    Events By Clark (Day of coordinator and rentals)

    Events By Clark made my wedding a day to remember. She and her team was prompt, attentive and professional. They worked well with all my vendors and even helped me with my last minute vendor finds! I highly recommend for your wedding needs!

    Last Minute Prayer Answered

    I had the most horrible experience with a wedding planner (Regal Designs) and about 3 months before our wedding, we had to fire that company. Thankfully Mela with Events by Clark landed right in my lap and it was up from there. She made sure we didn’t have anything to worry about from the time we met until the last minute of our wedding. All I had to do was give her what she asked for. From vendor contacts, decor set up, etc she took the lead and handled it all. For all my brides looking for a stress free experience, Mela is your girl as she was mine.

    Overall Amazing!!

    We absolutely loved Mela and her team! We booked Events By Clark as our day of coordinator and decorator and when I tell you so many things that were going unplanned including the bride forgetting her veil and the groom forgetting his belt, Mela made sure that we were completely stress free for our wedding. The decor was stunning!! When I tell you we had no idea where to start with our decor, Mela created a vision board for us to see how our venue would look with the decor which was super helpful!! Her team was also a huge help with having fans for us due to our wedding being outdoors and sweating, overall we had an amazing experience with Events By Clark!

    Super knowledgeable

    Her knowledge on the wedding industry is top notch! She truly does take the stress of the big day away and allow you to only worry about yourself, while she handles all the fine details. It also helps that's she's a pleasure to be around!

    Great Wedding Coordinator and much more

    Mela was very helpful through my process even though I hired her for day of wedding coordinator services. She would answer any questions I had about finding vendors , assistance with communicating with vendors and give advice or suggestions whenever I would reach out to her. Mela did a great job before the wedding day and the actual day. She ran the wedding rehearsal for us which really helped out since our officiant couldn’t make it. There were other family members that said she was awesome as well and was really about her business, which is a compliment!

    Mela was our planner for our April 2018 wedding, and we literally could not have done it without her! We had a large wedding at a venue which was more challenging than we'd anticipated when we selected it. Mela was fantastic in dealing with all our vendors, coordinating the schedule and timelines, providing us with options and advice, and managing the staff the day of the wedding. She also did our decor for the wedding which turned out beautifully and created a great atmosphere. We had several guests comment to us about how impressed they were with her during the wedding and reception. Mela was responsive and professional in all our communications, and a lot of fun to work with. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

    Mela is so professional, organized, and a delight to work with! She helped with day-of set-up and coordination of vendors at both my kids' bar mitzvahs. Decorations looked great and she stayed until the end of the parties to make sure everything ran smoothly...I couldn't have done it without her! thank you Mela!

    I’d like for all brides to sit up and pay attention to this review. I really would like to take the time out to say this was one of the best days of my life and one of the biggest reasons besides marring my husband would be hiring Mrs. Mela Clark Pitts as my event planner/ decorator as well as the day of wedding coordinator.
    I could not have picked a better person for the job. Her passion for details along with working with me on a daily basis threw out the year gave me a calm factor that was unbelievable. Even when I wasn't sure about something she always check in with me, talking me off the roof any given day, going over different ideas, keeping up with any changing, by always writing notes during any given day to keep up with all conversation. I'm not a family member of Mela or friend however you would think she knew me all her life so I need again for everyone to know that I'm a bride that was in need of a professional event planner/decorator and it would be her.

    The day of my wedding she was like super woman. She jumps in with her team to help other vendor that was behind. If it was not for Mela my wedding would have been a mess and I mean this if it was not for Mela I don't know what I would have done. If something was going wrong I did not know about it do to her relinquish policy. She even had one of her team members on standby with my flats when the high heels had to come off. She thinks of everything. Who does this, no one but her? She did not leave until the very end making sure the Mansion we rented for our wedding was exactly the way it was when they got there. She made sure all vendors were packed up with the right things without a glitch. I'm looking forward to hire her for future events.

    I'm on cloud 9 after my wedding. Events by Clark has been nothing but a pleasure to work with during the planning and execution of my wedding.

    Up to about 2 months before the big day, I thought I could plan and coordinate everything. I reached a point of being overwhelmed with the vendors and everything else that comes with the planning. I called Events by Clark and worked with Mela. In our meeting, we went over what was done and she took over from there. As we went over the services that they provide, I could feel weight coming off as she went through each bullet.

    They exhibit excellent vendor management and coordination. They think of the details that you wouldn't think of. Mela was always available via email or phone or even in person as needed. I only had one meltdown (maybe it was cold feet) and she was able to talk me off the ledge. Lol.

    She has a great eye for decor so being that I'm not the "girly" type, she was extremely helpful when it was time to make decisions about table arrangements and flowers, working closely with the other vendors.

    The day of... It was amazing!!!!!! I didn't have to worry about one thing. I actually got to enjoy my wedding as opposed to managing it myself.
    I was flattered to see a post on social media about my wedding, referring to it as being on the caliber of "David Tutera" weddings.
    I thank Events by Clark for making us look extra good! We along with our guests enjoyed the entire day!

    After searching everywhere for a wedding coordinator to help me with vendor management and day of coordinating, I finally found Mela. Mela was instantly on top of every detail and truly listened to my vision for the day and was willing to do whatever it took to make sure my new husband and I had the best day of our lives. We didn't have the easiest venue to deal with, but with Mela's professionalism and poise she took things in control and kept the few days leading up to the wedding as smooth as can be. She was very quick in her communication with me and willing to meet as many times as I needed and always had a smile on her face and confidence that was so reassuring. The day of the wedding, I truly felt like a guest at my wedding, as she promised the first time we met. Her and her staff were amazing. They were extremely organized and made the day as perfect as can be. Throughout the night, she even had one of her staff members stay with me and hold my train if needed and bring me water or anything else I might have needed. They were always so thoughtful and sweet. I received so many compliments and comments from my guests after the wedding, telling me what an awesome job Mela did, coordinating the day. I continue to recommend Mela to all of my close friends/family and anyone needing an event be planned and/or coordinated, especially a wedding!

    I can't say enough great things about Mela Clark and her services! She was our wedding decorator and I also hired her as our wedding day-of coordinator. She was fabulous: the decor I selected for my reception looked AMAZING and was set-up flawlessly, she made sure everything went smoothly for everyone, and she kept offering to help us with more. She met with me 3-4 times in person, and even came to my house a few times to collect/drop-off things to me. I am so extremely grateful for her, and her expertise! Hire her! You won't regret it!

    I learned about Events by Clark through a friend. Mela was exceptionally fantabulous. My goals for a wedding was to throw something "fun" but with Mela's touch, my wedding also was constantly referred to as "elegant", "classy", etc. Besides how the wedding looked, there was also the fact that Mela was a joy to work with. I initially hired her for decorating and flowers but ended up having her do more because she constantly went above and beyond, and she made the process so pleasant. She was definitely part of my planning team. I almost want to have an anniversary party every year just so I can hire her again. :-)

    I can’t say enough positive things about Mela and her company. I was placed in the daunting task of organizing my older brother’s wedding while I lived out of state. As the date quickly approached, I realized that I needed help. With just 4 weeks notice, I found Mela and she was an angel sent to help me create an event masterpiece!! I chose the “day of” option as I had already booked all my vendors, but it was the little details that made all the difference. She created a detailed timeline that was shared with all vendors and family members, she created the seating charts and escort tables; which were beautifully made. I had the bright idea of having menu card 4 days before the wedding – and she made it happen! She went above and beyond – helping with décor, assisting our guests during the event, coordinating vendor set up and break down, she even had the flip flops ready for me and my sister when we could no longer handle our heels! She stayed with us till the very end of the event and her staff was very professional.

    I received so many compliments throughout the night and weeks after the wedding!

    I am so glad that we chose Events by Clark as our wedding planner and designer. When we were in the process of interviewing potential planners, Mela continued to listen to what we wanted for my perfect Cinderella wedding with a definite romantic and alluring undertone. She presented us with not only creative but fabulous ideas. She is so detailed and meticulous about all aspects of our wedding that I felt so confident in her abilities. Her and her staff tended to our every need and desire and made our day that should have been full of stress to an event that I had so much fun and will truly cherish forever. We would like to thank her for her professionalism, her timeliness, and her assistance in all areas....even when it wasn't part of her duties, she was willing to help in any and every way.     My brother asked me to plan his wedding, but I knew the task was too big for me. I called Events by Clark and hired Mela Clark to do the planning for his wedding. On our first meeting she met with my brother, his fiancé, and myself over lunch to discuss the initial plans for the wedding. She was extremely professional, organized, with the sweet and caring personality I was looking for in a wedding planner. She came prepared with ideas, checklists, and venues she had in mind with our budget. She took us to see a wedding venue the same day and within 2 days she worked out a deal with the venue and we booked it! Mela went above and beyond my expectations. She researched and contacted vendors, scheduled all of our appointments, and attended all of the appointments with us. She managed any issues with the vendors so we didn't have to worry about them (example: the invitation proof was incorrect and she worked with the vendor to get it fixed). She managed all the contracts and payments with the vendors. She provided a wedding agenda for the family which listed dates, times, hotels, addresses, and venues for dress rehearsal and the wedding. She also provided the wedding timeline and activities for the day of the wedding with important details for the venue staff, Photographer, DJ, Bride and Groom as well as the family.

    Mela was truly on top of everything. Let me give you an example. We hired a Mariachi Band for the wedding. They were scheduled to be at the wedding and playing at 8:15pm. They had not shown up by 8:08pm so I said to Mela, "Will the Mariachi Band be here at 8:15?". She said "I've already called them and they said they will be here and playing by 8:15". The Mariachi Band showed and was playing lovely music by 8:15!

    On the wedding day Mela was the first person to arrive at the venue and the last person to leave. She made everything easy for the Bride, Groom and myself. Mela was such a pleasure to work with.

    Mela was wonderful to us during the entire planning process of our wedding. We had alot of last minute changes and additions along with design questions, and she did an amazing job of taking care of our needs and making sure the design fitted with what I envisioned. She was great at coming up with a centerpiece example after just a short conversation about what I wanted. Mela also took care of working with the vendors and keeping me updated which was great because it kept down my stress level, as I knew she had it handled. I would recommend Events by Clark to anyone I know planning a wedding!
