Highly highly highly recommend! My wife and I were married in June 2023 and after a lot of back and forth on venues a year prior, we settled on the Mission Inn (specifically the Sonoma Golf Club) as our venue. The SMI team was absolutely incredible. Debbe was amazing during the beginning stages of getting us under contract. Tracy took us the rest of the way as our wedding coordinator - I couldn’t imagine working with anyone else for the year prior to the big day. Both Debbe and Tracy were phenomenal, I can’t say it enough. Between the welcome event we had at the Mission Inn and the actual wedding at the Sonoma Golf Club, the SMI team blew us away. The food was perfect and most importantly - served on time. Every detail was accounted for all weekend. This team is so incredibly competent at running an elegant wedding weekend, we were so impressed. Anyone that is considering a wine country wedding should consider a wedding at the Sonoma Mission Inn and/or the Sonoma Golf Club. Thank you again Tracy, Debbe, and the entire SMI team! My wife and I will forever be grateful and we can’t wait to come back and stay at the hotel for many years to come! -

I was the Day of Wedding Coordinator for a beautiful couple last week. The Fairmont Events team. was absolutely amazing to work with.
I had the pleasure of working with Tracy on all the pre planning. She has great experience and knowledge to make the day perfect for your guest.
The onsite team wad absolutely amazing! Bryan and Josh and the servers were so efficient, professional and kind. They all went above and beyond to make sure the couple had the most perfect day. Brian and Josh were extremely easy to communicate with and made it so great to work as a team. They all made me feel so welcomed.
The Bride, Groom and parents all raved about the staff, drinks and food.
I will definitely be recommending this to future clients. -

My husband (of five days) and I desired an intimate wedding in a beautiful location, surrounded by 40 people we love. We chose the Sonoma Mission Inn because it combines old-world elegance, wine country amenities, rustic charm, and great food. We know the hotel well because we live in the next county, and our family has enjoyed many joyous occasions there, including my nieces' wedding for 150 people at the golf club. This time the hotel staff outdid themselves.
Because we're in our seventies, it was a bit of a shotgun wedding, taking place within two months of our initial contact. The event planning team did everything possible to graciously streamline details that usually take months. During the following six weeks, the guest list more than doubled, and the staff was amazingly flexible and graciously reworked logistics numerous times.
Everything about the wedding was magical. The hors d'oeuvres were delicious and plentiful, the room for the ceremony and dinner was lovely, there was never a wait at the bar, and they served 94 meals and paid careful attention to our gluten-free, lactose intolerant, diabetic, and kosher guests!
With the help of the event team, we still had out intimate wedding! Everyone had a fabulous time. In addition to the wedding of our dreams, it was even more special because twenty-two guests stayed at the hotel with us. -

Jessica Sent on 12/30/2020An unforgettable intimate wedding ceremony in 2020, and Fairmont made it Happen!
November 7, 2020, ended up being a moment the nation will never forget and an even more memorable moment for Jason and me. We had to move our wedding date several times due to COVID-19 (originally in May of 2020). This unprecedented year brought so many twists and turns for any couple trying to tie the knot. Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn helped us figure out what we needed most to make this year have a positive and forever memorable moment! Pattie Lucero helped us move our original 150+ wedding to late 2021 at the Golf Course location, and we decided to do a small intimate ceremony in 2020 at the property. I was able to use my same wedding planner (Tan Wedding & Events), which made this even more effortless as they already knew us as a couple and were on top of everything! Only our immediate family was present, and everyone felt safe by the Accor ALL SAFE protocols at the property. We wanted to save all of our original looks for 2021. All our original vendors were fantastic in making new colors/concepts happen quickly, from flowers (Bloom & Vine) to hair & make-up (Rachel Lusk) to the location of the ceremony (Fairmont), photos (Kreate Photographery), even our cake (Batter Up Cakery) was different. We were able to set up a Live Zoom Stream for the immediate family who not able to attend from far away. We had a small dinner after the ceremony in a private outdoor space at the property; and Suzy Goodacre and her team did an outstanding job, and the food was delicious. We now have the opportunity to have the best of both worlds! A small intimate wedding ceremony this year and vow renewal with a reception and keeping our original look for all our guests for next year. My husband even surprised me with a final rose (Yes, we are avid Bachelor Fans!) Thank you to Edward Roe and his team at the Fairmont for making this happen for us and our dedicated wedding planner, Jennifer & Rick Tan, and all our vendors for diving in with us and helping make thoughtful touches to making this intimate ceremony memorable. We looking forward to doing it all again next year! -

My wife and I had our elopement here this past October (2020). The staff, service, and venue were all absolutely amazing. The staff, Pattie Lucero especially, were extremely helpful in navigating the entire process! They made a day, which could end up being unbearably stressful, the most pleasant experience either of us could have asked for. Richard Wood was our photographer shot the most amazing photographs we have ever seen. We would definitely recommend Fairmont Sonoma to anyone looking to get married in California, elopement or traditional! -

We had the best time on our wedding day at the Sonoma Golf Course at the Fairmont! Everything was fantastic and our guests have not stopped reaching out to rave about the venue and particularly, the food. The team at the Fairmont really worked with us to make our day extra special, including to have a custom menu made up for our reception dinner to add some Korean-inspired dishes and design a gorgeous bespoke cake. Our guests are saying that it’s honestly the best wedding food they’ve ever tasted (we even got compliments on the breakfast buffet scrambled eggs)!
Additionally, almost all of our guests stayed at the Fairmont and while there were some glitches/delays in the room block process that could have been better, the actual rooms were great and the staff was so wonderful and accommodating throughout the whole weekend.
Overall, highly recommend. -

Hands down, Fairmont is the best caterer to go with for a wine country wedding. We received so many compliments on the quality of the food at our wedding. Our guests loved the creative appetizer (goat cheese flan) and the chicken dish (with amazing risotto) and vegetarian dish (Thai curry) received rave reviews. We did not have red meat at our wedding, but from our tasting, we know that ANY of the Fairmont food is delicious. We had guests tell us that our cake set the bar for all wedding cakes and they loved the surprise of a late night snack. During the planning process, every interaction we had with Fairmont was helpful, professional and so friendly - from Sasha who did our first tasting with us, to the chefs, and to Lisa who we primarily interacted with. We had a lot of different questions and requests and Lisa was always responsive and flexible with us. We had a special family recipe that we wanted to incorporate into our hor dourves, and Lisa worked with the chef to make sure we were able to serve it to guests on our wedding day. Lisa and the chef even went out of her way to let us do a special tasting of the family recipe prior to our wedding day. In addition, on the day of our wedding, we got ready at the Fairmont with our wedding party and did our first look on the property. The bridal suite was perfect for us to have many girls in one place getting hair & makeup done. The Fairmont property was a beautiful setting for our first look. We are so happy to have chosen Fairmont for our wedding day! -

This is a stunning venue with impeccable service. I love that it combines rustic elegance together so that you feel comfortable while enjoying the finer things in life simultaneously. It is black tie without feeling stuffy. The staff were very accommodating to my vision and worked hard to make my wedding weekend one to remember! -

We stayed here for our wedding in a Vineyard Suite and the room also served as the getting ready room for the entire bridal party. It was a nice large room that was perfect for up to 8 people getting ready. The grounds are beautiful and there were a lot of places to take nice photos. The service was amazing and they greet you with glasses of champagne! Definitely a beautiful place to stay and the service is excellent!
