Highly Recommend Embrace the Grape for Bar Service

Embrace the Grape provided excellent bar service at our wedding! I worked with Misty and she was extremely responsive and very easy to work with. From coordinating the event/timelines to execution everything went perfectly. The bartenders were efficient and there was never a line at the bar with people waiting. I would highly recommend Embrace the Grape as a bar service for your event or wedding.

Excellent Service for our wedding

We used Embrace the Grape back in November as our wedding venue HIGHLY recommended them. Jane and Misty provided excellent communication and were able to answer any and all questions through out the entire process. My husband and I were paying for our wedding and were unsure of what we would be able to afford. We are so thankful for Jane sending multiple quotes for us to have options to decide between and having an estimate months before the wedding date. We were able to provide a hosted TIP bar and this made for very happy guests and our bartender was extra taken care of and working hard for his tips. The day went by in the blink of an eye, and our guests had lots of fun with lots of great pictures to prove it thanks to the liquid encouragement provided.

Wonderful Beverage Catering

Highly recommend Embrace the Grape for any of your bartending needs! Jane and Misty were absolutely wonderful and answered all of our questions and concerns during the planning process, and worked with us diligently to make sure we had everything we needed before the wedding. Very professional staff, and wonderful service all around!

So happy we went with embrace the grape! Jane and Misty were responsive, accommodating, and professional. We had a request of red sangria and they DELIVERED. It was so delicious! I highly recommend this company for any of your upcoming events either in STL or KC.

Best bar crew ever! Jane was so wonderful to plan with, she was THE most attentive vendor contact I worked with during our planning. The crew onsite day of were phenomenal, we couldn't be more happy. Do yourself a favor and hire these guys!!

Embrace the Grape was great to work with! They were very helpful and informative in the figuring out what type of bar we wanted to do and alcohol to provide. Jane dealt with my “bridal meltdown” on the phone a few days before the wedding...doesn’t every bride have that with the bar service?!? Ha! She helped to calm me down and make me not feel like a crazy person. Thank you Jane! Our total head count was less than our quoted amount so they changed from 2 bartenders to 1, saving us money at the last minute. The night itself was a success, nobody had to wait around for drinks as she was quick and efficient. I would highly recommend Embrace the Grape!

Great value, total pros

We had thought about trying to avoid a bar package and costco the liquor and hire a bartender. In retrospect, no way. Embrace the Grape had competitive prices, and as soon as we had the deposit in, we didn't have to think about it again. They were total pros. They took care of our 200+ crowd from one bar all night. Everyone loved them! Best value of any vendor we hired, period.

Kind + Professional!

Wonderful! We used Embrace The Grape for our October 2017 farm wedding and they went above and beyond! Easy communication and they were happy to research and provide special requests (we didn't want Coke, Sprite, etc. but local, real sugar, vintage looking glass soda bottles and they NAILED it!) Wonderful attitude and energy. Highly recommend!

So easy to work with!

Embrace the Grape was super easy to work with and did such a great job. I gave them an idea for a signature drink that I wasn't sure if they could replicate and they did without any problems and made it totally easy on my end. Jane was really responsive and our bartenders the day of were really nice and helpful.

Amazing and reasonalby priced

They were awesome and reasonably priced. Everything went so smoothly on the day of our wedding and I was not stressed about the drinks. Everyone loved that we paid for their first drink and they could redeem their first drink with the tickets that we bought. I would recommend them.

Embrace the Grape was our beverage caterer for our wedding in June, and we could not have been happier with our experience! They were the absolute BEST to work with. I had a thousand questions before our big day and they were patient and helpful! They provided several different liquor quotes for me as we decided the best option for our reception. They had great prices and tons of package options!
On our wedding day, the service was amazing! We had over 200 thirsty guests and there were two bartenders. They were awesome. They remembered what people were drinking. We got so many compliments from our guests and everyone had a fantastic time! We were overall extremely impressed with Embrace the Grape. Highly recommend for any event!

We had Embrace the Grape for our bar service at the Emaline Ballroom for our wedding reception. We had nothing but positive feedback from all our guests! They were friendly, fast, and overall did a great job. They coordinated with me to ensure I purchased the best package for my guests and were very helpful in answering questions and allowing me to customize my package. So glad we went with them!! I was in contact with Jane, starting Oct. 2017. Then I dropped off the map, had a million other things I was working on and wedding planning got pushed to the side, keep in mind the wedding was May 2018. Fast forward to Feb. 2018, I don't have a bar and I am still figuring out catering. Knowing my options are running out I reach back out to Jane, we talk numbers and what I am looking for, before I know it I have bar booked and I am extremely happy! The day of the wedding went fantastic, the ladies behind the bar were amazing, no one stood there missing the party for very long, they were nice to talk to and always had a smile! I can't remember their names, honestly, I only went to the bar once and then drinks just appeared in front of me after that, but I don't think there could have been a better team for our wedding! Jane even went the extra mile to accommodate, my Father-in-law's favorite drink! Take the time to at least chat with them, you wont regret it!

Wedding experience was the worst experience of my life (there I said it!) mostly because of vendors that made the process stressful, unclear and more difficult than necessary. However, Embrace the Grape was the opposite in every sense! From the first time we met Jane at a Bridal show (those things are the worst), she was easy going, had answers to all of our questions and guided us through the process. Embrace the Grape is the only beverage catering service we could find in the KC area that would provide our alcohol and still let us bring our favorite wine since it’s not available through retailers! Jane was quick to respond to every email, change our proposal as many times as we needed and made sure we got exactly what we wanted in all beverage categories for an full, open bar. The price was also unbeatable! Thank you for simplifying the process of wedding planning, we truly appreciate it!

Jane Monroe and her staff are very professional and attentive. They are also the best priced in town and Ms. Jane has worked with us to accommodate our request. Our bartender arrived early and stayed as long as we needed. The drinks were perfect and as requested. There were a lot of drink options as well and can make any cocktail you ask for. They also provide all cups and utensils in addition to any fruits required for special drinks. Thank you for making our day special and worry free. I highly recommend Embrace the Grape to everyone and you will find that they are one of the best in the Kansas City area.

I had stumbled upon Embrace the Grape online in February, before our December 2016 wedding and was quite impressed when I requested a quote. I promptly received an email from Jane and set up a phone call to talk over exactly what we wanted for the wedding, as far as drinks go. Embrace the Grape was not only the best value, but also had a lot of options, which was important to us since we were doing an open bar with beer and wine only. I had waited to book it, until I got an email about two weeks later from Jane again, saying she had met my mom at a Bridal show and just checking in. It was polite and professional and I was sold! They were extremely helpful and accomadating the entire planning process,
As for the wedding day, they sent one bartender for our wedding of 100 people. I was a little nervous that it wouldn't be enough or that we would run out of alcohol (we had some serious partiers and drinkers haha) but the open bar stayed full the whole night and the bartender was great and had a huge smile on her face all night! It was all so great. I wish I could use Embrace the Grape for every event I hosted, everywhere!

We are SO happy with our decision to go with Embrace the Grape for our beverage service at our wedding! The prices were great and Jane was amazing to work with while coordinating the specifics of the bar! We were a little indecisive and ended up changing things multiple times but she was amazing about updating our quote and sending it back quickly! Our bartenders--Drew and Aaron--were very professional while still making sure everyone was having a great time. We have had lots of compliments from our guests and are so impressed with the service--we could not be happier! HIGHLY recommend Embrace the Grape if you are looking for a beverage service!

My daughter and I were planning her wedding and neither one of us knew what to do for bar service. Embrace the Grape was recommended by the Emaline Ballroom, the venue we were using. I did not have the faintest idea of how much or what to order for the reception. After talking to Jane from Embrace The Grape my mind was put to ease. She told me how much alcohol we would need based on the number of invitations we sent out. I was then instructed to call her back when we knew how many guest were actually attending. Our number was about 50 guest lower than we had anticipated. Jane adjusted the amount of kegs and wine we would need. I prefer red wine and was ready to order more red than white. Jane advised me that actually more people drink the sweeter white wines. We increased the number on the white wine and decreased the number on the red wine. She was right on the money! I would use Embrace The Grape again and refer them to my friends and family. Our bartender, Drew, was not only very professional, but friendly and charismatic.

In the Lee's Summit/Blue Springs/Independence/Kansas City area go through Embrace the Grape. This company is a wonderful companion to the Emaline, and we had a great experience with them. The bartenders seemed like they were having a genuinely great time with our wedding party and guests! (A lot of the attendees were theatre people, so honestly, we know how to party and have a good time. ;) ) They do this great thing where if you serve beer, they will order one keg of each type of beer you want served. Once that type of beer is out, they will switch to bottles. This is so you don't, say, have to tap an additional keg but at the end of the night you and your guests don't finish it but you still have to pay for the entire keg and waste beer (SIN!). But with bottles, they can just charge what you end up using and they can save what bottles weren't used for another event (Smart and saves you money. Plus, NO sinful wasting of alcohol!). Our guests kept telling us how awesome the bartenders were and the bartenders kept telling us how kind and fun our guests were. All in all, nothing but great things to say.

So you, potential customer, need to...Embrace the Grape. (Corny? Yes. Did it work? I hope so.)

We have used Embrace the Grape for numerous business and personal events. We most recently used them for an engagement party and their services were outstanding, as they always are. The bartenders are professional, friendly and certainly contribute to creating an overall great environment. Whether we are using Embrace the Grape for an engagement party, wedding shower, New Year's Eve or Company holiday party, our experience has always been a great one!

The coordinator and the bartender were both outstanding. After talking with the coordinator for just a few moments, she had terrific options to offer for our guest's needs. She took the stress out of all the decision making when we were at the point of being exhausted from decisions. The bartender was responsive, professional, and communicated with us frequently as to how things were going. The price was great, too. They will definitely be recommended to anyone needing their services.

Jane and her crew are FANTASTIC! From the very beginning Jane worked with us to ensure we had the right product and also had a great creative treat for our daughter and her friends. Jane was very thorough and responsive on follow up. The day of the event, Stephanie and Shaunna got there early and were ready to roll with a smile! We worked with Jane from Embrace the Grape for our alcohol and drink service at our recent anniversary party. The service that she and her team provided was exceptional. Having to plan a wedding reception from another state can be a daunting task but when we were told about Embrace the Grape from our venue, we called then and worked with Jane Monroe. What a seamless, professional, and fun adventure we have had. The estimates they gave for our needs, the price of the bar items were spot on target. Embrace the Grape is a 5 star caterer, everything from initial discussion, cost estimates, selection of services, and professional presentation was on the money and done in a easy to understand process. I would recommend Jane Monroe....without any reservation, if you want a hassle-free, personable beverage service, Embrace the Grape has outperformed and leaves you feeling you were given the best service, it was a very successful wedding evening, thanks to Embrace the Grape and the professionalism of Jane Monroe.

I recently used Embrace The Grape for bartending services at my wedding. Jane, the owner, was amazing! She was so easy to talk to and was wonderful at guess-timating what and how much we would need! The servers were very professional and were very well dressed for my wedding! They did a great job and I will recommend them to everyone I know!

Jane was absolutely amazing! ETG bar-tending was perfect for our wedding reception. Our guests could easily order what they wanted and we even got to have our own signature drink. Thank you Jane and everyone else at ETG!

Embrace the Grape was fantastic! I met Jane at a bridal show. I was only interested in bartending services because I was set on buying my own liquor at Costco. Jane gave me a bid for an open bar for all of my guests, including bartenders, drinkware, garnish, etc. The price was unbeatable that I couldn't make it not make sense. After we booked, Jane kept in contact with me and was always so upbeat and complimentary of my wedding "vision"/theme. Jane made it so easy for us. I received amazing feedback from our guests on the friendliness/appearance/speediness of the bartenders. Highly recommend!

Embrace the grape was amazing at our wedding! They accommodated to our special drink request, they had all the mixers, and we got a lot of choices for the price! The staff were so great to work with along the way as well. 10/10 Would recommend!

OMG Embrace the Grape was AHmazing! From the moment we met with them at a Bridal Expo we knew we wanted to go with them. They are SO accommodating and were willing to go the extra mile when it came to alcohol selection as well as set up. I was not expecting to get to choose so many choices, from liquor to wine to microbrews to soda, ETG has got it going on! Our guests were thrilled as well, and I don't recall seeing lines at all at the three bars at our 200 person wedding!

Excellent in every way. From beginning to end, Jane and her team were awesome. Jane took the time to talk to us about what would work with our budget, and helped execute our vision for the signature drinks. Her team on the day of the event went above and beyond.
