We were grateful to have found Emerald Engagements to be our wedding coordinator and Carly for design services! We opted for the partial planning package because we had some things under control, but I am so grateful that Carly and Grace were on our team to help guide us through all the other things! When my fiancée and I started planning our wedding, I knew having a wedding planner was my top priority, so I spent a ton of time trying to find the best. I went through, Yelp, The Knot, Wedding Wire and just about every list I could. I compiled a list of all of the planners and ranked them by rating/recommendation. When my fiancée and I started planning our wedding, I knew having a wedding planner was my top priority, so I spent a ton of time trying to find the best. Then I went to their websites for pricing information and ranked them again by price and rating. I spent days sifting through all of these planners. Then I sent emails to 5 of them asking for information/to set up a call. I chose the 3 that responded the fastest and my fiancée (now wife) and I set up a time to talk with them. Carly at Emerald Engagements was on the short list and the fastest to reply. Carly worked with us to understand what services we actually needed/wanted and actually made us feel at ease getting a different, less hands on, package than we thought we needed. Right from the start Carly was looking out for us and that is a trend that carried through the entire time we worked with her. Anytime we sent her an email we got a reply quickly (weekends she would sometimes reply, but always by first thing Monday which is perfectly acceptable). We don't have a great eye for design, but we had a vision, and Carly really helped my wife bring what she wanted to life. When it came to picking vendors Carly went out and found us options based on my wife's Pinterest board. Sometimes my wife didn't like any of the options, would give feedback on why, and then Carly would suggest new ones. We ended up with the best vendors thanks to Carly. Though a superstar throughout the entire planning process, her skills really shined the final weeks before the wedding when all of the details were coming together. One week before our wedding, we decided, based on seating groups, we really needed an additional dinner table and she immediately jumped on the task. Within a day she sent us quotes and helped get our order adjusted right away. On the day of the wedding I arrived around 11am with my groomsmen and everything was in full swing. Carly and one of her employees were there and again, everything was taken care of and we didn't have anything to worry about. Carly had created a detailed timeline and wrangled all of the vendors. She just told us what was next on the timeline and where we needed to be! Throughout the day itself she was running the show and it all went flawlessly. While we were being bombarded with pictures and distractions Carly was constantly checking in on us and asking if we needed anything. On the day of the wedding you can't go anywhere or do anything without being mobbed or pulled away by someone and Carly is the only reason I had anything to eat or drink the whole time. She was constantly checking in on us and she really made the day go smoothly and enjoyable. A wedding planner is a significant investment, but knowing what I know now, it was worth every penny. Carly was a professional the entire time and it was an absolute pleasure to get to know her.

Carly was absolutely amazing. Hire her! Seriously, you won't regret it. We made a spreadsheet comparing 12 different wedding planners in the Seattle area, interviewed 3 of them, and Carly won in all categories. About a month before the wedding, Carly reached out to all of our vendors to finalize a timeline for both our rehearsal event and wedding day. She was super responsive on any questions we had and let us know if anything came up that needed our attention.

For our rehearsal & wedding days, Carly was on-site early to make sure things ran smoothly, and if any issues came up during the day, we were blissfully unaware. Carly & Emerald Engagements even helped fix my bustle when it broke before my husband's & my first dance.

Thank you, Carly & Emerald Engagements for giving us a wonderful wedding wedding weekend! If I could change anything about the process, I would have hired Carly & Emerald Engagements as full-service coordinators right from the start; the team does an amazing job of making wedding dreams come true.

Carly made our lives easier and crafted a beautiful experience

My now-husband and I live in Chicago and planned a Seattle micro wedding in 4 months. I know. Carly made it possible. Planning a micro-wedding during Covid-19

Carly aka Emerald Engagements is excellent at what they do and I highly recommend. My fiancé and I began planning a micro-wedding during Covid-19, and thankfully we found Carly to assist. It was important to us that my father be present for the day. Normally, we would have delayed until the pandemic has passed, but given my father's age that was not an option. Unique venue? No problem!

I found my unique microwedding/elopement venue only 3.5 weeks before my desired wedding date. I quickly hired Carly, as she had previous experience working at the location & was recommended by the venue staff. In that short amount of time, I transformed my original bare-bones hotel room elopement into a more elaborate event in a forest which included a ceremony, plated dinner and a movie screening among the stars, and Carly was there to help me every step of the way with all of my last-minute changes and ideas. Her vendor recommendations were great! On my wedding day, I was able to sit back and relax knowing my wedding was in good hands. We really couldn't have pulled it off without her!

Carly is AMAZING! I hired her as a day of coordinator but she started helping me before the big day. Wedding Planning in the times of COVID-19

My husband and I planned our small, family-only ceremony/dinner during COVID-19. Caity Fahey was our planner/day-of coordinator and she was simply excellent. Not only was she responsive and reliable, but she was exceptionally flexible with all the changes that had to be made as the pandemic evolved. Our wedding day went off perfectly and I could not have been more thrilled to work with Caity. I would absolutely recommend her services and the the services of Emerald Engagements to any couple.

She’s a god send!!

I am so incredibly thankful to have met Carly and to have had her through most of my planning process. My wedding is in less than a month and I had to cancel Carly last second because of new restrictions put into place due to Covid 19 and the way that Carly handled this situation with me itself speaks volumes to who she is and how she runs her business. Despite not being able to be apart of the actual day she continued to offer support and kind words and she even gave us a refund when she didn’t need to. She’s so incredibly knowledgeable about weddings and she thinks of all of the things that are so important...

Fantastic Top to Bottom

Carly is an absolute rockstar! We debated having a coordinator, but as soon as we met her, we knew she'd be amazing. She was always on top of her stuff (and our stuff!), super organized and reassuring. She gels with different personalities so well and intuitively knew how to be our best partner. On our wedding day, she took care of everything and it was perfect. Carly is the best - you won't be disappointed!

Could not have been happier!

They say "you get what you pay for", in regards to Carly and Emerald Engagements, it was worth every penny. A day where typically the bride and groom are mired in stress, we came out the other end having had our dream wedding with minimal effort. All of the behind the scenes work that you are not made privy to on your wedding day would make anyone question whether it is even worth it. We were not told on our wedding day but I was made aware that there were more loose ends than anyone could have anticipated and I know that because of Carly's professionalism and passion, she took on much more than was required without even being...

Carly is a joy to work with!

As mother of the bride, I so appreciated Carly's effective skills, energy and winning behind-the-scenes planning. So many attendees said this was the most fun and delightful wedding they'd attended ... and there wasn't a single snag that came to our attention, thanks to Carly! She had a very calming effect on us, and worked tirelessly to help my daughter produce a fabulous and lovely outdoor wedding. I can't praise her knowledge, personality, and skills enough. Thank you again, Carly!!!!!
