Rock star is BEHIND the cameras

After checking out several photographers, the decision was simple as soon as we met Steve and Kelly. They made us feel so comfortable and made the sometimes tedious task of posing for pictures an absolute blast! We like them so much they have become family friends. We will see them next weekend at our BBQ - that is how friendly they are! 20/10 would use again!

Forever my go to photographer!

We don’t even know where to start with this amazing team of people. The day we went in for our sit down with Steve we walked out knowing we wanted to book with him. We wanted to work with Steve and thought having a second photographer would be awesome so we went with the Gold Coast package! It has everything you would want and more. We also had the pleasure of working with Brian as our videographer! Even though these were the people we worked with on our wedding day, I feel like we got to know a lot of the team throughout the process. Kelly (his assistant) is amazing as well! Very personable and also quick to answer back. We also had the pleasure of working with her during our engagement session. Steve and his team are the people you want! Steve makes you feel super comfortable with every step from booking to your wedding day. He truly goes above and beyond for the people he works with! We will be going with Steve for any and all of our photography needs! You need to talk with him! We promise you won’t be disappointed!

Steve was great! We loved him from the minute we met him, it's easy to see his talent in his work but he is awesome person to boot! We love that he insists on doing engagement photos as well in order to get to know the couple before the wedding and we had a blast at that shoot too! On our wedding day, he was just awesome, the moment he arrived everyone was at ease and taking pictures was just so fun (and most of my bridal party HATES having their pictures taken). He made sure we got all of the important shots that I had on my list, got creative with how to shoot most of them and even got a shot of my first promotion in Brazilian jiu jitsu which was an awesome suprise added for the day and meant a lot to my husband and I (and I'm sure my BJJ coach). I could go on and on about how great and fun it is to work with Steve, but I'm just going to recommend he shoots your wedding instead, he's awesome.

We had the great joy of using Steve eight years ago for our wedding, and I found myself returning to him for professional headshot pictures. When I found out that I needed professonal headshot photos, it was a natural decision to work with Steve again! He cares about getting the best pictures and making the process very laidback and easy! Both eight years ago and now...the pictures are beautiful! He has a gift, and I am so grateful to have crossed paths with him and his studio!

Steve is the absolute BEST! I picked Steve and Valen Studios because I was worried that my fiancé and his buds wouldn't want to take a bunch of photos and would get grumpy quickly. I was looking for someone who had an infectious personality that could take charge of our bridal party without feeling like a drill sergeant, thus allowing us to get the photos I desperately wanted without upsetting the bridal party too much. Steve not only is an incredibly talented photographer (his portfolio can speak to that) but his personality makes him ideal to work with bridal parties. Steve is prompt, responsive, fun, and beyond talented. I loved all aspects of my wedding but Steve and Dean truly made the day over the top amazing, only photographers I will use from here on out! Thank you so incredibly much, I am extremely grateful!!

Steve was able to see us on VERY short notice and produce so many amazing pictures of my daughter we had a difficult time selecting the best - so we didn't! We picked four! He has a personality that puts children and their moms at ease. My daughter enjoyed the experience so much, she came home and taught my husband how to pose for a headshot ;) . We will definitely come back for more pictures. And you can't beat the convenient downtown Grayslake location.

Steve and his team of professionals understand the importance of capturing every aspect of the wedding day and do so through photographs and video. They are amazing artists that went above and beyond for my son's wedding, capturing guest's emotions all the while focusing on the grooms and their celebration of marriage. Kelly and Steve have been nothing but amazing since we met them back in November. We used them as my now husband proposed to me, then engagement pictures, and now our wedding photos. Needless to say, we wouldn't keep coming back if we didn't love what they've done for us. We have met with Kelly many times to make sure we would receive everything we wanted, and she was always prompt in returning our phone calls and emails!

Eminjayin Productions has a style that is unique and we absolutely love it, we cannot say enough nice things about them as people and professionals. We love them and cannot wait to get our wedding photos back so we can show them off to our family and friends!

I highly recommend meeting with Eminjayin Productions for your photography needs, where you'll have unique, beautiful, and creative photos to look back at for years to come! Thank you Kelly and Steve, we really appreciate all the hard work and dedication you put into your work.

We loved Steve and Harper!! They were awesome leading up to our wedding day and on the day of! They were professional but so much fun! We got our images back super fast and they are all beautiful! They captured so many amazing moments. The assistant was awesome too, and even ran out to the store to get chalk after we forgot it and to see if they had glowsticks after another wedding party took ours. They went above and beyond and we are so appreciative!

Special thanks to Steve for everything you are truly amazing at what you do and you are such a wonderful person! The whole day was amazing and we were so honored and blessed to have you there documenting our special day! We literally had the best photographer anyone could ask for! Steve and his assistant were amazing! Steve gave direction to help improve our pictures, he had fun with us and we are extremely excited to see his work! We also used Steve for our engagement photos and we love them! We have 6 framed in our home! All of our interactions with him have been positive, he responds quickly to questions and is very helpful!

We loved everything about Eminjayin from our first meeting to the day of the wedding, and look forward to working with them more in the future. Eminjayin worked with us to build a package that was right for us and our photography needs. They were so enjoyable to work with. The 2 photographers we had at our wedding were there almost the WHOLE night, much longer than we imagined they would be there. Steve and Harper are phenomenal. You can find less expensive photographers, but you definitely get what you pay for. Go to their studio, see their work and hands down you'll go with them. We couldn't be more pleased with them. If you want pictures your sister could take with a digital SLR, then go with a cheap photographer that gives you a free iPad. If you want pictures that look like art and have people comment on the photograph itself, not just the dress, go with Steve and Harper.

Amazing!!!! I can't thank Harper and Steve enough for their professionalism and artistry! While budoir session was not listed in the scroll down above, that is what brought me to Harper and Steve! I researched multiple studios before choosing theirs and was more than overwhelmingly pleased!! They calmed my nerves, worked within my tastes...and the end result were absolutely amazing photos!! VERY talented photographers! Steve helped make the day go smoothly and everyone loved him.
I was very excited when Harper decided to come help shoot some extra photos.

Steve and Harper were wonderful to work with and made us feel "special". We did a love story video to show at our reception and it turned out amazing!!! They were at our ceremony and reception from start to end and were very professional but also had fun! Everyone at our reception was very impressed with them. I would highly recommend them to any bride/groom.

i absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about steve and harper! from the moment i met them, they made me feel like family. i knew i was in good hands and had the utmost faith in them from the start. steve was so good at setting me at ease and guided me through the entire process, he even helped me find an amazing florist. his photography talent is beyond words! i've never seen anything like it! any bride who chooses eminjayin productions for her video/photography needs can rest assured that NOTHING in that department is going to go wrong. that, in my opinion is worth more than money, as pictures are a big priority for any bride, and it's the last thing you want to stress about!

Steven & Harper were far & away the best vendor choice we made for our wedding. They were beyond friendly and accomodating and really made us feel special and at ease. We were reccomended to them by a florist and so happy we found them. Our pictures turned out beautifully and we really felt like they captured every special part of our day without turning it into a photo shoot filled with a bunch of boring family shots. :-) We can't say enough nice things about both Steve & Harper and their work.

I don't even know where to begin to describe how awesome Steve and Harper were. They provided us with such exceptional service that I am still blown away and almost speechless. I met them at a Bridal Show in January of 2010 and within minutes of speaking with them we booked them for our Sept wedding. What first drew me to them was their level of creativity and I could clearly see that they truly love what they do and were invested in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. I got more than I could have ever asked for by working with Steve and Harper. I am beyond happy with them and I haven't even seen my wedding pictures yet.
Me and my now husband Joe had our engagement pictures taken by them in May of 2010 and we were both nervous but as soon as we met up with Steve and Harper they made us feel at ease and it was a fun and exciting experience. I think partly why they are such a good team is because they radiate love, creativity, and loyalty as a couple. They inspired us!!! Our pictures turned out FABULOUS!!!!! We ordered an album from them and it sits on our coffee table for others to enjoy....everyone wants to know who did our photos!
Next I decided to do a boudoir photography session with Steve and Harper. I looked over their past work and decided my future hubby would love a few sexy pics of me. I was sooooo nervous for this session. I am not one to show a lot of skin but once again Steve and Harper made me feel at ease. They were so professional and have this way of bringing out my beauty..once again they inspired me! And my husband LOVED the pics! I am so happy I did them..It made me feel classy, sexy, and beautiful.
And our wedding..all i have to say is WOW! i am still blown away with the service and the personal care and love and attention we received. Steve had me, my parents, our guests..everyone laughing and dancing and to be honest he didn't even feel like my vendor...he felt like a friend. I feel blessed that Steve and Harper were a a part of my wedding. They made it more special than I could have ever imagined. I almost feel like I ripped them off because I would have paid double for them. Their prices are more than reasonable!
I literally do no have one negative thing to say about Eminjayin Productions. I have found my photographers for life...i plan on doing my pregnancy pictures..baby pictures...family pictures..everything with them! I would HIGHLY recommend Steve and Harper for your wedding photography needs if you are looking to work with a team that is not only professional but creative and inexpensive! :) They are THE BEST in the business!

The team is a husband/wife team and they work really well together! I cannot say enought great things about their work and them as people. They did our engagement photos, prewedding video, and the videography and photography for our wedding day. We were more than pleased with the quality of work. Many of our friends are using them for their special day! You will not be let down with this choice!

My husband and I used Eminjayin Productions for our photo and video. First, they provided awesome engagement photo and made you feel very comfortable while shooting them. We picked our place and they had no problem coming to where we wanted to do the engagement photos. The photos were amazing. We received so many nice comments from family and friends. The photos on our wedding day captured alot of emotion and attention to detail. Steve is great and I know you will love him too. Harper did our wedding video and captured so many great moments on the dance floor as well as getting ready with my girls. The video is worth it. I will cherish ours. Don't leave this out. Steve and Harper did an excellent job for our wedding. They are very artistic and our photos and photobooks surpassed our expectations. They also provided superb videography services and created a fun video/photo montage that was shown on the big screen at our reception. They even remembered "must have" shots that I had requested, but forgot about on the big day.

Phenomenal!

We loved working with Valen for our wedding photography. I was initially hesitant because their prices were higher than I anticipated, but they are worth every penny. Steve and his team are very good at what they do. Everyone in our wedding party was comfortable and had fun while we were shooting our photos. Steve and Rachel arrived while myself and bridesmaids were getting ready and photographed us getting ready, the guys, and a first look with both my dad and then my husband. Everything turned out beautifully and the wedding album that was included in our package is just as beautiful. The team was also really easy to work with and open to ideas and any changes we wanted. It is easy to see that Steve loves what he does and takes it seriously. He had an idea for a beautiful shot of us at our venue, which was really cool to see the idea develop and then the result. They were on site with us for about seven hours and were able to capture all of our important moments and more. We are very happy with the work they did and the overall experience we had with Valen and will recommend them to our friends and family.

Steve and Harper were not only professional and easy to work with, but their work is impeccable! I highly reccommend this photography dinamo! They are a bit pricey, but their work is proof that they are worth every penny!

At the first meeting of Harper and Steve, we immediately felt comfortable with them and knew we wanted to use Eminjayin as our wedding photographers. They are interested in getting to know you as couple and what you are looking for from your wedding photography. They are very professional yet have a way of making you feel like you've known them forever! We have had zero complaints working with them! They even went above and beyond getting us our engagement pictures faster than normal due to a contest deadline we were finalists in. We are so excited to see the pictures from the wedding, as we were thrilled with our engagement photos! I would (and have already) recommend them! We adore Steve & Harper!
