  Erin is a perfect sunflower

  I don't know where to begin with Erin. Her talent is unmatched, and we are so beyond incredibly happy with the way that our fall wedding photos turned out. Not only is Erin a wicked talented photographer, she is a genuinely great person. When we met up for the first time to get a feel for what she offered, my husband and I knew right then and there that we had to have Erin be a part of our big day. She presented her package options without trying to sell us on them so it was more like we were old friends meeting for coffee and excitedly talking about wedding planning. Her ease and 'go with the flow' mentality are definitely something we valued on easily one of the most stressful weekends of our lives. Our photos turned out beautifully and I cannot recommend her loud enough!

  Erin hannum is fantastic

  Erin is not only an amazing photographer but made our day even more special! She is funny, prompt, flexible and captured our day perfectly! We had so much fun during the bride and groom portraits & our family loved her!

  Perfection!!!

  I had the privilege of having Erin photograph mine and my husband's reception this past fall. Being a wedding photographer myself, it was no easy task to pick a photographer for our party (there are SO many options out there!!!!!) but I was not let down by my choice to go with Erin. Her moody style and photo journalistic approach is what drew me in and I was so happy that she was available to photograph our day. She captured all the best moments between us and our family and friends - along with some great Detroit portraits that I've already printed out and hung in my home. I am so lucky to have these photographs to look back on as the years go by and I HIGHLY recommend Erin to anyone looking for a down to earth, talented photographer to capture your day!

  Our pictures are so dang DREAMY. From our first meeting with Erin, we knew we were going to work with her. She can't help but be genuine and it is so refreshing! Erin didn't flinch when we told her we wanted to hang out around a bonfire in our backyard with our dog for our engagement pictures (even with getting lots of sloppy puppy kisses!). On our wedding day, we just wanted to celebrate with our friends and family in between our ceremony and reception. Erin was able to efficiently get our formal shots done (for our moms!) so we could go celebrate. Then throughout the day she got meaningful, emotion filled shots without over-posing or being obtrusive. Erin even gave us a ride to our reception so we could let our bridal party head to cocktail hour in our party bus early. She balances professionalism with being FUN so effortlessly. Spend your day enjoying the moment with your friends/family and let Erin capture the magic!!

  When I first opened Erin's blog and saw her photos, I said "ohhhh" out loud. I fell in love with her romantic, unposed style, her use of light, and the obvious heart in each and every one of her photographs. I read about her philosophy and approach to wedding photography, and knew right away that this was the person I wanted to capture our wedding day. We scheduled an engagement shoot so that we could get to know each other before the wedding, but I didn't need to worry: Erin is warm, sweet, funny and so totally genuine, it's impossible not to be at ease with her. All three of us giggled nonstop as we traipsed through the woods together during our engagement shoot, chasing light and wandering off the beaten path to find just the right spots for photos. I'm so glad we decided to do it, though, because our engagement photos could not be more beautiful. We've gotten so many compliments on them, and for me, they take my breath away whenever I look at them. I was so nervous about wedding photos due to lifelong struggles with body image and a tendency to freeze and panic when there's a camera nearby, but Erin has a way of bringing out the love and light in her subjects so easily that you don't even realize she's doing it. She knows how to balance taking the time to accomplish everything you want with making sure you're not late to your own party, and even in the midst of the chaos of the day, she was able to create quiet spaces to capture sweet, intimate photos of me and my new husband. At the reception she always seemed to be right there when we were looking for her, but never obtrusive in the slightest otherwise (I hardly knew she was there!). We haven't gotten our photos back yet, but I already know they'll be beautiful; our friends and family can't stop exclaiming over the preview shots Erin posted on social media. Erin is an organized, responsive, compassionate, thoughtful, and a complete delight as a photographer. We can't recommend her highly enough.

Erin made us feel totally comfortable throughout the entire process. Our photos truly reflected not only our individual personalities, but our personality as a couple.   We can't say enough about how pleased we were with Erin on our wedding day. She is such a breath of fresh air, and made us feel so comfortable taking pictures. She encouraged our love for one another and caught our most special moments. Erin goes above and beyond to find the right angles, and best areas and she is SO accommodating. And she gives you your photos SUPER FAST and offers sneak previews leading up to the delivery! She is a true talent and wonderful to work with. We plan to use her for all our future milestones in life that we want to capture!

  Above and Beyond!

Our family & friends (and of course my husband and I) were absolutely blown away by how perfectly Erin captured our wedding day. Erin was so wonderful to work with leading up to the wedding with all of my questions and concerns I had on the timeline, photo locations, etc and always offered the best input and advice. Erin has a knack for capturing the most subtle, yet special, moments between two people (myself and my husband, my best friend and I, my father and I) through her photos. I have looked through our photo album at least 50 times since our wedding day one month ago and every time I do, all of the feelings I felt on that day come rushing back to the surface - it feels like I'm right there reliving the best day of my life all over again. I'm so glad that I had the honor to work with Erin on our wedding day and would absolutely recommend her to other couples! Thank you, Erin

  We absolutely LOVED working with Erin! She is so sweet and thoughtful and goes above and beyond in every way! She captured such incredible photos that we will cherish forever and she can even put together a photo album you won't believe!!! We wanted someone we could trust to capture the day in an organic, natural, romantic way and she exceeded all expectations! She has such an amazing eye and brings such creative, lovely energy and quality into everything she does!
