  July 23, 2011 we easily discovered the sincerity in what has been said about your wedding day being over in the blink of an eye. Time certainly flies when you are having fun. We were fortunate on our wedding day on several accounts. We were blessed with each other, our family, our friends, and our photographers that became our friends as well. In the chaos of being pulled in every direction for wedding day milestones of cutting the cake, greetings guests, special dances, and taking pictures we were able to feel like we did not miss a thing. While taking pictures we were with our photographers, who acknowledged the rushing around, gave us time alone, made us feel special and paid attention to our bouncing emotions of love, feeling overwhelmed, need for water, need for space, and need for a quick ‘how are you?’ While we have moments we cherish, there is so much of the day and night that seemed a blur. Our generous and thoughtful photographers graced us with a preview of their talent through a handful of pictures the next morning and brought the smiles we had for so long the day before right back to our faces. The pictures were from angles that captured the moment on a level we didn’t even recall on our own while trying to settle into our new lives and all that had occurred. The candid moments, the perspective of the photos, the facial expressions that lasted an instant were all caught on film and told us a story of the night that we were able to relive immediately; viewing their work was a gift itself. The posed pictures of us as bride and groom held not only memories of Jarod and I together, feeling the essence of being one from the unique poses geared toward our personality, but they held fond memories of the laughter we had while taking the pictures and catered the ability to savor the moment. We, again, have our talented and personable photographers to thank for that. Emerald Design Photography is a vendor we worked with for our wedding who became our friends simply due to the immediate respect we had for their talent and the genuine care Scott & Erica have for those they work with.

  Emerald Design was extremely flexible in every way. They personalized their services to the needs of our wedding and it was an extreme joy to work with them! They went above and beyond all expectations! Our pictures are gorgeous and we had a lot of fun during the process as well. I recommend them to everyone I know that I hear is getting married. I love the style of their photography and their work ethic cannot be beat! They are truly fantastic!!! I plan to use them again in the future any time I want wonderful pictures to remember the priceless moments in life.

  It was great having 2 photographers to catch shots from different angles. Also, Scott and Erica visited the venue ahead of time to see what the set up would be.

  Scott and Erica provide a great value for their services. They are super flexible, responsive to email, phone, and text messages, and even drove 2.5 hours out of the way to take our engagement photos. Photos do take 6-8 weeks to come back, but that's probably because they have so many clients due to their awesome work. Thanks Scott and Erica!!

  Scott and Erica were fantastic for the bridal portraits and the actual wedding. I would have hoped for a little more variety of photo's (like the bridal party photo's), but overall we were very satisfied with the photo's. I also loved the option of two photographers and receiving the rights to the negatives for personal printing. Two things I really wanted when I was searching photographers.

  Photos are great. But this couple isn't very professional. My husband commented on how they argued while doing our wedding photos. It took longer than anticipated to get photos back.
  After the wedding, we tried to get some photos for our venue to put on their website (free advertising for the photographers) and it took MONTHS!!
  Again, the quality of the photos were great. Just wish they were more professional.
