We are still speechless almost a month after our wedding day and not a week goes by where we aren't having multiple conversations with family and friends about how incredible Kate is/was. To say we built a genuine connection is an understatement, but to feel so valued, heard and seen as a bride made our whole wedding planning experience a dream! Kate is professional, organized and thoughtful. She is incredibly talented, so kind and will fight for what you want/deserve as the bride and groom. To this day, we aren't sure if anything went "wrong" because our day was literal perfection and went exactly according to plan. She was able to think on the fly and come up with alternatives that would fit within budget, and for that, we are eternally grateful. We wish we could plan our wedding all over again, just to have the opportunity to work with Kate again. She made our dreams come true and made the journey along the way incredibly special. It was our best decision hiring her and we would do it a million times over. We love you Kate!!! There are not enough "thank yous" in the world that would do our gratitude justice. -

We are A Rose is a Rose florist in Cooperstown NY and had the pleasure of working with Kate and her husband this past weekend. Upon first meet, Kate was friendly and helpful and clearly very attentive to her bride's needs. It felt like we had worked together forever. She was always available to answer a quick question and did not ever try to micro manage us. The bride was very relaxed and happy as she knew her vendors had it under control. We hope we get to work with Kate again someday. (she's a far distance from us). She is a gem! If you're getting married, she's your girl! Thank you, Kate, XOXO -

Kate is amazing.
KATE IS AMAZING. I whole heartedly believe I could NOT have gotten through my wedding without her. From the moment I emailed her I knew she would be the absolute best investment I could’ve ever spent on my wedding. Worth. Every. Penny. She checked in on everything the month leading up to the big day. With prompt response time, she was on top of it all.. any problems, details, speaking with vendors, and everything in between. If there was an issue, I didn’t even know because she seamlessly handled everything with grace. She built my entire schedule and itinerary. It was so detailed and easy to follow. She even sent a copy to every single vendor to make sure everyone was in the loop. When the day came she was there from morning to night by my side. She kept me calm, cool and collected, hydrated, made sure I ate, re-applied my lipgloss, fixed my hair and kept everything on schedule. She is not only an amazing event planner but a genuine and great friend. Mentally, physically and emotionally she supported me and kept me together through the process. What I expected to be an extremely stressful day actually ended up being pure bliss. This is all thanks to Kate and her planning/control! Like I said, I could not imagine getting through the day (and even month before) without her. Any future events I know she’ll be my number one go to. I cannot recommend her enough!🤍 -

We had a wonderful time working with Kate as our wedding planner. We selected her partial wedding planning package; with this service, we worked together as a team during the whole planning process (which lasted one year for us). I enjoyed having a more hands-on role in the planning, but of course had no real idea what I was doing, so Kate’s support and guidance were very much appreciated and needed! She was also a huge help in negotiating with vendors; my husband commented that she “paid for herself” early in the planning process by helping us negotiate with the caterer we loved to find a solution within our budget. From our first conversation, she was consistently respectful of our budget, which I really appreciated as other planners I interviewed made clear that they thought we should spend more than we wanted to spend. Leading up to the wedding day, Kate was essential in preparing when there was a hurricane threatening in the Atlantic—we were able to reserve a last minute rain tent through her contacts, and I was so grateful to have her support during that stressful period! The wedding day itself went off without a hitch, and we had an absolutely amazing day. Thank you so much for everything, Kate!! —Emily & Zach -

I would not have been able to have my wedding without Kate. She was so amazing, helpful, professional and eased all of my worries! Trust me you need a planner!!! You won't have to worry about a thing the day of and I definitely fully trusted Kate. Every time I texted Kate while planning she answered right away which I really appreciated because of how stressful planning can be. I highly recommend working with her!! -

The best investment for your wedding I am soooo happy I chose Kate as my planner- she is super sweet and attentive when it comes to communication. She is extremely thorough and you can ALWAYS text her with questions which was a huge plus!!!! She coordinated our wedding day so perfectly- it really couldn’t have gone any better. I’m super lucky to have had her there with us and just gave our bridal party such ease. Not to mention she brings an emergency kit with alll the goodies if you need!!! Book with her she’s amazing and you won’t regret it !!!!! -

Kate is an absolutely fantastic wedding planner. We began talks with Kate discussing a traditional wedding on Long Island. We quickly pivoted to have 2 weddings (a small destination wedding in Tulum and a cocktail wedding party in NYC) just one week apart from each other. Kate did not skip a beat and seamlessly helped us switch to our new plan. She spent countless hours with us texting, talking on the phone and meeting on Zoom at all hours and days of the week. She worked tirelessly on our behalf. We became so close with Kate and she really got a feel for what our tastes are and what we were looking for in our ideal wedding. Kate most certainly delivered for us. She held vendor calls on our behalf talking to venues, DJs, caterers, florists, etc. She held our hand every step of the way from the start through the finish. From calming words when we were freaking out, to helping us stick to budget/plan to traveling with us for the weekend of the celebration and making sure everything was executed according to plan, Kate was there for us. And she did all of this for BOTH of our weddings with just a week in between. Kate did a wonderful job and we appreciated her help so much and could have never pulled off our events without her. And even better, Kate became a friend which just shows how great she is and how closely we worked together in the year leading up to our events. We highly, highly recommend Kate to all couples. -

Kate was the greatest thing to happen to our entire wedding! Kate was brought on a little later into our wedding planning process and our venue had their own planning services we were using. However, Kate came highly recommended and we decided to work with her to help with coordination etc. she was the best part of our entire wedding. I can’t speak enough about her and how incredible she is. She busted her butt not only before the wedding to help make sure all loose ends were tied up and we thought of everything necessary. But, she made the entire wedding come to life the day of. Our venue dropped the ball on many items and Kate was there just picking up the pieces and making magic happen all night long behind the scenes. She was there for both of us all night long while leading the entire night. She was incredible. A true leader, top of the line service with her planning and vision of the wedding through her day-of coordination.
Details I never even thought of were discussed because of Kate. And certain decisions and details the day of the wedding were made by Kate to perfection. There were so many things that she just handled from where flowers were going when the bridesmaids got to the venue to ripped dresses that Kate just handled. She kept us on time with every second of the wedding so the entire day ran smoothly. I was beyond impressed. You can tell she loves what she does and will be an asset for any event you could possibly need planning for! If you want an event that people will talk about for years and tell you was the best event they’ve ever been to, hire Events by Kate. It’s worth it 100% and you’ll never regret the decision. -

Being totally honest, kate was probably the best money we spent for the wedding. We went back and forth a little bit with hiring a DOC, just because we weren’t sure what duties were covered and with our budget. But it was beyond worth it hiring not just a DOC, but kate. She went above and beyond making sure everything went so smooth on the day of. From the moment we booked Kate, she reached out often even though she was hired for just DOC, she checks in with her clients and has phone calls to get information about your big day! Prior to the wedding day she reached out to all our venders to confirm everything for us. We even had an MIA videographer that wasn’t responding the whole week of the wedding, and she was amazing with helping us call them a million times to finally get a response. She made us the most beautiful and detailed day of timeline, which was super helpful. The day of she was just beyond amazing, i cant even list all the things she did to help us, anything and everything you can think of that you would need help with on your wedding day, she did. She also is just such a pleasure to be around, such a kind soul. Just having her there reduced SO much stress leading up to the wedding day and on the wedding day, just knowing she was there to help handle anything really made a difference. You can tell how much she truly cares about the couples that hire her. If you are going back and forth with hiring a DOC, hire Kate. She will go beyond your expectations. -

If you don’t have a Day of Coordinator, I URGE you to choose Kate. I had no idea what a DOC was until about a month before my wedding. My now husband and I planned every aspect of our wedding together, but the one thing we didn’t know how to do was move through the wedding day itself, this is where Kate stepped in. Kate helped to make our day run very smooth, she was always available for us even before the wedding. I could call, text or email her with any questions at pretty much anytime and she would always get back to me promptly. The day of she moved us through better than the venue in my opinion, I have so many positive things to say about Kate, all of which wouldn’t fit in this review, but bottom line she’s an amazing person who genuinely cares about the bridal and wedding experience. Do yourself a favor and hire her, you will not be disappointed!
