Hire Events with Panache!
Jennifer and the Events with Panache team exceeded my expectations. On the morning of my big day before the team arrived, I actually said "I wish Jennifer was here, she just makes me feel better," and if that doesn't say it all I don't know what does! She was great at coordinating with my vendors, bringing items to my attention that I hadn't thought of, pivoting and reworking plans if any issues came up, and she did it all with a warm and compassionate demeanor. -

Jennifer handled some emotionally difficult issues for us.
We were out of state so planning this wedding was difficult to maneuver. Jennifer’s expertise was apparent during our zoom call when she was able to inform us on many important issues we were not aware of. A week before the wedding we had a very difficult situation that we were unable to handle on our own emotionally and professionally, and we were afraid the wedding would not take place. We asked for her help and she took care of everything! That was something we could not put a price on. We are forever thankful. The rehearsal and reception turned out perfect. Thank you Jennifer. -

Jennifer was so kind and wonderful to work with. I used her 6 week out wedding coordinator package. We had one big conversation to do a rough draft of my timeline when I first booked with her. Then I was free to research and book all my vendors how I wanted. (She did provide some helpful recommendations). Since I live several hours away from where the wedding took place, she was able to be flexible with my schedule and do a venue walk through with us much sooner than 6 weeks out. And she was a godsend when I realized I had the sunset time wrong and we had to completely rework my timeline only 2 weeks away from the wedding. She made me feel so confident that my wedding would be a success and it absolutely was! She handled everything on the day of and I was free to have the time of my life! -

My experience with Events with Panache was excellent!
I'm so glad I found Jennifer to help me plan and coordinate my wedding day. Jennifer is very experienced and professional, and any questions I could think to ask, she had the answer to! Jennifer also went above and beyond to make my DIY flower dreams come true. I would highly recommend Events with Pinache to any bride and groom looking for an experienced wedding planner or day-of coordinator. -

Great value!
Jennifer was easy to work with and happy to help make our vision come to life. We are new parents and moved away from the area, but she helped us manage everything even with those complications without skipping a beat. Her team made everything look beautiful, she had good recommendations when we needed them, and she was communicative with our vendors. It was a great day! -

The Wedding Saint of Charlottesville
Jennifer Hamlin and her Events with Panache team are THE BEST! True saints, and we wouldn't have gotten over the wedding finish line with them. Jennifer is so supportive, calming, organized, responsive, and enthusiastic. She knows all the vendors in town, knows exactly what's needed and when, and even provided some of her own materials that we hadn't even thought of (like a bucket of sand for sparklers). She brought great ideas, provided expert guidance, and made The Big Day go so smoothly and wonderfully, I couldn't have been more pleased. She's truly extraordinary. You will be in good hands with Events with Panache. -

An All-Star Vendor and day of planner!
Jennifer from Events with Panache was an all-star during our wedding weekend. She called us and emailed as planned with excellent turnaround before the wedding and was an expert with regards to having everything ready to go at our Rehearsal and Ceremony at the UVA chapel. Without a doubt, I highly recommend her! Brides, You need her for the weekend of your event for peace of mind to know things will go smoothly! -

Wonderful wedding coordinator!
Jennifer was amazing! She was so easy to work with and seemed to know all the different vendors in town which was great since we were new to the area of Charlottesville. She gave us great advice in regards to pricing and logistics and was easy to contact whenever we had questions. On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant Madison were awesome. We never had to think about anything as she had everything handled. She worked seamlessly with the church and the rehearsal venue and made sure everything and everyone was where they needed to be. We had a great day and we know that having Jennifer there was part of the reason why! -

Jennifer is amazing, I could never hope for a more organized, helpful, communicative, sweet person to make our big day happen! Jennifer was there from the very beginning to meet with me, to text, to chat, to share pins with on Pintrest, and to answer any questions I had! Knowing that someone who is gracious, kind, and uber-organized is going to always be a step ahead during the planning and will be there on the big day to take care of all the details - meant I could breathe and enjoy being engaged and the wedding planning process. She knows the area, knows the ins and outs of all the venues, knows the best vendor for your vision and budget, and will never allow you to get to the point where you're overwhelmed. By hiring Jennifer for any event or for your wedding, you're making a friend and cheer-leader for life! -

Jennifer was such an amazing asset for our wedding. We were lucky enough to have her through the entire process and I don't know how people plan a wedding without help from someone like Jennifer! I love planning events but there is so much that Jennifer knows that you wouldn't even imagine thinking about!
Jennifer has a great relationship with the top vendors in the area and was able to get us the best value for many of the elements in our wedding that we would have never been able to get on our own.
From a people perspective, Jennifer was able to help with difficult parents, unruly guest, and my crazy stress! I was spiraling the day before the wedding with all of the last minute planning and Jennifer was able to calm me down and take control without me even really knowing she was doing it!
Even after the wedding, Jennifer has been amazing when I needed help following up with vendors! If I ever get married again, I would use Jennifer in an instant! (Let's hope that doesn't happen though...) -

Jennifer was priceless. My daughter's destination venue had a wedding coordinater (who was fabulous). But Jennifer was the extra insurance, the go-to person who made my Ry''s day effortless on our part. Because of Jennifer I never felt the need to step outside of our house Friday evening before the rehearsal or all day Saturday. I got to spent all of Saturday with my daughter, her bridesmaids, and friends without giving a second thought about how the ceremony and reception plans were going. I never stepped into the reception room until after the cocktail hour. And EVERYTHING was perfection. That is exactly how I hoped the weekend would go. And Jennifer made it happen. Small problems? Aren't there always some? Jennifer quietly explained, asked my advice, and took care of it without seeming to break a sweat (and, in hind-sight, there were some stressful moments, i.e., with the band). Jennifer stayed till the last moment, late at night, and a long drive down a mountain till she got home. I can not recommend PANACHE enough. Because of Jennifer, the weekend was perfect. Not to mention the extra care of the HokieBird! -

I don't have enough positive things to say about Jennifer Hamlin and Events with Panache! Throughout my long engagement, Jennifer was responsive and full of helpful information. She had me thinking about so many details I wouldn't have thought of otherwise that made my wedding day run so smoothly. On the day of the wedding, she had such a calming presence and I felt like she was my "cool Aunt Jen" instead of my wedding planner! She fit right in and felt like family by the end of it. I honestly do not know what I would have done without her. She was by far the best decision I made while planning my wedding and I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone getting married! -

Jennifer and her team allowed me to relax and truly enjoy my day. I felt no stress knowing they were handling all the details and any issues that might come up. I cannot imagine a better experience. Jennifer quietly managed all the details of our daughter's wedding, allowing us to relax and enjoy the event knowing that everything was being handled with perfection.

JENNIFER WAS AMAZING! When Travis & I began planning our wedding I was deployed to Afghanistan and I was in Afghanistan for the first year of the planning process. Jennifer worked with Travis to plan almost the entire wedding in my absence. Jennifer helped Travis plan a surprise for me during my 2-week leave from Afghanistan. They scheduled a meeting with florists, that resulted in me picking a wonderful florist. They also planned a cake tasting and I was able to find a baker that made an awesome cake and helped me plan a surprise groom’s cake for my husband. They scheduled make-up trials, an engagement photo session and a tasting with the caterer…all in one week! In my absence, Jennifer took care of all the details in Charlottesville and I was relatively stress free. I am incredibly OCD so everyone thought I would be a bridezilla but Jennifer assuaged all of my concerns. Her contacts with all of the vendors in Charlottesville was incredibly helpful to both the process and our budget. When I redeployed from Afghanistan and moved to Charlottesville, Jennifer came wedding dress shopping with me. She also went on various cake tastings as we tried to pick a cake flavor. She met up with me at various times for the myriad of things that came up during the process. I sent more emails than I care to count and she was always available to answer my questions or help me figure things out. My wedding turned out amazing! It was perfect, much better than I imagined. Jennifer stayed with us the entire time and until the last decoration was taken down from the venue. I never had a concern during our reception, everything flowed smoothly. She was even kind enough to mail our wedding license so we would have our certificate upon our return from our honeymoon. Jennifer has become a friend and my husband and I even had her over for dinner. Jennifer made the planning process sooo much easier and she far exceeded our expectations. -

Jennifer Hamlin did a great job helping me with my daughter's Labor Day wedding at King Family Vineyards. During the last week leading up to the wedding, Jennifer helped us so much with hotel hospitality gift bags, wedding favor gifts & really doing anything that needed to be done! Her team was instrumental in helping our guests with our planned wedding day bus transportation to the vineyard. Jennifer also helped me so much with our Boar's Head Inn Post-Wedding Breakfast on 9/5/10. I'm very thankful, Jennifer did a wonderful job. -

We hired Events with Panache as a "Day of Coordinator" for our daughter's wedding, and this was definitely the best money we could have ever spent! Jennifer Hamlin certainly went beyond "day of" services, and we could not have pulled off this event without her. She was available during any part of the planning when we needed her, and we were able to really enjoy the actual day. She and her team took care of details we had not even considered and were ever-present but not conspicuous during the entire day. The gentle, pleasant, and very competent demeanor of these ladies was greatly appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend Events with Panache! -

Jennifer and her team helped my husband to have an amazing wedding. We still pinch ourselves as we think back on that weekend. Everything was perfect. I am a very hands on person and wanted to do a lot of DIY and non-traditional things for our wedding (cake buffet, hand made napkins, donut stand!), and Jennifer was not only willing to accommodate my requests, but was enthusiastic as well! She also put us in touch with AMAZING vendors and reviewed all of our contracts and answered our million questions to help us create the wedding we envisioned. We really couldn't have done without her day of services either. We met with Jennifer two nights before the wedding to go over last minute details. From that point on, we didn't have to worry about a thing - Jennifer handled it all! If anything went wrong, we didn't have a clue. We were too busy actually enjoying ourselves and our wedding. Thank you Jennifer for making it the PERFECT wedding! We couldn't have asked for anything better! -

Jennifer and her staff made our wedding day! Her creative thoughts came to reality on the big day and we did not have any doubts that everything would turn out perfect, and it did! She followed our requests, gave numerous suggestions, and went above her duty to make our wedding day special. We will use Jennifer and her team for any future events that we have. As the mother of a very "type A" bride, Jennifer and her staff was the gift I gave myself. She handled every bump with humor and professionalism. I don't think the wedding would have been as enjoyable for me without Events with Panache. Everyone did a great job. I was able to relax and enjoy the big event and reception.
I would highly recommend Jennifer and Events with Panache for any event the host and hostess would like to actually attend and enjoy! -

I honestly have no idea what we would have done without Jennifer. We hired her for the day-of coordination, and everything went perfectly. She was constantly running around making sure everyone and everything was in place. That wedding was the best day of my life (yeah, this is coming from the groom) and Jennifer really played a huge role in making it so perfect. Believe me, its worth every penny. -

Jennifer was amazing to work with! We hired her as our '6-week out' coordinator and she was incredibly helpful and professional. She kept track of so many details and really made us feel valued and special as we planned our wedding. Our wedding day was perfect and she made it run so smoothly. We didn't have to worry about anything. She even went above and beyond by lending us some of her wedding decor and her team did the chalkboard lettering for our welcome sign and our menu. -

We hired Events with Panache for day-of coordination and worked with Sarah B, one of Jennifer's team, for our wedding. We had booked most of our vendors by the time we decided to hire a wedding planner, so we really just needed help tying everything together, finalizing some design/decor ideas, and running the show on the wedding day. Thank goodness for Sarah B! She was so excited to work with us - she picked everything up and ran with it with no problem. She was always available to answer questions via phone or email, and since she also lives in DC (we were planning a wedding outside of Charlottesville) we were able to meet easily. I had put off hiring a florist for the first several months of planning, and as soon as we began working with Sarah, she recommended one whom we LOVED. I'm not sure we would have come across her had it not been for Sarah's recommendation.
She took over about 3-4 weeks out from the wedding, reaching out to our vendors and putting together our timeline for the weekend. She thought of things that we hadn't and was willing to help however she could. On the day of, Sarah was calm and relaxed but also extremely professional and on top of things. She even dealt with a couple of awkward situations so that I didn't have to. As a bride, those qualities are so important on your wedding day! Throughout the day she was checking in to make sure everything/everyone was good, and was so helpful to us and our guests.
I highly recommend Events with Panache and Sarah B for any wedding planning needs! -

When we planned our initial wedding budget, we put day of coordinator in the “if we have the money” category, but we’re both now so thankful that we found a way to make this work! Jennifer was absolutely wonderful to work with from the very start. She was available to meet or chat on the phone whenever I requested a check in, she reviewed all of our vendor contracts before we signed them and executed our wedding flawlessly. And honestly, Jennifer really did pay for herself in the sense that the vendor recommendations and cost-cutting tips she provided exceeded the actual cost of her services. She is a steal, let me tell you!
One thing that was especially valuable to us is that Jennifer essentially took over all wedding details the week of the wedding. She confirmed details with all of our wedding vendors and as soon as we arrived to Charlottesville for the wedding, we met and handed off all my little wedding projects so that she could assemble and arrange everything...and we were DONE! Completely free to enjoy time with friends and family before the big day. If you fancy yourself a DIY bride like me, then you absolutely NEED a day of coordinator like Jennifer!
On the day of the wedding Jennifer made sure all of our plans were executed perfectly and she was always smiling and ready to answer questions or direct the wedding party. And all so calmly too, which is key because you’ll want to be around someone who can help keep you relaxed! If anything went “wrong” behind the scenes at our wedding (for example, there was a huge threat of rain during the hour of our outdoor ceremony), I didn’t hear about it until AFTER the wedding from my bridal party, which was exactly my goal in hiring Jennifer! I can’t recommend Jennifer’s day of services enough - she is the best! -

Jennifer is wonderful! She and her team made everything completely seamless for our wedding! She always had great ideas for the style and decoration of our venue, and she is a fun and upbeat person to work with. She saved us money with her referrals to different vendors and also peace of mind when it came to the set up of our wedding. What a talented person and such an organized team! -

Jennifer and Events with Panache were amazing!! They made sure our wedding went off without a hitch :) Jennifer was wonderful to work with. She kept things fun and professional. Jennifer provided us with day of wedding planning support. During the planning phase she made some great suggestions regarding vendors and was fairly responsive when we were making decisions and had questions. One suggestion she made saved us at least $1000 (transportation). When it came to the big day she and her staff were great. They ensured the guests and all the vendors were taken care off, and that the event ran smoothly through the night. My wife and were grateful to have her there so we didn't have to worry about anything! -
