Event Details by Edelina - The BEST!!!

Edelina is amazing - and her assistant too!!

From the moment we hired her she walked us through every single step and "held our hands" regularly, for almost a full year prior to my daughter's wedding. She uses an easy to follow system that breaks down the seemingly monumental amount of tasks to pull off a wedding into very manageable parts. We met via zoom at least once a month to update and determine the next few things to tackle for the following month. I can't tell you how many things we never would have even thought of if she hadn't told us. She is THE expert!!

The rehearsal and the wedding were just perfect. The timeline we had planned for the wedding ended up being off due to guests that arrived late, and you would never have known it. Even having to completely switch around the order of events on the fly- Edelina made sure it all flowed seamlessly as if the new timeline was the plan all along.

She was very attentive to the needs of the bride and entire bridal party, etc. checking in with us frequently while simultaneously checking in with every single vendor - and our guests! - to make sure things were happening on time and to her satisfaction and everyone was comfortable.

Above and beyond is an understatement - seriously. She kept her eyes peeled throughout the planning months for things we had discussed we wanted but hadn't found/purchased yet and let us know about it right away - in case we wanted her to grab it for us. Completely on her own time!

At the rehearsal I realized I had not made enough center pieces for every table and was panicking. She went to the place I purchased the flowers from after the rehearsal (at night!) and MADE enough arrangements for the wedding by the next day - without me even asking or anything. They were identical to the ones I had made.

Edelina carries an "emergency" kit around on the wedding day. All the men in the wedding party were having trouble attaching their boutonnieres to their jackets because the lapel pins were weak and a bit too small. Edelina reaches into her kit and whips out longer and stronger pins than the ones provided by the florist and solves the problem. This is just one example of many where we were just in awe of how thoughtful and extremely competent this woman is.

We HIGHLY recommend Event Details by Edelina. Thanks to you and your assistant for everything!! We can't thank you enough, truly. You made the entire event so much more enjoyable and relaxed than we could have even hoped for. We were able to actually be present in the moment during the whole thing, and really soak it all up. Priceless!!

Edelina was absolutely AMAZING. She made the whole process so seamless and perfect for us. Her assistant Stephanie was amazing too. Everyone at the wedding kept saying how impressed they were, and how it was the best wedding they’ve ever been too - that’s all thanks to Edelina! ❤️

Great Coordinator!

Edelina was very organized, and had our backs at every turn. Figuring out what was wanted for the day, helping with the caterers, getting the group under control to learn the order of events at rehearsal, and just making sure everything went well for the whole day. She and Stephanie also worked hard all day of the event making sure it went smoothly, and through all the planning. Thanks again!!

Amazing to work with!

Edelina was great to work with. We hired her on a package that included monthly meetings for 6 months as well as day of coordinator and 2 week coordinator. Through the process she was very patient, and highly communicative. She guided us and shared her vendor packages. All the vendors we hired that she recommended were really good and all our guests were really amazed by how good our wedding went. During the day of the wedding Edelina handled everything perfectly and all our groomsmen and parents mentioned she was awesome to work with. At the end, she was our favorite vendor and the best investment we made during this whole process.

Top Notch Service

Edelina was professional throughout the entire process with us. We had done quite a bit of research and executed contracts with all of our vendors before we had acquired her services. Perhaps this was like putting the cart before the horse, but she was great at catching up on the details. She took our collected data that we had written and organized for ourselves: Contracts with vendors, Contact Details after we established the liaising of all the other professionals, timelines and expectation, etcetera and did not skip a beat!

She was present at our wedding and a positive influence. She was more like a catalyst for positive control on everything we hired her for. She buzzed around and wasn't really visible - which I think is the point of her role, right?

She is a phenomenal Wedding Coordinator, and an absolute professional. She knows her stuff and we could tell that she learned from her prior engagements to help us prevent any mistakes or short-comings of our own.

Hands down, this is the wedding coordinator/organizer you want to hire. Hire her at the beginning of your wedding journey. She will be a blessing to you.

Highly recommend

First of all, yes you absolutely need a planner or a day-of coordinator. Second of all, you should pick Edelina for the job! During the planning phase, she gave indispensable advice that made everything manageable and kept us on track. She also did a fantastic job on the day off, including going above and beyond to run back to our hotel room to pick up an after-party item we had forgotten. Her direction made sure everything went according to schedule and helped us manage last-minute snags (including weather) without a hitch. Edelina was extremely professional, organized, friendly, and wonderful to work with and we cannot recommend her services enough:

Wonderful planning support and day-of coordination

Edelina was wonderful to work with. We hired her for monthly consultations and day-of service. We knew that we didn't need full planning services, but wanted someone to help keep us on schedule, to ensure we weren't missing details, and to provide feedback and to answer questions. Other planners and coordinators we met with either wanted to do too much or loo little or had wedding styles that didn't match our own. Edelina had incredibly transparent pricing and made it clear that she was there to help us execute our vision. While we sometimes felt that other vendors wanted to influence our vision, Edelina was there to help us make sure that our vision - whatever that was - would become reality. Meeting with Edelina meant that we kept on schedule and provided us with an important source for brainstorming and questions. Edelina is remarkably organized, and she'll help keep you on track. Moreover, though, we really grew to enjoy Edelina's sense of humor. She became a source of support throughout the planning process. While a date change meant that Edelina unfortunately couldn't handle our wedding personally, her two associates flawlessly executed our vision. Knowing that we had the Event Details by Edelina team on our side meant that we could relax in the days leading up to the wedding and trust that they had everything under control. We're very grateful to Edelina and highly recommend her!

The best in Northern VA

We worked with Edelina for 6+ months leading up to our big day and she was incredible. Edelina kept us on track month by month leading up to the wedding and as things got closer made sure we have every last detail accounted for. Her experience and hard work are second to none, day of our wedding we had a couple “hiccups” and my bride and I never even knew because Edelina handled everything seamlessly.
Edelina is nothing short of amazing and if you’re thinking about a coordinator you should choose her because she will take care of you like family.

Wonderful!

Most valuable money spent during entire process! I attribute 100% of the success of our wedding to Edelina. She kept us on track the entire year leading up to it and then the day of she ran around making sure everything was where it needed to be, on time, correctly positioned, etc. We literally could not have pulled this off without her.

To be clear- we had NO idea what we were doing!! She gave us so much insight on what to expect, ideas for decor, vendor recommendations, scheduling recommendations and buildout, and even kept an eye out for special promotions and how to find the best deal! We also used the caterers she recommended and it couldn’t have turned out more perfect. She is SO organized, accommodating, and personable!! We are so incredibly grateful to have found her. I only wish we could have her as part of our daily lives 😭😭😭

Edelina made our wedding perfect.

As someone who set out to plan our wedding, I knew I needed help making sure everything came together -- that I didn't forget any details and that someone would actually make things happen on the day of. Hiring Edelina was the best decision we made in the planning process. Not only did she make sure we had all of our bases covered with our monthly calls leading up to the wedding, she executed everything on our wedding day perfectly. Edelina is amazing!

Edelina is amazing. You can always trust her suggestions. We hired our DJ, florist, and videographer from her list, and they are all amazing. She has quite a lot of experience, gives many valuable suggestions and is very friendly. Not only that. On the event day, she helped take care of everything from decorating the stage to dining tables, from coordinating all the vendors to helping us keep schedules. Best decision we made

Working with Edelina was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. From our first meeting with her to our wedding day, she made the complex task of planning a wedding simple, smooth, and fit our style and budget.

She began by making us a color-coded spreadsheet of all the things we needed to do, and met with us monthly to check in and make suggestions. Her pre-wedding process was invaluable to us, and we highly recommend it. Her recommended vendor list was top notch, and there were options at all budget levels.

As our wedding day approached, Edelina thought of, and had a plan for, everything. On our wedding day, Edelina and her assistant took care of every detail. For example, a button fell off one of our suits and she pulled out a sewing kit and put it back on within minutes. We could tell how much work they put in behind the scenes but on the surface everything just happened, allowing my husband and I to just focus on the wedding, the guests, and each other.

We are so lucky to have found Edelina, and are incredibly grateful for everything she did to make our wedding wonderful. We highly recommend her - she’ll be the best decision you make.

Perfection. Absolute Perfection.

Words cannot express how thankful we are to have had Edelina as our wedding planner. She kept us so organized and pointed out things my spouse and I would have never even thought of.

We contracted with her somewhere between 8-10 months before our wedding, and she tailored her 6 month contract to fit our needs. The closer we got to the wedding, the more in contact we were. It was absolute bliss to have someone so knowledgeable by our sides through everything. She also kept our priorities in check too - telling us “you can do this two months before the wedding, but start this now”

I can’t recommend her services more. You really can’t go wrong with Event Details by Edelina, she really is a friend in all the crazy that eventually becomes wedding planning.

Edelina Rose is an excellent wedding planner

Edelina Rose is the wedding planner every mother-of-the-bride should hire. Edelina was absolutely critical to the success of my daughter Hannah’s wedding at Great Marsh Estate in Bealeton, Virginia. She was highly organized, calm, professional, deeply detail oriented, and very pleasant to work with. For months before the wedding, we held regular virtual meetings. At each meeting Edelina walked us through an exhaustive checklist of “things to do.” No detail was too small. No detail was overlooked. Edelina’s skill and confidence took so much of the burden off me. She coordinated closely with the many wedding vendors, including the floral designer, caterer, the venue, the cake maker, the band and more. On the wedding day, Edelina and her assistant arrived early and stayed late. Edelina ensured all the details were executed perfectly. Knowing Edelina was overseeing all the moving parts, I was able to relax and enjoy my daughter’s special day.

Edelina was everything we were hoping for in a wedding consultant and MORE, and choosing her services was by far the best decision we made for our wedding day! Her services are worth every single penny! Edelina is incredibly personable, extremely detail-oriented, and goes above and beyond. Our monthly meetings with Edelina eased our anxiety leading up to the big day by giving us clear action steps, helping us to prioritize tasks, and supporting us to make decisions that were right for us; we always looked forward to meeting with her! Edelina’s wealth of knowledge and experience in the wedding industry helped us easily navigate the wedding planning process, and although she gave us many suggestions, she always reminded us that we ultimately had the final say for everything. Edelina was always looking out for us, from finding the best deals to triple checking everything in our contracts. We planned our wedding from across the country, and Edelina could not have been more accommodating to our schedule; when we were in town, she even made time to meet us for coffee on multiple occasions. Edelina came through for us over and over, from picking up our wedding cake that could not be delivered to adjusting her schedule last minute to attend our rehearsal when we found out we would not have a church coordinator a week before our wedding. At our reception, she always made sure we were enjoying ourselves and taken care of throughout the night. Edelina is experienced and truly reliable!

Edelina was such a great resource to help us plan our wedding. She reviewed all of our vendor contracts and pointed out any items that needed additional clarification or attention, provided us a detailed spreadsheet of action items which kept us organized and on track, and kept in constant communication with us and our vendors. She really took the last minute stress off of our shoulders so we could enjoy the time. Edelina went above and beyond her duties for us when our reception venue had last minute water damage. She stayed in constant contact with the venue getting updates on the repair status and even stopped by the venue and sent me pictures of the progress! Edelina and Stephanie did an excellent job setting up all of our reception decor and items, not one detail was overlooked. Edelina is truly an experienced professional and will think of things you would never have thought of otherwise! We would highly recommend hiring her for your wedding :)

Edelina Sets the Gold Standard for Wedding Service

Edelina was the definition of service and hospitality at my daughter’s wedding. The evening had zero problems despite some problems having actually arisen. Edelina quietly went about solving them and did so successfully. The wedding party didn’t even know about them til after all was over. She is professional, resourceful, on top of every little detail and an amazing problem-solver. Edelina truly is a model citizen for anyone in the wedding or service business. Working with Edelina was the Best Decision We Made

I am not normally someone who writes reviews, but this review was important to me, because working with Edelina was the best decision we made for our wedding. She is a problem solver, organized, and on top of everything. She was beyond gracious when we postponed our wedding 3 times between April 2020 and September 2021 due to COVID. She was the most organized of all our vendors and kept our other vendors organized, responding to emails within a few minutes at all times of day or night. We felt lost in the wedding planning process, and Edelina was always helpful, guiding us on next steps and timelines.

She went above and beyond more times than I can count. Our wedding went so smoothly, and we had no idea of some of the disasters Edelina helped us avoid: (1) there wasn't enough power in the tent for our photobooth, and she bought a generator for power the afternoon of the wedding, (2) we decided we wanted sparklers the week of the wedding and couldn't get any in time, and she had extra sparklers for us, and (3) the venue couldn't figure out how to switch on the lights in the tent, and she figured it out. As I said, everything went smoothly, and we had a perfect day, and we didn't even know about some of these issues because Edelina was so great about problem solving.

We know Edelina is excellent because we worked with another wedding planner before we signed on with Edelina. In comparison, Edelina is honest, positive, has a can-do attitude, and never let anything slip through the cracks. She even had another wedding the day before our wedding that we didn't know about, because Edelina made us feel like we were her only priority. I cannot emphasize enough how much Edelina stood out from other vendors in her excellent quality work, timeliness, and attention to detail.

Edelina is a loyal and funny person, and she takes her job extremely seriously. We always looked forward to our calls with her. We will be sad not to work with her as closely, and we could not more highly recommend her.

I cannot thank Edelina enough

I don’t even know where to start to thank Edelina for her patience, help and organization. She put in personal effort to ensure that our day was a success. When we had trouble getting people on base she ensured the buses did an extra run. She stayed late for our rehearsal she met with us on several occasions last minute and rescheduled appointments to our convenience. She sincerely helped us get through the planning process with a smile every time-even when I wasn’t smiling. She anticipated difficulties beforehand for us, she made it as organized as possible, and helped us put our touches on the event. I would highly recommend Edelina for any event you need planning!

Hire Edelina!

Hiring Edelina was one of the best decisions that we made in our wedding planning process. I only wish that I had hired her earlier! Her monthly tracking meetings were invaluable for keeping us on track and focused. Her experience in the wedding industry helped us navigate some tricky situations before they turned into crises. I am also grateful for her help in reviewing all of our contracts to make sure we didn't miss anything that one vendor might be requesting of another vendor.

On the day of, I appreciated knowing that she could work with all of the vendors and take care of the details. I was able to focus on getting ready, the event itself, and our guests. I am sure that she solved plenty of problems without me even knowing about it and the only items that came to my attention were those that needed my input. We got almost 30 minutes behind due to delaying the ceremony waiting for a key guest, and that kind of thing makes me lose my mind with stress. She knew the schedule backwards and forwards and helped us make decisions to keep everything on track without losing any moments of the wedding. It was also great that she could speak to my new in-laws in Spanish so that my partner or his sister (a bridesmaid) didn't have to always handle that.

Our wedding day was amazing, and I truly don't think it could have happened without Edelina.

Simple and Efficient

She was an integral part of our team, a consult, and constant adviser. We set up a google hangout call with her almost monthly leading up to the wedding where we discussed where we are in the buildup and what we need to focus on. She utilizes a multitude of tools to keep you on track and help ensure you are organized. Her years of experience give her such a good perspective on vendors and how to work through the items that come along with a wedding. Edelina is kind and compassionate and genuinely wants you to have your perfect wedding. The day of the event she was wonderful working with all the vendors, putting out any small fires we had, and ensured everyone had a good time while being in the background and not constantly asking questions. I am not sure where to begin, to explain how wonderful Edelina was. She was an integral part of our team, a consult, and constant adviser. We set up a google hangout call with her almost monthly leading up to the wedding. She utilizes a multitude of tools to keep you on track and help ensure you are organized. Her years in the industry lead to excellent recommendations of vendors and ways of doing things. Edelina is kind and compassionate and genuinely wants you to have your perfect wedding. The day of the event she was wonderful, she worked seamlessly between all vendors, put out any small fires we had, and made sure my entire family wanted for nothing. The Hardest Working Coordinator in the Business

Edelina is the hardest working Wedding Coordinator in the business. She wowed us with her amazing attention to detail. We had a check-in call with her every month to go over all of the details and to keep us on track. She even spent a lot of time in between those monthly calls, responding same day to e-mails and phone calls. Not once did she make us feel that she was not there for us. The day of the wedding went great because Edelina and her assistant kept on top of things and made sure everything went smooth. She was so good, I had to include her as a special "thank you" in my speech because she is that good. I wouldn't hesitate hiring her again - SHE TRULY IS A ROCKSTAR!!

Wonderful Wedding

I don’t think that there is a word in the dictionary to define Edelina short of "stellar!" She has developed and refined being a “wedding coordinator” down to a fine art! When you choose Edelina to handle an event for you – you have her full attention – she’s going do whatever it takes to ensure that it’s perfect! She was the wedding coordinator for my daughter’s wedding. I don’t know where we would have been without her involvement. She provided great suggestions when we initially discussed the wedding and themes; also providing excellent sources for the rental equipment, caterer and DJ. She was always there and responsive to us whenever we had a question. Her counseling and attention to our needs were met with professionalism, patience and sincerity. Edelina has many years of experience in her business and she knows exactly what she's doing. On the day of the wedding, Edelina arrived with her staff of three (which were also exceptional and worth hiring) who put the wedding and reception together beautifully with attention to every detail that we had discussed. Edelina and her staff worked together in complete rhythm, complementing one another. I enjoyed watching the wedding and reception areas come together and didn’t need to worry about a single thing. Edelina was simply amazing! She was everywhere ensuring things kept moving and were well-organized and did so with complete ease. Edelina is a very detail oriented person; the check sheets she provided were extremely helpful in keeping us up to date with the planning. No detail went unseen; no issue came up that she didn't have a solution or plan (and believe you me, things can come up at the last minute matter how organized you are.) Having Edelina manage the wedding was wonderful – we didn’t have to worry about a single thing and could completely enjoy the wedding and the guests. If you want to have a special event to go off without a hitch, then Edelina is the person that you want. Trust me, there is no one better!

I want to direct your attention to one of OUR failures. Edelina recommended that we have the entire wedding party stay in the same hotel; we, unfortunately didn't do as she suggested and the wedding party was at least 4 different locations. This failure made it much more difficult to coordinate getting the bridesmaid and groomsmen together for the photographer for "before" wedding photos of each group and with the bride and groom. Pulling the wedding party together was akin to "herding cats" (lol) but Edelina miraculously managed this challenge and pulled everyone together without disruption. The photographer never realized there could have been an issue. (Trust me, this is one suggestion I highly recommend you take heed!)

Most Valuable Vendor!

Edelina was the MVP of our wedding planning process! She helped us find vendors that fit into our budget and vision and saved us thousands of dollars. Edelina kept us on track throughout and made sure we were doing things on time. When prices were going up, sales were happening, or deadlines were approaching, she always made sure we knew. She set up new accounts to get vendor discounts when we were interested in a new place she hadn't used before. She was responsive, personable, and her help was extremely valuable!

The best decision for our wedding!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Edelina as our wedding coordinator. When we started the wedding planning process, we didn’t even have a vision for what we wanted. After several pinterest sessions, we decided we needed a coordinator ASAP because we had absolutely no idea how to pull off all the tiny details we imagined for our big day. Edelina was amazing! She was there for us every step of the way! From vendor suggestions, monthly tracking meetings, and what seemed like daily questions we had for her, she was always available to answer them quickly and confidently. She assisted us in finding our caterer, 2 bakers (the first one became pregnant and was unable to commit to our wedding, and Edelina helped us find an awesome backup), florist, DJ, and even my dress! She was able to work with the other vendors we found ourselves and coordinated with them seamlessly. The venue we picked was a bit nit-picky in their requirements, which Edelina handled in stride. She was able to answer all their questions and handle all their requirements with no issues, and ahead of their required schedule. Thanks to her coordination and organization, the week before our wedding my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy time with our family and friends that came into town for us instead of being bogged down with last minute details. Edelina also severed as our day of coordinator. Every detail that we planned was executed perfectly and our wedding day went flawlessly! I cannot recommend Edelina enough. Book Event Details By Edelina for Your Next Big Event!!

I can't recommend Edelina enough! She is kind, funny, well-organized, and even in high-stress situations, she stays calm, cool, and collected! Just what you want and need in a wedding planner!

Although we had a day-of coordinator assigned to us from our venue, I am SO thankful that we had Edelina there too! I know without a doubt that our wedding would not have been as seamless as it was, if she hadn't been there helping to orchestrate all the details--small and large.

Edelina even made our last minute (seriously last minute...like 10 hours before the wedding last minute!) request for dance-floor lighting happen, and she got us an amazing deal to boot! You'd expect the lighting just to be so-so for being so last minute, but it was fantastic and just what we had hoped.

Last, but definitely not least, ALL of the vendors Edelina recommended were amazing. Our florist (Le Chateau de Crystale) made my vision of a Fall wedding come to life, and our videographers (Compass Studios) were so friendly and fun, all the while remaining unobtrusive. She also helped us secure two amazing bands for wedding (The High and Wides) and Nightsong...we are STILL getting compliments on both!

All of this to say, please do yourself a favor and contact Event Details by Edelina when you're planning your big day! She made ours more perfect than we could have imagined, and we are so truly grateful for everything she and her team did for us!

Edelina made our wedding day flawless. There were so many blanks she filled in, fires she took out, and logistical problems that she solved with her cool, calm, and collected style. She is organized and has the highest attention to detail to fulfill our vision for both the ceremony and reception. There are so many little things that need to be taken care of to ensure the wedding day goes smoothly and flows well. I’m not high strung at all but I’m telling you, the day would have been sloppy, hectic and stressful without Edelina and her team. Edelina is a professional. From our first meeting, she let us know how things go down when you are planning your wedding - a monumental task! She systematically tracked our progress as we found vendors, signed contracts, and watched our budget. She always measured progress against our original goals and referred to them repeatedly. Perhaps one of the best aspects of her services was managing the details of all the contracts, a tedious task for most busy couples. She found vendors that offered excellent services of their own at very affordable prices, which she did through her top-rated network of caterers, djs, photographers, etc. As the big day approached, she kept on us to make sure we were making the necessary steps. Having our daughters wedding at the Torpedo Factory is not an easy task, it was open to the public until 5pm with a 6:30 wedding time. Edelina and her crew flipped the venue to a beautiful wedding. She has many contacts and knew all the great vendors. She really went above and beyond in accommodating requests before and during the wedding. I applaud her for a job well done!

Hiring Edelina was, hands down, the best decision I made. As a professional that it's in the business of planning complicated events, the first thing I look for is a person that draws upon their experience, anticipates all the details that can make or break your big day, and gives guidance and options for the best ways to manage them. I had elements of our wedding that no single vendor "owned" like a polaroid photobooth and guestbook, cigar station, placecards/favors, and a bunch of other small elements in our timeline that I literally did not worry about AT ALL on the day of my wedding. Edelina and her team managed the entire night seamlessly, from set up to tear down, and I cannot recommend her enough.

HIRE EDELINA! I recently got married in DC and while I wanted to control most things, I knew I needed a coordinator to help me manage all the details. Edelina pays extreme attention to detail, and scheduled regular calls to see where I was at, keeping a checklist to remind me when something needed to get done. She also responds to emails almost immediately--it's seriously impressive and puts a stressed brides mind at ease! Additionally she was able to recommend vendors, and any of those vendors I reached out to would all say the same thing--you picked an amazing wedding coordinator! A few weeks before my wedding I was distraught about not being able to find a reasonably priced calligrapher and Edelina immediately gave me recommendations within my budget. I cannot express how happy I am with her services.

I truly could not have imagined our wedding planning process without Edelina. We hired her as our Day of Coordinator about 11 months ahead of our wedding, but she was so, so much more than that. She is incredibly responsive to emails, phone calls, texts, and is so patient with even the most Type-A of brides (me!). She has amazing insights, vendor recommendations, ways to save money, and I don't know what I'm going to do now that I'm not emailing her every day! :) Most of our wedding vendors told me the day of the wedding that they've never had a wedding actually run on time and even early, she was absolutely the biggest blessing and I would recommend Edelina to absolutely anyone and everyone that is getting married. You need a coordinator, and you certainly NEED Edelina!

Edelina was great in helping me find some miscellaneous vendors, but her real value came on the day of my wedding. Unbeknownst to us, the venue coordinator (i.e., the person in charge of the venue, not Edelina) had told the caterer to come two hours later than had been planned -- and neither the venue coordinator nor the caterer had seen fit to tell either Edelina or myself. So poor Edelina and her crew were stuck setting up all by themselves and wondering where the heck the caterer was. Thank goodness that I had taken Edelina up on her suggestion to hire two additional staff through her, because we definitely needed them! But to Edelina's credit, no one could tell that both the caterer + staff and bartender were super late. Long story short, it was invaluable to have her on the day of. And also the prices for her services are ridiculously good for the DMV area. It's so worth it, because something WILL go wrong on the day of!

Initially, we were not sure if we wanted a planner at all, but in the end we decided to retain the services of a "day of planner" after several friends recommended it. We scoured the wedding sites and all paths led to Edelina. Deciding to hire Edelina was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. In addition to day of services, Edelina provided a incredible, thoughtful advice on everything from seat arrangements to decorations. She is incredibly organized and knowledgable. She was also very flexible with meeting us and was always available when we reached out. On the day of our wedding, everything went off without a hitch. Edelina worked well with our caterers, families and guests. If there were any issues, we were not aware of them. Neither of us can imagine what it would have been like to plan this wedding without Edelina's help. We feel lucky to have had her assistance on what could have been - but was not - an incredibly stressful process.

Edelina and her team were wonderful! They took care of everything down to the last detail. Edelina supervised the rehearsal, made sure everyone was where they should be for the ceremony. Her team jumped in to prepare the tables when the caterer was late and to clean up when the bartender didn't. She supervised the rentals (tables, chairs, etc) flowers, games coming in and made sure everything was set up as it was supposed to be. She made sure the caterers had the food out on time and kept the whole event on schedule.She is very professional and calm when things get hectic. Everything ran very smoothly thanks to her and her team. I am not sure what we would have done without her! I would use her again without hesitation. If you don't want to think about a thing during an event, Edelina is the person to go to.

We definitely required a lot of her - we had two ceremonies in one day and there was a parade happening in the city on the same day as our wedding. She was able to execute everything we asked of her and more. She's very responsive to emails, professional, and thoughtful. My venue told me I didn't need a coordinator and in hindsight, there's no way I didn't need Edelina. I could not have enjoyed my wedding day without her ensuring that the run of show went as planned. I wouldn't think twice about hiring her again. Highly recommend.

I can't begin to express how Edelina's experience, confidence, leadership and friendship led to an extraordinary wedding and reception that my guests will not soon forget. From my initial contact with Edelina I felt at ease because she certainly had the experience, but upon getting to know her I learned that she has the best personality, is committed to the process and has a fierce work ethic. Edelina was totally responsive from beginning to end (when I say responsive I'm not talking about response with in 24 businesses hours, I'm talking about responses within minutes)...I would often send very early morning emails and to my surprise I would receive early morning responses since she too was working! Edelina went above and beyond by volunteering to do extra things like pick up my bouquets or picking up my sparklers (just because it was 4th of July and of all things she as thinking about sparklers for my sparkler send off!) My guests, interestingly enough, commented on how organized everything was and that everything flowed nicely. This is thanks to Edelina. Edelina was on top of it from the morning the wedding started until the very end. She left no stone unturned. Part of her job was to pack up all of our belongings and load up our designated vehicles, and let me assure you that absolutely nothing was left behind! And we had a ton of stuff! The wedding was absolutely flawless - Edelina is really a well organized and assertive Wedding Planner. She knows what needs to be done and how to get in there to get it done. I was even impressed with random things that she knew about DJ sounds systems, event lighting etc. I'm telling you, she has a lot of knowledge on a lot of areas as it pertains to managing a large scale event! We thank you so much! I'm on my way to the airport for honeymoon but did not want to depart without leaving this review. Our day was everything we hoped it would be and we are so very pleased with Edelina. She's a total sweetheart!

Working with Edelina was a great experience. She is exactly what you want in a wedding planner. She's organized! Throughout the entire process, she knew exactly what needed to get done and gave us clear, realistic advice about how to do it. She's experienced! She was able to anticipate any problems we might have both beforehand and during the ceremony. She's accommodating! We were doing a lot of the wedding planning from a distance, but she was able to work around our schedule. She met us when we were in town, and when we weren't, she responded to emails quickly and even jumped on Skype to chat with us. She listens! From start to finish, she makes it clear that this is your wedding. She doesn't run the show. You do. Our wedding celebration went off without a hitch! I contacted Edelina to help me plan my daughter's wedding ceremony on short notice. Edelina was prompt to return my correspondence, answer all my questions and met with us in person to discuss our vision. Since we did not have a rehearsal prior to the wedding, Edelina organized a quick run through when we got to the Chapel, first with the bridal party, then with the groom and groomsman. We had a very tight timeline and Edelina's organization and direction kept us on task from beginning to end. The wedding was incredible, better than I could have imagined. I highly recommend Edelina and her services as a wedding planner.

Edelina did a fabulous job and really went above and beyond! She would check in regularly, and had the best timeline and budget trackers. The officiant of our wedding didn't have the reading that we wanted, so she found an office and printed it for us to give to him the day of, which was a huge life-saver. 100% recommend her!

Edelina is a wonderful planner. She was the first vendor we booked, and we are so glad! She offers several flexible packages for all budgets, as well as depending on how much planning support you need.

Edelina helped us find our venue, caterer, officiant, DJ, photographer, videographer, cake baker, and hair stylist. We also rented our centerpiece vases from her. Of course, you could find your own vendors as well, which I did for our florist and makeup artist, and she'll reach out to them to coordinate the logistics so that everything goes smoothly without you having to worry about it.

On the day of, she decorated our aisles and reception tables, distributed our final payments to our vendors, and kept us on schedule. Our wedding came in under budget and ahead of schedule, and neither would have been possible without her! Even if your venue comes with a coordinator, as ours did, it's just so great to have someone on your side, taking care of issues before they're escalated to you.

We would gladly recommend her for any other couple looking to get assistance for their wedding.

Edelina is absolutely fabulous. We originally hired her for "reception only" but we were so impressed by her we upgraded our service. Edelina understood our low-key and whimsical vibe which was really important to us but she also clearly had experience with all other kinds of weddings - which was fabulous b/c she had brilliant ideas that we never would have thought of on our own. And she is incredibly organized so you don't have to worry about something slipping through the cracks with her. Edelina is also able to gently get you to figure out all the details without making you feel overwhelmed at the amount of work ahead. She made everything so easy and simple before the wedding with her helpful charts and responsiveness to questions/concerns, too.
Edelina charmed all of our vendors - she foresaw and handled any and all things that could go wrong w/vendors (like DJ set up, arrival times, etc.) long before the wedding day.
And the day of the wedding she was brilliant. We had a few unpleasant surprises/issues the day of but Edelina was already fixing the issue before we had time to worry about it.
Hiring Edelina was the BEST decision we made for our wedding. Hands down.

When I met Edelina at a good friends wedding a year prior to our engagement I was blown away on how amazing and professional she was. When Stephen and I became engaged, we also quickly realized we had little knowledge of all the itty bitty details that goes into wedding planning. It was a no brainer to hire her and her expertise!

Edelina was always either a text or email away for ANYTHING, no matter how early or late in the day it was. We met several times to see where we were with our planning. She had a spreadsheet to keep us all on track and organized leading up to our big day! She worked extremely hard to make sure that we were understanding all our of contracts (helped review before we signed), found the best "deals" for everything down to the name place cards, and was just a great person to bounce ideas off of.

Edelina was also my day of coordinator and I can not thank her enough for making our day PERFECT and without a glitch. It rained as they were setting up the ceremony so she came to me and asked if we should move it inside and see if the rain passed. Everything was moved in, then the sun came out and she came back to me and asked what to do. I said "Is it possible to move back outside?" She replied, "Of course!" Edelina worked with the venue hand in hand throughout the evening all the way to the final clean up after our fairytale wedding!

I would recommend Edelina to any bride who wants professional and personable service!

Edelina was great as our "day of" coordinator. I use quotes because she was much more than that. When we first met with her she had reviewed all of our vendor contracts and pointed out the details in each that she would need to confirm met the conditions of all the other contracts. She also had a sample schedule from a recent wedding she had coordinated at our venue, and a checklist for us. She later created a spreadsheet for us to keep track of all of our vendor payments and their due dates, worked with us to generate a detailed schedule for the wedding weekend as well as the wedding day (our wedding party was so thankful!), and provided a standard shot list for us to use as a jumping off point to provide to our photographer. She was in regular email contact with us throughout the months leading up to the wedding, following up on anything she still needed from us and giving us any pertinent updates from our vendors. All of this was well before the day of and extremely helpful. On the day of, Edelina called us to warn of traffic conditions, and coordinated our arrivals at the venue, as well as the arrivals of all our vendors. She had an amazing bride kit (I had made one for myself as well but hers was way better. We definitely tapped into the bug spray and razor!) and just generally kept things moving so we didn't have to think about anything. She handled all final payments, set up of our thank you gifts, worked with the photographers to coordinate group shots, etc. All this and she was the most reasonably priced coordinator we contacted! Edelina was wonderful! We booked her as our "Day of Coordinator" but the amount of love and attention she gave us throughout our process really made us feel like we had her helping us much longer than just the day. She coordinates and plans with her heart and really wants to make sure your day goes as you want it to. She went above and beyond for us. One example of this is when I completely forgot to buy the sparklers for our sparkler exit, remembering only 2 days before and not having time to go and get any myself, in a sheer panic I just cancelled the sparkler exit all together.... until Edelina went out of her way, and took it into her hands to make sure we got the sparklers. She found them online in a day, picked them up for us and brought all of the materials with her so we could have the sparkler exit we wanted. We felt so loved on this day, and Edelina was one of those people we felt it from! Thank you for your hard work and kindness, Edelina!

Edelina is absolutely amazing! She is professional, organized, responsive, patient, and a fantastic negotiator (not to mention a sometime miracle worker). I can't imagine our wedding without her. She met with us several times and had a lot of great suggestions. Plus, she really helped us keep our wedding on budget. We are SO unbelievably grateful that we found Edelina to serve as our Day of Coordinator. She was invaluable to us and helped us more than we ever could have imagined! She met with us multiple times and stayed in constant contact with us throughout our planning process. We were so impressed with how helpful and organized she was. She was patient with us and provided great suggestions when we were unsure about things. She also seemed to remember every detail of our contracts/timeline and she had all of them organized in a binder to double check if needed. We felt comfortable with her from the moment we met and felt completely secure leaving our wedding in her hands! On our wedding day she was always on top of everything and she helped keep us on track (even though we started late). Any issue was resolved with little to no interruption to our day and several of our guests commented on how helpful and professional she was. We’d give her all the stars in the universe if we could!

I would highly recommend Event Details by Edelina for anyone who is looking for some extra help with their wedding (or any event!). My budget was tight and I couldn't afford to have help planning the entire wedding, but for the day of I needed some assistance making sure everything was executed according to my plan. Edelina was always available to give feedback and advice leading up to the advice and even went as far as picking up and dropping off speakers for me that I needed to rent! She found me nearly all of my vendors (DJ, etc) for great prices and was seriously a fountain of knowledge throughout the whole process. She helped me so much on the wedding day- arriving ahead of schedule with two servers. She was not only professional throughout the process, but also very kind. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars!!! I contacted Edelina from a different site, but was so pleased to find her. From the beginning, she was so resourceful, providing advice on every detail of my wedding such as, a sample schedule, where to find products for less, an on site planner the day of, and a server. In the end I paid for the on site planner and 1 server, but the constant advice was complementary. Her guidance helped make my wedding planning process run more smoothly. Events by Edelina was my day-of wedding planner, but Edelina Rose (the owner) was so much more than that. She did a great job of assessing my needs for several months before my wedding, and she assisted me every time I asked her to, plus all the times she thought I might need some help and didn't realize it. I was so lucky to find such a perfect fit with a wedding planner. When the big day came, if anything went wrong, I didn't know about it. Maybe nothing went wrong. Regardless, Edelina took care of it! Working with Edelina was an all-around great experience.

We hired Edelina to be the DOC for our 100-person, same-sex, church-hall, largely DIY wedding reception in September. We also hired several of her staff to set up the hall, receive food from the caterer and serve it buffet-style, arrange presentation of several types of desserts, and take care of clean-up.

In the several months throughout the wedding planning, Edelina was extremely accessible for questions and recommended several other vendors to us, including our fantastic bartender.

On the day itself, Edelina did a phenomenal job! She and her staff went above and beyond, including set-up and clean-up projects that took longer than anticipated, and rolled with everything. She coordinated the timing and direction of several live musical performances, including a band, and handled both professional catering and family-provided food with energy and care. She and her staff ran what could have been a chaotic kitchen with military precision. The wedding went off without a hitch and was very 'us' - thank you, Edelina!
