Hiring Emma was one of the best wedding decisions we made! We were lucky enough to meet her a few months before the wedding for engagement photos and she made us feel so comfortable. Excellent communication and attention to detail! On the wedding day she went above and beyond to make us feel special and truly is the ultimate hype women! Our wedding party and guests still rave about how awesome she was. We were given tons of sneak peeks only a few days after the wedding and everyone was shocked that there are still more coming! -

Emma is everything you could want in a photographer for any special occasion! We had the pleasure of working with her for both our engagement photo shoot and our elopement ceremony. To say she is amazing is an understatement! Not only is she so very talented but she is also such a lovely person. She makes you feel comfortable in a situation that could have you feeling awkward at times. My husband and I don't take pictures often but Emma made easy to let loose in front of the camera. She is so genuine and so helpful when it comes to planning your photo session or even your big day. I can't recommend her enough! -

Working with Emma was phenomenal! She is professional, fun, and kind, and her work is so beautiful! Emma made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire engagement shoot and wedding day, even though my husband and I were new to being in front of the camera. She made sure to check in with us throughout the day to make sure we were comfortable, hydrated, and happy, and she helped to ease my wedding morning nerves. Choosing Emma as our wedding photographer was the single best decision we made throughout the entire planning process. We were instantly drawn to her talent and her bubbly personality. We learned about her cancer diagnosis shortly after we hired her, and watching her face this devastating challenge with such incredible strength and grace has filled us with awe and a deep admiration. She was incredibly transparent about her treatment plan, always reassuring us that our wedding was a priority, and her determination to be there for us despite everything she was going through was truly inspiring.
Our wedding day arrived, and it was Emma's first day back in the field after starting treatment but you would never have known. She radiated joy and energy, and turned out to be our literal guardian angel sent directly from heaven to guide us through the chaos that was about to ensue.
Our wedding day was a disaster as our venue utterly failed us- their incompetence created a cascade of problems that threatened to derail the meticulously crafted schedule Emma had created for us. As it was thrown off course again and again by the venue's failures, she managed to navigate in the moment with incredible flexibility and patience, putting us back on track each time and making sure she captured EVERY single moment better than I had envisioned them.
Emma and her team were our emotional support system. They soothed frayed nerves, offered words of encouragement, and went FAR above and beyond their call of duty, stepping in without hesitation wherever needed.
And the photos... they are breathtaking. Emma has this magical ability to capture the essence of a moment, the raw emotion, the fleeting glances, the genuine laughter. Looking at them now, I don't see any of the stress that I remembered. I only see love, joy, and the unwavering support of our loved ones. Emma's photos are a testament to her artistry and her ability to find beauty even in the midst of chaos and turmoil.
Emma and her team are more than just photographers; and they have done more than just photograph our wedding. They are artists, problem-solvers, and compassionate souls who went above and beyond to save our wedding day. They have literally transformed our memories, replacing the cringey moments full of anxiety and frustration with warm fuzzy feelings, full of nothing but joy and happiness; a gift I truly will cherish for the rest of my life.
We are eternally grateful to Emma, Jocelyn, and Lee for their talent, their dedication, and most importantly their unwavering support. If you choose Emma as your photographer for any event- I can absolutely 100% guarantee you will NOT regret it. Thank you, Emma, from the bottom of our hearts. -

From our first initial meeting to our engagement shoot to our wedding photos and everything in between, Emma has been on it, making the entire process so smooth and stress free! Emma's style of photography is so unique and truly captures your most joyous moments.
Emma is friendly, professional, SO ORGANIZED, and does not let anything slip through the cracks. Emma has such an eye for detail and highlights everything and more that you would want captured on your special day.
My now husband Patrick and I could not have picked a better photographer. Emma is a true gem, her sweet demeanor makes you feel so comfortable while being photographed, she really just wants to capture the best moments and she totally does.
Our dog Ragnar was a big part of our engagement photos and wedding and Emma truly knocked it out of the park with capturing him with us. We are forever grateful for Emma's skillset and expertise. Our wedding was filled with so much love and joy and the amount of fun, laughs, emotion captured in our photos will allow us to relive the day with the same sentiment :)

Do yourself a favor and hire Emma for your wedding (or any special event).
Emma and I immediately hit it off when we first talked on the phone about having her photograph my wedding. When we hung up the call, I told my fiancé we were hiring her because the vibe was just so great.
Throughout the entire process leading up to our wedding, Emma was kind, super communicative, and overall just extremely professional. Out of all of our wedding vendors, Emma was the one I was most excited to meet because she felt like a friend from day one.
We are IN LOVE with our wedding photos! And she delivered 100+ sneak peaks to us just days after our wedding which was amazing.
I seriously cannot say enough about how awesome Emma is! We’re so so so happy that we were able to work with her to capture our wedding.

She handled our families with such grace during the family pictures and returned our sneak peak images to us in a timely manner so that we could share some photos of our day before the entirety of our gallery was ready to view. Emma is INCREDIBLE! From the moment we first spoke to her on the phone, we knew she was going to be the photographer for us. I had a vision in my head of how I wanted our wedding to be captured, and Emma and her second shooter, Jamie, fully delivered. She went above and beyond from the moment we booked her to the night we left our wedding. She was quick to offer color and clothing recommendations based off of where we did our engagement photos, and all of the photos she delivered were ones I will cherish forever.
The night of our wedding, she captured all of the photos we were hoping for, and had such fun ideas to do with our bridal party. Not to mention, was a total ray of sunshine and filled with positive energy the entire weekend.

My now husband and I are two absolutely awkward dorks and Emma managed to calm our nerves, make us laugh, and take gorgeous photos of us as the same time. Emma Nicole Photography was by far the best decision I made for our wedding! Let me tell you! First off she is extremely talented PERIOD. Her photos capture LIFE and I’m living for ours! We had the BEST experience from start to finish with Emma Nicole for our Santa Barbara beach wedding.
After seeing Emma's work online, we knew we wanted to hire her. We were attracted to her natural style from the authentic way she captured people to her use of lighting. Her pricing was really reasonable compared to some of the other photographers we looked into.
From the start, she made the planning super easy. We met on the beach to discuss shots, and then had a couple follow-up conversations in the lead-up to the big day. She provided resources to keep us organized and always made us feel calm and prepared. We were on the same page the whole time.
Day of, Emma was the perfect combination of friendly, encouraging, professional, and commanding. All of the planned photography was completed ahead of schedule, and Emma even remembered to follow up on a few special extra shots we requested at the last minute. We were so grateful to put our trust in her.
When we received the finalized photos (with such quick turnaround!) we were thrilled. Emma had captured all of the most important moments of the night, but was never in the way. Everyone looked great in the photos because of her positive presence behind the camera. We would recommend Emma to anyone who is looking for a photographer. -

Emma is an absolute queen with a camera. From the moment I saw her work on Instagram, I knew that she just had to be the one to capture our special day! From our first conversation with Emma, we knew that she was going to go above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable, confident, and excited about working together - and I can definitely say that we were! From the engagement pictures that she took of us, to sharing her personal stories as a fellow Gaucho, to giving us so many recommendations on great picture spots, working with Emma was a dream.
On the day of the wedding, Emma put so much effort into capturing the smallest of details - ones that I dont even think we were fully even able to notice and admire until we looked back at the pictures! Emma was an AMAZING photographer for our small beach wedding! Due to fires in the fall, we had to switch locations from Big Bear to Santa Barbara a few days before the wedding. Emma saved the day — she helped us find the perfect location literally 24 hours before the ceremony (on her LUNCH BREAK, no less), came with some great ideas, and even provided her own props to help us turn the bluffs into a beautiful ceremony site.
Emma handled both our engagement photos and wedding day photos beautifully. During the pandemic, she was responsible and respectful about social distancing during our shoots. She was fair and willing to work with our budget, and she conducted herself with professionalism and class.
But also, she was FUN! My fiancé and I were both pretty nervous in front of the camera at first, and Emma made us feel comfortable and confident in no time. There was lots of laughing. Lots of dancing. We were cracking jokes the whole time. And she captured it all!
On the big day, Emma was right on time and came prepared. We didn't make it easy for her — she had to go to a hotel for hair and makeup photos, then to the ceremony site, then to the reception an hour away, then to our off-site shoot, and then BACK to the reception. She kept our group photos moving quickly, snagged some heart-melting photos of our "dog of honor," and stayed on the ball all day long.
Long story short — I could not have asked for a better wedding photographer than Emma. I'd recommend her in a heartbeat for her professionalism, delightful personality and, of course, her insane talent. Our pictures were magical. -
