Working with Em Bridal Team was a wonderful experience from the get go. They communicated promptly and clearly about scheduling, were receptive to feedback at the hair and makeup trial, and were an absolute delight to have around on the day of while we were all getting ready. Everyone that had their hair and makeup done loved their looks and looked fantastic the whole night. I loved working with this team and wholeheartedly recommend them. -

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the EM Bridal Team, and especially my stylist, Brooklyn! From our first consultation, she was incredibly sweet and took the time to truly understand my vision for my wedding hair. Her warmth and professionalism instantly put me at ease.
Brooklyn offered fantastic advice on hair extensions and colored my hair to perfection, matching exactly what I had in mind. I felt absolutely stunning on my special day, and I owe so much of that to her talent and expertise!
Not only did she work magic on my hair, but she also made all my bridesmaids look absolutely beautiful. Everyone felt confident and radiant, which truly added to the joy of our wedding.

Loved Everything
The thing about EM Bridal Team that was the best part for me (other than loving the hair & makeup) was the fact that they were great at communication. Once I secured the booking date, Elizabeth was quick in helping me plan the start of the day and then all I had to do was wait for them to arrive on the day of. If you are bride looking for services you know how sometimes it is difficult to get responses back in a timely manner when you are trying to plan basically a 24 hour party for 200 people. This is a trusted team and you cannot go wrong booking this one! -

Amazing Experience!
Kenna came to my Airbnb to help me get ready for my elopement. She knew my vision and exactly what would look good on me and what would last all day. She pushed me outside of my comfort zone (with fake lashes!) and I still looked exactly like me! My hair lasted all day during a very hot hiking elopement! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for an elopement style that will make you feel just like you and last all day :) -

Kait and Elizabeth made my wedding hair and makeup experience better than I could have dreamt! I prefer extremely minimal makeup and Kait knew EXACTLY when to push me out of my comfort zone (knowing what would ‘pop’ in wedding photos) and when to give me choice in what I wanted to add or pass on regarding makeup. The airbrush makeup stayed on all day during my late July wedding.
As for hair- I brought my own hair clips in, asked for a half up twist, showed 1 or 2 inspo photos, and Kait took it from there! She knew exactly how to make my hair look beautiful and last all day!
EM Bridal Team charged a fair price and made my wedding day so much easier and extremely special 🥰 -

Amazing team
From first contact to final product I was incredibly impressed by this team. They were great at communicating and truly made me feel special and beautiful. My make up still looked flawless when I took it off that night-and we partied hard AND took pictures in the rain AND cried quite a bit. It lasted through every emotion you can think of. Everyone on the team from Beauty by Elizabeth Marie was delightful to work with. Elizabeth communicated everything very clearly and her prices were much more reasonable than other vendors I looked into. She was also very willing to be flexible when I needed to make some changes after signing the original contract (adding makeup services instead of just hair, and dropping a bridesmaid who ended up not being able to come). Carla, my hair stylist, was incredibly sweet and a wizard with bobby pins. She gave me the perfect updo for my wedding day and it stayed in place all night! Mercedez, my makeup artist, was very friendly and able to give me the exact look I wanted for my wedding day. The hair stylists who helped my bridesmaids and the moms were also lovely as well. I would recommend this team to anyone! -

Highest recommendation possible!!! I had Elizabeth do my makeup and Malia do my hair for my wedding and was truly blown away by how amazing I looked while still looking like myself AND they were such a pleasure to work with. I had other family members and bridal party also get hair and makeup from the team and everyone was so happy with it and loved how they looked. I have naturally curly hair that I wanted to embrace for the big day but polish it up and Malia did such an amazing job. The makeup was incredible, the airbrush foundation was especially clutch. I was so happy with how I looked and best of all, it stayed like that for the entire day and night despite dancing my heart out. Book them! -

Mt Baker Elopement
Elizabeth (makeup) and Kaitlyn (hair) were the absolute dream team for my intimate mountain elopement! I had some ideas of what I wanted for hair and makeup and they exceeded my expectations! It was 40 degrees and raining and my hair and makeup looked beautiful all day. Absolutely recommend for your wedding or any other event! -

I really enjoyed working with Elizabeth's team for my wedding day hair and makeup! Kenna did my makeup, and Erika did my hair, and they both did a wonderful job! I really appreciated how much they listened and cared about me looking my best on such a special day. After my original trial run, I wanted to make a lot of changes, and I exchanged many emails with Elizabeth who was SO incredibly kind and understanding of the changes I wanted to make, and made sure to pass them along to her team. The day of, I felt like they really understood what I wanted to be different, and helped my vision come to life! They were so sweet and encouraging the morning of the wedding, and helped calm some of my nerves, and truly made me feel so special! Very grateful to have had them as part of our special day! -

So amazing!
I cannot say enough good things about my makeup and hair experience during the pandemic. Above all, Brooklyn and Kennedy listened carefully to what we wanted, and all of my bridal party looked gorgeous and natural. During the pandemic, they worked with me when we had to move our wedding date, and even were flexible when we had to see how the weather would turnout for the weekend we planned it the second time. They were able to treat all different types of hair and haircuts in a way that made them look wonderful! My naturally curly hair was able to shine, while also staying out of my face, and our makeup was just what we had hoped for with an outdoor wedding. Thank you!!! -

Gracious and flexible in the midst of COVID
Elizabeth, Brooklyn, and Mercedez were all wonderful professionals, who helped make my 2020 wedding feel special in spite of everything. Elizabeth was fantastic to communicate with throughout the whole process. I really valued the COVID safety precautions they took; when a stylist had been potentially exposed, Elizabeth reached out to let me know and rescheduled graciously. The whole team made it feel like a safe and fun experience. Brooklyn executed my wedding hair vision FLAWLESSLY. Mercedez was talented, flexible, and really good-natured when I requested things (like different style fake lashes) or when one of my bridesmaids was, uh, a bit demanding; she took it all in great stride. Planning a wedding is extra-stressful these days, and I SO appreciate all these ladies did to make me feel cared for and beautiful. -

Completely relaxing and reassuring
This review is a little long, but if you're a bride, planning a wedding, you want to know the details. Let me tell you, having a bomb hair and makeup team makes your day so special and takes away a lot of stress. The best part of your wedding is that you get to marry your soulmate surrounded by those you love. The second best part is finding your vendors and establishing relationships with them. They are the ones that make the details of your vision come true. For me, one of the harder searches was for makeup. My fiance had never seen me wear makeup and I knew I wanted to wear it for the most photographed day of our lives. We are engineers, we live off grid in a short bus we converted together, and we were getting married at the Lairmont Manor where you cant quite wear overalls at the altar. I wanted to match the elegance of the day but was also intimidated when searching Pinterest for "bridal makeup" trying to find a look I wanted to go with. I also needed someone who had a team that was able to handle all of my bridesmaids, bridesman, flower ladies, mother, MIL, and Gram. Enter Beauty by Elizabeth Marie. When I found her online, I read something in her write up that stuck with me - she loves all things pretty and loves making sure freckles are highlighted and can shine through if they're wanted. I emailed her (a super long word vomit, really) about what I was looking for, my (very slight but still very real) anxieties about my future husband seeing me with makeup at our first look, and in her response I just knew she was the person for me. I went to her three times for getting my makeup done and trialed. I used her for my engagement photos, boudoir photos, and another time just for fun when getting my hair trial (with Brooklyn!) to make sure I looked like what I envisioned myself as a bride. I also got a facial from her and lets be serious- your face will never thank you more than letting Elizabeth work her fingers on it. By the time the big day came around getting my makeup done was like getting to chat with a friend who had the perfect soothing excited energy for that moment. While getting my makeup done was when I actually realized I was getting married. Elizabeth has this incredible way of making you feel calm, reassured, and almost protected from the external pressures of being a bride. Then you see yourself all done up you can't help but feel confident and ready to take on the entire day. She also can do wonders for your under eye bags, which is one less thing to stress over. The only guidelines I gave her was I wanted everyone to have a natural beauty about themselves and an updo. Each person got to select colors for their eye makeup and what they were comfortable with for their hair. Her team was quick and efficient rotating through my group of nine. She even got to my bridesman, which really made my bridal party look cohesive and feel their best on such a beautiful day. Having everyone select the colors they were comfortable with and their hair style gave everyone their own flair without it feeling or looking too controlled or structured. Looking back on the day, even if I had a small wedding in a backyard (or even if we eloped!) I would have still wanted Elizabeth and her team do our hair and makeup. She can match any formality of occasion and make you and your party feel incredible. The hair and makeup starts the day with everyone feeling their best. It really sets the perfect tone for your perfect day! When choosing Elizabeth you can rest assured you're going to look flawless and feel your best. Its almost like part of her makeup artistry is pulling your nervous bride self out of your shell to make your natural beauty radiate through. -

I had a great experience working with Elizabeth who helped me schedule a make-up artist for my wedding! I had never done airbrush make-up before and was worried that I would not like it, but Elizabeth was very responsive to my initial e-mail and was super patient and helpful as I had a ton of questions. She booked me with Kennedy who was amazing! She was easy to work with and helped me decide on a look that I would like. We did a run through which was great because it helped me make decisions for the big day (lip color, eyeshadow color, did I want blush? etc. ). The day of, Kennedy did myself and 4 of my wedding party and got us all done on time. The make-up looked great and lasted all day! I am so glad I chose to do this and not risk trying to do my own make-up :) -

Elizabeth should really change her company name to "magic by Elizabeth Marie", my goodness - this woman knows how to make you feel like a million bucks! Elizabeth listens to what you want, will give you advice if you don't know, and ensures that you look like you!
I hired Elizabeth and her team for my bridal party and I's make up in October. At my trial, a friend who came with me (wasn't in the bridal party) watched Elizabeth work her magic and wanted to get her makeup done the day of - it was no problem to add on.
I was a little worried on how Elizabeth and her team would get 7 people done the morning of the wedding but they did it with ease!
Elizabeth, Santana and Kennedy arrived at the hotel on time (maybe even a few minutes early), set up quickly and got to work.
Although Elizabeth and I discussed the look at my trial, I appreciated that Elizabeth asked me in front of the bridal party what the look was for the day, so everyone was on the same page without me looking like a complete control freak.
Elizabeth covered up the tattoo on my back that just barely showed through the lace (showed through enough to think maybe there was a stain or something). Some how the airbrush did not wear off on my dress and no one even remembered there was a tattoo back there!
If you are spending money on a good photographer and/or videographer you should spend the money to make sure your makeup will radiate through the images - and for that you need airbrush.
Elizabeth, and her team, are a calming force whose work stays true throughout the tussle and bustle of the day. -

Elizabeth Marie is incredibly gracious, flexible, and above all, talented! I couldn't recommend her more highly for her wedding services. I got in contact with Elizabeth only a few weeks before my wedding after a trial with a different service that didn't work out. Even though it was last minute AND she already had another wedding scheduled that day, Elizabeth was able to schedule me for my wedding day and we did a full trial as well! Elizabeth was sweet, warm, and calming throughout the process as well. I am so very grateful that I got to work with her.
I chose Elizabeth because of her emphasis on natural beauty and helping you look like the best version of yourself. She fulfilled those expectations and more! She understood exactly what I was requesting and created a look that went perfectly with the vibe of the wedding. As a redhead I was especially pleased with how her work complemented my skin and hair tone. I felt like a dewy, glowy princess with Elizabeth's help!

Santana with Elizabeth Marie Makeup was AMAZING!! She made me and my wedding party/family look stunning! She was SO polite, professional, and just incredibly good at her job! Santana has such a talent for applying flawless and stunning makeup, while still making the recipient look/feel like themselves. I have literally never felt so beautiful! When we did the trial run, I had to pick my jaw up off the floor as I was AMAZED – who knew I could look that good (if only you could see the hot mess of a face poor Santana had to start with)?!

Not only did she give her time to an event near to my heart but she made me feel gorgeous and relaxed during that experiences.It felt serendipitous to book her for my wedding in the fall. Elizabeth and her team for hair and makeup were amazing!
First, Elizabeth was so easy to communicate with and was very quick about responding to any questions I had. She was very organized and on-the-ball about getting the makeup trial scheduled so we could explore options for the big day.
My bridesmaids and I had such a fun time with Elizabeth and her crew, it definitely was the perfect start to the wedding day. Her team doesn’t just help you look amazing, but also gets you feeling amazing with all the joy they bring for the special day.
Our wedding day was a full day event with the ceremony in the early afternoon, a cocktail hour and dinner reception later. We needed to start getting ready at 8 am, and I wanted to make sure that our makeup would last all day. Elizabeth and her team are punctual and efficient so we had plenty of time to get ready and it was perfect how well the airbrush makeup stayed all night (even through tears) and didn’t feel heavy. The quality was well worth the investment. Elizabeth did an amazing job finding a balance of glam to stand out on this big day and staying true to my natural look and personality. I had so many compliments from guests and our wedding pictures look wonderful! Elizabeth is a true joy and I’m so happy to have worked with her!

Santana with Elizabeth Marie makeup made me feel and look amazing for my wedding day! She applied the perfect balance of glamour without the look being too heavy...it was perfect for my low-key Lummi Island wedding! The makeup wore well throughout the ceremony and into the evening. Above all she made me feel like I was already beautiful and all she did was enhance what was there. Santana was easy to work with and very flexible. I would highly recommend her to any bride! -

Doing a makeup trial beforehand helped out a lot as well. We were able to try out a look I wanted and then go from there. I remember having to try on multiple lip colors because I just couldn't seem to find "the one" and she was so patient and willing to try out all the colors. If you are thinking about booking her...do it!

Jaclyn Sent on 10/21/2017Choosing Elizabeth to do my wedding makeup was one of the best decisions I made regarding my wedding. She was SO sweet, and brought such a peaceful presence!! Setting up for the wedding was stressful but getting my makeup done was a relaxation break. I don't typically wear a lot of make up and Elizabeth did a FABULOUS job keeping my face looking light and pretty, instead of cakey and overdone (like I've had in the past from other artists). The airbrush makeup was a dream. I cried, sweat, and got cake smashed in my face, and the makeup STAYED perfect! I was picky about my lip color and Elizabeth was so accommodating and patient to help me find a color I loved. My bridesmaids loved her as well!!
She is seriously talented and can do so many different looks. I fully recommend Elizabeth Marie Makeup for any wedding! -

I was SO excited to hire this team for my wedding in Deming, WA. Communication up to signing the contract was great and I felt like they could do exactly what I wanted. But once I signed the contract, it was hard to get in touch. I was told to speak directly with my artist on what I wanted. I was asked multiple times to share a photo of myself & my inspiration. And after each time it felt like they simply threw away my email because a few weeks later when I checked in they'd ask for the same thing. Two weeks prior to my wedding I reached out to discuss logistics. I was told by my artist she didn't handle that info and to only speak with the owner about it. I was off put at this point that it felt like they truly didn't care about my day. That I had to chase them down to repeatedly share what I wanted & then had to reach out to multiple people for day of logistics with zero outreach from them. The day of Kenna was very sweet and kind, but the first thing she said was "so what do you want". I was so disappointed that she clearly did zero prep or bothered to look at the inspiration I had sent to her at least 4 times. I asked for light pinks and my eyes to pop - and to avoid a dark eye. She gave me a dark brown eye, no pinks, and my eyes felt heavy and dark, nothing about them popped. I was incredibly disappointed. The original false lashes they put on were too much so I had them switch to a different set. The eyelash glue from the first set wasn't taken off and more was just piled onto my eye. It felt so poorly done and my eyes bothered me all day. I think they put zero effort into my wedding since it was an elopement and only for my hair & makeup and one other girls hair. I put a lot of trust in them based on what I saw on Instagram and felt the quality of my day was awful and honestly had me in tears. I did not feel the most beautiful version of myself and was so horribly disappointed.
