The Best Decision We Made!
Marguerite has an incredible ability to take your vision and bring it to life. With multiple locations, tight timelines, and moving parts in every direction, she kept everything seamlessly under control — all while gracefully navigating the added challenge of rain.
She monitored the weather, adjusted start times, and coordinated the movement of nearly 200 guests from one location to another with absolute precision. Her finesse with our two ring bearers (both under two!) was nothing short of amazing; she engaged them so naturally and made them feel at ease.
Marguerite had a pulse on every detail — guests, vendors, transportation, setup, takedown, and everything in between. There was never a moment where we questioned whether something would be taken care of. Through months of planning, she got to know us so well — our style, our priorities, and what we hoped the weekend would feel like.
By the end, she wasn’t just our planner; she became a friend. We plan to meet up with her when we’re back in town! If you want someone who will show up for you with heart, expertise, and dedication, Marguerite is the one. -

I cannot tell you how fortunate we were to plan and work with Marguerite. Our daughter researched and found her, and what a blessing that was! We live 1200+ miles from our daughter in Denver and the beautiful wedding site she picked at Ten Peaks in Crested Butte, CO. So, needless to say, we were a bit nervous about this occasion. We soon realized our new mantra was “Let go, and let Marguerite”! This woman was amazing. The Pentagon Logistics Department could learn a thing or two from her! Marguerite had no problem being an advocate for us in dealing with any vendor. She was on our side, which was so refreshing. She was able to successfully and diplomatically manage a venue, catering, florist, baker, music, transportation, hair, make-up, parties, wedding party, wedding guests, and the actual wedding! Not to mention dealing with a bride to be, and a MOB who had never even seen the venue! It was all so perfectly timed and executed.
If you’ve not seen it on one of her sites, take a look at the final event….it was truly magical!
But, be sure to remember all that it took from this talented woman to achieve that end result.

The best mountain wedding planner out there!!
If you are looking to plan the mountain wedding (or anywhere wedding) of your dreams…look no further! Marguerite is truly an expert and professional in this business, and it shows from the first time you meet her. She provided so much information on venues and vendors, which helped us to curate a truly A+ rockstar list of vendors, who all helped bring our dream wedding to life.
Marguerite is so creative and makes amazing suggestions, she has a can do attitude, she will always get you what you need before you know you need it, and partnered on us with every aspect of our wedding. Also, most importantly, her execution was flawless. When we saw everything set up we were absolutely floored over how gorgeous it looked. She kept everything on time and did it all with grace. She has a calm and soothing demeanor, which helped me to stay calm and confident that all was taken care of. Our wedding day (and weekend) could not have gone more smoothly and we are beyond grateful for her partnership and expertise throughout this whole process. She is truly amazing at what she does!

The best wedding planner!
I cannot recommend Marguerite enough!! We live on the east coast, and we planned our wedding in Vail from out of town. It would not have been possible without Marguerite. From the minute I spoke to her on the phone, I knew she was the perfect fit for us. She kept us organized and listened to our vision while also keeping us on budget. She was always easily accessible, and I never felt like I had to chase her down to get a response. In fact, it was probably the opposite, she had to chase us down! She also has amazing vendor contacts in the area, which really saved me time on deciding which one was the right fit for us.
On the wedding day, she perfectly executed our vision. She coordinated all the vendors, and created a comprehensive timeline. Most importantly, she made sure that everyone stuck to the timeline! I wasn’t stressed at all because I knew how organized and on top of everything she was. It allowed me to truly be present and enjoy the whole day with my husband. Marguerite’s pricing is very reasonable, and I truly feel she went above and beyond what was promised in our contract. My husband and I both agreed that our only regret is not having her plan our entire weekend! -

5 stars is not enough. Marguerite exceeded every single expectation we had for our wedding weekend. Her attention to detail is unparalleled and she had the most creative ideas to help elevate our celebration. She has access to incredible vendors and their collaboration was seamless. Marguerite left NO stone unturned and our planning process was truly stress free because of her.
Marguerite was so attentive to our needs before and during the weekend of the wedding, emotionally and logistically.
If you are planning a wedding in Vail and not working with Marguerite, you're doing it all wrong. We wish we had another event to plan JUST to work with her.

Events by Marguerite
We worked with Marguerite in planning our daughter’s wedding. What can I say? Marguerite “has it all” from planning to design to detail to execution. She helped us with colors, flowers, table settings, and so much more. She also helped us identify vendors (photography, musicians, florists, etc.) There were no details missed and the event came off flawlessly. She gave our daughter and her then fiancé and us as parents so much peace of mind! I would without question strongly recommend her! -

Marguerite is exceptional at what she does
Marguerite is exceptional at what she does...and an even better human being. Our wedding took place at Springs Creek Ranch in Carbondale, CO - not the easiest place for a wedding. Living out of State, we could never have done it without her. From the day we met her and shared our vision, she made us feel at ease. Her organization and communication throughout every step was flawless. She kept us on track and we were able to just follow her lead. Our wedding day was executed flawlessly. She has a great way of communicating with vendors and others to ensure even the little things go just right. She takes time to listen to what your vision is and then helps you execute it. I can't say enough about her, she just knocked it out of the park! She is sooo worth it. My wife and I will be forever grateful for the amazing memories of our special day. -

Marguerite is THE BEST!! She's an incredible resource that we could not recommend more highly for whatever your wedding needs are. We worked with her for our wedding in Vail, Colorado and were so glad we did. Marguerite is an expert in the Valley with tons of local knowledge and vendor contacts that were super helpful in putting our day together. She's also very organized!
Marguerite was able to help us bring the vision for our wedding to life. We had lots of ideas and things we liked but she was able to pull everything together into a cohesive design and help us find the right vendors to make it happen. Most impressed bride
Marguerite was absolutely amazing. She was available whenever I wanted to bounce ideas--via text, zoom, phone, or email. But Marguerite also impressed me by her ability to handle all the things I didn't want to! Marguerite is great at being whatever kind of planner you need for your personality--even if that changes from week to week.
Marguerite found every perfect vendor for our day. And she was willing to take on every planning logistic to make our day perfect. When our venue told us they couldn't flip a room between ceremony and reception, Marguerite changed their mind (and pulled it off seamlessly). When I designed my table scape, Marguerite engaged THREE different vendors to make sure I wasn't overpaying for things. Our photographers privately told us that Marguerite was the best and most organized planner they'd ever worked with. Marguerite was just absolutely amazing at every step. I would hire her again 100 times out of 100. -

Incredible wedding planning
There aren’t enough words to describe the level of service that Marguerite Events provides. I took a lot of time researching a wedding a planner and Marguerite was recommended and highly spoken of by all vendors in the Vail community. Since she had such amazing reviews from well respected people in Vail, we had one 20 minute intro conversation and we hired her by the end of the week without even meeting her. Best decision/money we’ve spent.
If you’re considering a planner, consider no more. This is a MUST. I adjusted my flower budget to pay for her and I would recommend it to anyone who is considering. The way I thought of it, is the insurance to ensure your weekend goes smoothly, and boy did she prove that theory right!
To say that she made our entire wedding would be an understatement. Marguerite invested her time and energy to Pace and my entire wedding planning experience. From the week we hired her she took over all emails and planning and made things less overwhelming by helping us prioritize what needed to happen today versus the end of the month. She is worth all the money in the world but her pricing was reasonable and fair.
When COVID effected our original date and we decided to post pone, Marguerite was honest and kind and helped us navigate a truly sad decision to post pone. She took on double the weddings for 2021 because of covid but i can tell you, we felt like her only couple. She is a planner, logistical genius, therpaist (lol), family drama navigator and now lifelong friend.

Stop looking and hire her now
Where do I even begin. I found Marguerite through the Ritz vendor list. I was hunting for a day of event coordinator but boy did we get so much more. From the moment we spoke I could tell how organized and detailed she was. I didn’t even know what I was signing her up for. She had a spreadsheet and checklist for everything.
I am super type A and she checked every box I was looking for and more. From her thorough and detailed timeline to vendor communication she was thoughtful and communicative. There wasn’t a moment I couldn’t pick up my phone and shoot her a text with an almost immediate response (which is asking for too much as is).
I can truly say there wasn’t a single detail that she overlooked. Even more my family has very high standards and they were so thrilled with everything she executed. She helped with more than the day of the wedding and even extended a helping hand in rehearsal dinner recommendations and follow through of the brunch the next morning.
I don’t know many people who can say their wedding weekend went off without a flaw but she made it happen. Thank you Marguerite for your hard work- you better bet I will recommend you to every friend getting married in the future. Can’t wait to see what more you in have in store.
We couldn’t recommend her enough- so just do the damn thing! -

Marguerite helped to make our dream wedding at the Breckenridge Nordic Center possible! From our first meeting, Marguerite worked to understand our vision and help us in planning and booking excellent vendors in Summit County. She coordinated with our vendors to ensure prompt set up and made sure that we had everything that we would need. She was available to answer any questions that we may have had. On the wedding day, Marguerite and her assistant (Barrett) were professional, kind, and supportive. Most importantly, they helped us stay on schedule and made sure that we had time together to eat, celebrate, and enjoy the day. Because of them, we were also able to maximize our time with our guests and enjoy our time on the dance floor. We truly had the best day of our lives, and are so grateful for Events by Marguerite for making that possible!!!!! We would highly recommend using Marguerite as your wedding planner! -

Fantastic communication, planning and execution!
My wife and I got married at Piney River Ranch, which can be a really difficult place to execute a flawless wedding. With no cell service and a long bumpy mountain road, if anything is overlooked or forgotten, it's not going to be fixed. With that in mind, Marguerite and her team were on top of everything. Nothing was lost or forgotten. Everything was as we had hoped!
Marguerite is the perfect combination of organized, assertive, available, and responsive! We got engaged over 18 months before our wedding, and immediately started working with Marguerite. She helped us create a timeline on when to make certain decisions. This information was so helpful because each market is so different. She knew when to book certain vendors before they were booked up, and gave great recommendations on where to look!
As our wedding date approached, she made sure to give us as much time as we needed, helping to ease the stress of wedding planning! She found us vendors for rentals, sending us quotes and saving us tons of time and review reading. She created organized documents that brought all of our information together in one place. Marguerite is extremely responsive, making sure we never went long before getting our hundreds of questions answered. She loves to chat over email, text, and phone calls, whichever is best for her clients!
The weekend of the wedding, she came to pick up a lot of our things for the wedding, running through a checklist to make sure we had everything we needed.
The day of the wedding was so relaxing. Yes, I mean that! My wife and I were 100% calm because we knew Marguerite and her team had everything covered. She made sure to understand our style and wishes, and everything they set up with the florist looked AMAZING! She herded guests, kept venders on schedule, and made sure all of our requests were taken care of. We have been to a fair amount of weddings, and I don't think we have ever seen such organization, calmness, and execution from a team of vendors. Our friends and family also commented on the same thing! Marguerite is a great leader on the day of your wedding, and a joy to be around! Please consider any or all of her services, because the end result was everything we hoped for! -

Planning a wedding can be stressful, and time-consuming. Then on top of the normal stressors, COVID-19 hit about 5 months before our September 12th wedding. To have Marguerite as our planner during the entire process was the reason we were able to pull off the most perfect and safe wedding we always dreamed of having from day one! The only thing that changed was our guest count. Marguerite is brilliant, responsive, and her attention to detail is flawless. Words cannot describe how grateful my family and I were to have her every single step of the way. She was the backbone of our big day, and I cannot recommend her enough! -

Best Wedding Planner/Human Ever!
Words cannot express my gratitude for Marguerite. She did the most amazing job planning our dream 100+ person wedding in Colorado, canceling that wedding once COVID made it impossible/unsafe, and then planning a second micro-wedding in Arizona! While we were devastated COVID canceled the plans for our big day, Marguerite helped us to plan an intimate wedding in Arizona for just our families on our original date. We started from scratch, and in under a month she created the most magical backyard wedding. It turned out absolutely beautiful (even better than our original one!), and we could not be more happy with our special day!
She is thoughtful in her planning, attentive to every detail, and an absolute a joy to be around!! She is also someone who knows how to handle any crisis. I genuinely don’t know what we would have done without her. We are so grateful to have had Marguerite as our wedding planner, and highly recommend her to all!! -

There is no way I can put into words how incredible Marguerite and her team were. They were in constant communication, response time was immediate, any issues were solved instantly and the wedding went off without a single problem due to her hard work and strategy for this wedding. My daughter was suppose to be married in Colorado with 125 guests in attendance. Thanks to Covid-19, that was cancelled. It was not an option for them to move the wedding a year out as she was to begin her residency and would not have the time. Marguerite had already done everything for the Colorado wedding and we told her we had to change to Arizona. From 125 guests to just 15! She said no problem and was off and running with a new plan. She handled the florist, the arch, the chairs, the caterers, the music and coordinated all small things so that my daughter and our family could just concentrate on the day. Her price was incredibly reasonable, especially considering the time she put in, and I was happy to pay her. If you have any concerns or worries about your wedding or large event, I can't recommend her enough. I can't wait to have a reason to use her again!! Our family is very grateful for all she and her team did to make our special day flawless. -

What an excellent experience! Working with Marguerite was a joy and although she was handling many other events/ weddings, we always felt we were her only client. Her warm efficient manner was very steadying and the results for the wedding were fantastic! All of her vendors were perfect for what we wanted. Her professional skills were clear working with the caterer, vendors and knowing the best way to incorporate the overall vibe the wedding couple wanted! I would not hesitate to recommend her! Marguerite is SO FREAKING FANTASTIC. I wasn't sure that I wanted a "wedding planner" from the get-go of planning our wedding because I'm fairly good at planning things myself but as I was going through the process, it became clear to me that having a day-of coordinator would be very stress relieving for me. Marguerite was recommended to me by two other planners (a great sign!) and I am SO GLAD that she was. Her "day-of-coordinating" is really "month-of coordinating" and she helped troubleshoot and anticipate problems well in advance of our wedding. We had our wedding at my husband's family's ranch so we really benefited from having an expert anticipate the things that we needed/didn't need since this was the first wedding done on the ranch. She also saved us lots of money with the rentals because she helped identify the things that we wouldn't actually need. She coordinated well with all of our other vendors, interacted with our guests, and generally had a very relaxed energy that helped make our day special. I felt like I could completely relax on the day of our wedding because I knew that Marguerite could/would (and did) handle whatever things might come up. If you are thinking that you might like to have a wedding coordinator, JUST BOOK MARGUERITE ALREADY. -

Marguerite was fantastic, professional and the attention to detail was by far amazing! Marguerite was available for ever call, question and texts! Marguerite came over to help me with my dress, hair dresser, flowers that arrived, photographer, driver & officiant was in place and ready. I would 100% recommend her! Marguerite made our wedding go on without a flaw. -

Marguerite was a complete dream to work with! We live in Houston and were getting married in Vail/Beaver Creek at The Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch. Planning any wedding has its challenges, but add distance to the mix, and you're just asking for complications. Not in our case! Marguerite promptly answered all of our questions, understood our visions, and made us feel heard. She helped us from the big picture all the way down to the details of creating table numbers, menus and a sign/frame for our favors. We had blankets to be placed on chairs for the outside ceremony in case our guests were cold, and she did a beautiful job of this (thank goodness as it snowed during our ceremony). She also added some very sweet and incredibly personal touches that truly went above and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed working with her, and we are certain any couple who does the same will have their expectations exceeded. -

Saved our Wedding! Highly Recommend!
Marguerite took over our event roughly 8 weeks before our wedding. We were previously working with a different coordinator who was not providing timely or reliable service. Marguerite instantly righted the ship.
We live in Houston, TX: She made all the small details seamlessly flow from 3 states away. Marguerite made our wedding day her personal mission and it showed throughout. I was waiting for some kind of hiccup on our wedding day. We had not a single issue arise. Marguerite's hard work and contributions to our wedding day has made her a friend for life. If you are planning a wedding in the Valley, please make Marguerite your top choice. -

My son got married in Vail/Piney River Ranch toward the beginning of the pandemic when rules and venue capacity numbers were changing daily, and I don't know how we would have done it without her. She handled it with grace and I really felt like she had our back! I especially appreciated when she suggested we move our rehearsal dinner to a different venue because the one we had originally chosen was not responding to the changes the way we needed. I trusted her and I was happy I did - and the new venue ended up being better!) Marguerite was everything you would want from a wedding planner (organized and inspired, while staying relaxed) but a couple of her qualities really stood out: 1) She understood the stress involved in the process and listened when I needed her to; and 2) She was very respectful of our budget. She had an opinion on where to spend an where to save - and reassured me that the places we spent less wouldn't matter in the end. And they didn't! Most importantly, I had a good time at the wedding, because she was in charge and I knew we were in good hands!
