Emilie was the only hairstylist I did a trial with and for good reason. At my trial, I was able to do three different looks and she was so professional and asked me tons of questions about each look to ensure we were on the same page. It was so hard for me to pick a final look because she did such an amazing job on all three styles at my trial. She was great with her communication throughout my planning process and was very understanding with any changes I made along the way. I was so happy with the way my wedding day hair came out and even after dancing like a maniac, sweating and hours of wear it still looked great at the end of the night. All my bridesmaids also loved their hair and she gave everyone exactly what they had asked for - from big voluminous curls, to more intricate updos, she nailed them all.. She is definitely making a name for herself in the bridal hair world and rightfully so. If you still are on the hunt for a hairstylist, I highly suggest checking her out! -

Perfect Hair
Emilie was a pleasure to work with and is so talented, I was beyond happy with my hair on my wedding day and would recommend her to anyone and everyone! She was responsive and so patient with all of my questions and my general idea of what I wanted for my hair. She helped me narrow down my look, let me try out a few different options during my trial and helped me decide which hairpiece to get when I couldn't decide between a few. On the day of she was on time and had everything ready to go. She did a fabulous job on the rest of my party as well and all of our hair held up on a hot August day with pictures and ceremony outdoors too. Looking back at my photos I'm still obsessing over my hair and love seeing all of the beautiful detail Emilie did! Do not hesitate to book her! -

I found Emilie right before she started her own business, and I’m so happy I did! She does such a beautiful “undone, unpolished” look. I have VERY thick, long hair so I knew that it wouldn’t be an easy feat for anyone, but Emilie really proved me wrong. During my trial, she was so patient and receptive. She offered to try so many different styles and versions of what I wanted just to make sure I was happy. If I seemed unsure, she would make some adjustments and 10/10 times she made it perfect. My bridesmaids all looked beautiful, and everyone was impressed by how quickly she worked as a 1 woman show. On the day of, she even trimmed some face framing pieces because mine had grown out. Emilie is amazing, highly recommend working with her! -

Confident, calm + cooperative!
From the moment we hired Emilie for our wedding at Oheka Castle, I knew we would have one less worry the morning of the wedding. She would be able to execute what every girl wanted, in a timely manner, in calm fashion, with full confidence. And that she did!
Emilie worked cooperatively with us throughout three COVID postponements, and with our makeup artists, photographers, each girl and the venue to execute our dreams the day of. Our hair looked amazing throughout the day, needing no touch ups, and we are still getting compliments to this day.

Emilie has been doing my hair for over a year now, & every time it comes out perfect. I just got married and of course I asked her to do my bridal hair. I showed her a picture of the style I wanted and she made it even more beautiful! It stayed up all day & night! I received so many compliments, she's amazing!Emilie Does My Hair's reply:

Amazing, book her!
Emilie is the best. She did my hair for my rehearsal dinner and I absolutely loved it. I got so many compliments and it stayed all night. I showed her an inspo picture (it was a pretty specific pony tail) and she just nailed it. She puts a ton of care into doing a great job and is committed to making you look perfect. Plus she’s just an awesome and easy person to work with! If you have the opportunity to book her, do it!Emilie Does My Hair's reply:

I contacted Emilie after I saw a bride's review of her work on a Long Island Facebook group, and I am SO GLAD THAT I DID! My mom and I wanted our hair done for my bridal shower. Emilie had no problem traveling into the city; she was prompt! I opted for a boho half-up, half-down look (I actually picked a style right off of her instagram page!) and Emilie delivered! She even recommended a place out on Long Island to get extensions and put in those extensions the day of!
Emilie is meticulous and extremely talented! She took her time to curl each piece to perfection. My hair is thin and it doesn't always hold, but somehow my hair stayed 10 hours + and in 90 degree heat! I got compliments all day - the boho look complimented my dress so much. I just don't have enough words to say how talented Emilie is! And the kicker? She is soooo kind and down to earth. She was incredibly patient and took her time to deliver perfection. Emily was nothing short of amazing! During my trial, I gave her a few pictures for inspiration of updos and also told her I might want to keep my hair down. She was incredibly patient with me as I'm always so indecisive (LOL) and took the time to show me my hair in a million and one styles. We ultimately decided on a boho style low bun only for me to surprise her the day of my wedding to say I wanted to keep it down. She was so incredibly flexible and gave me exactly what I imagine and then some. My curls stayed beautiful and bouncy throughout the entire night despite the summer heat and humidity that day. Braids For Days
Emily was so personable and friendly! She rearranged her whole day to accommodate my bridal trial. My thin, flat hair is impossible to curl and usually falls right out. I don’t know what she did, but my curls lasted for days! She’s really great at braids and boho style curls, but she do it all! She finished off my style with some bridal jewelry. I highly recommend her, can’t wait until the big day!Emilie Does My Hair's reply:
