  Tiffie was recommended by a mutual friend and we started working together about a year before the wedding. We decided early on that it was worthwhile to have a coordinator and partial planner for our wedding, as my then-fiance and I were living in another state, had a large guest list in mind (targeted ~250 guests), and were juggling other life transitions.
  
  PLANNING:
  Tiffie brought great vendor recommendations that fit our style and provided a much-needed "second set of eyes" as we reviewed vendor contracts and other details. As a former consultant I didn't expect to need a lot of help staying organized, but found that it's helpful to have someone more experienced, rational, and "outside" the sometimes tricky dynamics of the wedding party (i.e. NOT bridesmaids, spouse-to-be, or family!) to discuss the schedule and to-do list, seek affirmation from when planning feels slow, or think of new fun décor details.
  
  DAY-OF COORDINATION:
  Tiffie brought two (?) assistants to help with the day-of coordination. We felt completely confident knowing all the little details we discussed ahead of time would be looked after and executed, without the wedding party or our families having to worry. With so many vendors, two venues (for ceremony and reception), and other moving pieces, there are always little things that don't quite go according to plan (for example, we told the venue we wanted wine service; they ended up just placing bottles of wine on the table)...but having Tiffie and her team look out for the things that were most important to us made sure that the schedule ran smoothly and nobody noticed the minor deviations. Several guests and even our own wedding party noted that it was the SMOOTHEST wedding they had ever attended in that the schedule flow, set-up, etc. were carefully thought through in advance. We spent a lot of time thinking through the "guest experience" with Tiffie and it paid off!

  Tiffie was a tremendous help to us all throughout the planning process and the day of - super responsive, always available, and insightful when you have various questions. The wedding day was seamless and everything transitioned nicely with Tiffie's help, highly recommend her services!

  Tiffie was wonderful to work with. We hired her as our day-of coordinator but she did so much more than we had expected. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt right above everything to do with our wedding. She was available for questions and updates via text / phone call and always had a positive and joyful attitude when speaking to us. On the day of our wedding, she made sure everything went seamlessly and everything was so perfect. I would recommend Tiffie to all my friends and family looking for a wedding coordinator.

For the months leading up to the wedding, Tiffie provided great tips and she was really responsive to any questions we had. On the day of the wedding, she made sure that everything went smoothly and took care of the little bumps that came up along the way. People had commented on how calm I was for a bride, and a big part of that was because I knew that Tiffie had things under control.   My husband and I are so happy we used Events by Tiffie to be our day-of wedding planner! Upon hiring her several months before the wedding, she ran down her checklist to see what was completed and what was still left. We immediately could tell how organized, professional, detail-oriented, and most importantly, how "us-focused" she was. It was important to my husband and I (who are designers by trade) to make sure every little detail of our vision was included, and perfect. We've heard many warnings from other married couples that "the big day never goes 100% perfectly", so when I realized that I did overlook some details on the day of, I was so thankful to have a smart, quick on their feet team, to come up with solutions on the fly and follow through with poise and ease. I remember on the morning of my wedding, I had forgotten to pay the hair stylist for my mother in law's hair appointment. They required I physically be at the salon which was impossible for me. Tiffie happily drove to the salon without asking any questions and did it for me. It’s these big and little details that can make a wedding enjoyable or unpleasant, but Tiffie had every little thing under control which really allowed me to relax and focus on getting hitched!
  It's been about 6 months since our wedding, and we still hear how beautiful our wedding was and how smooth the whole day went. Our vendors have also mentioned how they absolutely loved working with her and her team, and how easy the process was for them. Tiffie even packed us up a to go box with food, gathered all my belongings, and made sure we were all out of the venue perfectly on time to avoid additional costs.
  We are so so glad she was our coordinator. If we were to do it all over again we would hire her in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for making our wedding day the best it could be!! Yay for Events by Tiffie!!

  Working with Tiffie on my wedding was one of the best decisions my husband and I made while deciding on a coordinator for our special day!! We held our wedding in San Francisco early this year and though I had a lot of unknowns in the beginning, Tiffie was always available to provide feedback or suggestions. Not only is she a dear friend, but she is also a pro at what she does in the wedding industry. Knowledgeable about various vendors here in the Bay Area, Tiffie was able to suggest vendors for consideration which really helped us narrow down to the ones we eventually choose. Tiffie effectively communicates what she needed from us before the wedding and what she would do for us on our wedding day. Also she worked with our vendors nearing our wedding day to make sure every one was on the same page. She brings along an assistant who is just as professional as she is. With the both of them together, I knew that I would have no worries on my wedding day. My husband and I really enjoyed every moment of our wedding and we knew that it was so because Tiffie had everything under control!

  My husband and I were married three years ago. Having Tiffie as our wedding planner was a life-saver in so many ways. We had a rustic DIY wedding in an outdoor, historical garden in Monterey, California. Tiffie transformed the garden into a truly magical place. She and her team laid out all our wedding decorations, set the tables, and worked extremely well with our musicians, ushers, caterer and more! One of our favorite moments was sitting at our sweetheart table, looking out at the light-lined trees, and beautifully set tables as the jazz trio played.
  
  I was amazed at how well Tiffie dealt with the unexpected, in such a calm, professional way that put me at ease. (The unexpected is bound to happen at any wedding! The key is making sure nobody knows, and Tiffie was so good at that.) I had forgotten to give her a big box of plates, cups, utensils, and napkins that were intended to be laid out for our cocktail hour. At the last minute, she made sure that all of those were bought and accounted for. During a bridesmaid speech, a guest fainted - and she and her partner Dennis were so quick at calling 911. But she was a quick thinker and also made sure that the wedding party continued with as little distress as possible. As a result of this mishap, we had to cut out a lot of the planned wedding activities and extend the rental of the wedding venue to make sure that the guest was okay, but everything still turned out perfectly. All the while, Tiffie remained calm and continually reassured me that everything was okay. The lasting memory of our wedding was of how perfect it was. Tiffie and her team were vital in making it that way. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
