My husband and I had Vince as our DJ, and he was absolutely amazing! Vince played a mixture of music for all age groups, and was able to transition songs seamlessly! We had tons of guests on the dance floor the entire time! At the end of the night numerous guests told me it was the best wedding they have ever attended! I highly recommend Events by Cool Cats, there whole team made the wedding planning easy and enjoyable!

Amazing wedding dj
I can say this without a doubt that I've never heard a better wedding DJ in my life. Vince made the perfect mixes to get the party started and it never stopped!! Vinny MC'ed the entire night and kept everyone hyped for an amazing night! Couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate our big day. Everyone had a blast and it wouldn't have been possible without Vince and Vinny. You guys rock!!!

Vince is so down to earth. He knows all the great songs to play, and he knows when to play them. When he noticed that my guess weren’t really dancing he knew exactly what to play to get them on the dance floor. That was the moment I knew I hired the right person. He never gave us a canned response, or a general spiel at all. He was open, and honest, and all around the best vendor that I had.

Call Vince Jr. FTW (for the win, and for the wedding)!
Our wedding ended up getting cancelled because of COVID, and we paid a deposit but ultimately did not get to use this vendor (or any vendors). This vendor recently switched hands to the prior owner's son, Vince or Vinny Jr. He's been great to work with and has a clear vision for this business. He has a strong work ethic and is dedicated to client satisfaction. You're in good hands with Vince and the future couldn't be brighter for Cool Cat/Motions DJ.

I have used Cool Cat for all 3 of my daughter's Bat Mitzvah's. The DJ really is the person who runs the party and Vinny and his staff have an extensive knowledge of how Bat Mitzvahs are organized. They provide everything you need from montage, candle lighting ceremony, party games and the hora. Every DJ and entertainer from Cool Cat has had so much energy and personality. The Cool Cat team works with you to plan your party, offers excellent advice and delivers what they say they will and more. They check in during the party and make any adjustments you may need.
In a nutshell...they are reliable, professional and accommodating. They help get the party moving when it needs to and bring a relaxing mood when things need to settle down. Do not hesitate to hire Cool Cat. It is the best money you will spend.

Party of the Year!
As you can see from the other reviews, Vinny and the Cool Cat team are THE DJs to have at your wedding if you want it to be the perfect party. My friends are still texting me (almost 2 weeks later) talking about how they have never been to a more fun wedding and have never seen so many people on the dance floor the entire night.
From the get go Vinny was amazing. I live in NYC so we have a few phone calls to plan everything and he was incredible. He made sure to play the specific songs that I wanted back to me over the phone to make sure it was the correct one, gave me recommendations and all in all put me at ease that the dance floor would be totally under his control.
I also found it extremely helpful that they have an online portal that takes all the stress and thinking away from you. Every detail is listed for you to fill in with what song for the occasion and what songs must me played and what songs you absolutely hate. They even have a special comment section where you give finer details about the family that DJs should know (divorced parents etc) to avoid any awkwardness.
The day of they were dressed and ready to go! Like I said they had everyone on the dance floor in the first song and the way they set up the evening they got all the "wedding stuff" out of the way so that the last 3 hours were all for partying! It helped move the wedding along and gave us all more time to just celebrate with friends and family.
Like I said, if you want your wedding to be the party to beat - hire Cool Cats. You will not be disappointed!

Incredible Wedding DJ with a Personal Touch
Going with DJ Vinny and Cool Cat was the best decision we could have made while planning our big day. DJ Vinny's ability to turn our vision into a reality with his personal touch made it feel like he was part of the family before the night even started. Vinny accommodated all of our song requests and even added an extra hour of play to our reception during the reception when we decided that we didn't want the party to end! Many of our guests commented that this was the most fun wedding that they have been to, which is in large part thanks to Vinny. Best wedding DJ
Dillon made our wedding reception amazingly fun, exciting and non-stop dancing. There are not even words for what a great job he did. Everyone said that he was the best wedding DJ they had ever seen (even an aunt who works in the wedding business). He was extremely responsive to my questions and concerns. He coordinated with the venue. We lived out of town and he skyped with us to plan the timeline. He was extremely energetic and fun. He made the party everything we wanted and more. We also got our up lighting and photo-booth from Cool Cat, and both worked out perfectly. I highly recommend Dillon, and the Cool Cat organization for your wedding!

Dillon knows how to read the crowd!
We had Dillon as our DJ and he was awesome! He is alot of fun, gets out there and dances with you and super energetic! He made our wedding so much fun and really knew the music to play to keep the party going! He could read the crowd to tell what to play to keep everyone on the dance floor! Dillon went above and beyond for our wedding and made it a night to remember forever! They have an online portal to make all of your music choices and was so easy to use to let you customize your wedding day playlist! We also booked the photo booth through Cool Cat which was super convenient and was a great addition to our day!

Vinny and his son did such an AMAZING job for our wedding!!! We found out about him initially 7+ years ago when we attended our friends wedding and had the best time ever. Paulie was an awesome DJ with great energy. He was able to accommodate our unique venue (backyard wedding) and even helped us out with many items during the wedding, including putting the available power from his ceremony spot up to his wedding spot. Couldn't be happier we went with Cool Cat
Every step and every detail of our experience with Cool Cat was perfect. Vinny knew exactly what he was doing, had great recommendations for ways to entertain during the reception and knew exactly how to get the dance floor going from start to finish. There was not one point in the wedding that the dance floor wasn't full. He was more than willing to meet with us before the wedding to get an idea of what we wanted and then again to finalize our ideas and work on some music ideas for different parts of the day. You can tell he is very passionate about the entire wedding experience and really cares that your day is perfect. The entire experience from requesting a quote, to meetings and the big day was a breeze and would 10/10 recommend Cool Cat and Vinny to anyone looking for a DJ.

Danced all night long!
Events by Cool Cat is the way to go! Mo had us dancing all night long! He was amazing...EVERY SINGLE ONE of our guests commented on not only how amazing Mo was but his music choice and ability to read the crowd were on point! Made an incredible night!
Dillon completed our wedding! He was the best dj I have ever seen at a wedding! He kept everyone dancing all night and even came on the dance floor himself to join us with his amazing dancing skills! It felt like he was apart of our family that day! He even came up to us if someone requested a participation song to see if we wanted to play it or not. Most people were dancing to the last song and even took a picture for us of everyone on the dance floor. If you want an amazing wedding that everyone talks about weeks to follow then you need Dillon to be your dj! You will not regret it! He was the life of the party!

Fostered a great party!
There are so many pros to hiring Cool Cat. Their website to add music is so easy to use. My husband and I had fun adding to the lists and searching music. Vinny went around during cocktail hour playing card games with our guests, which is beyond the expectation of a DJ! One of my favorite parts of the nights was when Vinny and the other DJ (I forgot his name!) played the dollar game before dinner. It was a competition to get people talking, laughing and dancing! So many amazing moments came out of this game! Our guests danced all night long and I don't think I sat down after dinner! Having Cool Cat as our entertainment took a huge stress off our shoulders. We did not have to worry about any piece of the reception as they handled the flow of everything!

The best DJ! All around amazing experience!
Working with Cool Cats was a great experience all around. The online portal helped make the whole process stress free and it helped us be 100% confident that the whole evening would go as smooth as possible. Vinny and Tina were very responsive and set us up with a great DJ. Our DJ (Paul) was super friendly and very easy to work with. He provided many helpful tips and ideas throughout our multiple planning calls. He made it a point to make sure we had every detail figured out before the wedding day so that there would be nothing to worry about the day of. During the reception, Paul had the dance floor rocking the entire night and he played all of the songs we wanted. We had never been to a wedding where the dance floor was nearly full the entire night! One of the biggest compliments we’ve received from our guests was how great the DJ was. We would highly recommend!

Vince was the best DJ! We had close to 700 people and I had so many people tell me how much they loved him. He played popular songs based on the age group that attended our event and he killed it! We could not have asked for a better DJ. They personalized the whole night to our liking, including music, wedding entrances and kept the whole crowd informed of what was going on during the entire reception. The dance floor was flooded the entire night. We have received compliment after compliment about the energy of our wedding, and I attribute that to the way the Cool Cat team kept the party going. Awesome party!
I cannot speak highly enough of the Cool Cat team. My now husband and I went to a wedding in 2015 that Cool Cat was DJing - they were so much fun that three years later we had them at our own wedding. They were very organized and had the whole day planned out before hand. Vince answered all of our questions and helped us think of every last detail.
Dan and Vince were amazing DJs! They kept people on the dance floor all night long. I had many people come up to me after the wedding saying that was the most fun wedding they had been to - thank you so much Dan and Vince for making our wedding such a great time!

When I thought about my dream wedding the two things that mattered most to me were our food and entertainment. Well with Cool Cat our entertainment was far above what we imagined. DJ Adam was the best!
DJ Adam and Events by Cool Cat were amazing to work with and I would highly recommend them! To every bride and groom scouring the internet looking for vendors and reading review after review, believe me when I tell you that I don't think you'll find a better DJ. Working with DJ Adam was awesome, he was down to Earth, friendly, and very open to our extremely specific musical taste. My wife and I are both very opinionated and very sarcastic, and DJ Adam just seemed to fit right in to the mold no matter what we threw at him. We had about 3 meetings to plan out music selection and order of events which were actually a lot of fun and very easy to plan with Adam. The day of the wedding everything went off without a hitch, even without an assistant each transition of events was extremely smooth and Adam went above and beyond. I can't thank him enough for doing so. He felt like a part of the family by the time the night was over. Also, his light up suspenders were a big hit, you could tell he really enjoys what he does and it reflects in the overall energy of the night. If you want your dance floor packed for the entire duration of your wedding, BOOK NOW!

Everything we could have imagined and more
Three years ago my boyfriend (at the time) and I were attending a wedding in the saratoga area and the DJ was outstanding. Kept us dancing all night. We discussed then that when we got married we would definitely book these guys. We got a card from them that night and just coming back from our wedding October 27th, 2018 the three year wait was worth the wait!! We were so fortunate to have Vince be there on our special day. With our busy schedules and living distance we weren't able to meet up until the Thursday before our wedding to go over details. That night we knew the night was going to be perfect and Vince had it all under control. They not only kept everyone that came to our wedding up and dancing but setting up for our ceremony so everyone could hear it, including our dog of honor who barked! The ceremony music, the microphones, the cocktail music, the introductions, the group dance, our first dance, my father daughter dance everything was so perfect and custom to my husband and I. We didnt want the night to end! We will definitely be using Cool Cat and Experience again! Stop looking around they are perfect!

DJ Pauly and Olivia were amazingggg, I can not say enough good things about them and this company. They provide a high level of service at an affordable price. DJ Paul had the dance floor filled from the moment we started the party until it ended. He was so attentive to our needs as well and made sure that everything we could have wanted to happen, happened! They did our ceremony and cocktail hour as well and the transitions were perfect. They were amazing, and their online planner helped ensure things were flawless. I would totally recommend these guys to anyone looking for a DJ. They certainly know what they are doing when it comes to the DJ world! We love them and are so happy someone recommended them to us!

Cool Cats are hands down the best DJ service in the area! They have it all! They think of every single detail! You have an online portal that you fill out during the planning process with your information songs etc. It is so helpful and puts your mind at ease knowing they have you covered! We hit the jackpot by hiring Cool Cat!! My wedding was almost 1 month ago, and people are still raving about how amazing the music was and how the DJ was incredible! The price is extremely reasonable compared to all other wedding DJ companies, and the extras they offer are great! We hired Vince jr. and all I can say is.. WOW! Throughout the entire planning process, Vince was so accommodating, great with communication, and truly made my wedding unique to us! We met in person several times, and Vince sat with us and hand picked songs to ensure the music was exactly what we wanted. We wanted a mix of 3 different songs for our first dance, and a special mix for the last song of the night...Vince worked with us for weeks, made several versions of the mixes, and did not stop until they were absolutely perfect! The energy that Vince brought to our wedding was incredible, and you can tell that he truly has a passion for what he does! Our goal was to have an amazing party, and with the help of Vince, we achieved that goal! Music is a VITAL part of an event, especially a wedding, and Cool Cat was nothing short of perfect!! I have received more compliments from my guests about DJ Mike than anything else from my wedding night! He was amazing! Great at keeping energy up and flow of events, even great with the children dancing on the floor. I loved the planning form the company uses. They did a fantastic job for our daughters' bat mitzvah. Tricia, Nate and Britt were amazing DJs. Tricia went out of her way to meet with us in advance and give us personalized attention in advance of the evening. They got over sixty 13 and 14 year olds up and dancing for hours - no easy task! Adam Fowler and Beau made our wedding FANTASTIC not only did they do an amazing job with the entertainment for our wedding but Adam stayed up with me the night before our wedding helping me pick out the perfect playlist! He went ABOVE AND BEYOND what we had expected a DJ to be like. We would STRONGLY recommend anyone to use their services. Cool Cat Entertainment provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and every single piece went off without a hitch. If there were any issues they were never brought to our attention and were handled on the spot which as the bride was very important to me. Dillon was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. He spent extra time getting to know us and exactly what we wanted and he did not disappoint. Everyone who I’ve talked to after the wedding commented on how great our DJ was and how much fun they had. At one point he even stepped in to usher a guest to her seat before the ceremony because the ushers were all occupied. HIRE COOL CAT!! I can't recommend them enough. We live in the Capital Region, and paid them to travel to Niagara Falls for our wedding after attending several other weddings where they DJ'd. They were an absolute HIGHLIGHT! Paul and Eric were extremely communicative, flexible and FUN to work with. They both went above and beyond to make our day a hit! They were on point with all of our requests, and a huge hit with our guests! On top of that - they lit our outdoor tent and make it look like a night club! My husband, family, friends and I loved the DJ. Adam and his crew did an amazing job. The venue that we picked is a hard place to get everyone’s attention (it was partially inside, outside, and there was two barns for people to go to) but the Adam did a great job getting the party started and keeping people engaged! My family has used Cool Cats Entertainment for all 3 boys' weddings. At the beginning of the process we specifically asked NOT for a certain DJ just from past experience. We didn't meet with any other DJs as we have already seen the amazing work that Cool Cat is capable of. Everyone is great. From our first meeting with Michael who broke out singing Dance with somebody which is one of my favorites to all of the planning that Vince did to make our day wonderful we couldn't be more happy that we booked with Cool Cat. They did our ceremony music, played Black Jack for cockatail hour, kept the dance floor packed, and stayed for our after party. I cannot not say enough about Vince - he took over when our other DJ was no longer able to be at our wedding, and boy did we get lucky! My now husband was a little nervous after our meeting because he was "younger" and they had different tastes in music, but let me tell you - VINCE WAS AMAZING! Vince was awesome to work with. He saved our butt after our DJ couldn't do the wedding 1 month before. He linked us up with Nick to be our DJ, who was absolutely terrific.
Nick - Not only were you terrific to work with from the first time we talked, but you were just a gem of a person and a professional at the wedding. You helped us and our vendors run everything smoothly and really were a full-service DJ, going way above and beyond. Your little touches (like bringing us drinks!) combined with your always calm, happy voice and ever present smile helped to make use even happier!
Our friends are ridiculously hard critics of DJs, and many of them said afterwards, unsolicited, that you were by far the best they ever saw and now their favorite. They loved your drumming, how you wove in the music choices, how you were involved but didn't make it about you, and overall enthusiasm.
Thank you. We wanted our wedding to be a party in the woods with the people we love the most, and you "got it" and blended right in as the awesome person and DJ you are.

There are no words to describe how much you need to hire Cool Cat!! They. Made. Our. Wedding! I can’t even tell you how many people have told us or my parents that our wedding was either the MOST fun or one of the best weddings they’ve ever been to. They made our wedding SO much fun and everyone had an absolute blast. I highly recommend requesting Mike P. – he is the best! He is so awesome to work with leading up to the wedding and is hilarious and really keeps your guests into the reception. And he’s not afraid to get himself out there with your guests! We’ve got some great pictures of him rocking out with our friends. We also chose our officiant through Cool Cat – Susan – and she was so great and wrote such a nice ceremony for us. We ALSO used their photo booth and that was a massive hit. I can’t recommend these guys enough. You will not regret this decision one bit. If I could give them a hundred stars I would.

PLEASE do yourself a favor and book these guys as your wedding DJs! You will NOT be disappointed! Our wedding was nearly 3 weeks ago, on June 30th, and we have not gone a day since then were we have not been told how amazing our DJ was. He had everyone up and dancing the entire night. The songs he played were absolutely amazing, and there was such a wonderful variety. I especially loved that he did a special shout out for our dog, Jagger, when "Moves Like Jagger" came on( this also happened to be the name of one of our signature drinks). Vince also did a wonderful job keeping guests informed on what was going on (cake cutting, letting them know where the guestbook was, father daughter dance, etc.) so that our guests didn't miss out on anything! Honestly, one of the best parts of our wedding was having Vince as our DJ and we are so happy he have us and our guests such a wonderful experience!

My husband and I contacted Events by Cool Cat when our original DJ backed out of our wedding with only a few months to go before the wedding date. From start to finish, it was great working with our DJ, Vinny, and others at Events by Cool Cat. Vinny really cared about making our wedding special and fitting things to our tastes. He was always there whenever we had even the smallest questions and got back to us right away. The website that Events by Cool Cat uses was also really great. It was awesome to be able to pick out a lot of the music played at our wedding. Vinny also created little games to play throughout the cocktail hour and reception to keep peoples' interest. We just got back from our Wedding Weekend. My wife and I haven't even had a chance to unpack, but I felt that I needed to write this review because I was so happy and impressed with the service provided.
Without going into too much detail, our ORIGINAL DJ for our Wedding decided not to fulfill their contract/obligation, despite having already been paid upfront (finances were handled on the back end by Vinny and the other company, so we were not charged even $1 extra). We found out about this essentially 3 days before the Wedding. As I'm sure that many involved with planning their special day would agree, this is not something that you want to find out about 72 hours prior.
This is where Events by Cool Cat comes into play. Vince Jr reached out to us, as he was aware of the situation with the original company that we had booked. He had been assisting to ensure that dozens of couples would not be left high and dry for an experience as important as this.
He re-assured us that he would be providing the DJ service for our Wedding. Despite his busy schedule, he took the time to speak with us not just once, but twice in a two day period, to ensure that he was aware of all the details surrounding our Ceremony and Reception.
Ultimately, the services provided by Vince Jr. and his assistant were more than we could have hoped for! Everything went as smooth as planned, his energy and song choices got everyone on the dance floor, and his professionalism left us with nothing but smiles and a great impression.
If this is the type of excellent service that Events by Cool Cat would provide to clients that were not even originally theirs, I can only imagine that working with them from the start of your Wedding/Event planning would be even more of an amazing experience.
Don't bother looking elsewhere, this company is the one that you NEED!

AMAZING!! Our guests raved about our 3 DJ's Vince Jr, and his assistants Nate and Lamont! Our original DJ backed out of our wedding 2 weeks before but cool cat was to the rescue!! Vince Liotta and his team of two assistants were absolutely wonderful to work with: very professional, punctual, organized and fun, from the initial consultation up to the event. He spent a couple of hours with us to walk through a checklist of items for my son's wedding reception at the Desmond Hotel in Albany, including selection of a playlist of songs based on our taste and theme (and they have everything under the sun for any genre of music requested). We did not have a large crowd (about 60 guests), but the size of the room and the evening's high energy music and activities made it feel like a night club party for the 4 hours they were there (cocktail hour + dinner). Vince has a great sense of humor, and was warm and friendly to the crowd. Everyone young and old enjoyed the reception, and the Events by Cool Cat team helped bring it all together. We found out they were the same DJs who did the 2017 Niskayuna HS junior prom where the brother of the groom went, and he had a blast at that. They came highly recommended by multiple friends, and we are also making the recommendation - 5 stars!

It couldn't have been a better event, Fun Dance grades1-4 our first time hosting a dance.
We will definitely schedule more dances for next year and Cool Cats will be our choice vendor.Vincent and his assistant entertained our children playing dance games for 2 hours non stop.The kids loved It "best time ever" !!!

Cool Cat DJ services were wonderful!! I had a Sweet 16 Party for my daughter where approximately 70 teens were invited. Once the kids hit the dance floor they danced all night long! The DJs Steven and Andrew were personable and helped keep the formalities of the party moving as well. My adult guests are planning on hiring them as they were so good! Would definitely hire them again! They made sure this party was a blast!! With so many teenagers it was important to keep them engaged in the party as to not have kids wanting to wander off from the party in a hotel setting. The kids didn’t want to leave as they didn’t want to miss the fun and great songs! The DJs also has fun glow bracelets, hats etc. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I got married this past August and we were so happy with how everything turned out! Nick was our dj that we worked with and he did a great job! He always made us feel at ease and answered all of our questions leading up to the wedding. Everyone at our wedding had a great time because he made sure to get people on the dance floor and he was very interactive with our guests which we loved! The whole staff at Cool Cat was amazing! We also had a photo booth and it turned out great! We even put our date of our wedding on all the photos so we could use that as our wedding favor. Hannah was also very helpful when I was first looking for a photographer and she made me feel very comfortable and always answered all my questions. She helped us book our honeymoon which was a stress reliever to have someone help you! Vinny and his wife were also very helpful when we had some questions regarding our honeymoon and they helped us work out important details for the trip. Katherine was wonderful as well! She was our main photographer for our wedding but she also had an assistant and they both did a fabulous job! Our pictures came out great! We would highly recommend her! I am so happy my husband and I chose Cool Cat for our wedding! It was definitely a great choice!! :)

Mike was dancing with us on the dance floor, played what I asked and similar genres, and engaged the crowd! The dj booth along with uplighting made the place even more fun! Will definitely use this company and specifically Mike again!

Excellent company to work with they did a great job at our New Years Eve Party. They had the young and old all on the dance floor having a great time dancing together . the DJ kept the party going all night long not once was the dance floor empty. We had sooo much fun with Mike from Events by Cool Cat. I tend to be a bit neurotic at our events and he was so professional and willing to go with the flow.From start to finish he kept our attendees engaged, laughing and having a great time.We couldn't have done this night without him and he got rave reviews from our attendees. He was the perfect host for our 70's themed game night. We can't wait to work with him again!

Cool Cat was a pleasure to work with from the very start! My mom spoke with owner Vinny the first time she called to inquire and he answered all her questions and got her so excited for the big day...even though it was over a year away. The portal they provide for planning purposes was easy to use and kept everything in one place. DJ Mike met with my fiance and I twice before the wedding to make sure he got to know us as a couple as well as all our hopes and wishes for the day. He even helped prepare a mashup for a surprise father daughter dance. On the day of, everything was perfect! Mike and Eric kept the dance floor packed the whole time and we danced until we were kindly kicked out of the venue at the end of the night. Definitely recommend!

Mike was our DJ and he was fantastic to work with! We met a few times in advance to plan out our night, and he was so very helpful with all of the details and logistics. We easily able to add requests online in advance and Mike put us at ease.
The day of, he kept the party going the entire reception - the dance floor was never empty! People had the best time, and Mike was great about interacting with guests, the crowds, and keeping it light and fun!

I chose Events by Cool Cat because I had been to weddings that they turned into awesome parties and that's what my husband and I wanted. When we met with Vinny we were sold- we had such great energy in the first meeting and grasped the concept of what we wanted our wedding to be. We used a credit to select our DJ/entertainer. Vinny, knowing what we wanted, had suggested Nick, so we took the suggestion and selected Nick to run the show. When we met with Nick he had so many ideas- fun, emotional, things we had never seen before. We were so excited. For the father- daughter dance, my dad and me have always had a fun relationship and my dad was nervous so Nick suggested we pretend I chose a funny song to dance to before our real song, my dad loved it and it relaxed him! My husband is more emotional towards his mom and Nick and him created an awesome voice over that I am certain had everyone in the room crying. He played games during cocktail hour and the reception and my guests could not get enough. The dance floor was never empty and that's how we wanted it. Hands down theee best DJs in the Capital District. Above and beyond to make the wedding a party - accomodating to every single request we had and every age group! The voiceovers for our parents were a proactive recommendation from DJ Mike and were one of the biggest hits of the wedding.
