Kim, Jess, Angela, and Christina did my and my bridal party's hair and makeup for my wedding on 6/7/25 and they did an amazing job. I also had my HMU trial with them for my bridal shower and the whole process was great. I asked for natural-looking makeup, and they completely nailed it. Everyone in the bridal party was thrilled with how their hair and makeup turned out. They kept us ahead of schedule and listened to everyone's needs which helped keep the day relaxed and move smoothly. Definitely recommend! -

Kim, Darlin, and their team were so wonderful to work with! To start, their communication is impeccable and they stayed in close communication with me ahead of the wedding. I did my trial with Kim and Darlin and they made me feel comfortable and at ease, helping me decide on my hairstyle. Ahead of the wedding they gave us clear instructions so we’d have the best day-of experience. During the day, they kept us all smiling and in a great mood, getting us ahead of schedule (which reduced my stress as the bride by a LOT!) We all looked gorgeous and had a great start to the day due to Eye of CT Beauty - thank you so much!! -

Kim and Darlin are the nicest people you will ever meet. They are super friendly and do such a great job taking your hair and makeup inspo and making it reality. They were ahead of schedule and worked quickly while still having perfect hair and makeup that lasted the entire night. They make sure everything is just how you like it and are happy to switch anything you may want to change. They're also able to accommodate larger groups and are super reasonable with all their services! Definitely recommend them for other bridal parties and brides on their special day! -

Kim and her team were incredibly communicative, professional, and SO talented in hair & makeup. I completed my trial with Darlin and Kim, and both of them were spot-on in following my loose inspiration photos and listening to then incorporating my feedback. Day-of, Kim showed up early (!!) and she and Darlin did a great job making my bridesmaids and I feel comfortable and beautiful. All our hair and makeup lasted through the night but with none of the caked on feeling. Highly recommend!! -

We just got married this past weekend and I was so happy with how everything turned out! I felt so beautiful and all my bridesmaids and my mom looked great too. Kim was so responsive throughout the entire process and helped clarify any questions we had. Pricing was reasonable for both myself and my bridesmaids. I completed a hair and make up trial before my wedding day which was really helpful to see what exactly I wanted and to meet the artists beforehand. All artists were so professional and timely on the day of. I don't typically wear a lot of make up and wanted to still look like myself on my wedding day, and that's exactly what happened. Would recommend to anyone looking for a more natural "your skin but better" look! -

If you don't usually wear make-up, choose Eye for Beauty!
Working with Kim and the team at Eye for Beauty was a dream! As many others have said, I don't wear make-up or style my hair normally, so I was nervous about having to "wear a face" on my wedding day. But my nerves quickly subsided after my hair and make-up trial. DEFINITELY DO THE TRIAL! My concerns were heard and, even though I was unsure about wearing lashes, I barely could tell they were on after a few minutes.
Day-of, they were very familiar with the venue (Bill Miller's Castle), and so everything went smoothly (and ahead of schedule!). They were even kind enough to have a stylist/artist go to a family member's hotel room too! Highly recommend choosing Eye for Beauty as your hair/make-up team, especially if you are not typically one to wear make-up! -

Kim & her team were great from start to finish and so pleasant to work with. They seemed to understand exactly what I wanted from my very vague descriptions and several conflicting inspiration pictures and somehow blended all that chaos into a totally romantic, natural, and coherent look.
I don’t usually like pictures of myself, but Eye for Beauty CT had me staring at all our wedding pictures feeling like I actually looked as good as I felt!! -

Meg, our hair stylist, with Eyeforbeautyct, is an extremely talented hair stylist, is kind, organized, and works really fast! When I had my hair trial with Meg, I was so happy how it turned out and knew I wanted it to be exactly like that. I have relatively longer hair and not only did the hair style look gorgeous but was sturdy and lasted the entire day! My sister and friend who also got their hair done, came out amazing! They have shorter hair which can be a little more difficult to style and they got curls and a half updo with a clip which looked so gorgeous. My mom got curls and they lasted the whole day!! She even gave us lots of extra Bobby pins and hair spray which was great! Meg had to get up very early to come so our hair for our wedding and arrived and set up at our house right on time at 4:45am! Eyeforbeauty was also extremely well priced and even include the tip in the invoice which is very helpful! Kim was the person we were in communication with and she was very professional, nice, and quick to answer any questions! I highly recommend Eyeforbeautyct for beauty services! -

Can't say enough wonderful things about Kim & Darlin who were an absolute pleasure to work with on my wedding day! My bridal party, my mom, and I all loved our hair and makeup, all of which lasted all day long. In addition to being excellent at what they do, Kim & Darlin were both warm, comforting, and calming presences in the bridal suite and really set us all up for a great day. Thank you!! -

Kim and Dominique did a phenomenal job and delivered exactly what my bridal party and I were looking for. Perfect balance of glam and natural - I wanted to still look like myself on my wedding day, and they were able to accomplish that while still making me look and feel totally dolled up. Everyone’s hair and makeup lasted all throughout the night too, which I was super impressed with! Kim was incredibly professional to work with from day one, and kept everyone at ease and on schedule for the day of.

We planned our Connecticut wedding from California and I hired them to do my hair! Kim was extremely patient with me, as planning across the country had it's challenges for me. Darlin was the one to come do my hair and she was a gem. Arrived early, so nice, professional and did an amazing job. I didn't do a trial before... so the wedding day was my first time meeting her. I was so impressed (and the other women who got their hair done loved her too). I brought my own extensions for her to clip in and they worked great. I showed an inspo photo but Darlin took her creativity and created a look that turned out better than the photo. If you're on the fence about a hair stylist, hire them. You absolutely won't be disappointed. -

There's this preconceived notion out there that wedding makeup (especially for the bride) needs to be over the top and completely extra. If that's your style, totally fine, but I've always felt really uncomfortable with overdone makeup. Which is why finding Eye for Beauty was such a blessing! Kim really has this knack of doing makeup in such a way that you still look like yourself but fancier. I felt so comfortable with the work she did and I loved that way the pics turned out. She uses such high quality products that it stayed on all day, even through a super hot and sticky day outside! Also, the hairstyle that Meg did for me was absolutely perfect and exactly what I had wanted! The team works so quickly and efficiently while still having super high quality results! -

Our fantastic wedding planners Nicole & Kristin of Well-Dressed Events connected me with Kimberly of Eye for Beauty CT after I had a very disappointing trail at a nearby salon. Kimberly and I had an immediate connection and the trail went fantastic. I hired her on the spot.
She was attentive to my allergies and just really enhanced my natural look on the day of my wedding. She is incredibly talented and in the midst of the stress of a bridal suite, she was a calm force. Everyone left so incredibly happy!
I felt so strongly about the service she provided, that I’ve recommended her to my sister. She was married in early March and it was such a fantastic experience there as well. -

You'll be grateful that you hired Kim...
Finding a makeup/hair vendor is not an easy task. It's very easy to get discouraged by high prices, as well as be persuaded to have friends that offer to do your makeup/hair as a gift for free. As someone who experienced a bit of stress throughout the decision process, I was so grateful that I discovered Eye For Beauty LLC/Kim on Facebook. From the moment I first contacted Kim, I honestly thought she was too good to be true. She was so kind and responsive to me, she had glowing reviews online, and her client photos were stunning. Also, her prices are affordable for brides and bridal parties! Kim ended up doing my makeup, my mom's makeup, and my bridesmaid's hair and makeup. She is incredibly talented, reliable, and someone that I would highly recommend for your wedding makeup and hair. -

Kim was easy to keep in contact with. I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding. Since the wedding is on a Sunday I could not find a local place that was open early in the day. Since she was doing the brides makeup I was able to have her do my hair and make up early while the bride was having her hair done by a family friend. She was at the brides house at 8:30 am to set up and I arrived a few minutes early for my 9 am appointment. Kim went right to work. She requested that I email a few hair styles I was looking at! She was on point with my hair and make up. Her prices were extremely reasonable! I loved the way I looked for my friends wedding. -

The owner Kim was very unprofessional, cancelled the morning of my wedding, and ignored my emails afterwards. I had 2 make up artists and 2 hair stylists scheduled for me and my wedding party. Kim, the owner, was scheduled to do my makeup as she had done my makeup trial. She texted me, not even called, 2 hours before she was supposed to be at the location to tell me she was unable to come. She DID NOT send a make up artist in her place. With only 3 out of the 4 scheduled people showing up, our time was incredibly rushed. I had 7 bridesmaids in addition to myself. As the bride going last, my hair and makeup suffered the most. The makeup artist who ended up doing my makeup had no notes from Kim from my trial and did not have the same products used in the trial. My hair was rushed and fell completely flat within the hour. My bridesmaids had to track down a curling iron and recurl my entire head before the ceremony. Kim did not ONCE reach out after my wedding day to see if everything went okay in her absence. I had to reach out to her to discuss my issues with the services. I offered to speak with her on the phone several times and she declined each time, she only communicated over email with me. When I explained my issues, she was less than sympathetic. I asked for a partial refund on the wedding day services, since she only provided 3 out of 4 contracted stylists, but she ignored my email. I followed up several times, but she stopped responding all together. Overall, very unprofessional and created a lot of added stress for me as a bride on my wedding day.
*Editing to address the owners reply: The owner offered a fraction of a refund from what I requested. She only offered a refund on my trial service not the wedding day services, which were significantly more. I paid my invoice based on the contracted staff (4 people, not 3) and the schedule sent. I asked to speak on the phone with her several times, she refused. She left my final two emails requesting to discuss the issue and refund further unanswered. While she apologized in her email for not being able to make it, she never apologized for the poor and rushed services.
