We used Major as our officiant for our small outdoor wedding ceremony in WV. He did a great job and was a true professional. Jen was easy to get a hold of, for communicating any details or reviewing the plan before the big day. My family appreciated Major’s style of being charismatic, with sweet words and some light humor. Would recommend their services to anyone in the area! -

His eloquence and professionalism shone through every moment, ensuring that our vows were not only exchanged with love but also with reverence. He also took the time to consult with us to include two meaningful traditions into our wedding program— a wine blending ceremony and jumping the broom. His experience proved invaluable as he made sure to locate and cue all significant aspects of our ceremony that morning. Major and his wife Jen made our special day even more special. We used the Elopement chapel and had our family in attendance, they were extremely welcoming and friendly to everyone. Major spoke during the ceremony like he had known us for years. We were extremely happy with our decision!! -

Jennifer and Major are absolutely amazing!!!! We are thrilled that we choose them to coordinate our wedding in our backyard. Jennifer has been so patient with me and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I couldn’t say enough good things about them. Professional, kind, personable, and SO GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO. What started as a surprise intimate ceremony for my soon to be wife quickly morphed into our actual ceremony amid COVID, and this team was ready for the challenge. They tirelessly worked to help us find a venue, organize all our vendors, and hammer down every single detail. Jennifer, our primary coordinator, made herself available at the drop of a hat and genuinely helped us feel better every step of the way. Because of her, my one piece of advice post marriage is getting a coordinator. Not just any coordinator, but get one like these folks- smart, savvy, compassionate, flexible, and willing to learn. We worked with them to organize a Hindu Ceremony and a Christian ceremony, and Jennifer was willing to understand and learn every single ritual we hoped would become a reality. I cannot say enough that she was our lifeline the entire way. We would not have had our perfect wedding without them. HIGHLY recommend! -

Major Clark was the officiant at our wedding and his wife, Jennifer, was our day-of-coordinator. My wedding ceremony was my favorite part of the day! Major's speech was beautiful, tailored perfectly to our needs, and my guests complimented how it was sweet and just the right length. Having Jennifer there on my wedding day was a great help. She made sure the procession went well, vendors were all set, and helped make sure we stayed on schedule. Both Major and Jennifer were a pleasure to work with! -

If you're looking for a quality, flexible service for someone to marry you, this company has it down! My (now) husband and I decided that after getting engaged only a few months prior and contemplating all the options of weddings, receptions and EVERYTHING in between that we just wanted to marry each other in a small ceremony just the two of us. I read the reviews for this service on Yelp and turns out it's all true! Jennifer was expedient with a response to my inquiry and they even provided me a customized package (we literally just needed a person authorized to marry us in VA). I didn't use the name change service or have music or anything so I thought the reduced price for the basic service I needed was totally worth it! The transactional part was easy and everything was done online including payment. I had a phone interview with Major, our officiant, and he was very engaging and asked a lot of questions about us as a couple. He really wanted to get to know our story! I felt an instant connection so I booked. Major wrote the most beautiful civil ceremony customizing a script for us. He gave the opportunity for us to provide feedback and comments. The script was so perfect we didn't change a thing! Major was on time to our ceremony and performed it beautifully! Him and the Elopers staff truly made our day stress free and so special! Needless to say, I highly recommend this service! -

Major and Jen were everything we could have hoped for in an officiant service. Since neither of us lives in the DC area, their proxy service was a huge life-saver and time-saver. Communication was prompt, detailed and they easily walked us through the process. They even checked out our ceremony location a week ahead of time to familiarize themselves with how to handle the big day! The ceremony itself went off without a hitch and our whole family was charmed by Major's words and relaxed demeanor. Thanks to both Jen and Major for making it easy to enjoy our big day! -

Stress Free & Very Responsive
We found Jen & Major through a google search when we first had the idea of eloping in DC. We had no idea this service existed and had an amazing experience with them! Very responsive by email, helpful with recommendations & flexible for plans and timing when the incoming weather looked horrible. Their knowledge and help made the permits, planning & ceremony so simple and stress free so we could focus on our special day. What a happy day for us and friends, moments we won't be forgetting anytime soon. =) Just the outcome we wanted! Thank you! -

Jennifer was so professional and friendly, and helped us with any questions we had. When there was a last minute roofing issue with the building, she got us set up in a new location seamlessly. Jennifer was a terrific coordinator, making sure every step went smoothly, getting everyone where they needed to be, when they needed to be there. Major was super professional yet friendly, and was a great officiant. The whole event was terrific and beautiful, in very large part due to Jen & Major. Thank you so much! -

She understood my worries and gave me comfort every step of the way. Never once did Jen give me the impression that I was annoying her with all my questions and concerns. The same goes for Major. As far as the venue....mind blowing!!! Spectacular!! Beautiful!!! Breath taking!!! More then what I expected and my guest loved it!!! My husband was overwhelmed with the venue and the service that Elopers provided. He says that I've done a great job by choosing Elopers. Our perfect day was hosted by the Eloper's "A Day of Forevers"

K Sent on 07/25/2018My husband and I wanted to have a simple wedding at the courthouse, but once family caught wind of such a low key setting they were upset it wouldn't include them. So instead we made our engagement party a surprise wedding. Jen was super helpful over the phone providing details and information. Saeed was amazing during the ceremony. We just wanted something short and sweet and he totally hit the mark! Elopers were available even on a short notice. Our day was super special and my guests were definitely surprised and had a great time. Thank you so much for uniting our two families into one. We highly recommend your services.

Rebecca Sent on 06/07/2018Major and Jen were amazing! Our wedding turned from an elopement into a small ceremony and from an outdoor event to an indoor (thanks to rain). They were super flexible, and they made sure the day went perfect. I started planning the ceremony before I moved to the area, and they made sure I was aware of everything I'd need to consider. In the weeks leading up to the ceremony, I had a ton of life changes going on and failed to plan some key things (like music, flowers,...). Jen made sure we were taken care of so the day was perfect! And Major was awesome as well! We were super grateful for their help and guidance. I highly recommend them for any ceremony! -
