If you are looking for your wedding photographer: stop. You’ve found him. Erik was hands-down our favorite vendor, and I would hire him a thousand times over. From the very first message, his energy, warmth, and passion for his work stood out. When we compared full galleries from other photographers, his absolutely blew us away with every detail, every candid, every bit of light and color was exactly what I envisioned. My dad (a longtime advertising professional) reviewed them too and said, “You’d be crazy not to hire this guy.” He was right.
Working with Erik felt effortless. Our engagement session could have been a stressful day, but he and his second shooter, Ross, rolled with everything, made it fun, and delivered stunning images so quickly we were able to use them in our wedding décor and guest book. By the time the wedding came, we felt completely comfortable in front of the camera and Erik felt like another close friend in our bridal party. He was calm, reassuring, and so easy to be around. If I had a question or needed grounding, he was right there with gentle guidance.
The final gallery? Absolutely flawless. Every big, emotional moment. Every quiet, unspoken glance. Every little detail I didn’t even notice in real time, all preserved with such artistry that I can relive our day exactly as it felt, only better. Erik has an uncanny gift for being everywhere without ever intruding, for making people feel at ease, and for capturing the heart of a moment in a single frame. My family, my bridal party, even my guests still talk about him weeks later, not just about his photos, but about him. He’s more than a photographer; he’s a calming presence, a joy to be around, and a true master of his craft. In every lifetime, in every version of this story, I would choose Erik. Booking him was one of the best decisions we made for not only our wedding day, but for the rest of our lives we’ll thankfully have his work! I will forever be grateful that it was him behind the camera on the most important day of our lives. -

Best of the best!
We are not from the area so the first time we officially met Erik was the day of our wedding. From the moment we met, Erik’s energy was calm and confident. I can’t think about my perfect day without thinking about how incredible he was. As soon as he arrived, the energy in the room lifted. He was funny, cracking jokes and also very focused in the details. Without even realizing it—or maybe he did—he helped me carry the mental load of the day. It felt like he knew his role was more than just capturing beautiful photos. He reminded me to be present, to breathe, and to truly live in each moment. He also went with the flow and made any and all of my requests happen like taking photos yards away or running up flights of stairs for that perfect picture. And let me just say—it was 100 degrees outside. Yet there he was, juggling multiple cameras and bags, fanning my dress, offering me his personal fan, and handling all the little things that only someone who is a true master of their craft would even think to do. Choosing Erik as our photographer was, hands down, one of the best decisions we made. He is truly one of a kind. My husband and I are incredibly grateful for his time and are honored to have had him photograph our day. -

From the moment we first spoke with Erik, we knew he was the perfect photographer for our wedding. His friendly and passionate personality immediately put us at ease, and his professionalism shone through every step of the way. Erik's work is truly exceptional - the photos he captured are authentic, beautiful, expressive, emotive, and elegant. He had amazing ideas for poses and shots that resulted in stunning, one-of-a-kind images that we will cherish forever. Erik made our wedding day incredibly fun and joyful, keeping us laughing and smiling the entire time. His efficient and organized approach ensured the photo portion of the day went seamlessly. We are beyond thrilled with the work Erik did and cannot recommend him highly enough for any couple looking for a truly talented and wonderful wedding photographer.
Erik was so great to work with right from the start. I could tell right off the bat just through email that he was so passionate about the work that he does. He also showed so much excitement to get the opportunity to capture our special day. He was very professional and thorough when communicating with us. Our engagement photo session was SO fun, and my husband and I both immediately felt comfortable with Erik. He is so friendly and so easy to work with. Getting pictures taken like that with a significant other can feel awkward, but Erik made it anything but that! It felt very natural and enjoyable, and it felt the exact same way on our wedding day. Where to even begin! I cannot recommend Erik enough-he truly is the best!! His light and airy style was exactly what I was looking for when it came to our wedding photos. The passion he has for photography and energy make him stand out amongst other photographers. He made us feel comfortable, and brought out a side of us we didnt know was there! He is hilarious, and help get rid of all the nerves. He brought my vision to life, and I could not be more thankful for him and his work. We are beyond lucky to have found the most awesome photographer to capture our wedding! His personality, professionalism, and creative eye was everything we didn't even know we were looking for. He gave us 120% all day and was the most fun to work with. He gets into his work in a fun and unique way that makes you feel completely comfortable, and is able to bring out sides of you that you had no idea you even had... capturing the fun, emotional, and even spicy photos that you'll cherish for a lifetime. A Sincere Thank You Erik!
Erik's work is absolutely stunning! It's so airy and bright, seriously go look for yourself! He has done our engagement and has given us a sneek peek at our wedding photos so far and if all I had from our wedding was just those 4 photos my heart would be content! They are gorgeous!! Erik is phenomenal! Not only does he shoot amazing, high quality photos, but I had multiple guests from my wedding come up to us specifically to tell us how great Erik was and how they loved having him as our photographer. The only complaint I have is that I now have TO MANY amazing shots to just pick a few favorites! If you want a photographer willing to think out of the box and make your day special this is the man for the job. -

Erik Anderson was absolutely amazing to work with. When I first got engaged I was very nervous about finding a photographer. My venue had featured him on their Instagram page and I was in love with his work and knew right away he would be our photographer. He captured our day beautifully. His energy throughout the day was fantastic. He had all the guests laughing during pictures and made everyone feel very comfortable. Erik photographed my daughter's wedding and I was so impressed by his work that I called him for mine. He went over everything with us on a conference call about 6 months prior and answered every question we had. About a month ahead, he sent a questionnaire for us to fill out to make sure he would capture everything we were wanting. He is tons of fun to work with, arrived right on time and followed through with every shot we wanted. We had our digital photos a month later and they are spectacular. We couldn't be more pleased. Ours was a non-traditional wedding and he magically captured the essence of our day! -

I've never worked with a photographer before so I didn't know what to expect. However, Erik was incredible. I hate having my picture taken and when I saw the results of his work, I was stunned at how beautiful everything looked! I want pictures of my wedding displayed all over my home and office! I would hire him again if I needed another photographer.
His vision, insight, suggestions, ease and sense of humor made the whole pre-wedding pictures an truly enjoyable experience. He kept an open mind and asked for suggestions and even caught some very intimate moments without being a distraction.
I would recommend Erik for ANY event!!! -

Erik is the best!
Erik is worth every penny! First off he is super down to earth, he never makes any photos feel uncomfortable or unnatural. Erik always keeps you laughing our entire wedding party had an absolute BLAST working with Erik. Tons of them asked for his info so they can use him later on. Most importantly, the wedding photos we received are drop dead gorgeous he put everything he had into making them look absolutely perfect. If I could I would cover all the walls of our home with them! Don’t think twice hire Erik! -

Quick review-
My Husband and I LOVED Erik Anderson Photography and our wedding photos! If you’re looking for light airy romantic candid photos - he IS the photographer. He responds and edits the photos quickly plus he was fun to be around on our wedding day. He is very present on social media which made it easier for us to post and share!
Erik is someone who truly enjoys photographing weddings and it shows. There are so many moments he caught of of us that show how beautiful and loving our day was!
Long review-
We prioritized our photos/photographer as high as our venue so we knew we must love the photography style of who we chose! We signed with Erik two years in advance and he was responsive and friendly the whole time. My husband and I both loved his editing style and the way he captures couples.
I was hesitant to take engagement photos (I didn’t think they were necessary) but they were worth it. We met with him and realized we chose the right person to capture our moments on our special day. He was easy to work with and he drove to us (probably an hour away) for our engagement pics! He posted teasers within a day and the full album within weeks!
On our wedding day he was prompt, funny and “like another bridesmaid/groomsman”. He likes to have fun, joke with everyone, and help out if needed as well as professionally capture the important events throughout the day. My husband and I felt as though we hired our friend to follow us around. You can tell by his excitement after taking that “wow” photo of you two how enthusiastic he is about his work!
Just like our engagement photos, he edited and posted our wedding photos less than a month later! He captured a beautiful “wow” landscape photo with us, our raw moments when we opened our gifts/letters, and everything in between!
We are so happy we chose Erik and have these wonderful photos to look back on (let’s be honest I look at them every day) AND he’s starting to photograph family sessions which is perfect for couples after their wedding! ;) -

Great to Work With!
Erik was the perfect choice for us. Our personalities were a hit from the start, he really listened to what we wanted, more importantly, what we didn't want. He was able to be flexible based on our needs and budget. He was professional, timely and focused on US (not in-laws, aunts, grandparents, etc.). Erik is awesome, down to earth, entertaining and his photography skills are just amazing. All of his photos are light and airy and no matter the scenery he is given he will make it look like it belongs in Vogue! I was having such a hard time picking a photographer until I saw Eriks photos and the first one I saw I was hooked! He keeps the time rolling, mood light and can turn a ugly background into a masterpiece. If you choose Erik as your photographer you will not be disappointed. Everyone is always commenting on how amazing our photos are! And a little extra he usually gives a sneak peak photo as well!!

Couldn’t be happier!
Erik photographed my engagement photos and wedding - both of which came out 1000x better than I expected. His lighting style is breathtaking, creating enchanting photos that captured the essence of our special day perfectly. He did a marvelous job capturing candid moments (which was a priority to my husband and I), preserving the genuine emotions and joy that radiated from us and our guests. What truly touched my heart was his understanding and consideration of how to angle plus size bodies. As a plus size bride, I was worried about how the physical representations of our memories would portray me but I had no reason to worry. Erik made me feel incredibly comfortable and confident.
The number one thing we’ve heard back from our guests is that they didn’t even know Erik was there - while referencing candid photos of themselves! He has an incredible ability to blend into the background, capturing countless memories while hardly being noticed by our guests. This allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding without feeling constantly in the spotlight. If you're looking for a photographer who combines artistic talent, sensitivity, and an unobtrusive presence, Erik is the one! -
