I highly recommend Encore for your bridal shopping needs. I have had a great experience with them. I was concerned about shopping during COVID, and wanted the experience with my closest ladies. Kathy and her team went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and safe. They have a great selection of dresses at a wide range of prices. She was encouraging as I tried on dresses and offered accessories to make the dress my own. It was a fun and memorable experience! -

I met Kathy, the owner, at a bridal expo in Cartersville. She was warm, outgoing, and bubbly. She wanted to know everything about my plans and really made me feel like we were friends. This was a huge check in my box. This personality stayed consistent with every visit. Everyone that walked through her doors, she greeted them with warmth and kindness. Kathy was honest but kind when I tried on dresses and allowed me to pick what I wanted. Her staff is just as friendly as she is. I never felt judged for my size or my opinions. They listened to my thoughts and concerns during the whole process. I am so glad I got my dress from them! -

I went to this location before me and my husband found our venue about a year ago and Mrs. Kathy was so nice and when I went back this month she had the same energy as before. I found my dress and she complimented me on every dress I tried on which made me even more happy to be around her and to pick my dress from her shop. Thank toy Mrs. Kathy for being so helpful and helping me find my dream gown. -

From searching for the dress to buying all my dresses, Kathy and Irma were amazing helping get everything. I adored my Morilee dress and thanks to Irma it fit fantastically. I ordered all 7 of my bridesmaids dresses through her too and she helped pick sizes and shapes to fit everyone! 10/10 -

I'm not from Georgia, but my family lives there now. So over Thanksgiving break this year, my mom arranged for her, myself, my sisters, and my grandma to visit Encore so I could find my wedding dress. I was skeptical at first because it is a rather small shop, HOWEVER, they have an extremely affordable selection with a lot of different styles (and it's not overwhelming like some places).
When we arrived in the morning, we had the whole place to ourselves, which made the experience even more fun! Jessica and Kathy were extremely helpful, especially since I went in not really knowing what I was looking for. They helped me find my wedding dress style, and even though I had an appointment booked somewhere else (the "say yes to the dress" store), I ended up canceling because I found my DREAM DRESS at Encore!
OVERALL: I would highly recommend to any bride looking for a more personal, private experience. I did not feel pressured at all and was able to take my time and find my perfect dress. They had a nice sitting area for my mom, sisters, and grandma and we had so much fun! They even sent a sweet handwritten card to my house in Texas after I purchased my dress. Overall I loved my experience here - thank you Encore! -

The dress selection was amazing, it was honestly so hard to choose just one! Kathy was absolutely wonderful and made the experience so much fun. I found my dream dress and I’m so so so glad I went to Encore! -

Adriana Sent on 09/24/2018After trying out five different bridal shops, I was happy to find that Encore blew them all out of the water! After a mixed bag of experiences at bridal shops, I started looking directly at designers’ websites to try and narrow down to the dress I wanted. I fell in love with one from Morilee, but after contacting several dress shops in and around Atlanta, was unable to find anyone who either had it or was willing to order a sample for me to try on—until I came across Kathy at Encore!
She was endlessly positive and patient throughout the process of obtaining the sample from the designer and so encouraging once I met her in the store to try on dresses. She made me, my bridesmaid, and my mom all feel like family. I am so happy to have ordered my dress from Encore and could not recommend Kathy and her colleagues more! They are one of the few places that will go above and beyond for you.

I have actually bought 2 dresses from her and she even remembered me from the first dress I bought! Kathy and her team are great! I would defiantly recommend going there for your wedding dress!! -
Shannon Sent on 08/02/2018I had the pleasure of working with Kathy! She was a joy to be around and her energy fit my high energy. Not only that, but she was very helpful throughout the ENTIRE process. As soon as my arms were full of dresses to try on she took them right to the fitting room for me. She even picked a few off the the bridal racks for me to try, and they were the perfect style! Their selection was amazing and with personally having a rather low budget, I was amazed at how many dresses I was able to try on. This was the first place I went to and I fell in love with one of the dresses. Unfortunately, I was unable to purchase THAT night, and I had class the next day. With National Bridal Sale going on I was nervous it wouldn't be there after classes finished the next day. She was a DOLL and came in early the next morning to help be buy my dream dress and also get to my classes on time. There aren't many business owners that will do that for you, and I'm so grateful she did because I was able to say YES to my dream dress under budget!! I never thought that would happen! Not only that, but I found perfect earrings and a veil to go with my dress too. I cannot wait to go back in a few weeks to look at bridesmaids dresses! They have so many colors and so many styles in those too! I truly look forward to spending more time there! Thank you Encore Formals and Bridal!

Lorna Sent on 09/26/2015Kathy made the entire process of finding my wedding gown an amazing experience. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to find the perfect dress during my first appointment. Kathy had plenty of gowns to choose from and she encouraged me to try on as many dresses as I wanted to. She helped me into every single dress. I couldn't decide between two dresses. Kathy went in the back and came back in the other dress. It made it so easy to compare the two dresses and I was able to confidently make my decision. Kathy made this experience so wonderful for me and I truly felt like a bride. -
Whitney Sent on 08/26/2018Walked in not expecting to find my dream dress but I walked out with a beauty. I wore Casablanca style 2304. Courtney has phenomenal and it was her first day!
It is 50% day of and the rest is due in 3 months - which was not explained to me but I also didn’t ask
I had to make smaller payments when finishing paying off my dress for my personal budget which proved to be a little confusing in my opinion when I had to speak with the owner. -
