Absolutely crushed it

Bob has the patience of a saint and the kind of professionalism that you only get when you really, really care about your couples and love your job. We threw this poor man so many curve balls, from me being completely unorganized and fully lost in the planning process, unconventional wedding parties, an order of events that was slightly outside the norm, three sets of parents to have dances with, you name it and we had it. He took all of it in stride and read the energy of the room to a T. He played the perfect mix of classics and newer music. At no point did I know what was coming on next but I was excited to whole time to see what he was playing next. He coordinated with my photographer like a champ, met with us twice in the lead up and was always just a phone call away, and made our day so fun and special. Unbelievably grateful for you and all your hard work, I could say thank you a million times and it still wouldn’t be enough!

Great all around experience.

From the beginning, Bob at Electric Blue was quick to respond and very professional. He was willing to meet when we were available and knew all the right questions to ask. Bob was also very helpful when we chose our music and gave us several suggestions that we ended up using. I would absolutely recommend Electric Blue.

Best DJ service

We used Electric Blue DJ service for our wedding, and I am still thinking about how great it was 6months later! They met with me prior to the wedding to help pick out all the songs I wanted and to ensure we did games/ activities and to talk about the expectations at the wedding. They were very professional and had different tiers. This helped me as I had a bit of a smaller wedding (~50-60 people) so I was able to go with a less expensive option, and they did have some add on options, options to pay for additional time if we wanted etc. I cannot thank them enough for making my special day so memorable. Would recommend over and over again, not just for weddings by any event that may need a DJ!

Bob Rocks!!!

DJ Bob with Electric Blue was absolutely fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for a better party host! Bob kept the hits coming and the sound quality was fabulous. We cannot recommend Bob and the Electric Blue crew!

Fan Favorite Photo Booth

A photo booth is a great way to get some pressure off of the photographers, everyone is all dressed up and wants pictures. They brought tons of props and the guy running it was really funny! They printed multiple strips so everyone in the photo could have their own copy. We got several compliments on it. They also gave us a USB with all of the pictures so we could see how silly everyone got. Definitely recommend!

Amazing Job!

Bob did an amazing job at our wedding, we had some specific music timing requests, some oddball timing/activities during the ceremony and he nailed it! Kept us coming back to the dance floor, everything ran super smoothly!

Bob was awesome!

Bob was very easy to work with and very responsive during our communications. We threw him a few curveballs with some traffic because of the st Patrick’s day parade and he had to hoof it up a very narrow stairwell to get to the dj booth but took it all in stride and was great.

Excellent DJ services

Electric blue provided services for my wedding. We used bob as our DJ. Bob was very responsive, answered all of our questions and provided us with a long list of song suggestions that gets the guests dancing. Our guests were on the dance floor from start to finish.

Wonderful experience. Professional and flexible.

We are completely satisfied with all services. We met the owner personally at an open house for wedding vendors. It was a pleasure chatting with Bob and learning what his company has to offer. It was Bob who discovered we had been double booked at our venue of choice on our wedding day. He immediately notified us so we could remedy the situation. Who knows how long it would have been before we realized if he didn’t. Thanks Bob! They were so helpful, understanding, and flexible in rescheduling and planning for our event. It was a major help in an already stressful situation. Thanks to him we had enough time to reschedule all our other vendors. Justin was our DJ for the big night. E Blue thankfully can do video conferences where you meet with Bob and your DJ to plan for your entertainment needs. We always prefer in person meetings, but we lived far from their office. Both Bob and Justin were very professional and covered all potential wants and needs, music musts for ceremony and reception, and a thorough form for wedding party names, special dances, other traditions, etc. Justin was a great DJ. He arrived well dressed for the occasion and was very personable and well spoken. He engaged the crowd very well and was able to observe and play the best music to keep everyone dancing and well entertained. He was happy to play requests throughout the night, and he even extended an extra hour because no one wanted to leave. (Though he was willing to work longer) All in all, they were great. They made it easy and fun. Thank you Bob and thank you Justin for a great experience and great entertainment! We wish you the best, and if you’re still around in twenty years, we’ll be calling you back for our anniversary!

The owner Bob and our DJ Justin both exceeded our expectations and helped give us the wedding of our dreams. From helping us choose the perfect songs, to making sure everything ran seamlessly- they helped make our special day that much better.

An Excellent Wedding DJ

Bob, from Electric Blue DJ Service, did a fabulous job DJing our small (80 guests) wedding reception at Stablegate Winery. The dance floor was rocking almost the whole time, & many guests told me how much they enjoyed the music. Our process & communication with Bob was great, from start to finish, and he played many of the songs on my playlist (and people also loved the tunes he selected). Highly recommended!

Fabulous!!!

Justin and Bob were awesome. Bob sat w my husband and I for several hours prior to our wedding to establish musical preference and ceremony cues. Justin was our day of DJ and he rocked it. Everyone danced. His MC skills were on point and we just enjoyed the night. Thank you very much

Absolutely wonderful

Bob is such a terrific person. He made time to sit with us and go over what we wanted. He listened to our requests, made suggestions for things we forgot to think about and incorporated it all together for us.

You would be silly not to hire electric blue dj

Bob with electric blue dj went above and beyond. They have the whole package. The photo booth was a huge hit! Electric blue made our wedding flow perfectly. He kept the party going. We had more questions than answers going into the wedding about how everything was going to work. Bob sat down with us and went step by step. 11/10
Thank you so much for making our special day perfect. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. Worth every penny ( in comparison to other DJ's he is VERY well priced)

We worked with Bob and his team for our wedding and I can not say enough about them. Justin was the DJ for our wedding and our requests and needs were met and all of our guest couldn’t say enough about how fun our reception was! The Photo Booth with Kyle was a HIT!!

The Absolute BEST in the industry!!!

We were absolutely thrilled with Bob and Electric Blue when we had our wedding December 10th 2022 at The Greenport in Hudson NY. We went over all of our song choices and he was so easy and awesome to work with that he made everything just flow. The DJ sets the tone for the wedding and controls everything from intros, to first dances so we knew we were in good hands. Our night was so amazing we actually asked Bob to play for another hour because everyone was having a GREAT TIME! I can’t say enough good things about him! Definitely hire Electric Blue you will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Best Capital Region Wedding DJ

I think we found DJ Bob on Google since we only visit the Adirondacks a couple times a year but he absolutely made our wedding experience. Bob made sure that things were as we wanted them before as well as all during the wedding! He went over pronunciations, settled our likes and dislikes, and most importantly: set up a plan for the ceremony ahead of time! I cannot tell you how many times I have been to a wedding and the ceremony music is wrong or can't play-and couples absolutely freak! We had no such problems with Bob. The ceremony was FLAWLESS!
Bob then checked in throughout the night and was so flexible on timing and typical events. He recognized the awesome party vibes our group had and even checked in before staring slower paced events. We cannot thank Bob enough for his professionalism and enthusiasm. We cannot recommend him enough. If you need a DJ for any event, get BOB on you team, ASAP!

The Works!

Frank and Bob are simply amazing!! Frank officiated, Dj'd AND did some volunteer photography at my wedding! The planning process was very smooth and organized. We spoke on the phone, texted, met up twice to discuss our special day. He was genuinely eager to make our day as perfect as we dreamed, and that he did. He is one all around talented guy! Great experience, personable service

Bob partnered with us to make our wedding and our son's wedding a very personal experience. He helped us plan each part of the event, encouraging us to do what felt right to us. At the wedding he would tune into the crowd and kept the party going. Family and friends could make requests. Bob loves what he does and take to heart what means the most to you. Flexible despite Covid & a great DJ!

Electric Blue DJ was so easy to work with and so flexible with us despite Covid changing out wedding plans 3 times. I loved that throughout our wedding night our DJ, Bob, would come and check on us and make sure he was playing music to our taste. We had a blast and the dance floor was never empty!!

Just perfect!

Our DJ, Justin, did a great job and really understood and played to the crowd. The dancing was non-stop because Justin kept the energy going all night long. He made the wedding about us and interjected himself the perfect amount to keep the celebration rocking. Electric Blue DJ Service absolutely exceeded all our expectations. Book them today!

Helpful and fun

Planning a wedding during Covid wasn’t easy or fun. But Bob with electric blue made this process as easy as possible. When I had to move the first wedding he was more than accommodating and moved to my new chosen date. Communication was easy and enjoyable. Bob was a big help on picking out songs and making sure the flow of our wedding went well. When we had to move events around during the reception he was accommodating and made it work. Everyone had a lot of fun at the wedding and Bob did a great job of playing music to encourage guests to dance. I would recommend Bob and Electric Blue to anyone planning a wedding.

Pandemic Wedding

Bob was such a pleasure to work with. We hired Electric Blue DJ a year and a half in advance of our 7/11/2020 wedding only to then move our wedding to 7/10/2021 during Covid. Bob was quick to accept our date change, did not change prices, and assured us of all details as we moved our wedding. He was very professional and I really appreciated how he knew little details to keep the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception moving well!

I also used Electric Blue DJ for a local prom, same great service!

We hired Electric Blue DJ & Bob the day we met with him. We met with no other DJs and felt no need to. Throughout this crazy 2020 year, Bob remained hopeful with us and allowed us to have an amazing wedding while still being safe. He was always prompt to answer any questions we had, made adjustments for us on the fly, played any songs we wanted to, reassured us when needed and created an atmosphere of fun and joy for us. I've known Bob for a long time, he's not only a friend but a great dj. He was the dj for multiple family functions besides my wedding. Even with the no dancing restrictions at my wedding he still did an excellent job and played great music all night long!!!!

Fantastic DJ!

Bob did an amazing job as our DJ for our wedding this September!! Having a wedding during covid was hard enough but Bob did a fantastic job dealing with everything! He had guests text him request to helP make social distancing easier. Also my father and I both sang songs and Bob had all the music we needed and plastic wrap on the microphones for safety and was there to help with everything. I would definitely recommend Electric Blue!! Everyone was dancing all night!! He even had a light on the ceiling that said MR and MRS!

Wedding DJ

Bob was the DJ for our COVID-19 downsized wedding. Although dancing was not permitted he played a great set of tunes for people to listen and mingle to. He was super flexible and safe about meeting up beforehand to finalize wedding details. He was always easy to get in touch with. Despite facing a number of setbacks traveling to the wedding for us - we never would have guessed! He came in with a smile, set up promptly and got the festivities going. Great services for a great price. Definitely recommend Electric Blue.

Our wedding!

Electric Blue DJ, DJ’d our wedding this past September! They were wonderful to work with and truly captured the party essence we wanted! Electric Blue had our entire wedding dancing

My wife met Bob at Electric Blue at the annual Wedding Show in Albany. We scheduled our first meeting with him around 8 months or so prior to our wedding date and it was very obvious that Bob knew his stuff. We had our last meeting a week before the big day and Bob was more than prepared. He made sure he could pronounce names correctly, had our favorite songs lined up, and made sure we were all set.

The day of, I had to make a last minute change approximately 20 minutes before to the song my Mother wanted for our dance. He fixed it on the spot. He even worked with my Mom and Aunts to do a special dance for all of my brothers, and my wife's brother during the reception! All of the music was a ton of fun and looking around, almost anyone who could physically dance was out on the floor. We also got the Photo Booth which our guests LOVED. Tons of props and all of them were used.

Bob was fantastic. We'll 100 percent be recommending him to anyone who asks!

Reads the crowd!

Electric Blue was very professional and provided a wonderful evening of music at our daughter’s wedding. Bob’s upbeat attitude set the tone for making the evening perfect. Did a great job of keeping the kids dancing, balancing their requests (which weren’t very dance-able) with songs that made them all want to dance! Professional. Was there and all set up even before we got there (and we were pretty early). Communication prior to the event was terrific. I had contacted several djs and they were the one who consistently and professionally communicated with me in a timely fashion, no matter how many times I contacted them as things evolved.

Bob Hawley at Electric Blue DJ Service threw us a great party for our wedding! The dance floor was constantly full of people and everyone had a blast. Justin Cook was our DJ for our wedding in September 2018 at the Saratoga Hilton. He arrived early to set up and had the uplighting and personalized GoBo perfect- ready to go when the cocktail hour ended. We had a hiccup during the wedding and Justin adjusted his schedule with the Hilton to accommodate our wedding- lengthening our reception without charge. He came to us during the wedding to discuss plans before enacting- keeping us very involved. He gauged our family and friends so well that we had many people on the dance floor before dinner ended and they didn’t leave until the conclusion of our reception. I had family and friends asking me after the wedding who are DJ was because they were so impressed. Justin was so professional and was great with the kids that attended our reception too. The party he hosted was unlike any wedding I had been to- I just can not recommend him enough. If you want a memorable reception- your search is over because Electric Blue DJing is where it’s at.

Got married on 7/15/18 and Bob was absolutely fantastic for our wedding! He listened to everything we said we wanted and followed it to a T! DJ Bob was very attentive, he stuck with our Halloween themed wedding, had an outrageously vast collection of music to choose from. He had an incredible knowledge of music and was able to help us decide what to play. Bob Transitioned songs flawlessly and kept our guests dancing all night. He even came out onto the dance floor and showed us how to dance the Cupid shuffle. The shoe game was a lot of fun the custom Gobo that he designed. came out great!! Bob saved the day! He is a professional through and through. Our reception venue really dropped the ball, but Bob's quick thinking and years of experience made the night a magical event for the ages. I've gotten compliments from all my guests about how fun the reception was and how Bob did an amazing job of keeping the jams flowing. He swooped in when the waitstaff we're slacking and overall saved the day. He's a hero in and out of the DJ booth. 11/10 would recommend to anyone needing a DJ. Great DJ, Highly flexible for your special day. Great communication with other players involved with our wedding. He gave us a great phone consult in order to get our preferred music list for everything. We have just hired Electric Blue DJ service for our 2018 annual Appreciation Dinner/Dance. This will be the fourth year in a row.
Bob and Frank both have done a great job in the last 3 years, they know how to read a crowd and to engage them immediately.they also have the "little extras" that make such a big difference in an event. Our members are still talking about how much fun they had and how they are looking forward to next years Dinner/ Dance.

We had Justin as our DJ and he was amazing from the first day we met him. He was always there when we needed to talk or change things. On the day of the wedding, we had to make a few changes and he was super flexible for us. Once the ceremony was over, the reception was just icing on the cake. He played all the right music and knew exactly what we were looking for. We also played a shoe game while guests were waiting to finish their meals and everyone loved it. He was a blast, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.

Electric Blue DJ was beyond what we could have asked for during our wedding reception! Justin met with us multiple times prior to the event and was happy to do whatever we wanted! We didn't know if we wanted to do the garter/bouquet toss and Justin planned songs just in case - he was more than accommodating with everything! At our wedding, Justin made personal touches for our introductions and the dance floor was full the entire night. Our guests are still talking about the great music and how much fun they had at our reception! We couldn't have done this without Electric Blue DJ services - they were so helpful with everything we needed!

Bob was great! He kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night, and he was a great MC for all the services. He was very professional and easy to work with. He was very responsive to any questions we had, and did a great job helping us plan for our reception. We attended two weddings that Bob DJ'd before we hired him for ours, and he was just as good at both of them. I highly would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ

Thought he was amazing. Here's how dedicated he is...so on the day of our wedding, he got into a car accident on the way to our venue (hit a deer). Despite that, he managed to rent a van last minute and still show up on time. Wow.

Really enjoyed working with Bob. He was very responsive during the planning stages, super helpful and insightful with music suggestions, and his DJing on the big day knocks it out of the park. I give Bob my highest recommendation.

Bob was terrific - the best you could ask for. He actually had a traffic accident heading to my venue on the day and totaled his car, and still made it on time! It was a miracle and I was so happy I had gone with someone who is really passionate about providing the best service. The music was great and he did everything to our specifications. I couldn't ask for a better DJ

Bob, the owner, was the DJ at my daughter's wedding and came highly recommended for his professionalism which he was indeed. He was very cordial and accommodating when meeting with my daughter and I on both occasions to pick out music selections for her wedding. He also offered suggestions which were greatly appreciated.

If you are deciding to choose a DJ for your wedding and currently weighing your options look no further! Bob from Electric Blue DJ Service is fantastic. From the moment he met us he had a well written out pamphlet to keep everyone organized. He asked us each individuals name that was to be announced and exactly how to pronounce their name (huge huge pet peeve of mine is when DJ announce the names for the wedding incorrectly). Bob was professional from the moment we met to the day of the wedding. He did our ceremony music and reception. Everything was done on point and all our guests had a great time dancing the night way. If you are looking for professional and affordable DJ services then Electric Blue DJ is the right business for your event. Bob is truly in the DJ business because he enjoys what he does and that care shines through to his work. A+ service!! Thank you Bob.

He was just what we were looking for! We wanted someone to play the music and keep the party going without being too intrusive on the mic or dance floor. He had great energy and was very professional. Very happy we chose electric blue dj!

Bob is an awesome dj and was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. He was very accommodating of our needs and if he doesn't have a song you want he will get it! The services he provides would easily cost almost double anywhere else. He will make sure your guests have a good time!

Bob traveled all the way to CT for our wedding about a month ago. From the moment we got in contact with him, he was prompt at responding and was very flexible with working with our crazy schedules in order to meet with him. He was patient, listened to our ideas, and helped us fill in the blanks where it was needed. He considered what we wanted (nothing crazy), and he did not try and push us for anything more than what we were looking for. He was a major part of our wedding day running so smoothly. He did a wonderful job of incorporating our guests into the day through requests, special dances and shoutouts. He even got some new equipment to make sure that our all outdoor ceremony/reception was perfectly wired for sound as area was quite big. He spent most of the time walking around and mingling with the guests and not just stuck behind the controls. He even kept the young ones engaged with blow up guitars. We could not have been happier working with Bob, and we would absolutely love to work with him again!

Bob was absolutely amazing !! he had people on the dance floor all night long and it was great! my family loves to dance so it was great- i wanted older songs to play during cocktail hour and he did just that ( no lyrics which was great) then as soon as the toasts were done it was time to Dance ! i would recommend him completely he did an AMAZING job ! Thanks Bob you helped make our wedding perfect !! !!

Amazing dj... character charisma... had the whole wedding hoping. Our family has used them for years for many different events. I would truly recommend using them for your next event. Cost quality and amazing memories

Bob went above and beyond what we could have ever imagined! He played songs for every generation that was there! The dance floor was never empty and everyone had an awesome time. He had great ideas for songs when we didnt know what to use and he accommodating when I checked songs at the last minute! He is willing to work with to come up with a playlist that will make any couple happy! I would highly recommend him to any friends and family!
Thank youna great time Bob! Even if we had to play Bon Jovi!!!

We cannot say enough good things about Bob and Electric Blue!! He worked so well with us to make the wedding music and the reception music exactly what we wanted. He made the whole process easy and had great suggestions! Everyone had a blast!!! I have already recommended him to others!
