Our experience with Farina has been absolutely lovely! From our pre-pandemic plans to our downsized wedding during the pandemic, they have been a joy to work with from start to finish. Their wedding cakes are beautiful, delicious (their pink champagne and vanilla buttercream combo is magical!), and their aesthetic is beautiful. We now also go to Farina for all of our birthday cake needs. Highly recommend! -

Absolute Art (& tastes good too!)
Thank GOODNESS we found Farina’s Bakery for our wedding! Not only were our cake and macaroons beautiful, but they were absolutely delicious! You can tell this company is not just about trends, they will seriously make you a good product. I wish we lived in Portland because I would always be stopping by! -

Such a great experience from being to end. The tasting was fun and easy. They even made frosting for us last minute. The. Cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. Everyone loved it. -

We loved meeting with Farina and creating our cake. They have THE MOST delicious red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, and their other flavors are just as impeccable, I'm just a sucker and a high critic of red velvet. They took our Pinterest photo inspo for the decoration and brought it to life flawlessly. We went with three different flavors in tiers and our guests said every flavor was amazing. They are extremely affordable and professional. Amazing bakery! -

Laura and the rest of the crew at Farina Bakery were a delight to work with. We felt like we were chatting with a friend when we arrived for our tasting - Laura met with us and asked us what we thought about each cake/frosting/combination in between asking us questions to get to know us better. She was also super helpful with pricing - she was transparent and provided us with information that would help cut costs here and there, instead of focusing solely on making a profit. The cakes were delicious too - we ended up with three flavors (pink champagne cake + strawberry frosting, vanilla cake + buttercream, chocolate cake + vanilla frosting) and our guests loved the flavors (as did we)! Along with delivery, Laura also decorated our cake, and it looked beautiful :) Highly recommend. -

Erica Sent on 07/25/2018Laura is the most amazing human being on the planet! We met with her and planned out the most beautiful macaron display and two side cakes for our wedding. She was easy to talk to and she was eager to make our display as glorious as I had envisioned. The price was well within budget also. When we had an unexpected hiccup (2 actually) that made us have to bump up the wedding and replan just about everything, Laura and her team were extremely helpful and accommodating. We downsized our order, but still maintained the beauty we had planned. Everyone raved about the cake and macarons. There isn't a better baker in all of the Portland area. Highly recommend. -

Erika Sent on 08/18/2016Laura made our cake and it was such a hit with our guests! We did 4 tiers with a different flavor for each tier and they were all incredibly delicious and dense. Be sure to visit her sweet little bakery on Hawthorne and try her amazing French macrons!
