    Stress-Free, Pet-Friendly Winter Wedding Perfection!

    We had the most INCREDIBLE winter wedding at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Minneapolis Airport, and we cannot recommend it enough!!!

    The biggest selling point for us was having everything on-site. Having the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in separate, dedicated rooms-without the need for 'flipping' spaces, made the day feel effortless. It was also a huge relief that the hotel is extremely pet-friendly. We were allowed to have our dogs stay at the hotel with us, and one was even able to be our ring bearer during the ceremony!

    Our planner, Taylor, was absolutely AMAZING. She was so attentive to every detail and truly brought my winter wedding vision to life. The entire staff made us feel like royalty; they went above and beyond with the decor setup, and the food was PHENOMENAL!

    A few 'pro-tips' for future couples:

    The Cleanup: They let you clean up your decor the next morning. Not having to tear down a ballroom at midnight is a total game-changer.

    The Breakfast: The free breakfast spread for guests is top-tier and a great way to see everyone one last time.

    Stay an Extra Night: We stayed an extra night after the wedding to decompress before the honeymoon, which I highly recommend.

    Our winter wedding was BEAUTIFUL, and honestly, not a single thing went wrong. Thank you to Taylor and the entire team for making our dream day (and our dogs!) feel so welcome.

    Couldn't have asked for a better venue

    From our first walk through at the embassy suites, we wanted to book it for our wedding. Taylor was amazing to work with, she was so helpful and organized and made everything so easy. Her team of vendors were also great to work with. We really wanted an all inclusive venue and thats exactly what we got. Every idea we had, Taylor was right there to help us with a plan. And everything turned out so beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding team ❤️ Taylor and her team went above and beyond and made our wedding day so special!

    Exactly what we needed

    The entire experience was geared toward delivering a classic, elegant, fun reception without all the fuss. All the vendors associated were excellent and Taylor coordinated it all wonderfully, so we did not have to worry. If you want a stress free experience, use this vendor.

    Thoughtful

    This vendor location was the major reason as my choice. The Social Catering Manager played a pivotal reason in honoring our special wedding ceremony. The staff did an excellent job during the entire process...
    Make no mistake, I would do it all over again with Catering Manager Taylor and her staff.

    An amazing venue for your wedding reception, especially if you have family coming from out of town!

    We had our wedding on 01/06/2024 and I am so glad we chose Embassy Suites! Taylor was amazing to work with from start to finish as were all the staff. The planning process was as stress free with them as wedding planning can be and all questions were answered quickly and they went above and beyond to help us where possible. The room set up day of was fantastic and I didn't have to stress about it for one second, it was all done for us and done very well. The getting ready space was amazing for me and all the bridesmaids! Also all our family from out of town was very happy with the provided room block and being able to stay so close to the airport and at the reception venue. Pricing was also very reasonable for everything that was provided!

    13/10 would recommend this venue for your wedding!

    We are so thankful we ditched the trendy barn weddings and went with the hotel's one-stop-shop option. We worked with the coordinator Embassy provides, Taylor, and she was phenomenal. The entire process was very smooth. We had our rehearsal dinner at the hotel, buffet style in Woolley's north. We did the Italian buffet and Woolley's knocked the food out of the park. The chicken marsala melted in my mouth, and all of our guests loved it. It was so convenient to just stay the night as well before the busy wedding day started. We were able to be in the new bridal suite, and it looks so lovely, and perfect getting-ready space. The groomsmen got ready in our honeymoon suite because it was HUGE. It had a living room area with a couch and then a room with a circular table, so they were comfortable in there. There was a perfect flow from the ceremony into the atrium, to the cocktail space in Woolley, and then to the reception in the Itasca room. The buffet was so good, we are still getting compliments on how good the chicken and salmon were. Not to mention the fantastic catering staff that came with it. Then to top if off, we were able to work with Taylor who is so on top of everything, she really made our experience great!! If we could do it all again, we'd definitely do it again here. 13/10 would recommend!

    Wedding event experience

    We were very pleased with our wedding event at Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport. All of our needs were met while hosting the groom’s dinner, cocktail hour, reception, and gift opening. Taylor, our wedding coordinator, did an amazing job making sure every detail was handled and she went above and beyond in making sure the decorating was even better than we imagined. The food throughout the weekend was fantastic. The entire staff was courteous and professional. It truly was a stress-free weekend and we would highly recommend Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport.

    We are very happy with our wedding day

    We really enjoyed our reception at Embassy Suites MSP airport. Taylor did an amazing job at organizing and making sure everything was in order in the reception hall, taking the stress away on the day of our wedding. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the room looked. Taylor was delightful to work with and always attentive to our needs. She worked seamlessly with our DJ and cake provider. All Embassy staff was professional and attentive to our needs and those of our guests. They helped make our day successful and we were able to relax and enjoy our day. We are very happy with our wedding day.

    100 out of 10!!!

    We had a small simple ceremony in the Wooley's North area, everything was beyond amazing. Taylor definitely went above and beyond to help up, including making a gorgeous menu for our guests, decorating the table with lining cloth, the floating candles and floral. Taylor had even checked in the day of, making sure I was ready and if there was anything else I needed prior to the ceremony. What really made it even better is that Taylor did what she should to make sure my day turned out for us and our happiness, I did have an uninvited guest show up to the ceremony and Taylor was ready to escort them out if need to, just so our day turned out perfect. I honestly could not thank Taylor enough for all the help and work she had done to make our day just that much better!! I am definitely reaching out to her for our future events.

    Great communication

    Taylor was great to work with and helped us coordinate our day down to the last detail! We did an Indo-Western wedding, and she helped us figure out how to piece it all together from the decorations to the food. The day of, Taylor was there to make sure everything was running smoothly and ready to make any adjustments necessary. The other staff were also very friendly day of and made everyone feel welcome!

    Excellent Venue on such short notice

    With only about a month or so to plan a fairly tail wedding, Adrienne and her team handled the venue and did amazing. They had excellent communication, a beautifully decorated room, and very tasty food. As the coordinator for the bride and groom It was a please working with Embassy Suites.     A perfect venue!

    Everything was absolutely PERFECT for our daughters wedding! The venue was spectacular and beautiful having been newly remodeled! Very classy! Our sales and event coordinator, Adrienne Halterman, was amazing and so fun to work with (friendly, efficient, organized, very accommodating, excellent communicator and was always timely in her return of emails and phone calls!). She's a new family friend!! Her Food and Beverage Manager and staff were extremely friendly and so accommodating with "anything" we ever needed throughout the entire weekend (always with a genuine smile and great attitude)! We had the rehearsal dinner, wedding in their atrium and reception in the gorgeous ballroom, as well as, opening gift reception the next morning (all at the hotel) which was SO SLICK! Our guests never had to drive anywhere else! The hotel rooms were very clean and spacious. The Bridal Suite (which had an attached sleeping room next to it) was perfect! And of course the airport right across from the hotel was extremely convenient for our out of town guests!! The front desk staff was amazingly efficient and friendly! We were also so very impressed that "all" of their employees (food servers, housekeeping, front desk, sales, maintenance, etc.) always had a smile on their faces and were so very respectful, which proved to us that it's a great place to work! We would absolutely schedule another wedding/event at that hotel! A huge thank you, from our families, to everyone at the Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport for a job well-done!

    Made wedding planning easy!

    I would recommend 100 times over! Adrianne is amazing to work with. She took what I described to her and brought it to life. We had postponed in 2020 due to COVID and nothing was lost when we started planning again. Everything was PERFECT!

    Couldn't Have Asked For a More Beautiful Venue!

    Such a beautiful venue! We loved the Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport when we first toured it with the catering manager Allie Zimmer. The recently remodeled atrium was a picturesque backdrop to what turned out to be a wonderful wedding ceremony. Allie was very well organized and knew exactly how to plan a perfect ceremony and reception. The reception room was well decorated as well. The catering crew was very quick and attentive. We received numerous comments about the delicious food that was served at the reception. Allie made the whole daunting process of planning for the wedding very smooth and painless. We would recommend Allie and the Embassy Suites to everyone that is looking for a place to host their wedding!

    Beautiful hotel and superb staff!

    Allie and the Embassy team made our wedding planning SO easy!! The packages make everything simple and straightforward. I had a vision for a little different ballroom set-up than the standard and Allie worked so hard to accommodate it...it was beautiful. The chef and all staff were top notch and our guests raved over the food/late night snacks/drinks. The location and amenities were awesome for our guests as well, we couldn't be more thankful we chose the Embassy!!!

    Perfection

    As the mother of the groom with the bride’s family out of state, I really appreciated Allie Zimmer’s professionalism and organization. Allie was always helpful, calming and caring no matter what came up. The rehearsal dinner, cocktails and reception were perfect! We received many compliments on the wonderful staff and the perfect food.

    Magical Day

    Our Wedding Reception, Grooms Dinner, and Sunday AM breakfast were all first class. Allie Zimmer helped with all the planning and set us (Mom and Dad of the Groom) for success. She was easy to work with and her suggestions set our service apart.

    My wife and I received countless compliments on the friendliness of service and the quality of food. It was simply the perfect event.

    Worth the Money - Reduced my stress

    I absolutely loved this venue. Allison was amazing and so helpful throughout the whole process. She relieved a lot of stress from the actual wedding and I couldn't have been more grateful. I loved that there was a package that included the cake and flowers; that was two fewer vendors that you had to deal with. The price is definitely worth it! The service, food, and venue was phenomenal!

    Loved everything!!

    Allison was amazing to work with! The food was delicious and the way everything was setup and decorated was amazing! I was given a bridal suite to get ready in with my family (the girls!) and we had our ceremony in the atrium which was beautiful by the way! Everything down to the music, cake, and setup was perfect!

    Sharp wedding

    Allie and her crew did an amazing job. She made sure that I didnt have to worry about anything and she made us feel so special from the year before when we booked through the entire event. She was always timely and listened to any concerns. She always had a smile and was ready to accommodate us. If you're looking for great value and a really special day I would recommend this venue and Allison Zimmer as your wedding planner. (She comes with your event when you book it there).

    So Awesome!!

    Our wedding at Embassy was so amazing!! New renovations are so modern!!! Our reception hall was like a nightclub. I cannot say enough kind words about how great Allison and Elix were. Everything went so smoothly with them at the helm!!
    We will always have such amazing memories of our wedding @ the Embassy by the Airport. Big perk too is that it is right on the Light Rail 5 mins from the Airport. So if people come from out of town they don't have to rent a car.

    An amazing one-stop-shop

    We are SO GLAD that we chose Embassy Suites for our wedding reception! Allison and her crew were absolutely amazing. Any time we had a question, she had an answer--and so many helpful suggestions/ideas, too! The food was great, the decorations were really beautiful, and we didn't have to worry about taking care of a thing. Allie had it all down!

    I admit, I wasn't sure how well a hotel conference room would translate into a reception space, but the end result was truly breathtaking. It was everything I wanted and pictured in my head. It was really, really beautiful.

    We really appreciated how the Embassy was truly a "one-stop-shop" for the reception. They took care of the food, they handled the wedding cake, they even had an easy way to add on the DJ. If we'd needed, they would have totally covered centerpieces/bouquets, too. It was worth every penny to not worry about last-minute details or finding "the best" deal somewhere on something.

    Having a complimentary room the night of the event was a huge relief, too, and setting up a room block for guests was super easy. (You can even save x amount before you get charged for no-shows, which is awesome!) We upgraded to the corner suite (ooh la la) for only $20 and it was SO worth it. Treat yourself and do it, too!

    The only thing we'd say is if you want a big dance floor, make sure to really stress that because it sort of got lost in translation for us, so we couldn't really dance our first big waltz.

    But overall, we are so, so happy with our reception and especially with Allie, who is absolutely *amazing*. 5/5 stars

    The Embassy Suites team went above and beyond

    Allie, Bob, and the entire Embassy Suites team went above and beyond in every way to make our reception an unforgettable and stress-free night. My mother and I were attempting to plan the reception from out-of-state and relied heavily on Allie for her recommendations and expertise, and she exceeded out expectations at every turn. The timing, the space, the decor, the food, the drinks, the rooming arrangements - all perfect. Our guests had a fantastic time and we couldn't be happier with how our reception turned out. The Embassy team truly are top notch experts and I am so grateful for the team for their hard work and flexibility to make our time with them extraordinary.

    Flawless, Worry Free Dinner & Reception

    Allie was ABSOLUTELY awesome to work with! I will admit, as we went along the way it was hard to picture the end result. Allie answered every question we had and was so accommodating and honest with us. There was not one guest that was disappointed. Allie was helpful from the beginning with planning through the end of the night at the reception. The wait staff was also AMAZING! We had a large head count and I was concerned about serving plated meals and guests receiving cold food. That was NOT the case here. The food was spectacular!! The s’mores bar was a huge hit! The only complaint of the night was that they didn’t leave the s’mores bar out long enough. Our bartender did a MAGNIFICENT job as well. He was quick to get people through the line and made drinks to perfection. The DJ was also GREAT! He played the songs as discussed during planning and kept the dance floor full all night long. The price was unbelievably an EXCELLENT deal!! I HIGHLY recommend!

    Love, love, love this place.

    Allie and associates were easy to work with for the planning our wedding reception. The food and decor was tastefully done. As a nervous bride, Allie took care of everything. No Worries!!

    Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport Staff turly AMAZING

    Allison Zimmer is truly Amazing!! My Bride and Groom Mr & Mrs. Wilson wedding was so beautiful, everything ran so smoothly and this would not have been possible without her help.
    Your public space staff was great with the set up and cleaning the atrium before and after the ceremony they were so helpful with any request I have made.

    All of the banquet staff too were so wonderful, their set up of the room was beautiful. Their assistance in my requests before the reception were speedy and helpful.
    I'm not sure what the banquet manager name was but he was AWESOME! So very helpful and kind. "This guy know his stuff!"

    Hats off to the Chefs and all the severs. The food was wonderful, Hot, and served with a smile, the banquet staff clean up was also very speedy. They were all very nice.
    Also thanks to the Front desk staff who assisted in some of my requests and they also provided great customer service by helping move some of the guests from our room block who had problem with their rooms.

    So again thanks to all for your quick responses and professionalism at all times.

    I will definitely refer your services and the Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport location to any future clients looking for event space.

    Excellent Coordination

    I was the photographer for a wedding at the Embassy Suites and Allie was instrumental in gaining the needed space for the important shots for the family. As a hired hand myself, I was able to see her personality and attention to detail make the experience enjoyable for the guests. She spent the night hustling, serving and interacting with the guests.

    They were great! I started out with Allie as my event coordinator but unfortunately she left towards the beginning and I was told I had Sarah. And Sarah did amazing! She made sure all my concerns were taken care of and made sure that everything was in place on the day of our wedding. It was such a stress free day and I loved being able to enjoy it instead of worrying about things. She took care of absolutely everything. The event staff were awesome they kept checking to make sure everything was okay and made sure that I always had something to drink! Thanks again for the stress free day and the most beautiful ceremony/reception!

    I had a wonderful experience working with all of the staff at the Embassy Suites. Even though they were in transition during the preparation time for my wedding, they were all on top of it and did a great job keeping in touch with me. They helped make my reception beautiful and very memorable.

    My wife and I selected Embassy Suites because of the great location, easy proximity for guest travel, and the great service we have come to expect from the Hilton brand hotels. We had an amazing day, and the catering and hotel staff made the day go off seamlessly. We had a small ceremony for just our close family and friends, but having the extra company of the guests watching over the ceremony was great. From planning to finish our process lasted 5 months, but with the help of the event coordinators, it was easy to process! Thanks Embassy Weddings! Our coordinator even took care of some last minute chaos, we didn't have to worry about anything! 5 stars across the board! Any way my wife and I could get that amazing room we had?

    A special thanks to Allie and Renee for making our wedding planning fun and easy! They provided only the best vendors, and we knowledgeable in all aspects, even if it was simple choices we wanted to go for, making the event just a bit more personalized! Allie, you were great!

    I would HIGHLY recommend the Embassy Suites Airport for a wedding reception or other event. I really can't say enough how perfect our day was and that is much thanks to the staff at the Embassy for being so detail oriented. Our vision for our reception truly came to life and there was not 1 thing that we were lacking or unhappy with. The food was PERFECT. The service was PERFECT. Every single detail was PERFECT. I can't tell you how many comments I heard from different people about how it was the most gorgeous wedding reception that they had ever been to! If you're looking for a classy, elegant, and delicious! wedding reception... Embassy Suites Airport is the perfect place to go.

    We found this to be an excellent venue for our wedding! We live in DC, but the bride is from the Twin Cities, so we had to do most of our planning long distance. We worked with Renee, who was incredibly helpful and informative. Anything that we wanted to do from a signature cocktail to tweaking the schedule of events, she made happen for us. They were very transparent with the pricing and made things easy for us. There were no surprises at the end.

    We had a great time and found them and their recommended cake, DJ, and flower vendors wonderful to work with and of excellent quality. We had a great experience down to the last detail.

    I was the personal attendant at a wedding (both ceremony and reception) last weekend and the staff at the Embassy were amazing! Allie and Adrienne, the event/day of coordinators, were wonderful. They were so organized, helpful and kept everything moving smooth the entire day. They thought of all the things we forgot and did it with a smile on their face! The ceremony and reception space looked fantastic and the we received so many compliments of how beautiful everything was. Their hard work and positive attitudes were much appreciated! Thank you for everything you did to make the weekend so much fun!

    My (now) husband and I decided to have our wedding the day after Christmas. My husband is active duty military and a Christmas wedding was the only option for him to get time off. I was nervous that planning a wedding around a major holiday and in the depths of Minnesota winter was going to be next to impossible. The Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airpot made the impossible - possible! I could not have been luckier to work with the wedding coordinator Brittany Cekalla. She was incredibly accommodating and easy to get in contact with via email or telephone. I chose a package at the Embassy where Brittany pretty much coordinated all aspects of the reception for us - the set-up, table decor, food, DJ, drinks, late night snack (Chicago-style hot dogs), and tear down. Brittany was also full of suggestions on vendors for photography, limo service, and flowers. We actually went with all the vendors she suggested and were incredibly pleased. One really nice aspect of having the wedding at the Embassy Suites was the ability to bring in our own wine (and only have to pay a small corkage fee). Our guests were extremely comfortable all night and it was really nice to have the reception right at the hotel where they stayed. We could not be more thankful to Brittany and the Embassy Suites management and staff for helping make our wedding day so wonderful.

    We recently had our cocktail hour and reception at Embassy Suites and everything went great! We would highly recommend this as a wedding venue.
    We recently moved to the area and wanted a venue who would help us in our planning and that is exactly what we got. We were able to choose a package that fit our needs in addition to adding things a la carte to our reception that were not included in the package. All the vendors we used through Embassy were awesome (DJ, bakery, etc) and made our planning so much easier!
    I did make it slightly less than 5 stars only because we noticed a few things did not even get put out that we had described we wanted used and provided to the venue (centerpieces, added decor we had provided) and because there were a few moments during dinner and prior to the dance that just seemed chaotic because of the lack of organization with the staff but this wasn't enough to cause any serious concern and everything still looked great! Also, our coordinator only checked in with us once during the whole evening but again the night turned out great!

    Absolutely Amazing!!!

    We got married at Embassy Suites a year ago and we had the best experience! Everything went flawlessly and better than I could have dreamed! The venue was stunning, the food was so good, and the wedding coordinators (Allie and Adrienne) were literally life savors! I never had to worry about anything because they had it covered! The wedding day was perfect! We are so appreciative and grateful for Allie and Adrienne! We highly recommend booking a wedding at Embassy Suites!!

    The Embassy Suites did a fantastic job with your ceremony and reception. Everything was really beautiful, the food was great and everyone had a good time! You get so much for your money, and their packages save you a lot of planning and money. The only complaint I had was that the seating chart diagram wasn't to scale so some of the tables we wanted close were not where we had planned them to be. Also, do not underestimate the service charge and tax, it was a shock how much that adds up! But overall, it was a fabulous venue and I would recommend them to anyone!

    Our reception was perfect. I was planning a wedding out-of-state, and the fact that they have packages made it so much easier for me. The caterer, decorations, flowers, cake, and DJ were all included in our package and since they had worked with Embassy Suites before they were familiar with the location and what works best which made it easy on me. I did not have to interview different caterers or DJ's to find the right one. Everything was great. The cake was delivered, the flowers are delivered and set up, the hotel set up all of the decorations, and the catering is done in their own kitchen, so I didn't have anything to worry about. Everything was beautiful, the staff was great and everyone was very helpful throughout the entire planning process.

    We had our reception here, as well as our guest room block for after the wedding. The only negative thing I have to say is that we booked our date a little over a year in advance, and within that year this venue went through 3 different event coordinators. Each time a new person was hired we had to meet with them again to rehash the wedding details that had already been planned. Aside from that, everything else was fantastic! Our guests are still raving about how it was the most fun wedding reception they've been to and how beautiful the ballroom was.

    We went with a wedding package that included catering, cake, and the DJ in the pricing. I was a little worried that since we were coordinating it all through the Embassy Suites that we would end up with sub-par vendors for the cake and DJ, but we definitely didn't! The bakery they go through is Buttercream in St. Paul - best cake I have ever tried! And the DJ was from Midwest Sound and he did a fantastic job! Our guests danced the entire time. The food is catered through the Wooley's restaurant on-site and it was amazing - even the vegan meals were delicious. The only limitation with our package was that we could only choose chicken entrees or pay more for something else or to have multiple entree options. We opted to stick with the chicken and our guests still loved it.

    Brittany is the final coordinator we ended up working with and she is fantastic! She was completely on board with my vision and was able to set up a lot of the DIY pieces I made for the wedding myself (including centerpieces). She was extremely responsive and helpful, and she also uses some great tools to help you really picture what the room will look like on the big day. There was a slight hiccup with our billing after the wedding and she as also very fast to response and resolve the problem.

    Overall, I am so glad we chose this venue and would highly recommend it to future brides!

    We had what I think is the smoothest wedding planning EVER!! The Embassy organized our cake, flowers, centerpieces and other details, and I feel like we just had to show up and everything was taken care of. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. We had the ceremony and reception at the same site which I highly recommend. Our guests are still talking about how great the service was and how easy it was to have everything under one roof. We even did our rehearsal dinner at the hotel and they gave us 20% off all of that. It was a flawless, amazing fun weekend we spent there and our family and friends will always remember what a great time it was!

    The Embassy made planning my wedding so simple and stress free! They took care of all the details I didn't have time to prepare for. I would recommend Allie and Renee to anyone! Our day was better than we ever expected due to their fast responses and attention to detail.

    Overall, I had a great experience, and loved the reception. It was beautifully decorated, and it was nice to not have to handle the details. I do have to say that our dinner was a little slow being served, and there was quite a delay between the end of dinner and the cake being served. There was another reception going on across the hall, and I do believe that the same staff was serving both dinners, hence the slow service.

    The best thing about the Embassy Suites is that they give you almost your entire reception in one package. For the price of the package, you get the dinner (buffet or plated), hors d'oeuvres (served butler-style!), a champagne toast, cake (from Buttercream, which is fantastic), cake serving, and flowers (from Stems & Vines). For higher packages you can also get the DJ, limo, and upgrades on the linens, flowers, etc. This package-style reception (we held our ceremony somewhere else, though you CAN do your ceremony here too) made planning the wedding so much easier.

    The price was very reasonable considering all the services you're getting. It's charged per-plate, and the 3 packages have different minimum plate counts (50, 100, or 150 plates). They have a pretty good menu selection, with a vegetarian dish that's an actual meal instead of a side salad.

    Of course with a "package deal" you have less flexibility because you can't choose your own caterer, florist, etc. but the convenience of footing only one bill makes up for it.

    The only reason I give them 3 stars instead of 5 for Quality of Service is because they served the WRONG DINNER at our reception. By that time of the day I didn't care; I was having such a great time that I just let it go -- but it's still a pretty big mistake to make. They served the right vegetable side with the wrong main course.

    Overall, though, I would recommend them, especially if you have a tighter reception budget. Book well in advance! We booked 10 months before our wedding and I think if we had waited even a few more weeks, they wouldn't have been available. There were three weddings there that night including ours.

    We used this vendor for our Grooms Dinner/Rehearsal Dinner.
    We initially contacted this venue after we read on other vendor reviews they will negotiate per plate fee. We had a huge grooms dinner so needed to bring down the per plate fee. They did just that which we appreciated. The service was good the day off and the food was good. I was working with 2 sales people and that was a little confusing because they weren�t always on the same page with our event. This ended up burning us in the end when they charged us $150 for AV which was never discussed with us. I asked about using a TV that was already in the room to play a 3 min. DVD (again already in the room) and was told that was �fine.� From what I can tell now, they assumed the other sales person told us about the fee but based on email trails it was never discussed. When I brought this issue up to them after we were billed, they were slow to respond to emails and then said, they would only make us pay half, which I don�t believe is ethically right if a fee in generally was never discussed. Long story short, we�re still waiting for this issue to be resolved 3 weeks later. The room/food met our needs but the people we worked made it more work than needed.

    Food was amazing! However the room we had our food in had a leaking ceiling! Luckily it was in the corner and didn't affect anyone, but was a little embarrassing. Hotel really needs some updates, rooms too. Before the wedding the wedding teams responsiveness to me was excellent. However, the day of the wedding, we had barely anybody there in advance to help guide us. Overall I'd say for the money, it was a pretty good venue. We made it great!

    Everything was going well with planning our wedding at Embassy Suites until our event coordinator quit 6 weeks before our wedding. The event manager stepped up and was really accommodating with us. She worked with us on planning two unique ceremonies and agreed to cater food that is not usually on the menu. She was very thorough with us the entire time prior to the wedding, her team was even kind enough to help with a last minute addition to the centerpieces. I was so excited abour the location; however, on the day of the wedding quite a few things went wrong that we just couldn't overlook. First, we ordered appetizers that were not on the menu and the event manager confirmed that we would have them, yet on the day of they didn't deliver on them. Before the wedding we were told that we could take photos in the atrium as long as the guests cleared out of the main area to make room for a hotel social hour. We were in another part of the atrium when the event manager told us we had to leave and make more room for the hotel guests. There's not much scenery outside so the atrium was one of the few places to capture nice photos yet once again the event manager didn't stick to her word. We started dinner and one of our plates came with the wrong vegetables. How does this even happen? Instead of having a nice sautee of multiple vegetables, our plates were presented with cheap green beans. We had paid good money to have our event there and were pretty disappointed by how mis-managed the event was. I will say that their catering and serving staff was really friendly and helpful even after the wedding. The other thing to keep in mind is that you don't get a room to get ready in the day of your wedding and check in is at 3 or 4 pm so you pretty much have to rent a room for the night before the wedding.
