Zahira Brought Our Vision To Life

Zahíra brought our vision for the wedding to life, which was no small feat. In addition to being a destination wedding couple, we are not like most couples - we both cared deeply about the details of our wedding (it's *our* day, not just the bride's day) and Zahíra was responsive to the fact that our joint decisions took time, deliberation and consideration. Nonetheless, she and Sofía were very responsive to our questions and also helped us out when we were stressed about the looming big day. Zahira made time to meet with us when we visited PR a year and change before the wedding, set up in person meetings with vendors, and supported us with our rehearsal the Thursday before the wedding. On the day of, she and Sofía were at the venue early, supported with the preparation and were helping direct the many moving parts of our wedding at all times. We didn't have to worry the day of the wedding about any of the details, which allowed us to be completely present. What a gift that was. Thank you for your dedication, your support, and the hours of hard work you put into bringing our vision to life. We know we asked a lot of questions and we appreciate what a phenomenal job you did with our wedding. Our guests and even the venue staff told us repeatedly that our wedding was the best one they've seen in years (and for many, ever), which you helped make happen.

Zahira and her amazing team are a dream come true for wedding planning. We just returned from our April 29th destination wedding at the Condado Vanderbilt and we have Zahira to thank for bringing together the wedding of our dreams. She was so friendly and willing to work with us to design our wedding. We also hired her for our welcome dinner to welcome our out of town guests. Our guests were blown away. The attention to detail, the design, the entertainment and the food was all 5 star. Our wedding ceremony and reception was flawless. Zahira has contacts for every service that you could need throughout PR which makes planning the wedding a breeze. She has an amazing taste in design and she made our dreams come true. Plus she is so easy to talk to. Her team-Michelle and Wanda, are also wonderful additions to her company and were present for any needs that we had during our wedding weekend. My expectations were beyond met. My vision came to life a thousand tons over ! Even after the devastation of hurricane Maria my wedding planner called weekly and assured me things would go on as planned. Where do I even begin??!!! Zahira, Karisha and the whole Eventus team are beyond amazing!!! With their help we planned our wedding for over a year and when our wedding day came it blew all our dreams out of the water! Our wedding was beyond what we had ever expected! Every dream we had ever had came true this day! Karisha took the time and learned what our vision was and built a relationship with us to help bring our vision to life! Karisha was available every moment we needed her! She provided us with extremely top notch vendors and all while maintaining our budget and I must say she did an AMAZING JOB with our budget!!! All throughout the process and even on the day of Karisha and her team did a great job with everything! The whole wedding flowed perfectly and I had no worries or stressors. Our wedding day was beyond perfect! thanks to Karisha and Eventus. Everything about that day was flawless. We had the pleasure to work with Karisha and Eventus for two years before our wedding date.The whole process was fun and Eventus always made sure that everything was under control. Karisha really took the time to get to know us and I was amazed at how she could transform my ideas into what I wanted even when I wasn't even sure! All the vendors they recommended were excellent and definetly exceded our expectations. Our wedding weekend celebration began on Friday with our wedding welcome reception and rehearsal. Karisha made sure that our entire wedding party knew how to proceed on the wedding. On Saturday, our wedding day and shared birthdays, Karisha went above and beyond to bring me and my fiancé birthday cards, balloons, and gifts to our separate rooms. Zahira worked seamlessly with our hotel point of contact to make our day exceedingly special. We didn't have to lift a finger or worry about any of the logistics of our day. As the bride, I was never stressed or worried on my wedding day because I knew we were in good hands. Karisha ensured that the wedding timeline schedule was upheld and we started everything on time. Our guests were blown away by the attention to detail from the drinks served in coconuts, to the elaborate layout of the reception, and excellent service provided by the hotel staff. During the reception, guests commented on how delicious the food tasted. The welcome reception and brunch were no exception. Our engaged friends kept asking how we managed to put together such an amazing wedding weekend and it was largely due to Karisha and Zahira who helped us plan an elaborate, fun-filled wedding weekend. These two ladies turned our wedding planning experience into something magical. We cannot say enough about Karisha ensuring that our dream wedding became a reality within our budget. Our wedding day was the best day of my life and I will never be able to thank Karisha and Zahira enough for their outstanding service. I just got married in San Juan, Puerto Rico on 7/1/16 and had the best wedding planning experience thanks to Eventus By Zahira. We worked with wedding planner Karisha and she was amazing throughout the whole process. Since I live in CT and was planning a destination wedding in Puerto Rico, Karisha was patient, listened to every detail and most importantly wanted our vision come to life. In April we went to PR to meet our vendors and Karisha was with us at every meeting and she was so patient and organized. I felt so relieved that she was handling everything with me being so far away and I had my dream wedding come to life thanks to her. One of the things that I really love about working with Zahira was that she and her team show us at any time that they care about my wedding and that I was important. During the process of the wedding planning I feel like I have the only bride that she have, because the attention they gave us at all times. She not only recomend the best vendors, she work with me with my budget, my style, she help me even with some family isues. She always respond to all my questions and my text. OMG! I'm so greatful to have Zahira & here team at my wedding. You create my dream wedding come to life. Our Wedding was a weekend wedding, with different venues and events, a lot of logistics to make it happen but Zahira and her team give me the peace that I need it to be just the bride, I enjoy every step of the way of planning my wedding. Zahira and Jose were phenomenal to work with. Everything was coordinated perfectly. The entire event went off without a hitch (which from what we hear is pretty unusual for a wedding). I attribute that to Zahira and her amazing sense of professionalism and organization. They ensured that we were relaxed and enjoying ourselves the entire time. We did not worry about a thing. Our guests had a great time (many of them saying it was the best wedding they had ever attended). The day after our wedding we discovered that we had actually gotten married on Zahira's birthday. (Happy Belated Zahira!) We can't express how grateful we are that Zahira and Jose were a part of our special day. Thank You!

Zahira and her team made our dreams come true! She planned a 3 day wedding destination event in Puerto Rico that was luxurious, entertaining and memorable. She exceeded our every expectation. Once seeing Eventus by Zahira on wedding wire and all of the positive feedback, we didn't even look for another wedding planner. Zahira and her assistants were very attentive and helpful during the entire wedding planning process. They were nice enough to travel for an entire weekend Friday-MONDAY to Culebra an outer island of PR to give us our dream Valentines Day wedding. Zahira is a professional and her talent is expressed greatly in her work. It was so nice working with someone who is truly a beautiful, inspirational and dedicated individual. Zahira helped us with partial wedding planning and she was fantastic! We selected the vendors and she coordinated everything with them a couple months before the wedding and she also kept everything running smoothly the day of our wedding. My husband and I wanted to get married on Playa Flamenco in Culebra. I called three other wedding planners before Zahira, including Sandy Malone and Maria Lugo, and they were very negative about our desires, saying it was not a good idea. In fact Sandy straight out said we should get married in Vieques, even after I explained how important it was to us to get married in Culebra. But, Zahira from the very first phone call was super positive, supportive, and encouraging, saying she could help us to have a beautiful wedding where we wanted it for our budget. And she did! I know logistically it was a challenge, but she took it on with full-force and our wedding turned out better than I could have ever imagined. She hired EXCELLENT vendors, including Gabriel Gonzalez for photography, Lorraine's flowers for decor, Food Paradise for catering, David Gonzalez for DJ, and Atlin and Zoe for hair and makeup. I highly recommend Zahira, she has fantastic style, knows the best vendors, and is a great planner.

She took care of every little detail so we could do what we had to do: have a good time!! Could not ask for anybody else to be by our side on our wedding day. The ceremony and reception space were beautiful. She did a first class job with decor. There was a bit of a hiccup during the ceremony with the microphones during a couple of the readings but besides that everything went on without interruption, nice and smooth. She was great to work with and really took care of anything we needed that day. Wouldn't have been the same without her and her team. Thanks again. Our wedding was exactly what we dreamed of.

I was an Atlanta Bride planning a wedding in San Juan, Puerto Rico. My original plan was to only hire a day of coordinator. When my FI and I went to Puerto Rico to scout location, at our second appointment the hotel contact did not show up. I started to panic and realized I needed a full service planner. I interviewed 3 planners prior to speaking with Zahira. At the end of our phone call I know I wanted her to plan my wedding. I had actually seen a wedding video on youtube and the wedding was beautiful. We started planner right after I had booked the wedding venue 10 months prior to the wedding. Zahira kept us on track and worked with all our other vendors (Cake, Decor, officiant and DJ). She had meeting the Soccor for Ever after events several time to make sure my vision was executed. When we arrived in San Juan on June 6th to get ready for the wedding Zahira met us with items we had mailed directly to her to make. The ceremony and reception site was exactly what I expected. I cried because our day went off without a hitch and the room was beautiful. After the wedding I needed items mailed back to me and Zahira did not hesitate to send them back. She is a wonderful planner and very responsive.

Zahira provided wedding services above and beyond any expectations that we had. If we could have all of our friends and family have their weddings in Puerto Rico with Zahira we would, because she was on top of everything. We wanted our wedding planner to take care of everything and call the shots, and even though we put everything in her hands (which may be even harder than trying to work with people who actually want to give her more guidance) and she gave us the perfect wedding. Gracias a Eventus by Zahira puedo decir que tuve la boda que jamás imagine poder tener... Agradezco mucho a Zahira por toda su atención, disponibilidad y profesionalismo lo cual hizo que mi boda quedara (tal como la describieron amistades y familiares) perfecta! Cada detalle, representaba toda la coordinación y buen gusto de Eventus. Incluyendo las invitaciones que quedaron espectaculares, siendo un preambulo para lo que fue la boda.
Desde el comienzo supo como orientarme y entender mi gusto y lo que deseaba para que ese gran día fuese inolvidable.

Wow! This woman is so talented. If you want a chich, sophisticated, gorgeous, young, spectacular and hip wedding, CALL ZAHIRA! Her staff arranged everything for our wedding on mother's day. She does it all, invitations, flower arrangements, wedding protocol coordination, etc. She is a problem solver and knows how to stick to a budget and keep the event VERY HAUTE and FIERCE! Our guests have never experienced a wedding as beautiful, fun, well decorated and executed as the one provided by Zahira and her staff.

My wedding happend on December 5th, 2009. The services provided was beyond my expectation. All other services recomended by her were also perfect (photograph, ballroom, music!, meal and beverages). Eventus (Zahira) became an additonal member of my family giving always the extra mile to create a perfect scene for all we ask and request. Starting with the theme colors of the wedding, selecting the best combination of flowers that create a very romantic and chic eviroment, to assisting my wife with her dress evey time needed. This was an event to remeber!!!

One of the best things I did was hire Zahira. At first I thought I could do this on my own, since it was such a small wedding. But I soon realized that I needed someone in PR that knew the vendors and could be my advocate. Zahira made sure that I had the wedding of my dreams. She was so sweet and once I hired her I felt like a huge weight had been lifted. She has two great assistants that I worked with, Rebecca who quickly handled any and all issues and another assistant I met the day of the wedding and I feel terrible that I don't remember her name, but she was wonderful. She has a great team and she knows everyone! Even when we went to get our marriage license, the official mentioned his niece who is a photographer and she knew her. She's also fun to work with, ready with calming words and a good sense of humor. Most of all, she is on your (the Bride's) side. She will make sure you get exactly what you want. Actually, my wedding was better than I imagined. You will not go wrong with her! :)

Zahira and her assistant Karisha were more than a dream to work with! From the moment I met them, it's obvious they are passionate about their work. We used Eventus by Zahira for our destination wedding in PR for full service planning. Zahira was very friendly and helpful throughout the planning process. She set up several appointments with vendors when we made a short trip to PR during the planning process and even accompanied us for the site visit for our venue.

We could not have planned the wedding without Zahira and her assistants! She was wonderful in finding exactly what we wanted from our vendors and got us several quotes for each service. My husband and I had a strict budget to work with and Zahira was able to help us find local vendors to keep the costs down. Since we don't speak Spanish, it was very helpful for her to communicate with these vendors for us.

The day of the wedding ran very smoothly because of Zahira and her assistant. They received all of the deliveries at the venue and made sure that everything was set up correctly. She also handled all of the payments to vendors so my husband and I could enjoy every minute of our wedding.

There were a few problems with our wedding website, but as soon as we brought it to Zahira's attention, she quickly had the problems fixed.

I would definitely recommend Eventus by Zahira for your event planning!

The service was great. There were times I did not receive immediate response and I had to resend the email but it was minimal. Zahira, is the most creative person I know. She would think of things out of the box. She envisioned my entire wedding from my cake design requests. Her office staff was the also the nicest. I was able to call after hours and get help with my questions. Your wedding will be a definite hit with Eventus. My guests and others I have shared my pictures with are amazed of my destination wedding.

It was everything I wanted, beatiful, elegant, romantic.. amazing! Zahiran and her team gave me a wonderful day. We married on the beach, simple and elegant, our colors were silver and white. The table setting was gorgeous with fine china and rhinestone accents, lit candles with a orchid as our centerpiece. The chef who cooked for us was professional and the food melted in our mouths. Everything was incredible.

Do not have a doubt, hire her in a second. She has an amazing eye for beauty and arranged my day including reverand, photographer, videographer, chef and make up artist. We planned it via email and everything went smoothly.

After consulting with different wedding planners in PR we selected Eventus by Zahira to plan and decorate our wedding. Working with Zahira was great!! She is full of ideas and her personality will make the planing process an easy one.

On our wedding day everything went perfect!! The decorations were beautiful. Just what I wanted!! I would recommend Zahira to anyone thinking about getting married in Puerto Rico.

I must say the wedding planner (Karisha her assistnat) came through at the day of the wedding. I did have concerns at the beginning stages of the planning. The responsive was ok not great. I think I was expecting one thing and didn't receive what I was expecting. I had some issues on switching the assistant that had originally been assigned to me. She had left Zahira and I was not informed in a proper manner. Small issues like that came up, but at the end Karisha was there and made sure everything went smooth. I do think I could have made some or most of the appointments myself, but I decided to hire a planner because it was a destination wedding. All in all, it was good, but had some small issues along the way.

When I first met Zahira, I was very excited to work with her. Needless to say, things changed. She was out of town & wasn't available until 3 days before my wedding. I reached out to her before my wedding to inquire about the timeline and wedding day protocol and also sent her the vendor contracts without her asking for it. The timeline had errors on the day of the wedding despite meeting with her the night before. Each time I, my husband, or bridal party would ask a question about the timeline it seemed as if she had no clue what was going on. Each time I looked for her during the wedding, she was never around. Her assistant informed me that she was "downstairs" (which doesn't make sense since my wedding was in the Salon Indigo on the 2nd floor of La Concha) It makes me wonder if she was working a second wedding simultaneously. I mostly dealt with her "assistant" at the wedding who seemed more like an intern. When she approached us, she seemed annoyed as if it wasn't her job to be there for us. I could tell she never looked at my contracts and knew nothing about the details of my wedding (i.e. the floral decor was different than what was contracted for). On the day of, I asked if I could take a look at everything, and she told me not to worry and trust her. Big mistake. She didn't have the DJ test the equipment in the reception room before dinner, and pulled my guests out of cocktail hour to only have them wait outside of the room for 10 mins. We were behind schedule, and her answer was to shut down the open bar & photo booth causing us to lose time and money.I had to find her to let her know we wanted to do the toasts. When the toasts were announced, she failed to inform the staff to pour the champagne and inquired if we wanted to toast without it?!?! Despite the timeline, she permitted the cigar roller to leave prior to his contracted time. Overall, I don't think the minimal effort or work she did for my wedding was worth the money I paid to her
