    My experience was wonderful.

    Grace was the best coordinator I could have asked for! She is very detail oriented, professional, and organized. Thanks to Grace and her assistant, our wedding reception ran smooth with no issues. Her pricing is reasonable for the services she provided. I highly recommend Grace for coordinating events in the Inland Empire.

    A Joy to Work With

    Grace helped us organize my daughter and son-in-law's wedding twice! She was super easy to work with. She allowed us to enjoy the festivities in full confidence that everything was going smoothly. Our first date was April of 2020. There was so much stress around what to do. Grace helped us make the decision to post-pone and two years later she stepped right back in and got the original vendors (for the most part) back onboard. Everything was top notch! So worth it!!

    Highly recommend this organized and kind coordinator!

    Working with Grace helped my wedding planning go by so smoothly! I was a COVID bride and unfortunately had to reschedule my wedding. She was so flexible, kind, and supportive throughout the whole process. Grace listened to what I was thinking and gave me her thoughts whenever I asked. She had an exciting life change that prevented her from attending my wedding but she was actively involved the whole time and even found a great replacement that was on board with our vision.
    I highly recommend Events by Grace Avenue to coordinate your wedding! Her prices are great and she is so easy to work with. She made herself available for all of our questions about the ceremony, reception, and even dessert options! :)

    Beyond Phenomenal

    Grace ensured my special day went smoothly. Leading up to the big day, we chatted on the phone, she met me at our venue to do a walk through and she held a rehearsal with our wedding party a couple of days prior. She had everything set up exactly how I envisioned it. There was a little issue behind the scenes at one point and I had no idea until it was all over! Professional doesn’t even begin to describe the service that I was provided. I would recommend Grace and her team to anyone and everyone. Thank you Grace!

    The best coordinator out there!

    We just got married on 11/23/19 and let me tell you a little about my coordinator BFF Grace. After interviewing a few day of coordinators, I knew Grace was the one. She's quick and you can tell that she is always thinking a million thoughts at a time while organizing all her ideas on paper. When we would meet she always came prepared and always left me homework to do. I am a very organized person and thought I could handle it all, but I was transitioning from my old job to my current new one and I needed someone I could trust to make sure my dream wedding become a reality. Grace was my person, she stepped up to the plate and handled my week of details. She contacted all my vendors and gave them the details and what was expected of them the day off. She collected all my contracts and understood them fully. She even saved my life a few times when I failed to contact a serving staff. She got quotes for me and helped me pick the right team. On Thursday, the Saturday before the wedding, we had took on the daunting task of creating a seating chart with 200 names. My husband and I were exhausted after grouping them all and I could not get myself to format, print, and frame the chart. I text Grace and she told me not worry about it, that she would take it from here and get it all done. She most definitely did! Now lets talk about my rehearsal, I was an hour late because of traffic and instead of wasting time, Grace got my wedding party fed and then got them all to help with the reception set up. Our bridal party consisted of 26 individuals and Grace kept them all organized. Grace definitely went above and beyond. Now when engaged couples ask me what is the one piece of advice I could give them, it's definitely get yourself a Grace! Grace coordinated my wedding day and gave me the freedom to enjoy the most special day of my life. Her and my other BFF (Mom) orchestrated the event of a life time! Between the both of them I knew my wedding dreams were in perfect hands. Grace was so sweet to her and they both held it down for me. If you are looking for a coordinator/planner/BFF, look no further! Grace is the real deal:)

    August 2021 Wedding

    Absolutely love Grace! This is a much overdue review as a lot has happened since we got married! But they deserve 5 stars! Grace was with us through all the steps and came to all the meetings with the venue (while she was pregnant!) and made sure the event went exactly how we planned/wanted. I was also pregnant by the time our wedding came and oh boy, Grace and her team took great care of us. Made sure I was fed and had my non-alcoholic beverage ready to drink! She stuck to our timeline and we felt at ease throughout the whole night that everything would go as planned.

    Our wedding fairy - she's amazing!

    When we got engaged, we thought we would try our hand at planning our big day all by ourselves. We quickly found ourselves having a hard time balancing wedding planning with our daily lives. We had a few months left before our wedding day and weren't sure if it was too late to find a day of coordinator for the big day. We had been in contact with a few other day of coordinators, but when we met with Grace we immediately knew we had to book her. If I could turn back time, we would have reached out earlier for not only day of coordination but also wedding planning.

    Grace and her team are BEYOND amazing. We opted for day of coordination and she met with us several times to go over all of the details and create our timeline. Although the wedding is only one day, Grace helps you stay on track months in advance and organize the items that you've already completed or have yet to do. Grace was always available via email, text, or a call if anything came up! We had a few last minute changes and she got them all in and communicated with our vendors. She brought up so many details that we never thought of and eased all of our worries. Not only that, she took the time to learn about our culture since we were incorporating some Vietnamese traditions in our wedding.

    When our wedding day came around, we were completely stress free. It was the most magical day for us and we truly believe Grace was our amazing wedding fairy. Shout out to Grace and Miguel!

    Casino San Clemente

    Grace and her team are AMAZING! From our first meeting until the very end she exceeded my expectations! She sends you a Google drive to help keep everything in order; to the timeline, seating arrangements, details, etc. It helped keep me, a bride who did a million things at once, stay calm cool and collected. Rain was in the forecast for our wedding, and Grace’s team were prepared for it all. Luckily it only started drizzling at the end of cocktail hour! I recommend Events by Grace Avenue for any and all your wedding needs!

    Mission Inn Wedding

    Grace is truly amazing. I hired her for the 30day coordinating for my wedding. She was such big help, she kept up with my vendors . She helped my relax during the stressful last days before the wedding.
    She did an amazing job coordinating all my vendors the day off my wedding. Truly an angel.

    Great attention to detail and so organized!

    Grace and her team were amazing! I sought out Grace because I was looking for a bilingual coordinator for my wedding that could communicate in Spanish with my family and understand cultural components of my Mexican wedding. I really appreciated her attention to detail, she even made an infographic of the day of timeline, she set everything up beautifully and kept everything so organized. On the day of the wedding she was in contact with all the vendors and diffused any situations that came about. I was able to be present and enjoy the day with my family because of all she and her team did and I am so grateful! I can't recommend Grace enough!

    Where do I even begin with Grace! The Grace Avenue team is so awesome, but Grace is AMAZING! I’m sure there were many problems day of (like the crazy wind), but did I know or even get worried? No! Grace was on top of everything. Even months before the big day, she was so much more help than I ever thought I needed. Everything I didn’t think of, she was prepared. She was constantly checking in on me and was always 3 steps ahead. She is also so creative and gives great suggestions, which you should 100% listen to. Highly recommend and will be referring her and her team to everyone I know. Couldn’t imagine my day going so well without her.

    We had a small wedding in our backyard. I booked Grace for day of coordination. After a year of planning, she helped me pull everything together and brought up important little details that I would've missed which made the day that much more special. Whenever we met up, she was flexible, and always on time. She created signs for the bar, appetizers, bathroom, and welcome table which were super cute and matched perfectly with our theme. On the day of the wedding, I was able to just let go and fully experience every little moment. She kept us right on schedule, while coordinating with all the vendors . I had no worries. She is also super nice and I highly recommend her.

    Grace was AMAZING! She made my day perfect, she was very professional and had tons of information. I had a vendor cancel on me the day of and she was able to find someone that same day. I would definitely recommend her to anyone...and to top it off she is very sweet!

    Experience was surface level

    I do want to start by saying before I came on Yelp to share my review, I sent my concerns via email directly to her for transparency and to have an open conversation. She emailed back saying "Thank you so much for taking your time to write this to us." and that she will review with her assistant. It has been almost a week and I have not had any sort of apology or response to my very lengthy email regarding my concerns. I ultimately wanted an understanding on her perspective of the wedding day, but I got nothing. Thus leading me here to write an honest review. I'm going to be very transparent in hopes to help a future bride and groom in their search.

    I booked Grace for 100 days prior and for a day of coordination. I am a planner myself and have done lots of coordinating events for my job so I understand what it takes to coordinate a wedding. I hired all my vendors, picked my ceremony location and venue location, I organized my own payment plan, I kept a detailed folder of everything related to my wedding etc. All I needed was assistance in executing the day and ensuring everything ran smoothly and assisting for any issues that came up. I hired her to ease the stress and trust that all is taken care of so I can enjoy my wedding.

    Overall, I give 2 stars because yes she did help in several ways and there were positive things she did as a coordinator that we felt was great. She helped set up the ceremony and reception, she held 1 virtual meeting and 2 in person meetings with us to get a better understanding of what she needs to do as a coordinator. The files she shared were helpful. She was there for our venue walk through and rehearsal. The very basic needs of a coordinator - she provided. However, when it came down to logistics management, communication between vendors, self initiative, attention to detail, and problem solving, we felt these traits were lacking. I also felt we could have discussed each document she had me fill out in detail to ensure it's being executed accordingly during wedding day, but we did not. I filled out the forms and that was it.

    In all honesty, we wished we would have seen her and her assistant in the reception hall a little more executing the timeline. Our photographer was fluffing my dress before each photo, our videographer and photographer tagged team to ensure we kept up with the timeline. Sadly, our family and friends constantly asked us "who are those girls just sitting at the front"

    The communication between us and the vendors could have been better. We started to notice that leading up to the wedding our photographer, videographer, DJ and MC were constantly reaching out to my fiancé and I with questions regarding our big day. Mainly asking what the timeline was, they all wished that they received this earlier. We had the luxury of having our close friends and family be our vendors, so their honest feedback was definitely shared with us. They've also expressed to my finance and I that the communication was very delayed.

    One thing that really stressed us was the photo permit wedding week. When we held one of our in person meetings, she gave us the confidence that she would handle all paperwork for the park (COI, permits, etc). Though this part seemed lacking. Ours photographer called us 3 days prior to wedding day asking questions. Definitely something that should happen wedding week for the bride. We had the understanding that everything was communicated to our vendors on requirements for the park. We would have hoped this was all squared away and vendors were confident 2-4 weeks prior to wedding day.

    I have plenty more to say but I will only add one more thing that really upset me. My best friend was my flower girl (no kids wedding) and somehow she played the coordinator role. She assisted in valet parking and seating guests because Grace stated "she knew more people" My best friend felt that Grace kept pushing her to do things. She even asked her at one point how many seats were open. Isnt this a coordinator's job not a flower girl? Sadly I did not get to celebrate with her as much as I would have hoped. It was upsetting when my best friend vented all this to me rather than sharing what she enjoyed about my wedding day.

    All in all, The work she provided did NOT meet our expectations. The large amount we paid for her services did not equate to the work she delivered wedding day. We just hoped there was a little more planning for sensitive things throughout the wedding day. We hoped that there was a little more communication on her end as a coordinator and self initiative on issues that arise. We would've liked for her to take more initiative and attention to detail. It seemed like there was a lack of concern on her part. Felt like she just came to collect a check.
