Hiring Janice as our wedding planner was truly one of the best choices we made. From the start, she took the time to understand our vision, down to the smallest details, and worked tirelessly to bring it to life. What stood out most was how she remembered even the most offhand comments. At one point during planning, I jokingly mentioned wanting McDonald’s fries as a late-night snack. I never brought it up again, but sure enough, she surprised us with them on our wedding night. That simple, thoughtful gesture made the experience even more personal and fun. It’s something we’ll always smile about.
Janice is not only incredibly organized and creative, but she’s also so personable and easy to connect with. She made the entire process feel less like a business transaction and more like planning with a trusted friend. I genuinely miss working with her.
She’s the kind of planner who anticipates your needs before you realize them, stays calm under pressure, and makes sure everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes so you can actually enjoy your day. Thanks to her, we were able to be fully present and soak in every moment.

If you’re planning a wedding in Puerto Rico, you NEED Janice from Encanto Weddings! Seriously, she is everything you could hope for in a planner and more. From day one, she made the entire process feel smooth, organized, and actually enjoyable (which says a lot when wedding planning can get stressful fast!).
Our wedding at the beautiful Wyndham Grand Rio Mar in Río Grande was absolutely perfect, and that’s all thanks to her. Janice paid attention to every little detail, made sure everything stayed on schedule, and went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. I never once felt overwhelmed because I knew she had everything under control.
She’s professional, kind, responsive, and truly passionate about what she does—and it shows in every moment she creates. Our day felt seamless, magical, and so “us,” which is exactly what we wanted.

Hiring Janice was such a good call and made a huge difference in how we experienced our wedding. From the start, she was organized, patient, and willing to accommodate our many ideas. She listened to our vision and helped shape the wedding into something that felt personal and true to us. She helped us stay calm, even when the task at hand seemed overwhelming (which, let’s be honest, happens a lot!).
One of the things we appreciated most about Janice was how she took the pieces we had already planned and brought them together into a cohesive event. She helped fill in the gaps, sourced vendors within our budget, and made sure we stayed on track without feeling overwhelmed.

I have nothing but good things to say! I live in Seattle but wanted my wedding in Puerto Rico since all my family lives there, and we had a little over 2 months to get it planned! She quickly understood my vision, honestly even better than I did. She’s fun, extremely organized, and had the connections we needed to pull this wedding off in such a short time. The wedding itself turned out so, so beautiful. -

Would recommend encanto weddings
Janice and the Encanto Team were the best people to work with! They are understanding and communicative, and willing to work towards the wedding of our dreams. We went into this planning from out of state, and we were well prepared and not nervous when the days approached. We hosted a Welcome Party, a Rehearsal Dinner, and a full 160 person wedding. We were listened to and our concerns were well addressed. She understands everything from the macro to the micro, and is well connected with many great vendors and services. She is also highly adaptable and helpful resource to all things related to Puerto Rico! We highly recommend Encanto!! -

My fiancé and I met with nearly 10 wedding planners before deciding. Some of the planners we met with said our budget was not realistic, said we needed to increase it and would only work with certain vendors. We wanted to team up with someone that would mesh with our personalities, would respect our healthy budget and was also open to working with a variety of vendors. Janice did exactly that!!! From our initial call she was open minded and didn’t shoot down our budget or vision. I vividly remember when I said “no we can’t have that, it’s too expensive”. Janice said “if you want something we will find it and make sure it’s within your price range”. Angel!!!
When we decided on our overall wedding budget, Janice provided a detailed and estimated expense breakdown from vendors, to stationary and everything in between. She laid everything out for us and really helped us identify what we wanted to spend per category. Early on Janice sent us a list of 3 different vendors per category for us to browse. Every single vendor she recommended was extremely talented, matched our vision and was appropriately priced!! Janice’s attention to detail is unmatched! Our wedding file consisted of budget breakdown, client flow and checklists to ensure we stayed on track, photo lists, recommendations for guests and much much more!!!
We booked a last minute trip to PR for our site inspection, HAMU trial and food tastings. Janice coordinated every meeting and met with us multiple times throughout our quick weekend trip. She always replied immediately to our emails and text messages. Janice and her team handled EVERYTHING behind the scenes on our big day. I am a type A person and a bit high strung, but I did not worry at all because Janice made sure I had a wonderful day! Truly this woman is one of a kind. Janice is beyond talented. You can see her passion for others and is a perfectionist! I am beyond appreciative of her! I trust her with my life!!! -

Janice and team were so amazing every step of the way this past year! I cannot thank her and her team enough for their hard work and attention to detail to bring my vision of our wedding to life. We planned this destination wedding for just about a year and she has always answered my questions in a timely manner rather if it was texting or emailing.
Since I never visited the venue in person before and planning from Ohio. I had to put complete trust and rely on her to help me and guide me through the process. For that I am so grateful and indebted to her. I was also a full time nursing school student while planning this wedding and it was just a mad house and my anxiety was sky high. She was always willing to listen to me. In a way..a wedding planner is also a therapist and couple counseling lol. They don’t get enough credit for the hard work they do.
I had 4 days of wedding activities planned and Janice was there for me 3 days. She was only require to be there for my wedding day but here she is supporting my husband and I. Her work ethic is unbeatable.
I had little things that came up here and there the week before the wedding and I was able to run to Janice to ask for her advice and come up with back up plan:
-My officiant/BIL had a family emergency and had to fly back home for a few days. I wanted to make sure he was not obligated to come back if he had to stay home to be there for his family. Janice stepped up and found us a back up officiant quickly Incase my BIL couldn’t marry us. Crisis averted though!
-My copper metal stand got delivered to the wrong address and I had to talk to Janice about a possible back up plan since that was my seating chart lol Janice already came up with her back up plan Incase we couldn’t find my stand. In the end, we were able to locate the stand and the owner of the Airbnb it got delivered to lol. Whewww.
There were other things that popped up here and there but Janice was calm, cool, and collected which made me calm on my wedding day. Nothing bothered her and she was a good leader and took charge which I appreciated so much!
We had a post wedding catamaran charter the day
after the wedding and we invited her and her husband to join us on the catamaran snorkeling/Icacos beach day so she can relax and spend some time with her hubby. She again stepped up and ended up having to coordinate with the transportation driver and communicated to our guests. I felt so bad because this was her day to relax and here she is working! But I wouldn’t be able to pull any of this off without her. I would have missed so many details and forgot about a lot of things/detail that I planned because my head was spinning between trying to talk to everyone and being on time for our packed schedule. Sorry for being too extra but also thank you for making my dreams come true. -

Janice was fantastic! My wedding was everything I wanted, and she was there every step of the way. It helped having her in PR. She went above and beyond with the welcome bags, telephone guestbook, and communication. I highly recommend Encanto Weddings! -

Get married in puerto rico!
Janice is the best, I honestly thought I would be able to pull this off from California, and I would have struggled. Janice went above and beyond and listened to my needs and wants and created a beautiful wedding, bougie on a budget. She even helped with our beach day gathering the day before the wedding so all our guests could get to know one another for our intimate wedding we had the next day. She has the best contacts and all the vendors we worked with were top notch. There wasn't anything that we wanted that she couldn't make happen, even with a demanding father like mine. All transportation accommodations for our guests were made by her, and the day of the event her and her team made sure every guest was taking care of. We were all in loving and caring hands. She is well organized and kept us organized and on the timeline to get things done. Never did I feel overwhelmed or stressed out by the process. She thinks of everything and things you don't even know you need, her and her team were prepared for anything! My wedding was EVERYTHING we wanted and more, it was exactly what I described to Janice in our first meeting and she made it happen. Even the littlest details like a groomsman cake and cigar bar. If there was any problem I didn't know, Encanto is aces! -

She was organized, respected our budget, and brought ideas to us to enhance our wedding. She scheduled tastings, decor tours and even helped with our wedding guest management. I wish I could give more than 5 stars to this awesome lady. If you think you don't need a wedding planner, think again and if you think you can go with just any one THINK AGAIN!
Janice is the most top-notch planner I’ve ever met, and I am incredibly lucky and blessed to have had her help. As a bride who lives in the US mainland away from Puerto Rico, I cannot have enough words to express my gratitude for Janice and her team. Janice took care of every possible detail to make sure it was all a smooth weekend without any running issues.
Planning events during a pandemic was a whole new ordeal: Janice NEVER faltered and performed her magic planning our wedding making sure everything was absolutely perfect and coordinating with every vendor while always advocating for our wishes. Whenever I asked for feedback on items, Janice ALWAYS came back with an even better option than I had envisioned, making the event even better and lifting a huge stress of my shoulders.
My wedding was something out of a magazine - It was the PERFECT wedding and it's all because of Janice. She worked her ✨Encanto✨ magic and brought it to life - I will be forever grateful for Janice creating perfection with our wedding. -
