, even my 70 yr old Great Aunt was dancing! I'm one of 4 friends in our group that got married this year and they all said that they've never seen a crowd all dance, all night like they did at our wedding. Thank you First Class Events, you guys really out did yourselves!!!

We had a great experience with First Class Events for our wedding reception. The cost was reasonable and they allowed us to finance which was a huge help with all the other wedding expenses we had to consider. Our DJ was prompt, professional, and knew how to get people on the floor. They offer online forms so you can fill out your requests and timeline before the event. The owner of the company called us two weeks before our wedding to firm up the plans and our DJ called us the week of the wedding to nail down the details (e.g., how to pronounce our bridal party members names for introductions, timeline of the events, etc.). During the reception, he played EVERY SONG that I filled out on my Request form. He also made it so everyone had a great time, even if they weren't dancing, by getting them involved in the bouquet/garter toss and cake cutting. he gave our honored bridal party members a pep talk before they gave their speeches, which they told me they REALLY appreciate. He even played one last song AFTER the "requested" last song at the special request of the groom. He helped us create memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives and we are THRILLED with our decision to hire First Class Events for our wedding. We still have friends and family contacting us two months after to tell us what a great time they had at the reception!

I would recommend BridesFirst to anyone looking for outstanding service and fun, attentive people to help make their wedding day or any special occasion go perfectly. Michael from BrideFirst was soooo helpful and was able to adapt to changes in the plan within seconds without anyone noticing. BridesFirst impressed me well beyond I thought possible.

Michael provided us with excellent service for our wedding. He was extremely professional, played the songs we requested, and added in his own mix when the group got a little quiet. He was very personable and interacted with myself and the guests, which made everyone feel more at ease. In addition to the great service provided at the wedding, you guys did an awesome job of meeting our budget!!! If anyone ever asks who I would recommend, it is definitely going to be dj4rent.com!

Jonny was the officiant and DJ at my wedding, and he did a fantastic job. I got so many compliments from my guests and he really made the day perfect. My Dad was not feeling good after the ceremony and Jon made sure that he was taken care of. I would highly recommend for you wedding.

Johnny, was my DJ at our wedding reception. He was amazing! The company was great in setting up my services the price was decent. Not the least expensive not the most. It was well worth every penny. Johnny paced out our whole reception. He even made sure me, my groom and my bridal party had our drinks and a small snack between the ceremony and reception. He also solved a small upset with my new sister in-law and her seat at the reception. Overall he went above and beyond anything I could have imagined in a DJ. Thank you, for making me realize with the right people what I thought could be a stressful night truly the best night of my life!

I loved my DJ and I wouldn't have chosen anyone else for the job. As a friend of mine outside of DJ'ing he and his family that run the company are all great people. They are very flexible if something is changed last minute (and trust me, we had A LOT of last minute changes lol) Very professional with everything and great with knowing exactly what you're looking for. This was the second time that I had used their services for my events and I would hire them again :)

First Class Events completely "won" our wedding back in November 2013. Not a doubt in my mind. They were on time, completely flexible, and knew exactly what I needed. I had a very exact timeframe for each song, they were very sure of that and played exactly what my wife and I both wanted during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner time. During the dance section, they followed my rules specifically and played requests and some of my more special dance segments, even going as far as to compliment me on my selections. Everyone who attended the wedding said the music was fantastic and I can't thank First Class Events more for those compliments.

Review every detail, be very specific! If you're getting a photo booth, make sure to mention multiple times if you'd like copies of all the pictures. They cannot retrieve them after the wedding is over. As for the DJ, music was great and they played most of the songs I requested.

I am so glad we got a video of our wedding! We were debating because of cost, but ultimately it was such a good decision. David Flom was the videographer and he is very professional and respectful. He and his son blended into the background so we hardly noticed them, yet we still got impressive video coverage of our wedding. David assured us to relax and enjoy our time without worrying about the video. We had an outdoor wedding at the beach, so some of the wording of our toasts were faint, but overall I felt like they listened to what I wanted and we are extremely happy with our video. Thanks David!

First Class Events was our main vendor. They provided our officiant, day of coordinator, photographer and DJ, they set up our altar and chairs, decorated the chairs with the covers and bows and even moved those chairs from the ceremony site to reception site for us. Dave Brown is the one we worked with the most. He was very flexible and patient with me through the 8,000 times I changed something. His assistant Luisa is amazing. She's so nice and knows exactly what she's doing. The photographer Lisa was on her game too. I was nervous about the pics because we had a rough experience with our engagement photos with a different photographer and I wanted the wedding pics to be perfect and they were. She gave great direction on poses and props and was quick to get the 2 page list done I gave her :) The DJ did need some work. I gave him a very detailed list of events for recpetion and he missed some things. He skipped the prayer before dinner, and having a religious family, it was kind of a big deal. My brother had just passed and I really wanted my dad to include that in his prayer and the DJ never paused long enough to do it. Also, he played the one song I had on my do not play list. The flower girl did request it, but it was on the DO NOT PLAY list! Awkward moment :/ And it says "included in DJ price" was a lightshow and there was no lightshow for us. Also, we had given Dave our wedding colors but the colors of the bows on the chairs and on the altar were not even close to my colors, but on that day, that was the last thing I cared about. After all was said and done, the price was quite a bit more than we had anticipated. Almost double actually, but it was still okay. It was easy to have all those things under one contract and just send one check to one place for all of it.

HUGE Letdown. The company changed DJ's on us last minute (10:30AM...Wedding Started at 3:30PM). Situation wasn't handled professionally. My wife had to send the new DJ the song list while getting her hair and makeup done which made for a bad vibe the day of the wedding. Company owner could have sent the list to the new DJ but this was too much too ask apparently. Instead of trying to make things right, there was instead a push to charge us more money and push add-on features last minute. Overall, We had a poor experience and after 2-3 weeks of going back and forth (Our requested refund was less than 40% of the actual total) the company issued us 20% of our requested refund. Weddings are a huge deal and this vendor disappointed.

My fiancé and I were thrilled to find First Class Events since we were planning our Boca Grande wedding from our home in Illinois. They even had a video of a beautiful wedding and reception on their site in the exact location we were having ours. I knew something was amiss however when I tried getting in touch with the decorator a month before the wedding and was told it was really early and not to worry. I tried contacting the women in charge of decorating our beach wedding more than twice a week. It was even to the point that the day before the wedding I called again, this time very upset that I was not able to get a hold of her. Finally, I was told by the manager to just leave a message of what we wanted with him. I let him know that I wanted the very simple bamboo with white sheers and some pink flowers with the greenery. When I arrived for the wedding they were late setting up which made us run almost an hour late for our reception, which the DJ ended 45 minutes early. The poles were wrapped in blue, yellow, and white. The flowers were many colors. You could also see the black step stool through the white cloth that was our "table" for our sand ceremony. I was not happy. The next day I was called by the manager and I expressed my frustration and I was told that I should have said something that day. I told him I wasn't about to pitch a fit coming down the aisle. He was very rude and then apologized because he was tired. All of our pictures look like a circus; so disappointing. Of course the day is not about those things in the end, but I would NEVER recommend First Class Events!
