Erica is the BEST!!

Could not recommend Erica enough! We started working with Erica in late 2019 to plan our destination wedding in Vail, Colorado in September 2021. She was invaluable when we were selecting vendors (she gave great recommendations and helped us select a venue while we were living on the East Coast and unable to visit Colorado due to COVID) and she was invaluable down to the tiny details of the wedding (like place cards and table cloth colors). She answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly, and she's incredibly kind, friendly, and easy to work with. Erica was also so great at reassuring us that we were on track and that there was no need to stress. When we encountered little hiccups throughout the process, she was great at explaining our options & providing her opinion on the best way forward (which was really helpful with all the COVID restrictions constantly changing). If there were any issues on the actual wedding day, we had no clue about them.
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to her, and I cannot imagine having to plan a wedding without her!!

Mother of Bride

My daughter's wedding was 10 days ago and I still cannot stop thinking about how beautiful every detail was.... Erica was amazing at helping my daughter take her visualizations and create reality. Erica suggested amazing vendors - each one was top notch. Erica managed every aspect of the planning, rehearsal and "day of" and nothing was overlooked. We had some major twists and turns along our planning process, with one being a Covid postponement and another an unforeseen family tragedy a couple of months before the wedding. Erica handled everything with grace, calmness and professionalism. .. ESW also did our flowers and they were STUNNING..... Highly recommend as I truly was a guest at the wedding and had a blast. Erica had everything under control!!!! I wish I had another daughter so I could do it again!

HIRE if you want perf mountain wedding!!

There aren’t enough words to say to describe how grateful I am to have had Erica plan our wedding. From day one we had constant communication from 2000 miles away for our destination wedding to Breckenridge, CO. She was able to take my vision of an industrial rustic wedding while maintaining my budget wonderfully! Our venue was The Lodge at Breckenridge. The details to make our wedding unique was breathtaking and the day of coordination was a must. I would recommend Erica a hundred times over to anyone trying to have a unique and beautiful wedding in Summit County.

Erica is Amazing!

Erica was worth her weight in gold for our wedding. We did a destination wedding in Colorado and she was able to help us with as much or as little as we wanted- design, vendors, coordinating with the venue, etc. She also took over for me 2 weeks in advance of the wedding, letting me relax and enjoy the time with friends and family. She is FANTASTIC to work with and our wedding was either early or on-time for every aspect! Literally nothing went wrong. Erica even jumped in to help us out at our rehearsal dinner!

She was there for the whole day and helped me move from place to place in high winds for photos-- making sure my dress and veil were straightened out and looking pristine each time, even at the peril of her own styling.

If you're looking for a wedding or event coordinator, hands-down Erica is the way to go.

A Groom's Perspective

Erica is the wedding planner you want if you want your wedding day to be stress free and full of joy. She went above and beyond all expectations. Before hiring her, my wife-to-be had a couple moments of tears from the overwhelming task of planning a destination wedding. After, there were only tears of joy. Erica saved us many nights of anxiety. She had the perfect balance of gathering our input on certain items but using her expertise to make other decisions for us. My job required me to be out of contact for four the nine months of wedding planning and Erica was able to serve as someone to lean on for my wife in my absence leading up to the wedding.
Erica not only planned the wedding day, but as soon as we arrive in Breckenridge, she had coordinated key events (like the fun drink tasting or the necessary rehearsal). This structure allowed us to enjoy the holidays, family time, and the slopes without having to worry about when the wedding tasks would be taken care of.
For the actual wedding day, Erica was able to handle all of the speedbumps without us even knowing about them. The only we one we did know about was that it was 10 degrees coupled with an outdoor ceremony. Erica had preplanned for all the shuttle to have the heat going full blast for a quick warm up for our guests. Her dedication to making our wedding special was reinforced by our guests comment on how perfect and fun the day was. We attribute their positive reaction to her hard work. My only regret was not hiring her sooner or maybe considering an inside ceremony in December.

Erica went above and beyond to make our wedding day everything we dreamed of. We booked Erica for planning services 3 months out and the day of. If there is any advice I have for newly engaged couples it is, planners like Erica are worth every penny! Erica was quick to help out with the final details and saved us money were it counted. Through out the planning Erica was very easy to get a hold of, she even responded to late night texts when questions arose. Having a destination wedding in the mountains was as beautiful as a dream, but took a lot of time to organize every logistic. Erica helped make this process run seamlessly, so that my husband and I could enjoy the week with our friends and family. We can't thank Erica enough for every part she had in making our day one we will always remember!

After you've chosen your significant other, the single most important relationship in your pre-wedding life is the one you have with your wedding planner, and I cannot be more thankful that we found Erica to fill that role. My husband and I completely changed gears (not just venue, try different state completely) about 9 months before our wedding. We were lucky to have found Erica as a recommendation from mutual friends who had their destination wedding in Colorado the year prior. Erica worked very hard right from the beginning and had us nail down our ceremony and receptions venues within 2 weeks, and cinched the hair/makeup, cake, DJ, transportation, and photographer a few weeks after that. Throughout the process, Erica was very responsive to e-mails/texts, particularly when I had frantic moments, and she was available during off hours, and weekends especially as the day approached. Because she takes only a limited number of clients per year, I felt like she was able to personally dedicate a lot of her time to us and never outsourced/delegated work to an assistant. She maintained close and very frequent contact with all of our vendors and I rarely needed direct e-mail contact with anyone. She let us ship a million decor items, gifts, etc directly to her since we were travelling from far away. She arranged our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner and helped schedule multiple events during the week of the wedding for out of town guests. She set up and maintained an online client portal that was unbelievable helpful for keeping track of vendors, payments, budget, guests, etc. She literally took care of it all. Her recommendations for all of our vendors were spot on and we were extremely happy with every aspect of our wedding day. Venue, music, photography, beauty, flowers...it was all just perfect. Our date was more special than we cold have hoped for and we owe it all to her. Thank you Erica!

We have a lot of friends who say planning a wedding was super stressful but Erica made the experience So easy and enjoyable. Words can barely express our gratitude we have for Erica. We are so glad we were lucky enough to stumble upon her. Erica was absolutely amazing to work with! She and her team have so many amazing qualities; they helped to keep us organized and on a flawless timeline, they took away the stress of having to deal with other vendors while making sure everything was done exactly the way we wanted it, and they made our wedding day absolutely stress free and perfect. However, our favorite thing about Erica was that she was truly committed to our wedding and was so happy for our us. My review of Erica Sarell Weddings is only a small snapshot of the superior quality and care that Erica put into our day! She was so professional and responsive to all our pre-wedding requests. We were a destination wedding couple, and she knew the lay of the land and had personal relationships with the vendors worked with us. Working with Erica was the single best decision I made when planning my wedding. I opted for her Beautiful Day package which includes 45 days of pre-wedding planning. Erica was so easy and fun to work with. She was totally on top of the many details, extremely responsive to all of my questions, and coordinated everything seamlessly among all our vendors. She really gets to know you and your vision for your wedding day, and she made the final weeks leading up to the wedding stress free. Several people told me afterwards that the wedding was very well planned - I didn't even know that was a compliment you could get! I highly recommend Erica!

Erica was great! She was easy to work with and very on top of everything. As soon as she started, she put me at ease and I didn't have to worry about communicating with all of my vendors non-stop. Erica, thanks so much for your help in planning and executing Heather's and Beau's wedding. My husband and I got married on August 22nd of this year at the top of Keystone Mountain and had the pleasure of working with Erica as our wedding planner. She was extremely detail oriented and very prompt when it came to returning our phone calls, and e-mails. Her organization definitely showed because the entire night was AMAZING!! Erica was a lifesaver for our wedding. She did an amazing job compiling all our vendors I had booked and took over and ran the rest of the wedding! I never once worried about anything the day of the wedding. She executed the timeline and moved everyone around to where they needed to be. She also beautifully arranged everything under the wedding reception tent. I spent months searching for vases, vintage linens and many other decorative pieces and she made it all look effortlessly put together. Erica also connected us with live musicians for our ceremony and some beautiful table linen rentals (at a price I could afford). Her team also moved the ceremony chairs to the reception!! Which was not in her job description but my vendor location - but she took over and made it happen!! I will never forget all the details she put together as well as the relaxed feeling of the day. We are so grateful we found Erica and got the opportunity to have her be our wedding planner. We wanted to have a destination wedding in the mountains, but had no idea where to start. She helped us find the perfect venue and linked us up with some amazing vendors. There was an unforeseen, last-minute hiccup with our venue that raised some significant issues regarding the wedding day schedule, our photography, and the transportation of us and our guests. Somehow Erica turned this potentially disastrous circumstance into a blessing by finding solutions that actually made the event go off better than it was originally planned to (with minimal input from me, I might add). Honestly, if you're looking for a planner... don't look any further. Erica has great vision and taste, is responsible, incredibly responsive by phone and email, navigated annoying situations with other vendors so that I didn't have to be involved, and was a trusted friend through the process. As a bride planning from another state, I can honestly say the wedding would not have been successful without her.

Our venue was amazing, but everything had to be brought in... great to personalize, but logistically complicated! Erica managed it all - parking, transportation, decor set up, all the vendors.... so that I didn't have to worry. People kept asking me if I was stressed, and I could honestly say no. Because I, my fiance, and my family knew Erica and her staff were in complete control.

She was above and beyond my expectations. I would give her 10 stars if I could.

Erica was absolutely stellar from the first phone call that my husband and I had with her until the very last minutes of clean-up at our wedding. We hired Erica as a day-of planner, as I am a very type-A, perfectionist person who did not want to rely on myself or any family members to set-up our venue for us. Erica provided us with much more than a typical day-of planner. She went above and beyond every step of the way. Erica provided us with check lists for each thing that we should be focusing on through each stage of the planning process, did a walk-through with us at our Vail venue at about 40 days out, and then took over all vendor communications for us after that walk-through. She emailed all of the vendors to follow up on any un-finished items, organized their schedules with them and then provided all of the vendors, wedding party and family members with a master schedule of the big day. Being someone who has a hard time giving up control, I was surprised how easy it was for me to allow Erica to take control for me. She was so trustworthy and took care of everything before I even had to ask her to do so. Many of our vendors have contacted us after the wedding day telling us that Erica was the most professional and organized wedding planner they have ever worked with.
As several people will tell you, there will always be things that happen the day of the wedding that you don't plan for. For us, there were a few different things that were out of everyone's control - one of which was the intense rain that came through right before our outdoor ceremony. Erica stayed calm and kept me calm as well, tracking the storm and making sure that all of her staff and catering staff were ready to get everything going as soon as the rain was over. My guests were so impressed by how smooth everything went, even with the rain delay, and I owe that all to Erica.
I would highly recommend using Erica for any of your event planning needs.

When I started planning my wedding I thought I could do everything on my own. I later figured out that this was very much so not the case. There was so many things that I did not even think to do to help myself and my guests. Erica Bull was absolutely amazing and helped make my special day one to remember for everyone. I'm so glad she was there for me and able to help me out with all the little things no one really thinks of. We could not have had the wedding we hoped for without Erica. I work in corporate events and honestly had my hands full with my clients and couldn't focus on my own wedding! We had a vague vision with too many ideas and Erica helped us narrow them down and found us the right vendors to achieve it within our price range. She kept us on track and gently nudged us when strayed. She was a great mix of guide and support. The final days she was invaluable. And all of the vendors loved working with her! She provided positive encouragement, a strong design eye and somehow just made it all happen.

I got married a little over a year ago in Clearwater Beach FL and still when I think back to that day...which was fabulous...I will always remember the impact Erica had on making it all possible. Sure I did my own hardwork in the planning process with her help of course but when it came down to that day- I don't think it would of been what it was without her. Never once did I even any doubt. If you are hesitant about whether a wedding planner is worth it or not (because I was) let me assure you she is worth every penny. She works very hard and truly loves the job- which I could never imagine doing as a career. I will never forget her and I don't think a lot of brides can say that about their wedding planners.

Erica was wonderful! We are former Coloradans and now live out of state but we decided that we wanted our wedding to be in the mountains of Colorado. We have Erica to thank for helping us find our venue; being out of state, Erica worked diligently with us to identify what type of venue we were looking for and set up an itinerary for us when we flew out to check out our options. Erica was very patient with us and receptive to the feedback on the potential venues (even including a few options we researched independently) even though it took a few iterations. It was also extremely valuable to see each venue with her in person and we appreciated that she went the extra mile to coordinate and setup showings for us! Her advice on design and vendors were amazing; the setting was lovely and everything went off without a hitch!
Having Erica and her staff there to handle logistics on the day of the wedding allowed us to enjoy our wedding day, and be fully present to celebrate with our closest friends and family.

Erica is very easy to work with, responsive, reasonably priced, professional and knowledgeable. We appreciated all the time Erica spent getting to know us and responding to our often lengthy e-mails and dealing with our frequent indecision!

Wow! Erica put together a wedding that both mothers described as fairy-tale. Erica is organized, flexible and most importantly, while she may be a stickler on the details, she keeps a low key demeanor that keeps everyone calm and relaxed. She started by listening to my ideas about what I wanted my wedding to be like and then executed my vision far beyond what I could have imagined. She helped me pick vendors that like her were professional and organized which made the whole process run smoothly. Her timeline kept us on track for the wedding, and when people would ask me if I was stressing about planning the wedding I would tell them, "no the wedding planner has all that handled." Which she totally did!!!
I spent my wedding week going to the rodeo in Cheyenne, climbing Gray's and Torreys, playing at Winter Park Resort (not sure how many times I did the Alpine Slide), touring Pikes Peak, seeing RMNP, taking the entire family for a horseback ride, and spending time with friends and family. The wedding party went zip lining the morning of the wedding because, well, the wedding was handled, and it seemed like fun. None of that would have been possible without Erica--who I met in person for the first time Tuesday morning before the wedding!

It was priceless to have a local, month-of coordinator for our destination event! Erica was always accessible for consultation during this hectic time.

Very unfortunate experience using Erica Sarell Weddings. If you are thinking of using her, please reach out to me for more information. meredithlynneriggs@gmail.com. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she was not following-through on her most basic responsibilities, which made planning more stressful on the us (the bride and groom) than if we had never hired anyone to help. Her (never completed) work product reflected very poor attention to detail. The vendors that she did communicate with gave us bad reviews of their experience with her. We had a 75-person destination wedding in Breckenridge—outdoor ceremony, tented home reception, spent $40k. Not sure what level of wedding she has mastered before, but we did not have a big affair, and it was way too much for her. She overpromised on the front end to get the job, and did not follow-through on any task. In the end, she sent us an email on the Monday before the Thursday start of the wedding weekend to tell us she quit (she did return the money we had paid her). Luckily, we had AMAZING vendors other than her (6 stars for Footers catering, Ladybird Poppy floral, Ignight Entertainment, and Masterful Musicians) so we were able to pull off a beautiful event. For us, Erica was a disaster, and she represented the only anxiety and tension of the planning stages. I do not think she is a bad person, but she is not a professional wedding coordinator. If you are going to use her, do not agree to pay her upfront. She has no out-of-pocket expenses and there is no reason to pay her before she performs—which in our experience, she does not perform.
