  Great experience

  Lura and her team provided us with expert advice on handling our DIY wedding venue. They were there to help coordinate all vendors professionally and executed our schedule of events perfectly. The day was truly stress free and we got to enjoy our wedding party! It is clear that they truly enjoy what they do and they do it well. Would highly recommend!

  Lura and her team were absolutely amazing throughout my entire experience. She is so knowledgeable and handled so many things for me so I was stress free! Felt like I’d known Lura for years. Our day turned out exactly how I’d hoped and that would not have happened without Lura and her expertise. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

  So thankful for Extraordinary Weddings

  Lura is truly extraordinary. This wedding would not have happened without her support and expertise. This year was extremely busy and chaotic as we moved to Los Angeles, got a puppy, and I started business school while working full time. People wondered how I could juggle wedding planning on top of everything, much less at a venue up north. It's all thanks to Lura. She not only found the most beautiful and magical venue of our dreams, but she made the wedding planning process so smooth (and even fun)! She has wonderful relationships with top notch vendors (and builds strong ones with vendors we introduced to her), always has a solution, and is extremely organized. We truly enjoyed getting to know her in this whole process. On the wedding day, everything was executed perfectly by her and her team. It says a lot when guests told me after the wedding that they had the opportunity to meet her and that they thought she was incredible. We are going to miss working with her but know that she will make other future couples so happy!

  So professional and amazing!

  Lura was the perfect person to help plan our special day. Living outside of California, we desperately needed someone to help guide us through not only the planning process, but also ensure that we would be taken care of during our big day. Lura did both phenomenally. The thing that pushed us to choose Lura was her philosophy that you and your partner should feel like a guest at your own wedding. And we did feel this way. She was on top of all things and ensured that if anything went wrong, that it was corrected, and we were none the wiser. Additionally, her contacts in the surrounding area, and the relationships she has with them, ensured that we had access to the best vendors on offer. Each vendor we used was so knowledgable, professional, and affordable. Something that every person wants when looking at their budget, and trying to match it up with their dream wedding. The planning process was meticulously documented, and had so much visibility to ensure that everyone knew what was being done or what needed to get done. I especially enjoyed the planning software that was used by each person, so that we all knew who was responsible for what.
  
  Lura is also such an amazing person outside of wedding planning. So kind at heart, you will end up being more friends than just having a professional relationship.

  Fun and Stress-Free Wedding Planning Experience!

  I can’t recommend Lura enough! She helped us plan our 120 guest wedding this year in Geyserville, CA. Throughout our engagement leading up to the wedding, Lura guided us through the planning process in a fun and stress-free way! There are so many little details involved in planning that she flawlessly handled for us behind the scenes, which was amazing as it made wedding planning not a full time job for me. She was a great confidant and had wonderful advice on all of my questions. We were also really happy with the recommendations for wedding vendors that she gave us.
  
  On the day of our wedding, it was unexpectedly raining (in May – who would have thought). Lura went above and beyond to execute our original vision of having cocktail hour and dinner outside in a stunning vineyard at the venue. Her philosophy is that the couple getting married (and their families) should feel like guests on wedding day. The Extraordinary Events team made that happen by taking care of every detail – including managing any difficult guests – so that we could be truly present to enjoy our big day.   Planning a wedding is no simple feat and Jeannine and Lura make it look easy. From countless hours on the phone, negotiating with vendors, handling all the different personalities, helping me out when I felt overwhelmed - they truly went above and beyond. Not only are they expert planners, they are really in tune with the needs of their clients. I can't even count the amount of times it felt like Jeannine read my mind. They truly care about you and make sure the wedding runs smoothly.

  Amazing Planner and Partner in the process

  We just celebrated the Wedding of my daughter. Our process started prior to the pandemic and the full wedding was delayed by 1 year. Lura went so far above the contract by helping us with a small ceremony during the pandemic and the full ceremony when it was safe. I couldn't imagine having the wedding without Lura's help. She helped me relax and forget the details so that I could focus on the special day for my daughter - twice.

  We were new to Sebastopol last year when we began planning our wedding. My fiancé and I are 70 years young and just needed someone to help us since it had been decades since we had a wedding.
  When we met Lura that day in Starbucks I was a little reluctant but as soon as she started talking to us I knew she was the one we wanted to ensure our day would be perfect.
  She and her team were seriously so great. She would always assure me everything was on schedule and just fine when I would freak out.
  It was totally seamless, professional and we had one one ounce of worry on our day. We felt like guests at our own wedding. She stayed the entire time and at the end of the night you would have never known there was a wedding in our backyard. It was spotless inside and out!.

We really wanted to be guests at our own party and she made that happen! She is very positive and organized and was quick to respond to any questions that we had. Lura checked in a few days beforehand to ask for the day of timeline and was incredibly supportive throughout the entire day. Everything went super smooth and many of our guests commented on how hard she worked! Do not hesitate to reach out to her if you're looking for someone to really take care of you!

  We are so incredibly impressed with Lura’s work - she held everything together seamlessly! Her communication and organizational skills are something I aspire to myself! Our wedding day was perfect and we can’t imagine it without Lura - and her staff! A wedding at an outdoor private family home is challenging to manage, and Lura executed flawlessly!

  Extraordinary Weddings - Lura Albee is amazing!

  Our daughter's wedding was at the top of a mountain at a winery where everything had to be bussed up and set up. Lura was able to carefully coordinate all of this, and pulled it together with style and grace. She was professional in helping us to negotiate with vendors, and had great experienced suggestions that aligned with our vision. Her relationships with the winery staff and caterers as well as the professional way she managed them led to a successful event. Our wedding had a high degree of difficulty, and Lura worked to make it an beautiful success!

  I absolutely adore Lura!! I just started working with her for my wedding. And already I feel like she is family!! I have been so stressed about all the details about my day.   At Mountain House Estate we get to observe weddings with Planners weekly. There is a difference! Weddings that use 'friends' that have done it in the past, are usually stressful for all involved.   There is no way I would have been able to enjoy my wedding day as much as I had if it weren't for Lura and her team. For over a year and a half I had the pleasure to have Lura as my full service coordinator and she never missed a beat. The wedding day had to be the topping of the cake. The wedding day fell into place so smooth and seamless. The team worked excellent with every vendor and everyone was able to stay on the same page. I can't thank Lura and her team enough for helping us achieve our perfect wedding. The planning process and day of our wedding turned out beyond my highest expectations. We joke that we didn't get the full wedding experience because we didn't feel stressed throughout the planning but we both know that it was so easy because of Lura.

  There is no way I would have been able to enjoy my wedding day as much as I had if it weren't for Lura and her team. For over a year and a half I had the pleasure to have Lura as my full service coordinator and she never missed a beat. The wedding day had to be the topping of the cake. The wedding day fell into place so smooth and seamless. The team worked excellent with every vendor and everyone was able to stay on the same page. I can't thank Lura and her team enough for helping us achieve our perfect wedding. The planning process and day of our wedding turned out beyond my highest expectations. We joke that we didn't get the full wedding experience because we didn't feel stressed throughout the planning but we both know that it was so easy because of Lura.

  Lura from Extraordinary Weddings was incredible. I was a budget bride trying my best to do it all myself, and when I got too overwhelmed and out of my league, Lura came to the rescue. She totally understood my vision for our wedding and brought it to life so beautifully.   Lura was amazing and made our wedding day perfect! She was always incredibly positive and organized throughout the planning and took care of all the vendors and details and orchestrated the flow of the day with remarkable ease and grace. I t think there were some minor problems going on behind the scenes that I didn't even know about since Lura handled it all. She asked me at the end what would have made it better. Honestly, nothing. So happy we hired her!
