Patrice was a fantastic wedding coordinator and she made the wedding day incredibly low stress. We got married at the Willard Hotel and Patrice is an expert at working with the venue and everyone there. When we booked the venue, we were told the first thing we should do is hire Patrice and that was fantastic advice. Her assistant on the day of the wedding, Lauryn, went above and beyond to help us and our guests have a great day. Would recommend this team 100%!! -

Persian/Indian Fusion Wedding
We worked with Patrice for nearly 18 months for full-service wedding planning, and we couldn’t have asked for a better partner. Ours wedding was a multicultural/fusion wedding, a full-day celebration blending Indian (Gujarati) and Persian traditions with two ceremonies (Hindu and Sofreh Aghd) and a reception. Patrice helped us from the very beginning, from finding our venue, building our vendor team, and crafting a detailed timeline. Her experience and attention to detail made a huge difference, especially for a day as complex as ours.
Patrice is well known in the Persian community around the DMV for executing beautiful Iranian weddings (our sofreh was exactly what I had envisioned!), but her experience with fusion weddings was equally invaluable. While we provided cultural guidance along the way for the Indian events, she helped make the process feel smooth and supported us in every detail. Her team also brought thoughtful touches like a South Asian team member who supported my husband’s family with their ceremony and little details, like making sure our shoes were tucked away at the mandap or ensuring our Indian clothes were draped correctly.
Her calm presence, professionalism, and wealth of experience truly made our wedding day stress-free and joyful. We’re so grateful we had her by our side. -

Patrice is a MUST for Your Wedding Day!
Patrice was recommended to me by my venue, The Willard InterContinental. She is so professional, has great recommendations, gave great service, reasonably priced, and most importantly - made the wedding day so easy.
While I used Patrice only for Day of Coordination, she became more involved with my other vendors one month before the wedding. Even if I had questions or needed recommendations before the day, she was available and responded quickly. Patrice also came to our food tasting a few months before the wedding and took notes/asked great day-of questions of our preferences of food, plating, napkin designs, etc.
Patrice gave cost saving suggestions that our venue forgot to mention - like under 21 guests (but not children pricing) should have a non-alcohol package. Patrice also brought a coordinator with no extra cost.
The real magic of having Patrice was that our ceremony and dinner were in the same hall - with the room having one hour to fully change during cocktail hour. Patrice and her team, the Willard team, and our florist Blue Vanda magically changed the room with a full Chuppah set up to a beautiful room ready for dinner. Everything was set up perfectly, and I didn't need to think about any of the details or set up for the entire wedding.
There are so many details that you have on your wedding day and so much going on - having Patrice is so important for a stress free day. I would 100% hire Patrice again and highly recommend her for a seamless experience! -

Patrice and her team were truly a dream on our wedding day. From our first introduction call to the hours leading up to the event, she had recommendations, advice, and solutions to offer which made working with her a pleasure. She went above and beyond to provide us with recommendations for more niche vendors - like a Dabke band for our Lebanese wedding.
Leading up to our big day she was responsive, attentive, and easy to work with--always letting us know she was there for us! As a bride who is a planner herself and was already working with a venue I wasn't sure how necessary a day-of planner would be, but looking back, I am not sure how I would have done it without Patrice. She ensured the day ran smoothly which meant we could all enjoy the day without worrying about anything! Our vendors enjoyed working with her too! 10/10 would recommend Patrice and her team. -

Poopak did an absolutely incredible job for our Sofreh Aghd! We had a very specific idea of what we wanted for the Sofreh and she captured our vision for it perfectly!! She also really helped us with our ceremony as we wanted to incorporate some Persian traditions. She walked us through everything we needed to know and gave us everything we needed for it. She was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. The wedding venue wasn’t the most flexible with setup time, but she made everything work. The Sofreh Aghd was the highlight of the wedding and my friends and family all loved it! We would recommend her to anyone and would give her a 10 out of 10!! -

PERFECT sofreh aghd
Patrice made the most beautiful sofreh aghd for our Persian wedding ceremony. She was absolutely wonderful to work with - always great with communicating, asking great questions, and offering lots of options. She was able to execute on our vision without us even being able to fully articulate it. We wanted our sofreh to look glamorous but still blend in with the natural surroundings (we had an outdoor ceremony), she did a perfect job of weaving the two. She also seamlessly incorporated family and Persian traditions into the sofreh. Everything was truly PERFECT and we were so happy how it all turned out. Our experience working with Patrice was nothing short of 5 stars and would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone! -

So many wonderful things to say about Patrice Golesorkhi and her team!! Patrice worked with me on a partial planning package for over 6 months to help plan my wedding. From the very beginning she was *always* available to answer my questions and so quick to respond. She recommended vendors when I needed them (with discounts since she collabs with them). She's very willing and open to doing what the bride and groom want on their day, and always shared her expert advice based on her many wedding experiences. She was always on top of the planning process, making sure we had everything we needed booked and planned in a timely manner. She planned the schedule for day-of, and managed all the details like talking one-on-one to vendors, helping me think of all the details I may or may not want to have, gathering information from me such as seating charts and inventory lists. My family and I were able to sit back and relax while she so professionally orchestrated everything without a hitch on the day-of exactly how we had planned and talked about, sometimes even exceeding expectations with her arrangements of the decor we provided for her. She even helped me when our linens went missing the few days after the wedding. Absolutely A++ professional experience, I would 100% recommend her to any friend looking for a planner! -

PG and her team put together the most beautiful sofreh aghd for my persian/christian hybrid wedding. Her attention to detail was impeccable. She took my vision and brought it to life in the most elegant way. I am a super particular person who also doesn't enjoy being too far in the weeds, and I gave her very high level guidelines on what I wanted my persian sofreh to look like - she knocked it out of the park. DO NOT HESITATE to work with her and exclusively events! -

My biggest regret in wedding planning was not hiring Poopak Patrice Golesorkhi sooner in my planning process! If you are considering hiring someone, maybe just a day of coordinator… stop and just hire Poopak to do it all. She is the best and you deserve the best!
I planned my wedding in Fall 2019, secured the venue, majority of my vendors… I had a general handle on things. But… then the pandemic hit! I moved our date three more times to March 2022. Each time, I had to coordinate all the rescheduling…by the last time I was hitting major planning fatigue and needed a full-time planner to take over. Moving it so many times, and all the uncertainty… my heart wasn’t in my wedding anymore.
But then I met Poopak, after my entertainment (lights/sound/DJ) company Exclusively Entertainment recommended her. To be clear, Poopak’s reputation absolutely preceded her. A legend in the Persian Wedding business, I have seen many brides sing her praises. Immediately she set me at ease. She is incredibly disciplined and doesn’t want to ever stress out her brides. Before we were close to the wedding date, she would send me a few ‘tasks’ (usually questionnaires) and ease me into the things I had to do. Then two months before the wedding, when things started get real, she laid out the entire day of schedule, down to details that I would have never thought to consider.
She spent the weeks leading up to my wedding coordinating with all my vendors, ensuring everyone was on the same page and that everyone’s needs were met. I was in AWE of her and I don’t know how I would’ve handled that work alone. Risk mitigation at its finest. Several of my other vendors personally told me how exceptionally sharp and on it Poopak was, thanking me for bringing her in! You know she’s good when other small business owners are grateful!
The day of my wedding I barely saw Poopak. I want to say that nothing went wrong that day, but I know I’m wrong. But she shielded my groom and I from all of it! As far as we know, wedding went off without a hitch. I even remember at one point I was warm, and my friend went to tell her and she had already turned up the AC. She knew I was warm before I did!
I can’t imagine how comforting this process would have been if I hired her right from the beginning, she’s been throwing weddings long before this pandemic and she’s thrown so many since that anything you’re worried about, she’s already seen it, solved it, and now knows how to avoid it.
JUST A LEGEND. HIRE HER AND HER TEAM ASAP. -

Let me just start by saying that if it wasn't for Poopak/Patrice and her services for our wedding, I am 100% certain it would not have been the magical day/evening that it was. From the beginning, when you meet her, there is a wealth of knowledge and wisdom that really sets the tone for the entire experience. There was nothing short of the utmost professionalism, support, knowledge and kindness from Poopak/Patrice joon. She was an incredible asset to this entire process. The truly spectacular part of working with Poopak was her ability to bring to life all the things that were important to me for my aghd. That was a beautiful sofreh and her ability to make everything happen for us on our wedding day will be something that I will never forget. I'll be honest, on my wedding day, I was not stressed even for a second because I knew Poopak was there handling literally EVERYTHING. That in itself is priceless. Her work is priceless and her kindness is something I will never forget. Thank you Poopak joon! -

Beyond fabulous
Where do I start!! From the day our friends recommended Poopak to weeks after our wedding Poopak was one person we looked to for any advice, be it an opinion or a hiccup. She was always courteous and very very understanding. She has immense experience and it shows (in her words not on her beautiful face). She also did a fantastic job with our sofreh, just look at the photos. Above all, Poopak had a very calming effect on me and my husband. It was like she had the solution to every problem of ours and ladies/ gents YOU NEED THAT! Our day went so smooth, people couldn't stop raving about how well it was conducted and planned. We can't thank you enough Poopak, You almost are a magician! -

Having PG as my day of coordinator and sofreh designer was hands down the best decision I could have made for my wedding this past November. She was always super responsive, very creative when I needed help, and extremely well-connected in the wedding industry. She ensured that everything ran flawlessly on the day of the wedding, and for that, I am forever grateful. Additionally, her sofreh design was STUNNING. She truly brought my vision to life, and one month later, I still receive compliments about how beautiful my sofreh was. PG is the wedding superhero that every bride needs!!! -

We hired PG for our Persian wedding in Spain , and she spent a lot of time with us before the wedding make sure all things were planned properly and then in Spain she not only helped with the day of but the rehearsal as well. She was very professional and her work was beautiful

PG Saves the Day...and days leading up to the wedding
There are no words to capture how grateful I am to have had PG working with us and by our side both while planning the wedding and on our special day. I first saw her in action at one of my cousin’s weddings, then another time at another cousin’s wedding. I saw and heard what an amazingly positive impact she had on both of those weddings. So, when we started planning the wedding about 3 months before the event, I knew PG would be instrumental in making our day special.
As I’m sure everyone is aware (probably more than I was at the time) planning a wedding takes time, energy, and the ability to be adaptable in order to maintain sanity with hiccups that arise along the way. Luckily, we were working with the BEST, the one and only PG to plan out every detail. She is intelligent, practical, flexible, supportive, punctual, kind, professional, and really cares about her bride, groom, and the whole family. Those are just a few of the words that come to mind, but just about now I wish I was an author to be able to more eloquently describe all that she brings to the table.
Just to provide a bit of background, I am Iranian and my (now) husband is half American and half Salvadorean. PG was able to relate to people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds, which is a major skill in my eyes. With very little time to plan, PG was very timely & effective in introducing us to various top-notch vendors to meet the needs of a 220+ person wedding ceremony/reception. Not only did she introduce us to the best, she also kept in mind the budget we had to work with and introduced us to various vendors with different price ranges to allow us to customize what worked best for us. This was a huge plus! She is very well respected as the professional she is by the community (photographers, makeup artists, videographers, other brides etc.)
PG was also very kind to work with me on my Sofreh Aghd. I had this idea of making a good amount of the items myself, but was not sure how to arrange everything in an aesthetically pleasing way and knew I would not be able to set things up the day of. After mostly everything was ready, she took time to come by my house and work with me and my mom to set things up, as a sort of dry run. Another moment where I was amazed by her craft and talent! Undoubtedly, my Sofreh Aghd would have been much more beautiful and professional if I had also relied on her for her full extraordinary designs, but it meant so much that she was willing to work with me and help me achieve this using items that had some sort of extra significance to my then fiancé and I.
To say the least, she kept me on track (as much as she possible could for someone with my procrastinating tendencies) to think about the things I had no idea I needed to think about in order to give her enough information to do what she does flawlessly. She put together a detailed timeline based on our wishes of how we envisioned the day going. She also coordinated with all of our vendors so we didn’t have to worry about any of that the day of.
If you’re thinking you can do it all on your own or rely on a friend to do that, I strongly recommend against that. I know now how expensive each component of planning a wedding can be, but this is one expense that I am ecstatic that I did not forego. Instead of dumping the coordination and everything that requires attendance on my mom/bridesmaids, PG was able to work with them to fill in the gaps since I was stuck to a chair getting hair and makeup done for what felt like ‘all day’.
There is no way I can fully capture everything she did in this review. Not only because there are too many to list, but also because I’m quite sure many additional things came up that I didn’t even anticipate that she dealt with so effectively on the fly. It would not do her and her efforts justice if I tried to provide a list of things she did so that our day could be filled with joy.
I will also just share one story about her assistant Asli. She was so incredibly kind and resourceful. At some point, the button fell off of my purse and I don’t even remember mentioning it, but she noticed and started sewing it back one. This is the level of thoughtfulness and care you get from PG & her team. I really don’t know what the day would have looked like without working with her in advance and knowing I could rely on her for day-of activities. My family and I truly do not have enough words of gratitude for PG & Asli, but we consider ourselves very lucky to work with them! -

Patrice a lifesaver! My husband is Persian, and we wanted a traditional Persian Ceremony which I knew nothing about. Patrice is a pro at Persian ceremonies and took care of all of the details and the beautiful Sofreh.
Besides being an expert with Persian Ceremonies, she's truly a professional and made sure every detail of my wedding was planned and handled well. She has great relationships with the top vendors in DC which makes things much easier, all of my vendors were excited to know that I Patrice was my wedding planner.
We planned our wedding in 5 months :) so ... that alone should give you some insight on how great and organized Patrice is because not everyone can pull that off. She was helpful, attentive and responsive whenever I needed her. There were no problems - as far as I know, on my actual wedding day, she took care of everything, and I was to relax and enjoy the beautiful day. -

Our wedding was perfect thanks to Patrice. I would use Exclusively Events again for a wedding or any other event without hestiation, and will absolutely recommend Exclusively Events to others.
Patrice began working with us several months before our wedding of around 100 guests at the St. Regis in Washington, DC, functioning as a day-of coordinator. Patrice helped us extensively leading up to the wedding, coordinating with vendors, giving us advice, building the wedding timeline, getting us discounts at other vendors, etc. We leaned on her frequently for expert advice, all of which improved our wedding significantly.
On the day of the wedding I have no idea what we would have done without Patrice and her assistant. The entire wedding went perfectly despite any number of emergencies that would have normally caused huge disasters. Patrice was everywhere. All of our decorations were put together far better than we could have hoped. Everybody always knew exactly what to do and where to be.
My now-wife and I didn't feel like we had to worry about a single thing. I have nightmares about what would have happened without Patrice. We will definitely use Exclusively Events again for all of our event planning needs in the future. -

You know that you are in good hands when you walk in to the planner office with stress of ALL the planning you gotta do and all the sudden as soon as she starts talking, you feel and you KNOW that you are in great hands. Patrice not only made the planning part so easy but also enjoyable. She pointed out to the details that no one ever talked about. she walked through all the steps and helped me plan each and every part with her. She is always available, and response with the absolute positiveness.
prior to the wedding, she helped me walk through the event with each individual vendor to make sure everyone are on the same page. She spent days and days with me to check the venues and all detailed activities that needed.
So guess what! my wedding day was exactly as planned with no surprises! everyone knew their part and everything was on-time as planned. more important of all, she became a great friend that I always cherish and so proud of.

My fiance and I were planning our wedding from abroad, and were only in town for short periods of time. Patrice was with us throughout the entire process, always going above and beyond for us. She would take time out of her busy schedule to come to our house to go over details, or to accompany us on appointments, and closer to the time of the wedding she was putting 110% of her effort towards our wedding, as if it was her only priority. She is extremely hard working, dedicated, and passionate about what she does, and it really pays off on the day of the wedding when your event is beautifully coordinated and smoothly run. Because of Patrice we were able to enjoy our wedding day and embrace every moment without worrying about all the details. Thank you so much Patrice! We couldn't have done it without you! -

Patrice's experience is mostly with the Persian community, however she has recently expanded her services to other religions and ethnicity's. This was very important to us, as I am a Christian American and my fiance is a Muslim American and we were looking for someone that would understand our cultures and expectations for our wedding day. Patrice has a beautiful office where my fiance and I met her with our friends. She was very friendly and offered us the full wedding planner package, which included, help with budgeting, vendor recommendations (based on budget and overall wedding style), review of contracts and the full day-of planning and coordination. After receiving a few other quotes from planners, Patrice was very reasonable and my fiance and I felt confident that she would help us plan and execute a fabulous wedding. Patrice offered us an extensive list of vendors and even met with us and the vendor when we requested her. She is a VIP at the Mayflower Hotel in DC and sat with us at the negotiation table to secure a date in their large ballroom. I do not think we would have been able to get the ballroom at the Mayflower if it was not for Patrice. Patrice looked over all of our contracts before we signed them and was always available to discuss an issue over the telephone. Patrice quickly responded to all of my emails. When there were issues with any of our vendors, she was a terrific sounding board and gave great advice. Patrice's value is in the day-of planning and coordinating. We had a very large (250) wedding and I do not think the day would have ran as smoothly as it did without her and her team. She was always by my side asking me questions and coordinating the day and things were brought to her attention. I highly recommend Patrice. -

Our guests were simply in awe of it. As for the year of planning leading up to my wedding, she was with me every step of the way: from invitation wording to vendor selection to color and fashion coordination, Poopak is everything a busy bride could ask for. She is proactive, communicative, organized, and patient. She established a great relationship with all my vendors, which relieved my stress and workload a great deal.
