We had an incredible experience working with Chandani from Events by C as our wedding planner and coordinator. From start to finish, she did an amazing job keeping everything on track and ensuring the entire day ran seamlessly.
She was extremely organized and proactive, consistently coordinating with all of our vendors and making sure everyone was aligned. What really stood out was her ability to foresee potential issues before they happened and handle them behind the scenes without adding any stress to us.
Thanks to Chandani, we were able to truly enjoy our wedding day without worrying about logistics. Everything flowed perfectly, and that’s a testament to her professionalism and attention to detail.

Chandani and her team are the absolute best. I’m a picky bride - I met with not one, not two, but six different wedding planners before I met with Chandani (and I met with three more after). I was looking for a planner who could tell it to me straight - no BS - no telling me the dream I was painting with my stated budget was possible, but instead turning my dream into possible through thoughtful questions and approaches. We signed on to the partial planning process pre-deciding our venue, and that, for us was the best choice. She understood our vision, tailored vendors and venues to our liking but also beyond our imagination. We wanted someone to be a part of our team, not be a back seat driver or runaway truck. She was exactly that. The number one comment from our guests on the wedding day (after gushing about the bride and groom of course) was how timeline everything ran. We finished our hindu wedding ceremony 5 minutes early. IST who??? Truly, best decision we made. -

When we first started planning our big multi-day Indian wedding, I was so overwhelmed. We initially had a different planner right after getting engaged, but that fell through due to unforeseen circumstances. So there we were, scouting venues on our own—and honestly, it became stressful very quickly. After we finally secured our venue, I interviewed multiple planners in the DMV, and it was immediately clear that Chandani was the right fit for us. She was calm, responsive, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable about both local and non-local vendors.
Chandani made the entire planning process feel so much less intimidating. She broke everything down into clear phases so we knew exactly which vendors to book and when. She reviewed contracts, helped negotiate pricing, answered all (and I mean all) of my many questions, and even brainstormed with me on how to bring fresh, innovative ideas to each of our events (including live painters, musicians, casino games and more!).
But truly, nothing compares to how invaluable her team was during our actual wedding weekend. As a type A bride, I hadn’t been able to turn my brain off for months, but once the weekend began, I had FULL confidence that Chandani's team would execute every detail flawlessly. I wasn’t bothered once—I got to be fully present and actually enjoy those days! Even our guests couldn’t stop raving about how she managed to keep an Indian wedding running on time (a miracle in itself!) and how seamlessly every detail came together.
Chandani is an expert in big fat Indian weddings—no task is too big or too complicated for her. And trust me, I tested that by wanting to bring in a traditional banana leaf–style thali lunch after our wedding ceremony. She coordinated it all flawlessly. Along the way, she didn’t just become our planner—she became a truly lovely friend. Hire her - you won't regret it! -

Hiring Chandani was the best decision me and my fiancé made when beginning the wedding planning process - she was able to create a vision I didn't even know existed with guests leaving our wedding with the words "magical", "fairytale" and "breath-taking". I was the bride who didn't have a clue and she was the perfect leader with all the professionalism, creativity and genuine kindness who eased all the stress that can go into a wedding. Additionally, all the vendors she suggested are just as gifted as she is!
Chandani is not only the one you want to plan your wedding, she is the genuine human who became a suito member of the family! I will sing her and her wonderful team's praises for years to come 🙌! As cliche as it sounds, she's truly the best. Just hire her, you'll be so glad you did! -

My husband and I were doing cross country long distance and I was in school, but Chandani made meetings work with our hectic schedules. She did a lot of research to help us find the perfect vendors and made sure all of our questions were answered. The planning process can be daunting but she broke it down into manageable chunks. Her team on the day of was professional and ran the day like a well oiled machine. Choosing your wedding planner is one of the most important decisions you can make and I’m so glad we found Chandani! -

I don’t know how to put into words just how incredible Chandani “Events by C” and her team were in the entire planning process of my wedding. From the moment we initially connected via phone, I knew Chandani would be my wedding planner. I had interviewed several being the OVD bride I was. Her bubbly personality, communicative style, I truly had no doubt that I wanted her along side me for the most important weekend of my life thus far. I will be the first to admit that I was not an easy going bride by any means … I was extremely particular in every single thing I wanted and didn’t want. She was there every step of the way to offer suggestions, compromises based on our budget etc. From the very first conversation Chandani took my vision and truly made it happen. She provided vendors that she knew I would love (truly don’t know how she does this). She always gave her recommendations but still allowed me to make my own decisions yet guided me in the right direction as she knew what I would and wouldn’t like. On the weekend of our wedding, Chandani and her team not only executed every single detail to perfection, she truly made me and my family so at ease we were able to enjoy every single minute of the weekend. The planning process was very stressful for me but everytime I felt overwhelmed she was there to talk me down via email, text or call and assure me that she had everything under control… which she absolutely did. Beyond being our wedding planner, I truly feel like I’ve gained a beautiful friend for life. Chandani is one of the most kind hearted, funny, organized, detailed oriented and experienced wedding planners I had the pleasure of working with. Our entire wedding weekend was absolutely perfect and it is all thanks to her and her incredible team. -

Working with Chandani and the Events by C team was such a great decision! We could not have pulled off our dream wedding without them. They dealt with all behind the scenes issues and conflicts, before and during the wedding events, and helped us make excellent choices when it came to our vendors. We're so thankful that we had them to support us during the selection process and that they really understood our vision.
Chandani and the team made sure we got what we wanted during the entire wedding. Even if it was something inconvenient, like moving a whole crowd to take a picture at a different location, they made sure to make it happen. They ensured we got to try our food, and have our favorite drinks with us at all times. It really made the day special and enjoyable for us!
During the actual wedding events, the team helped us stick to timelines and they dealt with all vendor hiccups. We actually had quite a few issues with our vendors, but to the guests and us, it was a seamless experience and we found out after the fact. We are so grateful that they were there to help us through all the wedding events so that our families and we could enjoy all our events! It was truly a memorable experience! -

Professional, Hardworking, Trusting and Reliable
When my husband and I initially started planning our wedding (in 2019), I knew a planner was something I definitely wanted to assist us with the process, since we were planning a wedding across country. I remember the first time we spoke to Chandani over the phone and as we were interviewing her, some things that really stuck out to me were her positive attitude, energy and her willingness to go above and beyond. These traits were also consistent throughout our whole entire wedding planning process and trust me when I say, I wouldn't have gotten through wedding planning without her.
I was a very hands on bride and wanted to be involved in every step of the way, Chandani did an excellent job communicating with us and beyond us, our family members as well. Obviously COVID was a huge obstacle for us but besides that, the 5 months leading up to our wedding were horrible; my HMUA dropped her contract 3 months before my wedding, the borders were closed to Indian residents (one set of parents live in India), our wedding potentially being postponed a second time and the COVID gathering restrictions in Virginia. We honestly didn't know if our wedding was going to occur until a month prior, but through it all Chandani was our savior. She was readily available for us and our families at any given time of the day, she continuously worked with all of our vendors to update them on our situation and she worked with us in creating alternative plans. WELL, THE WEDDING FINALLY OCCURRED ON JUNE 20TH, 2021. Chandani and her team were so timely, organized, efficient and everything went down seamlessly. Even if there were issues (what Indian wedding doesn't have mishaps?! lol). As a bride, I was not aware of them and for that I really appreciated Chandani and the team. I would also like to point out, we were ahead of our timeline schedule by 5 mins, again what Indian wedding is AHEAD of the schedule let alone on time?! Even though our wedding was now almost 6 months ago, Chandani is still just as helpful in following up with vendors to make sure we received our pictures and video in a timely manner. -

Life Savers
We had Chandani hop onto our wedding planning the month of our wedding. It goes without saying that Chandani and the team are very organized. They do weddings, they have to be. But the best part about Chandani is her calm nature when it comes to very stressful situations. I like to think that we were a very organized couple, but come game time, all that could go wrong, went wrong.
At our Mehndi, the caterer showed up 2 hours late, with the wrong food, no serving ware, and no staff. Chandani and team made the best of it. It also helped to have her team at an event hosted at home, because there were good a large number of DIY elements that the team needed to put out. At our wedding, the officiant showed up a full hour late, and it rained all day when we were supposed to have a 1.5 hour cocktail hour all outside. Let’s just say thank God we had Chandani and team. Things would have been extremely mismanaged and chaotic if they hadn’t had a pulse over the whole thing.
A few suggestions when working for Chandani, or any planner for that matter. There are a lot of details in your wedding. If you don’t stress the importance of those details, your planner won’t know. Also, remember to have a game plan for all vendors that show up late. If you’re having a Brown wedding, it’s inevitable that someone is late.

We were clueless on how to start planning our wedding and executing what was important to us (and our families) so that there was a good balance for everything needed in an Indian wedding in our short time frame. Enter our Super Heroine Chandani. Probably one of the most special human beings ever, really! She is intelligent, quick witted, organized, knowledgeable and knows her away around the industry, patient, consistently maintains a good composure (even when communicating complicated and serious matter) and most important of all is respectful no matter what your idea is (even when they may be far fetched). The three of us got along really well and I don't think that would have been possible if she wasn't a good, reasonable and hard working person. We saw that instantly in her and she really helped bring our dream wedding into our real world within only 4 months! Yes, you read that right, we were on a time crunch and she had the confidence from the very first communication until the last that she could make this happen...and she did. We worked as a team and sometimes as a family too and that made her involvement in this special time of our life that much more meaningful. I couldn't recommend Events by C more to anyone trying to plan a special event in their life. -

Wedding Vision Fulfilled!
“Elegant. Fun. Thoughtful. Interactive.” These were the words that came to our mind when we were brainstorming how we would want guests to describe our wedding weekend. Not only did guests use these words afterwards to describe our wedding, they also added in a word that we didn’t expect: “Perfect”. “Perfect” is thanks to Chandani and her amazing team at Events by C!
The first time I spoke with Chandani was as she was getting ready to board a flight to India for a funeral. She was so professional and easy-going. She went out of her way to schedule a phone call with me and my then fiancé while she was in India so we could see if she was a good fit. We were so amazed at how responsive she was with everything she had going on. She and her team would respond to emails and texts at all hours of the day, and always find ways to reassure us when obstacles came up.
In the last few months before the wedding, we decided to add on a lot more items for our guests, such as a fortune teller, caricature artist, etc. Instead of being upset at the last minute requests or charging more fees, Chandani was so supportive and made all of our requests happen. She is also very mindful of budgets and did a far better job of keeping costs in mind than we even did!
Chandani is super organized with a meticulously kept Google folder for each couple and her timeline planning factored in potential delays so that when these delays did arise, guests were happily clueless and we didn’t even realize it until after the fact. We entered our wedding weekend to happily see everything we had been planning for months turn into a reality, with the Events by C team at our side guiding us where to go and when. And, unlike many of our married friends, we got to try almost all the food we had carefully picked during the wedding and didn’t starve because Chandani and her team made sure to give us breaks to break away and eat or would bring food to us.
Most importantly, Chandani is very sincere, sweet and respectful of not just the couple but also their families. When non-wedding issues came up in our personal lives that disrupted wedding planning over the course of a few months, she would reach out and offer to meet with us, grab coffee just to talk and give us space from wedding planning when we needed it.
Thank you for making our wedding planning so fun and for making our wedding weekend so special for us, Chandani and the Events by C team! We miss you and wish we could have you plan everything else in our lives too! -

So I reached out to C once I saw her instagram, but as soon as I talked to her, I knew I had to book her. She was super sweet and very patient as well. She was super flexible with how I wanted everything, and at the same time, she made sure I was on top of my to-do list as well. Even on the day of the event, I was so glad to have her. She made sure I was comfortable and everything ran smoothly. She took care of everything! Our parents loved her too since she was able to explain everything in Gujarati to them! I am definitely recommending her to all our friends getting married! Thank you again Chandani for everything!! You're the best! -
Nehal Sent on 02/10/2018From our first talk, I knew booking Chandani was going to be a great decision. We all know that sometimes Indian people aren't the most punctual/easiest to direct. However, Chandani was somehow able to make that magic happen! She helped us organize everything - from sorting contracts, making sure our payments were taken care of, setting up our handmade decor, laying out a detailed itinerary shared with all necessary parties, & making sure my new hubby and I spent some quiet time alone on our busy day! They even helped us include our little dog within our events! She was always responsive, very punctual, and so flexible with our busy schedules. Honestly, I could easily say that because of them - my husband & I didn't stress at all. We were able to thoroughly enjoy every event! I cannot thank you guys enough for that!! <3
Her & her team were very professional and so knowledgeable about the tiniest, yet important, details - like how to help us secure particular hotel rooms to capture photos I wanted, or even setting aside time to say hi to my parents. They worked like crazy not only for both of us, but for our families & our wedding party as well. They helped our families pass out gifts in an organized manner at the reception, ensure that our grandparents had the best view, & even made sure my bridesmaids and I had coffee the morning of! My husband and I were well taken care of during the entire day - we joked that her team were kind of like our CIA security guards, & we felt like Mr. and Mrs. President of the day (haha). They saved us from distractions, hydrated us when we needed, and even made sure we got seconds of our cake, w/the team on deck for touch up lipstick after cake. It was incredible. At the end of the day, C & her team were honestly the reason our wedding was so smooth. We were SO impressed by them, & cannot thank them enough for what they did. We recommend C & her team a million percent!!! Love you guys so much. Thank you for making our day so special! -
