Cara was the best!

Cara and her team were absolutely amazing the whole process! From the Initial phone consultation, engagement pictures, bridal pictures, and the wedding I was blown away with all the beautiful photos. It was so much fun getting to know Cara as well she’s such a great person!

Simply amazing

Cara and her team are simply excellent. Not only are they professional, flexible, and take AMAZING photos, they are personable and hilarious. Cara made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day and we really couldnt have hired a better photographer. I also had a bridal shoot months before our wedding and she directed me through the entire process to make sure the angles were just right! Our wedding pictures were incredible. I recommend her to anyone and everyone who is getting married in the Raleigh area. BOOK THEM!

Cara is the absolute best!

My husband, Travis, and I have been SO impressed with Cara throughout our wedding experience. She spoke with us at length on the phone before we decided to go with her and was so great at answering all of our questions.
Cara shot our engagement photos in Nov 2019 and our small wedding ceremony in Nov 2020 and both experiences were FANTASTIC. She is truly an expert at what she does and we cannot wait to have her photograph our postponed wedding celebration in May 2021!

Perfect Wedding Photographer

When looking for wedding photographers, the photos from f8 Photo Studios (Cara and Adrienne) were the style of photography we wanted because they were crisp and natural. After meeting with Cara, we knew we wanted them to photograph not only our wedding but also our engagement photos. We picked the package with the associate photographer, Adrienne, and met her for our engagement photo session. With a short conversation we connected with Adrienne quickly and the photos turned out amazing. When it came to the wedding day, Adrienne and her second shooter captured every moment we could have possibly wanted as well as being able to deal with our easily distractible family. The photos from the first look still make me cry every time I look at them. Adrienne even stayed later than scheduled to capture our exit. We ended up quickly receiving over 800 incredible wedding photos. It is still difficult to narrow down our favorites since every detail is so remarkable. Thank you, Adrienne, for capturing our special day perfectly!

A Breeze To work with

I worked with Cara for my October 2019 wedding, and she and her team were fantastic! Cara worked with me to stay within my budget and she was fun and delightful to partner with. Our photographer, Lindsay, made my husband and I feel at ease and helped us work out the jitters and stiffness in our portrait session. Lindsay kept us on track and took beautiful images of our celebration. I am thrilled with how our sneak peak photos turned out and look forward to seeing more. I live in Maine and planned a wedding in Raleigh, NC. Cara and Lindsay made it easy to plan from afar over phone and email.

A true fairytale!

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer! Cara's partner, Adrienne, did our engagement session and wedding day (with Lacy!!) - made taking 100s of pictures FUN, we were laughing the entire time. We've loved looking through our gallery and continuously receive compliments about our incredible pictures! Both Cara and Adrienne were absolutely incredible to work with - made the entire process easy, which is a bride's dream among all the wedding planning! So fun to work with!!

We're very happy to have had Cara photograph our wedding. We keep looking back at our photos and love how they really capture the beauty of everything and helped make us look great!

Meeting Cara for our engagement photos was great because it gave us an opportunity to see how she worked and be more relaxed on our wedding day since we weren't total strangers. She also is fun and jokes around to make you relax and smile the whole time.

My husband is a photographer himself, so Cara went above and beyond by scouting out our venue the day before and taking some great shots of the beautiful scenery! It wasn't something she had to do but was such a thoughtful way to show she cared. On the day of, she was great and both made everyone feel at ease while also keeping them in line to ensure we stayed on time and got all the photos we wanted. She was good to work with because she took input from us and also made her own suggestions so that we could come to an agreement on what shots we wanted and how things would run to make it all perfect.

To top it all off, the pictures are great. They show emotion, have great color and sharpness, and help to tell the story of our day. But you can see that easily from all her great albums! The photographer is such an important part of your wedding since they will be with you all day and they will capture your memories and what you look back at year after year. Highly recommend Cara and would work with her again in a heartbeat!

Best Photos Ever!

What an amazing experience all around. Cara was phenomenal to talk to and I felt like she really "got me". Adrienne was so fun to work with and took some amazing photos. We did an engagement shoot first and she really put my husband and I at ease. We had so much fun!! Throughout the process she was so available and responsive. And really took the time to get to know us. Then, when the wedding rolled around it was smooth sailing. The formal pictures went so quickly because we had really planned it all out ahead of time. I got the pictures back super quickly which was a huge surprise! When I saw all the candid ones that captured all of the different and beautiful emotions of the day I was truly blown away. It was exactly what I had hoped for. Really awesome job.

Friendly photographer, great photos!

It was great to work with Adrienne and f8. She put us at ease during our initial meeting, months ahead of the wedding, by really explaining the photo package and her style clearly. Then, once the wedding was getting closer, Adrienne reached out with helpful planning docs. I really appreciated how she made sure to know exactly what family photos we wanted, even checking whether there were any family dynamics she shoudl know abut to avoid any awkwardness (none in my case, but I appreciated the ask!). She was clear about the timeline we would need to get the photos we wanted so that we were able to coordinate with our makeup artist as well. On the day of, Adrienne's easy energy and sense of humor kept everyone smiling even when our cheeks were starting to hurt! We had to stay indoors for most of the pics because of the rain, but later on she still managed to get us out for some nighttime shots that came out great. I just got my full set of photos back and am LOVING them. Along with the posed shots, I love the candids from our reception and all of the detail shots, too. She beautifully captured our wedding day. I appreciate being able to have all of the digital copies and decide what prints I'll make later on. f8 also sent a slideshow set to our first dance song, which was a really sweet touch. Thanks!

Adrienne is awesome!

Adrienne Fox was our photographer for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. The quality of both was incredible and she was such a pleasure to work with. She brought a second shooter who I barely noticed on our big day (a good thing), while taking wonderful photos. Adrienne worked very well with our videographer too, which I learned in the industry isn't always a given. 10/10 would hire Adrienne again thanks so much for our memories!

I was so happy with the responsiveness, helpfulness, & more from f8 I posted a review before even having a photo session. After that, we had an engagement session that was honestly one of the best wedding-related decisions I made. I usually hate taking pictures but Adrienne made it so much fun! We would have been excited going into the wedding based on her personality alone, but the pictures-oh my gosh. They are perfect. Cool angles, beautiful light, I don't know enough about photography to know exactly why they're that good, I just know I love them. One of my favorite compliments about them was that we look just like us, not a fake version of us. For the wedding, I can't say enough to properly thank the whole team for everything they did that day & for all the effort leading up to it. Cara answered emails immediately, spent SO much time helping me with the whole planning process, then once we were connected with Adrienne she spent several hours with us over phone & email. She handled last minute changes so graciously, we were so excited and so comfortable going into the big day! My husband said Adrienne's associate Lindsay made him feel like we had 2 lead photographers & I totally agree. We both really enjoyed how well they both played off each other & worked together. They swooped in & saved the day when my veil kept getting caught on the straps of my dress. They went above & beyond adjusting, readjusting, making sure I felt comfortable. On top of all that, we ended up with the most incredible photos that so perfectly captured our wedding. They reflect exactly how our favorite people are - their expressions, their dance moves, the way they celebrate, it's priceless. Our guests kept asking me to make sure they got the link because they felt like they'd gotten some great shots of their family. That was unexpectedly the best feeling ever. One of our cousins said "I can't stop looking at these pictures!", I feel like that says it all. I love f8!!!

My daughter used Cara for engagement photos and on her wedding day. Cara was fantastic! In less then a month we had her photos from wedding day. Amazing! They are beautiful. Cara made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera right from the beginning. She is easy going and makes you feel like you've known her for a long time. She knows the best places to take pictures in Raleigh. We loved where she picked for us to go for the engagement photos and the bridal party photos. It was a super hot day, but she knew exactly where to go to get shade. We got the family pictures we needed but also some really amazing candid shots. She's quick when she needs to be but always pays attention to details! We've gotten so many compliments for the pictures and can't recommend Cara enough!

It's not possible to overstate how much I appreciate Cara & Adrienne with f8! My wedding isn't until August, so I can't speak to the actual photos yet, but the amount of effort and support they've already put in completely warrants a 5 star review. I'd give them 10 stars, if that was an option. I have obsessively researched every vendor we're using and the pressure of making the right investment can be so stressful, but within a few minutes of talking to Cara I already felt so relieved, and as the planning process continues I have felt more and more confident that I made such a good choice! Cara mentioned early on that they want their clients to feel like they're a friend hanging out instead of feeling like some stranger is pointing a camera at them all day, and I can say with complete certainty she and Adrienne have 100% accomplished that, and the big day isn't even here yet! They both have this amazing mix of being down to earth but also so professional and knowledgeable at the same time. In an industry where I feel some vendors give off a vibe of being very self-important or judgy, these 2 totally shine with their knack for providing feedback in a way that truly makes me feel like I'm just chatting with a good friend who just happens to know basically everything about the wedding business in this area. They've consistently encouraged me to reach out for support when I have any questions, and they have totally delivered, even on things that pretty much have nothing to do with photography. I'm so, so happy with them and I have no doubt the photos will be beautiful and they will do everything in their power to make sure we have a great experience.

Best. Photographer. EVER!! Cara , owner of f8 Photo Studios, is seriously the "total package" of photographers. Not only are her photos incredible, but she is responsive, professional, and so fun to work with! My husband and I live in Washington, D.C. and we were having trouble finding time to drive down to Raleigh for an engagement shoot, so Cara drove up to D.C. and we had our engagement shoot here! I was blown away by that gesture from her and it's things like this that truly make her an incredible wedding photographer. On your actual wedding day, you will realize that you're kind of on a tight schedule. Cara kept everything rolling along, made sure people were where they needed to be, and still kept everything relaxed and fun! Oh and did I mention she's hilarious? She will have your wedding party laughing true laughter for those fun "candid" photos everyone loves so much. In the months leading up to our wedding, we would chat on the phone, plan out schedules, and hammer out details I wasn't even aware I needed to be hammering out! I cannot say enough great things about F8 Photo Studios! My husband and I were planning our 9/30 wedding in Wake Forest from Boston, where we currently live. Needless to say, I was a little nervous about hiring vendors without being able to meet them in person. I spoke with Cara on the phone after taking a look at the F8 website, and she immediately made me feel at ease. She explained all of my options and walked me through what to expect with wedding photography. After making the decision to move forward with F8, my husband and I met Adrienne, our photographer, for our engagement photos. I immediately knew that Adrienne was the right person for the job. Not only was she one of the nicest people I've ever met, but she was clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about photography. When we got our engagement photos back, I could not wait for our wedding, simply for the pictures! Then, very quickly, our wedding day arrived! Adrienne was with me and my bridesmaids while we got ready, and her assistant was with my husband and his groomsmen. Adrienne knew the best shots and angles for me and my girls. She efficiently got us through pictures before and after the ceremony, and then even indulged me in some one-on-one pictures during the reception. We haven't received our full wedding album yet, but Adrienne sent us a "sneak peek" with a few photos, and I am seriously IN LOVE with them- they are breathtaking! I cannot recommend this company enough!

I cannot be happier with our photos! For our wedding my husband & I did not want to skimp on the photos and we are SOOOO happy we went with f8 studios. Cara was fantastic to work with on the planning and for the event we had Adrienne there taking photos. She was great and so fun to be around. We planned everything from Texas so I never event met Adrienne until the day of the event but she had everything set up and ready to go and there were zero issues. I would highly recommend.

Cara Galati was absolutely so much fun to work with! She photographed my engagement photos, bridal portraits, and wedding photos, and all the pictures were stunning. She pays great attention to detail and plays around with lighting to get a once in a lifetime shot. She listened to what I wanted in my photos and was so easy work with. My husband and I were a little nervous with our engagement session and she made it so much fun and relaxing, that the next thing we knew, we were done! It made us feel that much more comfortable on our wedding day because we knew we were in great hands. Her assistant, Adirenne, helped her on out on our wedding day and she captured such special and candid moments that worked so well next to Cara's main shots. They were the dynamic duo. First of all, we never actually met with Cara but dealing with her on the phone and through email was SOOO incredibly easy and made the process so smooth! Secondly, we LOVE LOVE LOVE Adrienne! From the moment we sat down with her to just talk we knew we wanted her to shoot our wedding. She is so sweet and fun and fit our personalities and what we wanted in a photographer perfectly. We did an engagement shoot also which was awesome and really helped us figure out what we like and didn't like for the wedding day pictures. Lindsey was also there for our wedding day, she was great and had really good insights and ideas. For us, the photographer was the most important part of our day (minus getting married!) and we could not have been happier than we are with Adrienne and F8!

Additional comment - we just got our wedding pictures and they are amazing. Adrienne listened to everything we wanted (and didn't want) and did an amazing job. Now that it's all said and done, we really TRULY cannot be happier. I would without a doubt choose f8 photo studios again in the future.

I can't say enough great things about Adrienne Fox and F8 Studios. We looked at just about every other local studio's portfolio before finding F8. Cara and Adrienne have a more journalistic style and are able to tell a story, not just take pictures. And I think the price was a steal for what they did for us -- we had a private ceremony on a Saturday followed by a Sunday brunch reception, and Adrienne was with us for about 3+ hours both days, PLUS an engagement shoot months before! Adrienne took time to get to know us and our easy-going style. She captured the most beautiful moments, both posed and candid, and kept us laughing the whole time. She was a joy to work with, always patient and accommodating, even when I'm sure sitting around for a Sunday brunch wasn't the most exciting thing for a photographer! I'm glad we made the decision to work with F8 and would recommend F8 for anyone looking for photographers who go out of their way to make sure the story of your relationship and wedding day is told the way it should be.

F8 was absolutely amazing! Cara is so personable, and was so responsive and flexible when working with me even when we had to reschedule the wedding to the next year for personal reasons. She did not charge us a cancellation fee and was so understanding. Adrienne was so cool and such an awesome photographer - so fun to work with! They both made us feel very special and Adrienne talked with us numerous times to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted and worked with us to make our packed photo schedule work out. She did our engagement photos as well and they were absolutely stunning. I can't wait to see the wedding photos! I would definitely recommend f8 to anyone getting married in the area. Adrienne and Cara from f8 Studios were so wonderful to work with. Very genuine and most importantly very talented. Our pictures turned out even more amazing than I had ever imagined. Adrienne met with us a few times and went out of her way to make sure she knew what we wanted. She knew what questions to ask and what I most appreciate is that she had the sense and confidence to tell me what will work best even if it was different than what I thought I wanted. Trust me brides, you want to invest in your photographer and it is worth it to get the best! There are more expensive and less expensive vendors out there, F8 is the way to go!

Cara is absolutely incredible, I honestly could not recommend her any higher!! I never imagined that my photographer would turn out to be part of the wedding planning process- but she can really do it all. This is from a Grooms perspective. Our wedding was at Rose Hill Manor.

I contacted F8, along with other photographers near the area, and within the day Cara had reached out to us. I have always been a believer in the phrase, "You get what you paid for" and photos were near the top of our priority list. Other photographers reached out to us, however, there was this personal touch about Cara that we just loved. I will explain this below.

My now wife also loved the fact that she seemed very personal and after we got off the phone with her we both knew that she would be our photographer. The reasons were simple, there was no pressure to book her or her associate (who was cheaper), the prices were presented with nothing hidden, and she just wasn't a photographer, she was also a great help! I wouldn't be surprised if she doubles as a coordinator/photographer one day...

During our first phone conversation and the conversations after, there wasn't just talk about photographs, but Cara helped us out with our DJ (Spin), Cake (Sweet Treats), and even had a coordinator if we needed one (we didn't). I assume being in the wedding business you meet a lot of vendors and her recommendations were spot on.

We just got our photos and love reliving the moment. Some advice to the people getting married:

1. If it is in your budget go with the video option! I did not realize how much behind the scenes you are when in a wedding and wish I could see everyone/everything that happened.

2. Also go with the photo booth option if it's within your budget. We had a photo booth and I don't think it was empty once.

3. Let Cara know everything/everyone you want to take photos with. I wish I would have told her I wanted pictures with a longer list of people b/c once the wedding starts you forget and are so busy.

Cara is phenomenal!!! She took the time to get to know us and it really was visible in both our engagement and our wedding photos. She was professional and so easy to work with. Many of our photos look like postcards. I cannot say enough about her and the quality of her work. I would highly recommend Cara Galati from F8 Photo Studios to any bride who is looking for wedding pictures that truly capture the essence of your entire wedding day. My husband and I got married this past summer at Rose Hill Plantation in Nashville, North Carolina, but were not from the area (Indiana actually) so we really had to do a lot of research when it came to choosing vendors for our wedding day. Walter Marrotta the general manager at Rose Hill Plantation highly recommended F8 Photo Studios to my husband and I while we were visiting and that is how we came in contact with Cara. Cara was extremely easy to talk to over the phone and she was very helpful in giving other vendor recommendations as well! On the day of our wedding Cara was on time, professional, and really kept the day moving. Cara was great in instructing my bossy family on where to go to get everything done in a time efficient manner. After the ceremony and family/bridal party pictures, Cara took my husband and I for about an hour to do our pictures together and I still cannot thank Cara enough for how she set this up! It gave my husband and I an hour to just enjoy the moment together and collect our nerves without everyone else around us. She made our private session so much fun and we felt extremely comfortable working with her. I was beyond excited to see all of the pictures she took for us and I was not disappointed when we received them! Cara takes absolutely stunning pictures and even captures small details that you as a bride will want to remember from beautiful portraits of table settings, your dress, shoes, flowers etc. She did a spectacular job at taking photos that were able to capture those truly blissful and happy moments that you wish you could relive every day! Overall, my husband and I were extremely happy with the services we received from F8 Photo Studios and specifically with Cara. She has a natural God given talent and I was extremely happy that we chose to work with her!

F8 is the best out there. A lot of people around us have been getting married and have had horror stories about photographers. After our friends attended our wedding and seeing the photographer/videographer quality of work, they became very impressed. Most important thing was the interaction and great customer service from F8. Cara is a very fun person and can make magic happen with so little resources. When shopping around, my wife was impressed with F8 work and noticed it was out of the budget but wanted to reach out to them anyway. I didn't know what to expect but once Cara and her husband decided to do it for our budget price I knew these were good people who love what they do and love to see couples happy. Once I met them it felt like we knew them forever. The other important thing was that she was helpful with other aspects of wedding planning such as knowing others that are good people just like them. You usually do not meet people that have a big heart and just do things for the money but these people had a very big heart and made my wife dreams come true having them do the photography and videography. Let's not forget about Cara husband. He was such a nice guy. He gave my wife a sneak peak of what her video would look like a week after the wedding that has her so excited to see the final product. If you are looking for photography/videography then F8 is the place. You will love them and they will give you greatness. I wish them the best and appreciate all they did for us!

One of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process was choosing F8 as our photographer. Cara is such a sweet person and she was so pleasant to work with from the very beginning. She was always available to answer any questions we had along the way. We felt so comfortable with her as soon as we met and that is so important in a wedding photographer. F8 did a marvelous job capturing our wedding day. Adrienne was our photographer for the day. She was just wonderful. Professional, not intrusive, funny, and best of all took some amazing photos. We worked with Cara for the initial planning and then ordering/post-processing after the wedding had finished. Ok, Cara is awesome! So much fun to work with and lots of creative ideas. We fortunately did a first-look before the wedding, so had lots of extra time to do a photo shoot without any guests to distract us. That was the best suggestion ever from Cara. She was really easy to spend 7 hours with, too...any my parents enjoyed her as well. You definitely want someone that can work with your personality for all those hours, and I'm pretty sure Cara could work with anyone.

I would recommend Cara, the photographer @ F8 Photo Studios, to be your photographer for your wedding! She did an absolutely amazing job with our photography for my wedding! Cara was just amazing! From our first phone convo until the end of the wedding night she went over and beyond our expectations! She first did our engagement session and the result was just beautiful! She was so easy going and our pictures came out wonderful....everyone in both our families was raving about them. She always answered my emails and was very helpful in planning out the sequence of events before the wedding day. I would say the best thing about Cara is how she is able to handle any situation. During our wedding reception the wedding coordinator actually left without telling us! Cara came in and took over making sure that everything for the rest of the night ran smoothly!! Firstly, I have to say that Cara is the most wonderful photographer I have had the privilege to meet. The first time she photographed me was for my bridal portraits--and they were stunning. They were not your typical portraits--they were artistic and creative...and the way she captured the lighting was beautiful! She also photographed my wedding...I was stressed out about the pictures because 1) I have a huge family, 8 siblings! Also, my bridal party consisted of 8 girls, 8 groomsmen, 4 ushers, flower girl and ring bearer. 2) myself and the bridal party were running late getting ready etc. 3) I nearly had a panic attack while getting photos done with the bridal party. Cara was very professional and she calmed my nerves and stayed focused on getting the pictures I wanted. But all of these worries were not necessary, as the pictures turned out better than I could have ever hoped for!! She captured so many wonderful moments! I mean, the pictures took my breath away. It is with sincere enthusiasm that I recommend Adrienne Fox of f8 Studios to capture your special day – or any occasion. At my preliminary meeting with Adrienne, she asked what all vendors do – “Does your wedding have a theme?” I gave her the answer all vendors dread – “Not really.” As we talked, and giggled, I described how all of our weekend events would be downtown and I really wanted to capture the downtown Raleigh atmosphere. I shared a few “must have” shots that I had in mind. As a bride who found herself all too busy up until the weekend of the wedding, I did not give Adrienne much direction beyond getting to know my personality. Essentially, I put my trust in the professionals I hired to capture the memories I would share with friends and family.

Luckily for me, Adrienne did not just capture our memories – she helped make them. Our wedding day was wonderfully hectic. Adrienne was well prepared, funny and put everyone at ease. She was able to stay “in the background” to shoot our reverent moments but also took charge to shoot the unexpected photos which turned out to be the most special. Because she was so well prepared, we were able to shoot at a variety of locations (all of her selection) in a very short time period. Mindful, but not shaken, by the time constraints due to a longer than expected ceremony, Adrienne was committed to getting both the shots I wanted and the shots she had in mind. As we were tired, cheeks sore from smiling and anxious to get to our reception, Adrienne would say, “This will be worth it. Trust me –“ and I’m so glad I did.

Cara and Jonathan were so wonderful to work with. After interviewing multiple photographers, Cara had me at "hey girl!" She has a truly amazing talent and is just so sweet and personal. On top of taking amazing pictures, she and Jonathan helped save the day. While taking pictures of me getting into my wedding dress, the zipper of my dress broke (the zipper teeth broke!!) 45 minutes before I was supposed to walk down the isle. She whipped out some tool and helped my very crafty bridesmaid fix my dress. She was so flexible the rest of the day since our before wedding shots were kinds interrupted. Cara from f8 Photo Studios photograph my engagement session, bridal portrait, and wedding. She is absolutely amazing. Not only is she is great and one of the best photographers, but she truly cares for her clients. On my wedding day I wanted pictures of extended family and even though it took a large amount of time Cara was still able to get it done. These are photos that I will cherish for a lifetime. Cara was amazing to work with! Her professionalism was outstanding and she knew how to have a good time with us. My husband loves photography and was very interested in taking time to choose our photographer. I had seen Cara's work from one of my friend's wedding and knew immediately that was who I wanted to work with. Adam and I met with Cara first and that ended up being our only appointment to interview photorgrahers. Cara took the time to talk with both of us about our special day and her photography. She suggested ideas for our engagement session that fit our very unique personalities and was so great to work with over our 15 month engagement.

We went to great lengths in the selection of vendors for our wedding. In the area of photography, we took especially great care to make sure that we picked the right company and ended up looking through some 500 different wedding photographers’ websites and attending several wedding vendor fairs. Needless to say, after all the numerous hours of research, we had a good idea about what we were looking for and could rightly judge among photographers. We were looking for something that stood out from the rest, so when we say that F8 Photo Studios was the best of the best, it has weight to it.

Cara, who is the principal photographer and owner of F8 Photo Studios, showed consistent excellence in her online portfolio and when we finally met her face to face, she effortlessly balanced being very open, courteous and professional while keeping herself fun and putting us at ease. When you entrust the photography of your wedding day to someone, it is truly an important and sometimes difficult decision. You want to know that the one piece of the wedding that you actually get to keep is going to be properly taken care of, and that your memories will be properly preserved in those pictures. Cara made us feel at ease right away with her confident and determined personality. She is the kind of person that will stop at nothing to deliver her best work on each and every project that she undertakes. As we looked at portfolio after portfolio of her work, and saw her consistent excellence, it became ever more apparent that we were making the right decision.

As for the actual wedding day, Cara was perfect. Before the ceremony she captured excellent bridal portraits and bridal party shots and then was quickly able to turn around and capture excellent pictures of me and my groomsmen that really showed how close we were. During the majority of the ceremony, we didn’t even know she was there. She was effortlessly and unobtrusively capturing our wedding day and we will cherish the photographs that she took forever.

After the ceremony, she was easily able to balance capturing great photographs with directing family and friends where to properly stand and go for great posed shots. Then she captured amazingly artistic shots of Jessica and I that really showcased our love for one another and our personalities.

At the reception she captured all the details we wanted and all the important moments. We enjoyed talking, joking, and laughing with her and were saddened when it was time for her to leave because we wanted to party with her at the reception!

Amazing photography. Adrienne helped capture every special moment from our wedding beautifully! She her assistant photographer went above and beyond to get every shot perfect and just like I asked her to. She made my vision a reality and the photos are GORGEOUS.
Dealing with Cara on the business side was also wonderful- she was so easy to work with and talked to and made me feel comfortable choosing her studio to shoot our wedding.

F8 Photos are amazing and creative photographers. I am happy I chose them. They are on the pricey side but they are worth it. My engagement photos look amazing. In one photograph sitting, my husband and I had so many different settings and poses that it looks like we were photographed on different days. They also have an amazing photo booth that was the hit of my reception. Jonathan and Kara are awesome and take amazing, creative pics.

I so love Cara & Jonathan oh and Amber too, they are amazing photographers. They really captured the look I wanted for my bridal portraits! I'm super-excited to see our wedding photos but we have seen the photobooth pics and they are awesome! I highly recommend!

Cara and Amber shot both our engagement photos and our wedding. They were both fabulous and incredibly fun and friendly to work with. F8 creates amazing images that capture memories of your special occasion. Cara is such a pleasure to work with and has amazing energy. She can make anyone laugh and is passionate about her work. It took a while to get our proofs back, but the wait was definitely worth it. I would wholeheartedly recommend Cara and F8 Photo studios to anyone looking for beautiful pictures and a pleasant photography experience! I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

My daughter and new son-in-law's photos were absolutely beautiful! Cara captured every moment of the day. She was with us a long time that day and was very accomodating to our wants and needs. She took many candids the bridal couple wanted and we hardly kknew she and her partner were there. Great, Gorgeous pictures we have.

f8 provided great images for our engagement session as well as our wedding. cara is friendly and easy to get along with - very important for the person you will be with the entire day of your wedding. her images are not traditional - which is what we liked. we didn't want our photos to look like everyone else's! we will cherish the pictures she took forever! they captured our emotions and the spirit of the day perfectly! several people who have seen our images have said that they looked like something out of a bride magazine or fashion catalog!! made me happy with my decision to use this photographer. :)

The quality of photography is unfathomable. Cara and Jonathan are exceptionally creative photographers. I would highly recommend them to anyone - getting married, in need of a family photograph, head shots, etc... Their turn time is above average, but once you get your photos, you will be pleased.

While I loved the end product this woman completely humiliated me on my wedding day. She had a mouth like a trucker, frequently dropping F bombs and making inappropriate jokes. I also didn't like how she spoke to myself or family "hey- get back there, wait, you, listen, do it again!!!" She was very aggressive, and is a talented photographer, but there are too many out there to pick someone as crass as this.

I was very disappointed that the lack of attention to detail was not present for the photography for my wedding day.. Flower placement for the bridesmaids... My dress.... Moms hair..... All of my outdoor pictures in the same spot with no variety of back drop...at least there could have been one other location in mind.. I had to ask for it to be done....I did get a few good ones, but otherwise I was not too impressed :/

Let me preface by saying that we had Jonathan as our wedding photographer. This review does not apply to Cara, who in our opinion now as we see other couples' pictures, does better work, is better with customer service, responds more readily and quickly and generally, carries the studio. The weeks leading into our wedding, I emailed, called and left messages for Jonathan. He is really bad about answering, and even worse at returning calls. On my wedding day, he tells me that the reason he did not respond to my messages (from more than a week ago) is because he was in the woods and had poor reception. I had a list of (maximum) 15 images I had requested to be captured. Jonathan did not acknowledge my requests, and he failed to capture very simple images I requested - of my musician, our rings, etc. His assistant, Amber, told me at the reception that she had seen the list but I still didn't see images I had requested. Those are just the tip of the iceberg. Jonathan severely under-delivered on his videography, the very reason we even signed with them. We had parts of the video that were shaky, with zooming in and out, black out scenes, and just generally lacking creativity. The score was the best part, the only part we truly loved. When we asked for adjustments, he complained that he put in HOURS to edit the video. I won't question that; but I can guarantee if I paid someone else to put in HOURS to edit a video, we'd get something better. He contended that the final product was really good, according to "everyone else". Well, who are you making the video for - everyone else or the customers who pay you? Then, to top it all off, he sends two very unprofessional emails to my husband and while emails can be interpreted several different ways, suffice it to say that at best, he was unprofessional and at worst, just plain rude. Jonathan finally begrudgingly alters the video, and were we wrong to not hold our breaths? No, because he deliberately left a piece of the video completely silent. No music, no live talking, just utter silence. I guess it was his way of showing us he can get even. :)

Honestly, we wish things were different. After all, we'd be much happier with our choices and our products. It seems we are the outliers in these reviews, but take a closer look at who is leaving these reviews. Most of them are likely left by Cara's customers, or other businesses who - lets be honest - have a vested interest in recommending friends "in the business". You have ONE chance to make the right choice, and you're stuck with the results for the rest of your life. Do NOT get sold on the initial sales pitch. Be sure to review and vet experience levels. Be prepared to deal with the fact that the service you receive at the START may be the best it's going to get. Those are things we wish we knew.

Or, just save yourself the heartache and choose Cara.
