Absolute perfect experience
Ashley and her team went over and above making the perfect wedding for my wife and I. The attention to detail was out of this world. If I could go back there is nothing I would change about the experience, I would recommend her to all of my friends. Ashley is such a creative mind and lovely soul. -

What can I say about Ashley and her team that will capture the truly INCREDIBLE experience we had? It is very difficult to put into words!
Ashley and her team are without a doubt the most professional, friendly, and flexible team we have had the pleasure of working with for event planning. Our wedding planning was something we had stressed about for some time, but from day one of working with Ashley... it became a breeze! Not only that, but we were kept in the loop 100% of the time so there was never a question of where things were headed, what we needed to do, etc. We felt like we were in control even though Ashley and her team did EVERYTHING! Even little things that we couldn't decide on, Ashley was always there to lend advice and keep us on track without pressuring us into anything. Our stress turned into excitement thanks to her!
For the day itself, we had ideas of what we wanted and those ideas, once in Ashley's hands, became a reality and exceeded our wildest expectations. There was not a single thing I would change and I still receive texts/calls weeks after the wedding from friends saying how incredible it all was. I've seen some other designs/events that Ashley has done and I have to say... she can do it all. Whatever your dream is, she will deliver!
Ashley made our wedding the event that we wanted and then some. Something we will remember for the rest of our lives. From start to finish... PERFECT. She is the only event planner I will ever recommend to anyone from this point on. The greatest of all time, the G.O.A.T!! -

Festoons & Flourishes is the best wedding planner we could have ever dreamed of working with for our big day. We truly cannot imagine our dream day or the journey to getting there without Ashley. From our very first meeting, she listened and paid attention to who we are as a couple, our story, our style, and more to create a unique vision for our wedding. With her creative genius and artful eye, this vision highlighted and celebrated our love story/journey in very personal ways. She made everything magical and beautiful. It was a gorgeous day with large and small details that were beautiful, elegant, and personal! The experience of working with Ashley, from the very first day we reached out to even after the wedding day, has been such a pleasure. We so enjoyed working with Ashley and collaborating with her throughout the process - it was really fun to bounce ideas off of each other, learn so much about each other, and share so much together. Getting engaged is so exciting and the idea of wedding planning can be overwhelming, but Ashley’s level of experience, expertise, and calm demeanor helped to ensure that the process of planning was enjoyable and reassured us that our wedding would be seamless and spectacular…which it certainly was!!! She is extremely organized was able to bring soooo many moving parts together in amazingly efficient and effective ways. Ashley was an amazing advocate and support system during such an exciting time. After having to postpone our wedding date by almost a whole year and dealing with the uncertainty of planning during a pandemic, Ashley made what would have been a difficult/uncertain time for us alone, manageable and still celebratory every step of the way. She truly thought of every detail leading up to and on the wedding day - we were able to fully enjoy the day without any worries because we were confident Festoons & Flourishes had everything handled! Our guests were blown away and still talk about the amazing experience they had on our special day. We could go on and on about the fantastic experience we have had with Ashley. She made sure we felt celebrated and cared for throughout this entire process. Thank you so much for making our wedding our most magical day ever - we love you! -

Ashley made our wedding reception everything we could've dreamed of and more. My husband and I are not "normal".... We have a very unconventional way of going about things. What's more, is that we are lazy and didn't want to have to come up with any plans on our own. Our ideas of "awesome" are a bit over-the-top but Ashley handled us like the pro that she is. She went above and beyond down to every detail and made our Wedding Bash not only speak to our personalities in a classy way (NOT easy to do, lol) but made our reception the best experience for our guests. And we barely had to lift a finger! My husband and I were told multiple times by our guests that our reception was the best and most fun they'd ever had. Guests couldn't stop talking about it for a week afterwards. None of it would've been possible without Ashley. I would hire her 100 times over if I could. If I ever have another wedding (hopefully not, lol) she'll be the one to help me plan it. If you're lucky enough to book her, don't waste any more time. Your event is guaranteed to be incredible in the hands of Ashley. -

In A League of Her Own
This is an unqualified and enthusiastic review of Festoons & Flourishes as the very best wedding/event planner in Michigan. Ashley and her team organized and executed the most breathtaking wedding imaginable for my son and daughter-in-law following one pandemic postponement from 2020. I had so many guests say they have never been to a wedding that was a more perfect combination of elegance and just crazy good fun. It was absolutely gorgeous (kudos to Detroit Design Co), and every detail was executed flawlessly. Ashley channeled the bride and groom’s desire for a guest focused wedding which ensured everyone had an absolutely wonderful time. It was a weekend destination event involving 4 different venues over a three-day period - in other words, so many moving parts that it was impossible for a mere mortal to track. Notwithstanding the complexity, it all went incredibly smoothly thanks to Ashley. She’s a true pro - positive, unflappable, persistent, and flexible. She has a great relationship with the best vendors in the State and pulled off more than her share of miracles for us over this past year. I can’t recommend her highly enough. -

The best decision ever
Ashley is hands down the best event planner around. She planned my Bridal Soiree in just three weeks! An unconventional bridal shower, a seven-course dinner party with ALL the details was executed so excellently as if she’s done this type of event a million times over. A party that would have easily taken my family and I months to put together. She truly left me speechless day of my party, and most importantly made ME feel like a guest and not a host. She literally did it all and then some.
Ashley is a real pleasure to work with- A true professional who is respectful of your budget and is all about honesty. Her confidence, her brilliant & new ideas, her passion is truly showcased in her events from start to finish. I’m forever grateful to have found somebody who cares so much about the event as if it was her own. Ashley doesn’t just bring the event to life; she creates an experience that will last as a memory forever! I will continue to work with Ashley for any event - wedding, baby shower, birthdays, and anything in-between. Ashley is an event planner that turned into family after three short weeks, and that to me speaks volumes about somebody’s character. I can't say enough about how fantastic Ashley is-- she was able to give us peace of mind on our big day so that we could fully enjoy the moment and I am so appreciative of that. Ashley has a tremendous amount of attention to detail (as a Type A person I don't throw that compliment around lightly!) and her eye for style made for an absolutely gorgeous wedding. Both my husband and I felt truly listened to while working with Ashley and-- most importantly-- she was both respectful and upfront with us about our budget and what we would and wouldn't be able to do design-wise, which I really appreciate. Working with a wedding planner means putting a ton of trust into that person and I couldn't have been happier with the relationship Ashley developed with us-- we trusted her implicitly and she delivered every single time. Nothing short of amazing!! -

If there was one vendor I could recommend out of all of my fabulous vendors it would undoubtedly be Ashley at Festoons & Flourishes. Throughout the entire process, she was our source of positivity, excitement, creativity, and ORGANIZATION. Oh, I could wax poetically on just how beautifully organized she is. Because of her professionalism and attention to detail, there was never a moment throughout the year-long planning that I was worried.
We had so many vendors, two locations, multiple caterers...so many moving parts. We did not make the job easy for her, but I knew that Ashley would get it done and that it would be perfect. There's really no way to thank someone who helps plan the most incredible day of your life, but we are eternally grateful. -

As a floral designer, I had the pleasure of working with Ashley of Festoons & Flourishes who curated the most incredible wildflower-inspired wedding. Ashley brought us in to do the floral design and she is truly one of the best in the biz. She has such an amazing attention to detail, and every decision she makes is with the couple's best interest at heart. She is creative and I've never seen her do the same thing twice. She is organized, communicative, and someone you want in your corner for your wedding day. She pushes the limits on what it means to be a planner/designer and the end product is absolutely remarkable. It's easy to see why she is in such high demand and it will be an honor to get to work with her again! -

The first thing I tell engaged couples now is "GET A DAY OF COORDINATOR STAT!!! This, and a good photographer, were the best investments we made on our wedding day. From the beginning, Ashley put us at ease. She was there to answer all of our questions and walk us through everything. She made our day go so smoothly. My parents were able to relax and enjoy the day as well, because she had everything under control. I highly, highly recommend Festoons and Flourishes. -

I’m returning a whole year after our wedding to write a review (busy year) because I cannot stress enough how amazing Ashley was as a wedding planner. Our venue recommended her to us as their first choice for planners and I’m so glad we hired her. She was incredibly professional, thorough and confident, very obviously experienced - It gave me great peace of mind knowing our wedding day was in her hands (which is absolutely priceless for an otherwise stressed-out bride). Hands down the greatest investment while planning our wedding. She was, as my mother in law put it, “worth her weight in gold.” -

Ryan Sent on 02/15/2018Ashley was exceedingly professional in every aspect of her coordination services, from when we first met at a Bridal event to correspondence beyond our wedding day. Her attention to detail and efficiency were evident throughout the planning process, and truly seamless the day of our wedding. We sought her out for reception coordination services at the Howell Opera House and were beyond impressed, hiring Ashley was one of the best investments of our wedding budget and wasn't even on our radar when we began! The “homework” assignments she tasked me with helped me re-prioritize when I was getting bogged down with the stress that comes with planning a wedding in under five months.
The most challenging aspect of planning for me was compiling the timeline of events for the day of the wedding. Her confident guidance and plethora of experience made this painful task seem like an easy puzzle to fit together. The completed itinerary impressed all of our Vendors, especially our photographers who knew what to expect from the time they arrived on location…and they helped us stick to the schedule, as it was so intricate that our timeline seemingly flowed with precision. I was also able to share all of the months of detailed planning with our Bridal Party & immediate family members in advance so they know where they were expected at all times; it not only was a relief for me, but they all appreciated having this information at their fingertips so as not to stumble on any surprises as the blur of our wedding day passed by.
Ashley was the perfect “shadow” in the room at our reception, invisible to our guests, but so easy for us or members of our Bridal Party to find when her assistance was needed. I was truly amazed at all the little details I found out after the fact. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone I know getting married or having any sort of large event requiring expert guidance and detailed efficiency. -
Eric Sent on 02/06/2018With Ashley as our wedding coordinator, we could feel relaxed and at ease knowing that everything was being handled on our big day. She worked up a timeline and made sure that all vendors were on the same page and well harmonized. Ashley addressed any issue that occurred without having to get us involved. She handled transporting our gift and gift cards to our room to ensure their safety, took care of the setting up and coordinating of the reception room (favors, chair covers, napkin placement, etc). Knowing that Ashley was involved in all aspects of our wedding completely allowed us to feel care free and enjoy our it to the fullest. We would highly recommend her for your wedding!!!

She came to our home and helped us organize and create exactly what we envisioned for wedding: simple elegance. Our day of coordinator, Morgan, was EXTREMELY flexible and professional. I didn't go to the bar once during our reception- she delivered wine to me on the dance floor all night! Morgan transported my mom, brother, and one of my bridesmaids back to the hotel at the end of the reception when the final shuttle didn't show up! I would highly recommend Festoons and Flourishes to all couple planning a wedding.

My partner and I planned a nondenominational wedding using our friend as our officiant so we were a little nervous about making the day go smoothly. Having Ashley to consult with, bounce ideas off of, and take charge when need be, lifted a huge weight off our shoulders and was a huge reason for our day being so perfect. I HIGHLY recommend Ashley's services and I know she is the reason I was able to relax and truly enjoy my wedding day 100%.
