Ellie was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From the moment we met her, she was kind, thoughtful, and so genuinely personable. She has this calming presence that instantly put us at ease, yet she also knows how to hype you up and make you feel like absolute stars in front of the camera.
She somehow managed to be everywhere without ever feeling intrusive — capturing every moment so naturally, like she was a part of the day rather than just documenting it. Our friends and family kept commenting on how fun and easy she was to be around — they all said she was the best wedding photographer they've ever experienced!
Her editing style is absolutely stunning — timeless, emotional, and true to the vibe of the day. We were blown away when she sent us sneak peeks within 12 hours of our wedding night (which was so special to have for posting on socials right away), and our preview gallery came back so quickly and beautifully curated.
Ellie is the real deal — talented, professional, and just a joy to work with. We couldn’t recommend her more highly! -

Having Ellie as our photographer was the best decision we could have made! Her work is truly beyond words—it’s a masterpiece, absolutely stunning in every way. From the start, I felt so confident that she would capture everything perfectly, thanks to the amazing meetings we had beforehand. I still can’t believe how lucky we are to have had her as our wedding photographer. Not only is Ellie's work absolutely amazing, she is such an incredible human. Working with her was a dream and I loved every second of getting to know her. I truly felt such a connection with her and so comfortable, which is not typical for me in front of the camera! Ellie and Taylor are the best in the buisness! We hired Ellie and Taylor for our daughter's wedding last weekend. Ellie and Taylor we absolutely amazing, they were everywhere the whole entire day, from getting ready, the limo ride, the church ceremony, the venue they captured the entire wedding from start to finish!
Their communication, their vision, and their photos are spectular. Ellie brought Andrea's vision to life and soon we can relive the entire day with the wedding video over and over again.
We started communicating with Ellie about a year before the wedding, Ellie has a questionaire, she studies the bride and groom! She wants to gets to know the couple she is photographing! When we saw the engagement photos Ellie took we knew she is truly the best photographer in the industry!
It was a pleasure working with Ellie and her team! We highly recommend them!
If you need a photographer Ellie McKinney was recommended to us over and over again. We are so glad we chose Ellie and her team! -

Absolutely hire Ellie!
Booking Ellie as our photographer was one of our favorite decisions from our wedding! She has incredible energy and is so authentic that she puts you at ease immediately. We did an engagement session (highly recommend!) and she made us feel so comfortable the entire time. On the actual day of the wedding, she did an amazing job of coordinating all our loved ones for photos and made our first look feel incredibly special. We absolutely loved our photos and even got a sneak peak 24 hours after our wedding while everything was still so fresh. I can not recommend her enough! -

Ellie is so sweet, she was a bright light on our big day and I was so happy to have her there. I had to reschedule my wedding because of COVID and messaged her to see when she was available. The sneak peaks she’s provided are absolutely amazing. She sent out emails throughout the whole process asking if I needed anything. I could go on and on about my love for Ellie McKinney, so I'll try to keep this short. I found Ellie through our wedding planner, Aneesa Glines (Harmony Weddings and Events), and from the second I saw her photos, I immediately knew I had to meet her. We had a few other things in common that made me realize it was fate for our paths to cross!
Ellie is the most organized, detail oriented person I know. She strives for perfection in all that she does, and boy, does she deliver! My husband and I had never had professional photos taken before, but you would have no idea from looking at Ellie's pictures. She made us feel comfortable, but more importantly, brought out our authentic selves. Her photos are moody, sexy, and edgy, yet whimsical and deeply romantic at the same time. She captures raw and real love- nothing ever feels too posed.
Apart from our wedding planner, Ellie is the best money we spent on our wedding, and I cannot wait to work with her again someday soon! -

Ellie is amazing!! All of our photos turned out breathtaking and perfect. She took all my suggestions into account and made it happen. We got our photos back quickly and could not be happier. For me photography was one of my most important venders and she went above and beyond. She is so nice, organized, and great to work with. -

Ellie was first recommended to me by my wedding planner, Aneesa Glines (Harmony Weddings), after I described the overall vibe I was going for for my wedding-- classic, romantic, with a flair of modern. Ellie’s photos immediately caught my eye because not only were they unique and edgy, but they were also timeless. I didn’t want the typical engagement/wedding photographs with the cheesy poses or overdone backdrops, and Ellie was the perfect fit to make magic happen! She is so sweet and down to earth and was able to get my now husband to actually enjoy having photos taken and got him out of his awkward poses. Our engagement photos received so many compliments from friends and family because they were unique and we also looked so natural which is all thanks to Ellie! At our wedding this past weekend, Ellie was able to capture every photo we could have ever wanted and was so flexible as we were saying hi to all our guests and getting impromptu photos during it. She also worked beyond seamlessly with our other vendors and was able to help guide the day in such a smooth manner. So much so that I never noticed what all was going on to get the shots and was just able to relax and do my own thing while knowing Ellie was capturing everything I wanted at the same time. The sneak peeks we were given are absolute perfection and have me SO excited to see the rest of the album and get to relive the best night ever every time we look at them! I so look forward to working with Ellie to capture more of our life moments after our wedding. Hire her!!! -

Ellie is amazing!!
Ellie has been amazing though every step of the way!! She did our small ceremony my bridal portraits and our big wedding! Being a covid bride she was amazing, support and gave me hope when everything was going down hill. She worked with me through multiple wedding date changes and has been so kind through all of it!! Our pictures came out amazing and she made me feel beautiful every step of the way! I could not have asked for a more supportive and genuinely kind woman! I will definitely be working with her again and again with all the mile stones we will have going forward!! Thank you for everything Ellie!! -

Ellie is a stunning photographer! She made us feel comfortable from the moment we meet her. We did an engagement shoot with her and I would highly recommend doing that because it was then such a relief to see her on our big day because she was already a friend. She captured some amazing moments for us! It was raining on our big day and she was right there to calm me down and offer new photo locations as well as taking us outside the moment the rain let up. We are so incredibly happy with our choice to have Ellie as our photographer. We will definitely be going back to her for our family photos in the future. If you book Ellie, you are booking a friend. -

Ellie is an absolute dream to work with. She is so kind, patient, and communicative. Perhaps most importantly, she will really understand the vision that you have for your special day. We could not have been happier with our pictures and she truly captured the essence of our love and of our celebration. The wedding album she compiled for us was stunning and we were amazed by how many options she offered. There is a style available for everyone!
She also allowed us to take family photos instead of doing an engagement shoot (at no extra cost) because we are a blended family, and she made the experience fun (even for our initially less than excited kids). The pictures are gorgeous and made perfect gifts for family members.
I also did a boudoir shoot with her and literally told her I'd hang out in my underwear with her any day. Ellie made the experience so comfortable, like chilling with one of your girl friends, while also managing to make me feel beautiful and sexy.
Ellie is a gem and you will be so glad having her capture any moment or event for you! -

Bengali Garden Party
One word ... Ellie McKinney is phenomenal. Honestly there aren’t enough ways to express how much we LOVE her and her work. We are so thankful to have had her shoot our garden party, our engagement and are super excited she will be coming with us to Ireland this summer to shoot our western ring and Irish blessing ceremony. She is beyond professional, has the sweetest personality and is truly an artist in the way she captures a moment in time with her lens. We will forever highly recommend Ellie McKinney Photography! -

Ellie is wonderful! We hired her for our wedding and although we didn't get to meet in person beforehand, the second she walked into the venue she was so personable and sweet. She made me feel like we had been friends for ages. Her photos are to die for and I will use her for all my photo needs in the future! -

Instead of flat out refusing to shoot our wedding she rearranged her schedule so we could have a photographer at our ceremony. Ellie arrived early the day of the wedding to check out potential locations to photograph the wedding party. From the moment she arrived until the moment she said goodbye I don't think she slowed down a bit. She was constantly running around taking photographs. She also provided us with more photos of our wedding then we initially thought we would receive. So many beautiful memories to cherish thanks to Ellie. Her easy, relaxed, friendly demeanor put everyone at ease. Although I didn't know Ellie before the wedding I feel my husband and I feel through this experience we have a new friend. I have included a few photos Ellie took of our day which perfectly demonstrates her talent.
