My husband and I knew we wanted a special celebration for our wedding that truly represented us and the people we love, but we didn’t have a clear vision for how to bring it all together. From our very first conversations, Mariela took the time to really understand who we are, what mattered most to us, and the feeling we wanted our wedding to have. She translated that into something even more beautiful and meaningful than we could have imagined.
Mariela connected us with incredible vendors and worked with the Etero Event team to plan a wedding that felt so authentically “us.” The result was unbelievably beautiful, perfectly organized, and genuinely one of the most fun nights of our lives. Everything ran so smoothly that we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment with our family and friends.
Throughout the entire process, I rarely felt stressed or uneasy because I trusted Mariela and the Etero Event team completely. They were thoughtful, responsive, detail-oriented, and always one step ahead. Having that level of trust made the experience not only seamless but also truly enjoyable.

Best day of our lives thanks to Mariela!
Mariela was the best wedding planner we could’ve wished for. From day one we connected personally and she understood our vision. She’s very attentive, organized and super easy going. We loved that she uses aisle planner, a one stop shop for all info of our wedding. All vendors she recommended were aligned with our budget, vision and even on a personal level we connected with all of them. On wedding day, we were not anxious or stressed at all since we were 100% comfortable knowing that Mariela and her team had everything under control. Her attention to detail on our wedding day was incredible and our guests even commented on it, from fixing the bride’s shoes, fixing the maid of honor’s dress, to making sure we always had a drink in hand without visiting the bar. We would recommend Mariela over and over. -

Mariela was amazing from start to finish, once we started talking with her we knew that she was going to plan our wedding and we called her in march and our wedding was in august and she never hesitated and told us that it was possible. We are very grateful for her since she made our day the best ever. Every thought and everything that we told her was made lo life and exceeded our expectations. Working with Mariela was one of the best decisions we ever made for our wedding. From our very first meeting, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day everything we dreamed of and she delivered beyond anything we could have imagined.
She was always there — constantly checking in, quick to respond to every message, and somehow always one step ahead of us. No detail was too small, no request too much. Her patience, professionalism, and ability to keep everything running smoothly gave us such peace of mind throughout the entire process.
But what meant the most to us is that she didn’t just plan our wedding — she became a part of it. By the end of the journey, she truly felt like a friend. She celebrated with us, supported us, and cared for our day like it was her own.

Mariela is attentive, detailed, professional, honest, and incredibly responsive (and if she couldn't respond she would immediately let us know). The vendors that work with her have SO much respect for her and what she does for her clients. From the very beginning, Mariela was on top of everything! If we wanted it, she found a way to make it happen. If she didn't believe it would work, or had better ideas she was quick to tell us! I trusted Mariela completely and not once did she let us down.
We had a long engagement with some bumps along the way. I truly believe my wedding would not have been what it was if we didn't have Mariela on our side. In the beginning, something really important fell through for us. Mariela was right there calming me down, talking to who she knew, and immediately fixed someone else's mistake which turned everything around for us. During the actual day, Mariela was there covering any issues or hiccups with grace and professionalism, going above and beyond what she was even required to do. Her level of dedication goes beyond just a "job". She cares so deeply about her clients and her work and it shows. I could go on and on about my experience, but I will never be able to accurately explain the feeling of knowing everything will work out because of her. The day was perfect precisely because we had Mariela with us, and we will spend the rest of our lives singing her praise. -

As a queer Puerto Rican couple planning one of the most meaningful days of our lives, we were met with warmth, care, and a level of thoughtfulness that left us in awe. Mariela didn’t just plan our wedding, she held our vision with such intention and grace, and turned it into a reality more beautiful than we could’ve ever imagined.
Her professionalism and calm, steady presence were unmatched. Even as she navigated our different time zones (California and Puerto Rico!) and our completely different personalities, Mariela somehow managed to meet us more than halfway, always making us feel supported and understood. She truly listened, adapted, and brought our dream to life with so much heart.
Every detail was handled with love. Every decision felt intentional. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Mariela Fernandez with Etereo Events was wonderful to work with. She assisted us with our destination wedding Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party in San Juan, PR. Her calm and sweet demeanor makes working with her for such a special event enjoyable. It is stressful when planning from afar, but trust me, you will not have to worry when working with her! She guided us through the selection process for venues, transportation, food, drinks, flowers and decor with her incredible attention to detail and flawless execution. All her recommendations were excellent choices. She is an expert at what she does. She happily takes care of everything. We had so many compliments on how beautiful the evening was, it could not have gone more smoothly. Trust me, hire her and you will not be disappointed!! -

Magical ceremony in Tuscany, IT
Mariela was more than just our wedding planner—she was a true partner throughout the entire journey. We went back and forth on so many details, from the style of the ceremony to even the country, and she was there every step of the way with endless patience and understanding.
When we finally decided on an intimate elopement in the heart of Tuscany, Mariela turned our vision into a reality more beautiful than we ever imagined. Every detail was perfect, and the day felt magical.
Having her plan my sister’s wedding too, we knew we were in the best hands. We’re beyond grateful to Mariela for making our dream day come true!

Wonderful vow renewal ceremony at the beach
Thanks to Mariela and her team we had a perfect wedding. She organized everything perfectly and always kept us informed. We come from Germany and after 10 years we said yes to each other again in Puerto Rico. It was fantastic and everything was perfectly organized. From the speech (thanks to Jennifer) to the flowers, the beautiful beach and the great photos. We got married again with our feet in the water and will never forget this moment. Amazing planning, amazing wedding
Mariela was great to work with! She understood our vision from the first day and made sure that we kept on track throughout the planning process. She brings to the table a great vendor network and a straightforward consultative approach. Both myself and my husband had different requirements at different points and she balanced everyone’s priorities beautifully. This was also a wedding involving three cultures and many traveling from abroad. Since the wedding, many of our friends and families have told us that our wedding raised the bar moving forward. Mariela knew what we wanted and was able to deliver the exact experience and for that we thank her! 10/10 -

3 week Elopement
As soon as I first spoke with Mariela I knew she was the planner for us! She was attentive, a great listener, & above all, patient. I told her what we were looking for and she made it happen, in only 3 short weeks! Mariela was a very sweet and calm as my wedding planner who knew exactly who to suggest as my vendors. Her decisions were based on the heart, which was important to me through all this, and not just a rate. Through a pandemic, I will say it was very difficult for a lot of vendors, including Mariela, to be super attentive and get back to me with a few things; however, we planned early enough that once the time got closer and the pandemic was over, my wedding was her only priority. There were a lot of mishaps and changes in events, and she gave me peace of mind through it all. There were no language barriers, and everything was followed through a website we could both work off. The wedding day came, and everything went perfectly. She was there whenever I needed her, and my family said everything went smoothly. She even gave me, the bride, a few surprises throughout the wedding which I will never forget. She still did a favor or two for me even after the wedding. If patience and love are important to you, shed be a great fit! I would just be mindful if its a busy wedding season for PR. -
