Like family catered our wedding!

Filomena has a gift when it comes to food. We are so incredibly happy we found her and grateful for her help throughout the entire process. She executes with an unpretentious confidence that trickles down through her staff, food, and service.

We hosted a backyard wedding and what her and her team were able to do with 200 square feet of prep space was incredible.

Everything from cocktail hour to the after party snacks was outstanding. Food recommendations at end of review.

She and her team are fully capable and equipped to handle whatever the day throws at them. Our entire town lost power 90 minutes before guests showed up and they were able to shift on the fly. I repeat, MY ENTIRE TOWN LOST POWER ON MY WEDDING DAY and it didn’t stop anyone in their tracks. That alone is reason for a five-star review.

We left all logistics and execution to Filomena and her team’s very capable hands and we couldn’t be happier. It’s like they were there, but they weren’t. Operations were fluid, food was incredible, and our guests (and we) were blown away by the service. Her staff was friendly and accommodating.

The food was so good we wish she did meal plans but we will be certain to leverage her catering for future parties and events. We didn’t have the chance to try everything but considering that all food was gone by the end of the night and the leftovers we’ve been enjoying are still delicious, we can vouch that Filomena is long island’s best. Lastly, with weddings as with life, you get what you pay for and Filomena and her team were worth every penny.

Food Reccos:

The Lamb Chops - Guests were hunting down runners for these. No joke, many a photo of guest with chop in hand.

Shrimp Scampi - Some of the best and most tender shrimp I’ve ever had and I had my first bite the day after the wedding…

Key Lime Pie - Perfectly tart, lime zest in the whipped cream, just enough graham cracker, perfect custard.

Moussaka - I’m Greek and this is the perfect rendition of moussaka sans cinnamon. Will please both Greeks and Non-Greeks.

Chicken Piccata - The family is still debating how she gets the chicken so tender. Is it sous vide? Is it brined? Is it delicately steamed? Who knows, who cares, it was awesome!

The Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup bites were an Hors D’oeuvre that we didn’t know we needed in our lives until we had them on our wedding day.

Meatballs - If we had a wedding dinner that was composed entirely of meatballs and focaccia, I know plenty of guests who would have been thrilled.

The best caterer you will find!

Most people don’t necessarily think of “wedding food” to be something people will rave about for weeks after. That is certainly not the case with Filomena’s meals! Everyone at our wedding couldn’t get enough of each of the dishes she prepared, especially the vegan shepherds pie (and this coming from a bunch of meat lovers!). From the appetizers to the cute mini mason jar desserts, everything was phenomenal. I would highly recommend her and her team (especially Mandi who we couldn't have done this without!) Thanks for being such an incredible addition to our memorable day!

Unforgettable Food and Service!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Filomena and her team. From the very beginning, working with them was seamless. Filomena made the planning process for our wedding easy, thoughtful, and stress-free, and I always felt like I was in the best hands. She and her team’s attention to detail was second to none, and it showed in every single aspect of our wedding day.

The food was absolutely incredible. Every guest we’ve spoken to since the wedding has mentioned how delicious everything was, from the cocktail hour to the reception and all the way through dessert. The variety, the quality, and the presentation were all outstanding. It truly felt like a five-star dining experience from start to finish.

Equally impressive was the service. The staff was so attentive, professional, and kind, making sure that every guest was well taken care of. A very special thank you goes to the wonderful maître d’, Tina, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. She was attentive, thoughtful, and kind, making me feel completely at ease and cared for the entire day.

I am beyond grateful for everything Filomena and the entire team did to make our day unforgettable. Their food, their service, and their diligence went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. I am absolutely in love with this caterer and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Be a Guest at your own Wedding reception

If you want to be a guest at your own event, get Farm to Table to host it! We are so pleased with our son's wedding reception, hosted at our home last weekend. Filomena and her team offered many menu choices, hosted a tasting for us, and guided our selections. We have heard from many guests that this is the best wedding food they have ever tasted. The food was cooked right here, in a propane fueled oven. The service was impeccable, charming and friendly. Filomena also provided us with a great deal of support and information about the whole event aside from food; she helped us choose a tent company and a sanitation company. I wish I could add more stars!

No regrets!

We decided to plan a DIY wedding. Everyone thought we were crazy and I have to say that it did seem overwhelming at first, until we met Filomena. She was amazing. She met with us and went through so much that I began to have a sense of relief and actually began to look like it could be possible. Well fast forward....it was an absolute dream come true. Not only did Farm to Table do everything promised, they made my wedding an amazing day. I can not begin to tell you how delicious the food was. We recommend her to everyone know.

Most memorable part of our wedding!

Amazing experience from start to end!

We hired Filomena for a wedding rehearsal dinner for 50 in Smithtown, NY. The dinner was amazing, and it all had to be prepared offsite as the venue does not have a working kitchen. Our guests gave rave reviews of the all of the food selections. And Filomena and her staff were so professional. They were quick to replenish food and tidy up all of the catering tables. And cleanup was efficient and quick. My husband and I were free to enjoy the event with no worries! I highly recommend Farm to Table Catering by Filomena for their quality food and service.

Working with Filomena and her Farm to Table crew was an absolute delight. Filomena consistently responded promptly, offered invaluable assistance whenever needed, and provided exceptionally useful suggestions throughout our wedding planning journey. We were blown away by the array of options available when customizing our menu to suit our tastes. Every dish was meticulously prepared, and even three months later, we continue to receive compliments from our guests about the outstanding food – all of which was prepared onsite in a tent! Filomena took on our vineyard wedding with very very short notice and absolutely knocked it out of the park! She made every one of our ideas come to life and truly made our wedding a dream come true. November 5th Wedding

I’m not even sure where to start besides RUN, don’t walk, RUN to book Filomena & Farm to Table. I’ve had the pleasure of attending a few events which they catered both in house and on site… baby showers, birthdays & now my Wedding. Filomena was actually my first and only choice for catering our November 5th wedding which we hosted at our home. The delicious, fresh, tasty, clean, FRESH, & healthy menus she offers are almost unreal. Our wedding was a week ago today and I’m still receiving calls asking where our food was from, people are obsessed. Filomena not only supplied the catered food, she brought beautiful pieces to elegantly serve & display food, she came with a highly trained, on point staff (chefs, bartenders, maître d’, wait staff) for my 150 person wedding. Myself & guests wanted for nothing. I admittedly have high expectations, and like quality. Farm to table takes the cake. I didn’t have to ask a single person for anything it was just done and there, my hand was never empty, all the plates and glasses were always full, they never looked out of place or in the way, and most importantly they all were such nice, warm, fun & funny people. All of the food was cooked on site, on our property in real time and it was noticed, seriously the freshest most delicious catered food I’ve had & I’m not just saying that because it was my wedding. I wish I had more pictures but everyone was busy eating. I’m already looking forward to my next event that I won’t have to cook for because I’ll always use Filomena & Farm to table from this day forward. 🤍

From the day I met with Filomena, I knew that she was a perfect fit for us. She is so knowledgeable and sweet. She spent so much time with us and answered every question we had.

At Home wedding Venue

WOW. Filomena and her entire team were fabulous from start to finish. It is two weeks after our wedding and I am STILL getting texts from our guests to compliment the food. A caterer like no other!

It was an amazing experience. Filomena made my wedding a day that I truly enjoyed. The food and service was superb. I couldn’t have asked for a better representation of us for our wedding!

Coming from working in the industry my whole life my partner and I take pride in what we do, we wanted good food for our guest that represents us as we stay true to organic clean eating. When we met with Filomena the first time we knew there was no better person to do so! Her food is fantastic beyond our expectations and the staff well they are nothing short of incredible! The team made our day so so special with no worries!

Every person has not stopped raving about how incredible the food was! Holy cocktail hour I can ensure you that there isn’t a better cocktail hour out there than Filomena’s.

Best Wedding Food EVER.

Filomena was our top choice when it came to finding a caterer for our wedding. My husband and I are very conscious of where we get our food so finding Filomena and her Farm To Table menu was something very important to us. Our wedding theme was Tuscan and Filomenas large spread of organic, absolutely delicious dinner and dessert was an absolute hit for our guests. We were a COVID couple and Filomena handled postponing with grace and made it very easy for us and supportive along the way. Her staff was amazing as well and really came through for our special day. We plan to visit her cafe often! I recommend her all the way.

She assured that everything ran smoothly. There was plenty of food and our wedding guests praised how delicious everything tasted. We actually got to enjoy leftovers the following day! Oh my yum!!

When we first met with Filomena, we knew we had to book her. She is so sweet, very personable and professional. Filomena really worked with us to accommodate our budget!! So so so thankful for that.
ALL THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS. If I could, I would eat food from there every day!
We had a laid back cocktail hour and a buffet dinner.
Our maitre’D was so amazing. She always checked in on us. We were about to make our entrance to the reception and my husband forgot his jacket. She ran to go grab it and was back in a flash. They really are the best. I cannot wait to use them again for future events :).

Our wedding on August 10th, 2019 was absolutely delicious. Farm to Table by Filomena was one of the best choices in vendors we had made. Filomena was incredibly accommodating for our guests’ dietary needs. It was very important for us to find a caterer who was sensitive to the varying diets of our family and friends. Filomena did a wonderful job indicating whether the different dishes were gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, or vegetarian. Our guests reported feeling comfortable and cared for by the catering staff. Filomena shared with us that she sees food as medicine. As Hippocrates once said, “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” This belief is one that has always resonated with me and is a principle that I observed in Farm to Table by Filomena. I wholeheartedly recommend this vendor for anyone who is seeking wholesome, healthy, hearty, and delicious food for their catering event. In addition to good food, the catering staff took good care of myself as a bride and my husband as a groom. From the moment I arrived at cocktail, the staff was ready with food to offer myself and my husband. They decorated our sweetheart table beautifully and, at the end of the night, they did a wonderful job cleaning our event. We feel blessed by and grateful for Farm to Table by Filomena! Wonderful Experience

Filomena and her staff were excellent in the prep and display of their food. Every dish was delicious and beautiful. All of the guests kept talking about how wonderful everything was and how they enjoyed the dishes. Very professional staff and very hi- quality food and service. All of our guest raved about the food. Our DJ , who goes to a lot of weddings said it was the best food he ever had at a wedding. Food Was Fantastic!

Baby Shower par excellence

Our daughters baby shower was a most memorable and fantastic experience at Farm to Table by Filomena!
Our guests are still talking about it! I received numerous phone calls regarding the event due to the amazing service, quality and quantity of the food and amazing “farm” decor.
Everyone including myself, were blown away by the intimate cozy feeling we came away with.
Great venue for small weddings, engagements, baby and bridal shower, birthday party, Etc.
The food is delicious!
We are so grateful to Filomena and her staff, Sabrina, and Beth in particular for their professionalism and their desire to work with us and serve us with such hospitality.

I am incredibly proud to write this review. We worked with Filomena and Farm to Table catering for our wedding at a barn in October 2017. We met with Filomena two years ago before we even booked our venue and she was incredibly nice and made us feel so welcome from the start. One of the things that stood out to us during our first planning meeting with her was that before we even started talking about the event, she wanted to get to know us. She gets to know her couples as people before they become clients. She then worked with us to match the menu to the vibe of our wedding.

Next, we have to give gratitude to her support staff. Mandi is incredible. She is incredibly personable, organized and was there for us every step of the way. She was there as someone to help us during every up and down of our wedding unrelated to Farm to Table. She is an event coordinator as well (Iconic Events by Mandi) and if you need one, you should hire her! Unfortunately, we had a DOC through our venue, and we wish we hired Mandi instead.

Wedding day—guys, the food was INCREDIBLE! We did a BBQ buffet theme—everything from bbq chicken and pork to slaw, all the fixin’s: cornbread and a mac and cheese bar! Their wait staff and bartenders are pros—white glove treatment, incredibly attentive, sweet, friendly and poised. Our guests are still raving about the food!

Unfortunately, in the wedding industry you come across alot of vendors who are in it just for the money and look at you as a number. Farm to Table are professionals and people you want there on your special day.

This team made us feel like family. This entire experience truly made it feel like your family was catering your event. Their entire team is generous, friendly and accommodating.

We will be forever clients and fans of Farm to Table.

Farm to Table by Filomena catered our wedding this past weekend and I cannot say enough good things about them. From the first day we met with them up until the end of the party they were a pleasure to work with.

The staff were all friendly, competent, and accommodating. They made sure that I tried all the hors d'oeuvres and fixed me a plate of dessert so I wouldn't miss out. They beautifully incorporated my decorations into their buffet setup and even took some of the dried flowers and put them on the serving trays for cocktail hour. A beautiful touch!

The food was phenomenal. The menu they put together was perfect and both meat-eaters and vegetarians had enough to eat. All of the guests were raving about how good the food was.

I would work with them again in a heartbeat. Their attention to detail and ability to create a delicious and unique menu make them an excellent choice for any event. My only regret was that I didn't eat more at my wedding!

I want to start out by saying I was overwhelmed on my wedding day, everything was PERFECT. We all know there is a lot that goes into planning a wedding, lots of details that the average couple would never know they needed. My first encounter when calling Farm to Table was Mandi, it was her professionalism during that initial phone call that got me to book the consultation. During the initial consultation I felt that she really listened to what we wanted which made me feel at ease. Next we met Angela, she had us sample a few items which were delicious. We both left there knowing we had every intention of booking with them for our Tuscan Themed Wedding. Filomena was more than accommodating with what seemed like endless questions. Fast forward to our wedding day - it was beautiful. All our guests have raved about the cocktail hour, the dinner, and the service. I had several special dietary needs guests, there was something for everyone. I plan on using Farm to Table for all my catered events. We even visited the cafe this weekend to treat ourselves to a take out dinner for Saturday date night at home! Loved everything!

From the moment I first spoke to Filomena on the phone, I knew she was someone I could trust. Filomena truly cares about all of her brides, and puts all of her love into everything she does. Every step of planning our wedding with her was a breeze. She sat with me, personally, countless times, not only going over our menu, but going over other details of our wedding. Mandi, one of her coordinators, was unbeliveably detailed and on top of everything. Her sister was amazing as well - anytime my husband and I went to the shop to drop off a payment or discuss plans, she personally made my husband a cup of espresso, and served us food, dessert, iced tea - anything we wanted. We felt like we were family any time we went there. The day of my wedding, the execution of all of our events was flawless. Filomena's team ran our wedding like it was their own. From the passed appetizers to the serving of the cake, everything went smoothly. My husband and I were extremely catered to as well. We never were without a drink, something to eat and I could always find someone if I needed something. Everyone RAVED about the food - the grilled cheese with tomato soup shooters were to die for. Filomena's eggplant rollatini is the best I have ever had, and as someone who comes from an Italian family, that is saying a lot! People are still talking about the food at our wedding. The presentation was beautiful, the food cooked perfectly, the mason jar desserts - everything was exactly what we'd hoped for. You'll never feel out of touch with Filomena either - she and Mandi are extremely responsive and there for any question you might have. My husband and I have not one regret in having Filomena cater our wedding. She didn't only provide food, she provided memories. I will always remember all of the attention we received, all of the attention my guests received...everything was perfect and we could not have done it without her.

First of all, I wish I could give way way more than 5 stars. Farm to Table was an amazing experience from beginning to end! After our first appointment with Filomena we knew we had to go with Farm to Table for our wedding. We wanted a cute, intimate rustic feel with our "do it yourself" wedding venue but we wanted to have the best food possible without breaking the bank; and Filomena was just that. My husband and I are self declared "foodies", but also big on where our food comes from so this was one of the more important details. Not only did Filomena make us immediately feel comfortable and like family, but she continued to make us fall more and more in love with her. She was easy to contact and answered every question I had tirelessly. I felt bad each time I bothered her but her patience was gold! Haha. One of the best parts was the night of our food tasting when my husband and I were able to bring our parents to what really felt like a night out. Filomena and her staff cooked for us and served us pretty much our entire wedding menu so we could be sure it was exactly what we wanted. Even when we changed our minds on a few details she assured us she knew exactly what to sub in - and she was right. I don't even know where to start when discussing the wedding day. EVERYONE is STILL raving about how incredible the food was at our wedding. I'm so happy that not only was the wedding food delicious, but whenever we crave more - we can just go down to the shop in Smithtown to get a little tasty reminder! Not only that, but her staff was so kind and helpful all night long. They were always making sure my husband and especially me were fed, not thirsty, and just well taken care of. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Filomena for ANY event you need catered - or even just make up an event so you can have her food. =) I can't imagine ever going with anyone else.

Such amazing people to work with!!! My husband and I were looking for affordable, locally sourced, and of course tasty food for our wedding, and Farm to Table hit all the marks! Filomena and Angela have decades of catering experience under their belts, which is super helpful and very comforting when planning your big day. From the day you meet them, you can tell they truly love what they do, and their passion for cooking wholesome and delicious food shines through their work. We had such a great time deciding our menu, and they are very flexible when it comes to working within your budget. The staff was incredibly attentive the day of our wedding, and brought our bridal party drinks and appetizers while we took pictures, which was just wonderful! Amazing food and service! My husband and I had our wedding last month, and from start to finish Filomena and her staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best catering experience possible. Mandi was very communicative leading up to the event, and coordinated with our rental company to make sure that we had everything that we needed. On our wedding day, it was a great feeling to know that we could relax and enjoy the day with Filomena and her staff taking care of the catering and logistics. The food was AMAZING - our guests are still raving about it! And the service was outstanding. Courtney, the maitre d', made sure that all of our guests were taken care of and that my husband and I were well fed throughout the evening. The entire serving staff was helpful and friendly, and I would highly recommend Farm to Table by Filomena!

Having delicious food at our wedding was one of the most important things to my husband and I. Our guests were raving about the food the entire night and still tell us how amazing it was. Some of my guests even tried recreating their own versions of some of the food at home! Filomena was the absolute best! Filomena and her staff really went above and beyond. They did not just make, set up and serve the food, but went out of their way to help me decorate the venue, put together my bouquets, and helped us clean up. The staff was very accommodating and made sure that my husband and I always had something to eat and drink. Towards the end of the night we were running a little low on Stella Artois and one of the waitstaff put some of them aside for my husband because she knew it was what he was drinking all night! I highly recommend using Farm To Table as the caterer for your wedding!

Farm to table by Filomena catered my daughters wedding in August and everything was amazing. The food was top notch and our guests still rave about it. Filomena was great from start to finish with the planning and helping us with food choices. There is no better caterer out there in my mind and the minds of everyone that attended the party I had for my son and daughter in law celebrating their marriage. In this day and age dealing with gluten free issues and friends and family that are vegetarians, Filomena accommodated everyone. I was astounded by the display and array of fabulous food. The staff was that served the hors d' oeuvres were delightful. My only regret was that I didn't take a picture of the table display .
I would use Farm to Table Catering by Filomena again in a heartbeat.

I was so amazed at the person al service that we received. Filomena and Angela mean what they say and deliver exactly what they promise. The really are Lombardi's that do what they say. The food was above and beyond delicious and fresh. Their staff were professional and on top of everything. We got married in a barn and we were amazed of the transformation and what they were able to prepare without a real kitchen. Our guests raved about everything. We chose the best and we were not disappointed. We love that they only cater one wedding a weekend.

We were so happy we chose Filomena and her team for our wedding. From start (many many emails about our menu) to finish (the last taste on our amazing wedding day) she was professional and helpful. We decided on a mainly vegetarian menu with a fish option, buffet style, including passed hors d'oeuvres and dessert. Our wedding was two weeks ago and people are still telling me how much they loved the food at the wedding. From the appetizers all the way through dessert everything was delicious. Starting from the beginning, Filomena really worked with us to come up with a menu that we loved. The tasting that we did with her was phenomenal and left both sides of the family wowed. And the more incredible thing was that it tasted exactly the same at the wedding. She was very flexible with things that we wanted to add or tweak with the menu and always wanted to make us happy. Her sister Angela was also so helpful with suggestions and the pair of them made an amazing team. We had a mashed potato bar during the reception that was a huge hit as well and would highly recommend! Even the chicken, which tends to underwhelm at weddings, was melt-in-your-mouth-fantastic. And for dessert they came through with a delicious key lime pie and even used my mothers Tres Leches recipe in cute mason jars!

The waiters and maitre'd were fantastic as well and also were highly complimented by guests. The actual day of, Filomena and her team handled everything smoothly and professionally. Beginning with delicious eggplant caponata crostinis and grilled cheese shooters during cocktail hour all the way through the fabulous key lime pie, going with Farm to Table was one of the best decisions of the day.

We recently held a party for fifty close friends and business acquaintances. It was imperative that the food be top notch and the service likewise. Fliomena took care of all the details, and the party was a success. I would highly recommend this business.

Our daughter was recently married—her wedding ceremony and reception were held in an antique barn overlooking a secluded bay on Long Island. Sounds right out of Martha Stewart’s Weddings. It was, thanks to our caterer, Farm to Table, and its chef-owner, Filomena. Weddings are drama-filled events, and ours had its share, but despite some uncooperative weather, from cocktail hour to the desert, Farm to Table was impeccable. Chef Filomena’s style: she’s in control but never seems controlling. One cocktail tidbit, Grilled cheese with tomato soup sounds pedestrian, but it was a unique hit among our guests, as were all the handcrafted cocktail apps. Salads were crisp, lightly spritzed with fantastic lemon vinaigrette and the entrees, from roasted wild salmon with crispy kale and coconut rice to grilled skirt steak with chimichurri sauce served with roasted Tuscan potatoes, hit every high note possible. Off-premise events are fraught with potential nightmares so to guarantee success, you need a well-seasoned pro. Don’t gamble on your event, go with Farm to Table.

Farm to table was the best caterering we could have ever chosen. We are beyond happy with every detail. They worked within our budget and made our wedding a dream come true! They made sure everything ran smoothly all night. The food was amazing, there wasn't one guest that didn't rave about it. All the staff was professional and so sweet! Everything looked gorgeous and they made sure of it all night, folding napkins and clearing tables. Filomena and Angela are two of the kindest people I have ever met they were so helpful with every little thing I will actually miss them! I can't wait to have another event for them to cater. By far THE BEST!!!

Everything was pretty easy with Filomena- from booking to picking out the menu to the tasting. She was accomodating to our schedule which was nice. There were a few miscommunications about what linens we needed to provide (we were informed a week before the wedding and scrambled) and the salad randomly changed. The day of the wedding, there was a box labeled cake topper on the cake table that somehow got put on the floor and as they were bringing out my cake I had to run and grab it and ask them to put it in. Overall everything went extremely well and the food was delicious as always. I think as a bride I should have been more on top of things to ensure they would go perfectly so I would not have so much to stress about, especially if you are providing a lot of the items yourself.

First the food is AMAZing, the suggestion for quantity was right on, suggestions for serving (in a private home) worked with ease, servers were courteous, efficient and virtually unseen leaving all immaculate. Filomena has a business to be very proud of and is a true professional. Thank you, thank you.

Filomena and her staff were amazing. The decor was BEAUTIFUL and unique, the desserts were delicious, the staff was courteous and attentive. There was a lot of paperwork and details involved because of the venue we chose for the event and Filomena was wonderful with handling all of this, going above and beyond! I wouldn't use anyone else for our events!

High quality local cuisine worth raving about

We wanted our wedding to focus on high quality local products, but we also wanted a slightly unusual menu with a picnic theme. Filomena not only served as our trusted guide through the whole planning process, she also blew our guests away with the food and drink she served. Everything was absolutely delicious and we knew that it was coming from organic Long Island farms. We loved everything about our experience with Filomena and her team and would definitely work with them for a future event!
