Laura was fantastic to work with for my wedding! She made me feel comfortable instantly and was the ultimate hype woman throughout the wedding process. Gradys did an amazing job on my dress alterations and the dress fit like a glove with the perfect hem height for dancing and a beautiful bustle! They also helped me with a veil and alternations for my mom's dress which made the whole process that much easier. I am in love with my dress and would not hesitate to recommend Laura and her team for any of your dress or wedding needs! -

Came here to find a wedding dress and left with two dresses and a veil! Thank you to the Elegant Forever team who went above and beyond from last minute scheduling to steaming my dress to always staying one step ahead.
This shop is organized, clean, and really pretty inside. I tried on a few different styles and was surprised by the variety. Elegant Forever offers exclusive designer wedding dresses, professional in-house alterations, and a truly personal experience that stands out from every other bridal shop in Frederick.

From the moment we stepped into the Elegant Forever Bridal store, I knew we had found something special. I’ve visited several bridal boutiques across the DC metro area (Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.), and none of them compared to the level of care, selection, and expertise here.
Here's my breakdown:
Experience & Service: The staff greeted my friends and family by name and treated us like a VIP group with no pressure, just genuine encouragement and expertise.
My bridal consultant listened carefully to my vision (style, silhouette, fabric, and budget) and presented gowns that matched my taste (not what was easiest to sell like I sensed at another store).
I had multiple fittings with their in-house alterations team. Having alterations done on-site was a lifesaver!!! They also helped me pick accessories, veils, and undergarments to complete the look.
Dress Selection & Quality: Their bridal gown inventory is vast: from classic A-line and ballgown styles to modern sheath, mermaid, boho lace, illusion neckline, off-the-shoulder, and plus size bridal gowns. Many of the dresses were from top bridal designers, including exclusive collections I hadn’t seen elsewhere in the Washington DC / Maryland / Virginia region.
When my preferred style wasn’t in stock, they offered custom orders and helped me tailor the design to my body and preferences.
Value & Transparency: Pricing was transparent upfront (they didn’t tack on hidden fees). The team worked with my budget and even recommended alternatives that looked similar but were more cost-efficient.

I can’t say enough good things about Elegant Forever in Urbana, Maryland. I visited so many bridal shops across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC, but nothing compared to this one. From the moment I walked in, I felt calm and taken care of (like family). The boutique is private, peaceful, and so beautiful.
The staff made the entire experience special. They listened to what I wanted, pulled gowns that matched my exact vision, and helped me find the one that made me tear up the second I saw myself in the mirror. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime “yes to the dress” moment.
Their selection is incredible. This store has designer wedding dresses that look like they belong on a runway, but with prices that are actually affordable. I had a wonderful experience with Laura at Elegant Forever. This is a smaller shop but the service is much more intimate versus other bridal shops in the area. I fell in love with a dress! Also had onsite alterations on the second floor. -

I truly cannot say enough great things about Elegant Forever Bridal Boutique. We arrived and were so sweetly greeted by my bridal consultant, Laura. She made it feel like we were walking into an old friends house and made us feel so welcome. She pulled out a few dresses and was so happily receptive of what I did and didn’t like. She made as all laugh and really took the time to get to know me, my story, and my upcoming wedding.
Going into my first bridal dress appointment, I was nervous about how I would look and feel in a wedding gown. Laura made me feel so comfortable, and beautiful, continuously telling me how great I looked in each gown. She was so patient with me, allowing me to try on and re-try on multiple gowns, and was just as excited as I was when I found my gown. I left with a gown, and a friend, and will look back at this experience with so much happiness for the rest of my life.
I’m not only excited to go back to Elegant Forever Bridal to see my gown in all her glory, but to see Laura once again. She made the experience so magical. Laura, from the bottom of my heart, thank you thank you thank you. -

This place was a saving grace. It was the last place I made an appointment and it did not disappoint. They were so friendly and very patient. I tried on multiple different styles until I found the one. The alterations department was amazing as well. I went back a few different times to get it altered and each time they were thrilled to see me and did such great work. My dress fit like a glove on my wedding day too. -

Purchasing a wedding gown from Elegant Forever was a beautiful experience. Laura will forever be a truly special memory of this wonderful time. She took the care of my sister, the bride, very personally. Every step of the way she helped make the wedding gown selection and fittings a delightful process. Luba, the seamstress, made the gown uniquely Rebecca’s. The gown was exquisite, perfect.
After the wedding day, Laura’s care did not stop. She carefully cleaned the wedding gown. Although the hem of the dress enjoyed a bit of rain, you would never know it. The dress looks just as new as when we pulled it from its lovely garment bag to lay it out for Rebecca’s special day.
At Elegant Forever you will find Laura, a dear woman who will truly take delight in making your dreams come true.

Incredible Alterations
I purchased my dress out of state and needed alterations done on the dress. I am SO happy I chose to take my dress to Elegant Forever! Everyone there was so kind and welcoming. Due to covid and family being out of town, I attended both appointments alone and felt very comfortable and well taken care of. I almost felt like they were treating me like family! My dress was ready for the 2nd fitting within only 2-3 weeks! All kinds of alterations were put in place including adding structure to the inside of the dress, hemming, and adding a bustle. They also explained to me in detail how the bustle worked and took photos of it to help me explain it to my mom and sister to do it after the pictures were taken. I highly recommend them for alterations on your dress!
Please note that I have posted before and after photos. In the before picture, you can see that the dress does not fit well in the chest area and isn't flattering. Afterwards it looks absolutely PERFECT!

I was a last minute bride who decided to do a small ceremony in two months and have a bigger ceremony when the pandemic ended. Laura at elegant forever was very accommodating and able to help me find the perfect dress and schedule fittings within one month. -

I called the boutique when i was already in the downtown frederick area. I had no appt but when Laura did answer, she assured me that she could find a dress for my niece, the bride, and that she could squeeze my niece in at 1pm. Im so glad we waited because it truly was an experience. The hour is reserve only for the bride, my niece got one on one attention from Laura and jovanna. My niece thought she knew what she wanted but the expertise of laura and jo opened her to new possibilities. She said yes to a beautiful dress and we couldn't be happier. Laura was able to discount the price and throw in some extra accessories. In the end , it was almost 50% off. I'm so happy such a boutique is located in frederick, it truly was an exclusive experience where the bride was not rushed and felt heard. She is happy with her dress and i am happy with the service and affordability of it all. Thank you Laura and Jovanna. -

Here’s the tea: I visited all the “top-rated” bridal shops in Washington DC and Northern Virginia. Some felt rushed, some felt stuffy, and some were like “here’s three dresses, good luck.” Then I walked into Elegant Forever and it was like walking into a Pinterest board with champagne. ✨
You get the entire boutique to yourself. No crowded fitting rooms, no random people watching you cry in tulle. Just you, your besties, and the nicest bridal consultants on the planet who somehow read your mind and your vibe.
My stylist? A literal gown whisperer. She asked what I liked, what I didn’t, and then pulled a dress that made my mom cry in 10 seconds flat. The owner made sure my alterations were perfect, not “close enough,” but “wow, you look like you stepped out of Vogue.”
Other reasons Elegant Forever wins:
They carry exclusive designer gowns (and yes, the sparkle is real).
The shop is spotless, calm, and feels like luxury without the attitude. They let me bring my own drinks and my family.
Parking is easy (looking at you, downtown DC).

I had a nightmare of an experience with Elegant Forever Bridal. I brought my dress in for alterations 6 months before my wedding. During my consultation visit, Laura and her seamstress examined my dress and quoted me a price. They were very pleasant to work with and the price was reasonable. Fast forward to just 1 month before my wedding, out of the blue, Laura tells me she is assigning me a new seamstress who unfortunately charges much higher rates. Even though I had not requested any additional alterations to be made to the dress than what was originally quoted. Laura said there was additional lining in the dress she didn't see during the initial consultation, which she would have to charge me for. Laura said if I did not want to pay the hundreds more, I could take my dress somewhere else. I was completely shocked that Elegant Forever put me in that situation, especially when nothing changed on my end. Not being able to pay new high price, I was scrambling just 1 month before my wedding to finish the alterations myself alongside my grandmother. Elegant Forever refunded me only a portion of what I had payed already, not the full amount. Absolutely horrible experience. I felt that it was a bait and switch on their part. I did not ask for a new seamstress, and it was their mistake not seeing all the lining during the consultation, so I felt that since they made those changes and mistakes, they should have honored the original quote they gave me. They had six months to look at my dress. Why did it take them so long to discuss this with me? It was a nightmare.
